Scenario:Happy Holidays! 2021 - Homespun Winter Concert - Episode 9

It is the day of the performance.

Arriet: Thanks for gathering today, everyone! Please enjoy the concert to the very end!

At Arriet's signal, the performers bow in unison and ready their instruments.

Arriet: One, two, three... Now!

The concert begins with six members playing in sync, putting their graceful coordination on display.

Selfira takes the lead with an airy, inspirational melody. Pamela's flute serves as the perfect accompaniment to it.

Cecile's high notes ring out as if celebrating holiday cheer, with Arriet's glissando accentuating the mood.

Elta's low sounds and Mahira's drums bring it all together with a sense of rhythm.

Keehar: Ha-ha-ha! I'm loving it already!

Narmaya: Me too! Fif and the other children are so cute with their instruments!

Sara's kalimba provides Selfira's cantus with a soft, velvety harmony.

Juliet, Caim, and You tap their castanet, guiro, tambourine respectively while moving with grace.

Lyria, who is meant to play the wind chime only at one very special part, claps her hands throughout the show.

Prancing about in front of the percussion group is Fif, blowing her trumpet in a freeform style.

Volenna: You can hardly tell that they have so many beginners... I'm sure practicing helped, but...

Volenna: More than that is the skill of the ones who put this score together. They're the real pros.

Kou: They're having some much fun performing that just watching them is a joy!

Sara: (Um... After this is...)

Juliet: (It's supposed to get faster from here... I'll do it just like we practiced.)

Caim: (Now's my chance to shine! You can do this, Caim!)

The tension is palpable as the music reaches a crescendo.

Performers: ...!

You: (Now to finish off with that finger roll I practiced so hard on!)

Lyria: (The twinkly sound of the wind chime should leave a lasting impression!)

The excitement reaches a fever pitch as the music comes to a stop, welcoming in a thunderous round of applause and cheers.

Romeo: Bravo! That was fantastic!

The Hanged Man: Not bad at all.

Performers: ...!

Sara: Huh? Mahira?

Mahira continues beating her drums amid the high praise.

Mahira: Ehehe, this has been eggs-traordinary.

Mahira: The main song's over, but how about an encore to top things off?

Arriet: Sounds good to me! I'm going to play some simple tunes, and everyone else can follow along!

As Arriet starts up another melody, the other veterans quickly follow suit.

The beginner musicians exchange knowing glances and join in too in their own way.

Cecile: You in the audience—we need you too! Clap with us! Sing along if you'd like! Let's make this a holiday to remember!

Vyrn: Hahah! This is one heck of a show, huh! Let's go to the front, (Captain)!

(Captain) joins the rest of the crowd in clapping and cheering on the performers.
