Alchemist's Desire - Chapter 3: Homunculus, Homunculi - Episode 4
(Captain) is unable to sleep and bumps into Clarisse during a walk outside. The two are walking together when they are suddenly attacked by people in town who seem to be acting strangely. The pair manage to run away, but are approached by Risette who goes up to Clarisse and bites her. Cagliostro comes to their help, and the three work to restrain Risette.
(Captain) lies in bed, thinking about the rocky relationship between Mireille and Risette.
Unable to sleep, (Captain) gets up from bed and decides to go outside for some fresh air.
Clarisse: Hm? (Captain)?
Choose: What're you doing up so late?
Clarisse: I'm taking a walk.
Clarisse: I was thinking about Mireille and Risette, and just couldn't fall asleep after that...
Clarisse: What about you?
Choose: It's dangerous to be out by yourself.
Gran is the Main Character
Clarisse: Sorry, it's just... I couldn't fall asleep.
Clarisse: So I thought I'd take a walk outside to relax.
Djeeta is the Main Character
Clarisse: Well, you're by yourself too, aren't you?

Clarisse: Don't tell me you were thinking about Mireille and Risette too?
Clarisse: I see... I guess we're the same then.
Clarisse: Do you want to take a walk together?
Clarisse: I'm sure we'll feel better if we have each other for company.
(Captain) smiles and nods.
Clarisse: There's practically no one out here. I guess it is the middle of the night.
Choose: Isn't it a bit too quiet though?
Clarisse: You think? It could be normal for this town. I mean, it's a pretty small place...
Fruit Artisan: ...
Clarisse: Hm? Isn't that the person from the store who's really good at cutting fruit?
Clarisse: I wonder what he's doing so late... Maybe he's preparing for tomorrow.

The man notices the two and walks slowly toward them.
Clarisse: Good evening. Are you still working at this—
Fruit Artisan: Give... me...
The man suddenly makes a pounce at Clarisse.
Clarisse: Whoa!
(Captain) jumps in to block the attack and takes a few steps back.
Fruit Artisan: ...
Clarisse: Th-thanks, (Captain).
Clarisse: But why is he attacking us...
Boy: Not enough... More... More...
Woman: Give me... more...
Man: Give me... This isn't... enough...
Clarisse: W-what? Why?
All of a sudden, people begin to emerge from the dark.
They show themselves one by one and charge at (Captain) and Clarisse.
Clarisse: What should we do... Why are they attacking us?
Clarisse: They're all acting strangely... but it's not like we can just blow them away like monsters.
Choose: Let's make a run for it!
Clarisse: O-okay!
(Captain) and Clarisse continue running for a while before ducking into an alleyway.
Clarisse: Huff... Huff... They probably won't find us here.
Clarisse: Did you see their eyes, (Captain)? They definitely didn't look normal.
Clarisse: Something's wrong with all of them... What could have happened—
Risette: Oh... There you are...
Clarisse: Risette?
Clarisse: I thought you were staying at home to look after Mireille...
Risette: I ate... so much... But still... hungry...

Clarisse: What's wrong, Risette? Are you okay?
Concerned, Clarisse walks over to Risette. Suddenly, Risette turns her head and bites hard into Clarisse's neck.
Clarisse: Ouch!
Risette: Tasty... So... satisfying...
Clarisse: What... is this... I feel like all my energy is...
Cagliostro: That's as far as you go, Risette.
Before (Captain) has a chance to make a move, an alchemic explosion shakes the alley, throwing Risette back.
Cagliostro: (Captain), Clarisse. Are you two okay?
Clarisse: Cough, cough...
Clarisse: Oof! Thanks for the save, Master, but there were nicer ways to go about that!
Cagliostro: Oh, shut your trap. I made sure to hold back just enough so no one gets hurt.
Cagliostro: Anyway, Risette sucked your blood, didn't she?
Clarisse: Y-yeah... I feel a little faint, but fine otherwise.
Clarisse: But what exactly is going on? All the people from town started going after us, and now Risette...
Cagliostro: Save the talk for later. We gotta get this one under control first.
Risette: More... Your life... Give it to me...
Risette: Satisfy... me...
