A Most Curious King
The crew finds themselves suddenly accosted by a goliath of a man, abuzz with curiosity concerning Lyria. In search of a mysterious power, the winged king requests to join (Captain)'s crew.
The crew is continuing their journey through sunlit cliffs, taking in the fresh air.
Along the way, Lyria has absorbed yet another primal beast.
Lyria: That was good!
Vyrn: You know, I've been wondering... What's it like to, you know, absorb one of those things? Like, on a scale of blegh to yum?
Lyria: Er... There's not much taste, to be honest. It's more like a texture, I guess?
Katalina: Huh? Who's there? Show yourself!
Nezahualpilli: Hah hah hah! To have noticed my presence so easily, you must be a knight among knights!
Katalina: I thought I felt someone watching us for a while... Well? Who are you supposed to be?
Nezahualpilli: Oh, please don't make such a scary face! A smile would do much to soften your already beautiful face!
Katalina: B-beautiful? Me? No... I-I'm average at best...
Nezahualpilli: I do say... Watching you has been incredibly fascinating. You there, girl!
Lyria: Aaah!
Nezahualpilli: The power you wield... It's quite curious indeed.
Nezahualpilli: If my eyes can be trusted, did I witness you consuming a primal beast?
Lyria: Oh, um... Well...
Katalina: She isn't obligated to answer your questions. We have our reasons, you see.
Nezahualpilli: Ahaha! Yes, indeed! I'm sure!
Nezahualpilli: Such secrecy... Very intriguing, if I do say so myself!
Rackam: I-intriguing, you say... What, you with the empire or something?
Nezahualpilli: Very well! Girl, I want to know more about you!
Nezahualpilli: I'd like for you to join my clan! You're coming with me!
Lyria: Wait, what?
Katalina: D-don't be stupid! You think I'd just hand Lyria off to some stranger I've never met before!
Rackam: That's right, you heard the lady! Not a chance, buddy.
Rackam: Listen here, birdy. You gotta open with "I'd like to ask for your daughter's hand.", or something, right?
Nezahualpilli: Oho! So you were her mother all this time!
Katalina: I'm not that old! You could have at least said older sister! Geez...
Before the situation deteriorated any further, the Eagle King finally offers an explanation to the crew.
Katalina: So basically, you're looking for some unknown power you can take back to your home?
Katalina: And you're not trying to court Lyria?
Nezahualpilli: Indeed! If I were aiming for such, I'd have looked no further than you...
Katalina: P-p-please, stop! Just be quiet!
Katalina: Ahem... There's still quite a bit of journeying we have to do.
Katalina: It's great that you're trying to learn about the world to help your people back home, but I don't think Lyria has the answers you need.
Nezahualpilli: Hmm... In that case, would you be able to explain to me how the power works?
Vyrn: No can do, buddy. We're pretty much stumped ourselves.
Nezahualpilli: I see... Then the matter is settled. I will accompany you on your journey.
Nezahualpilli: Why, it's exactly as it sounds! I wish to accompany you for the sheer value of the journey itself!

Nezahualpilli: Ahaha! I must say! You have a heart of gold, (Captain)!
