Chloe's Inner Struggle
Chloe is seen studying makeup on the deck of the Grandcypher. When a curious Lyria appears, Chloe offers to do Lyria's makeup as well. The two revel in the transformative experience. But that peace is quickly disturbed by the sudden appearance of monsters. An angered Chloe leads the attack to fend them off.
On the deck of the Grandcypher, Lyria and Vyrn spot Chloe staring in the mirror.
Lyria: Hmm, what's Chloe doing over there?
Chloe: Oh hey, Lyrina! Vyrnathan! Captain! Take a look at this. I'm studying makeup right now!
Lyria: Oh, wow. Makeup!
Vyrn: Your eyes were rolled back into your head. You had me worried!
Chloe: Aw, c'mon now, Vyrnathan. Don't watch me doing my makeup.
Vyrn: No one would notice if you did it in your room!
Chloe: Nah, it's too dark in there. And I'm, like, the sun's biggest fan.

Chloe, who has always dreamed of becoming stronger, sheds tears of joy in vanquishing the monsters. But when those tears wash away her makeup, Chloe feels distraught and confused as she covers her face in a hurry. Despite this, Lyria and crew reach out to her and calm her. Touched by everyone's kindness, Chloe feels like she's grown as a person.

Despite Vyrn's efforts to calm her down, she keeps panicking.

Lyria and Chloe enjoy a quiet chat in the gentle breeze of the afternoon. Chloe reveals her true feelings to Lyria, and entrusts her with a trinket as a symbol of friendship. With their own little secrets between them, a budding new friendship is born.
Two figures can be seen on the deck, relaxing in the gentle afternoon breeze.
