Courage Comes from Within

The townspeople come to aid (Captain) and the others in their search for Pengy. They reveal that the town was saved by Pengy ten years ago, but at the greatest price. The current Pengy, whose true name is Iris, recalls the memory of her father, the original Pengy. He was a hero who traveled the skies saving people, and sacrificed his life to save the town from a falling airship.

Pengy is in dire straights after being kidnapped by a mysterious man who hijacked her machina soldier during the show.
(Captain) and crew are in frantic search of their friend, but progress is slow with no clues to go on.
Vyrn: That lowlife! What the heck's he trying to do, taking Pengy like that?
Lyria: I hope she's okay.
Lyria: I'm also worried about the town. That man said he'd come back to destroy it...
Lyria: (Captain), do you think we should evacuate everyone—
Citizen 1: Nuh-uh, nope! You may be Pengy's assistants, but we won't hear none of that!
Citizen 2: It'll be easier to find her if you have more hands on deck, yeah? We'll help search!
All around the town square, citizens gather and organize into search parties.
Vyrn: We appreciate the thought, but we're dealing with a bona fide villain here. He wasn't kiddin' about tearing down the town, y'know?
Vyrn: Facing guys like him is a job for skyfarers like us—
Citizen 1: What do you take us for, huh? Pengy's the hero we owe everything to!
Citizen 1: You think we're gonna leave her to rot in a bad guy's clutches?
The impassioned citizen gestures to the Pengy statue nearby.
Lyria: Actually... I've been wondering about that statue.
Lyria: Has Pengy been to this town before?
Citizen 2: Yeah... About ten years ago. The statue was built right after.
Vyrn: Whoa, ten years? How old is she?
Citizen 1: Wait... Do you guys not know?
Citizen 1: There was a Pengy before her. The first Pengy who made the ultimate sacrifice to save this town...
While (Captain) and the others are searching for Pengy, the hero in question lies unconscious.
A pitch black room serves as her cage.
As she begins to stir, her mind travels to a distant memory...
???: Hey, Pappy!
Pappy: Waaah!
Pappy: Oh, it's you, Iris. Now my machine parts are scattered everywhere...
???: Well, it's your fault for being so jumpy! You know there's nobody else in here besides you and me.
???: Why're you being such a scaredy-cat?
Pengy: Is... this a memory of me growing up?
She deduces that she is watching her past play out before her.
As far back as she can remember, she and her father spent their days surrounded by machinery.
He gave her the name "Iris" and was her father in everything but blood.
Pengy: He always liked to tell me that I fell from heaven right into his lap.
The Pengy in her memory helps her father gather the parts on the floor.
Young Pengy: Oh! Is this a part you're gonna use for the big Pengy?
Pappy: Oh-ho, that's exactly what it is! You're starting to have a good eye for this.
Pappy: If we put Pengy's main body in the center and attach a buncha different parts around it, the suit'll end up even bigger than our house!
Young Pengy: Really? I figured Pengy would look cuter if she was smaller though.
Pappy: Haha, a Pengling, huh? Now that's an idea!
Pappy: But we still gotta have a big Pengy, Iris. It'll be everyone's courage given form!
Pappy: I'll complete her no matter what!
Young Pengy: Courage given form...
Pappy: It's about that time though. I should head out on patrol.
Young Pengy: Yes! I've been waiting for you to transform into Pengy!
Young Pengy: Oh, but before that... Watch me!
Pappy: Hmm?
Young Pengy: Power Up! Pengy Up! It's hero time!
Young Pengy: How's that? I thought up a transformation pose for Pengy!
Pappy: Wow! That was super cool!
Young Pengy: Right? I practiced a whole bunch!
Young Pengy: You should use it! I'll be cheering you on while you're out there!
Pappy: Iris, you are a genius! My cute, kind, super adorable genius!
Pappy: Power Up! Pengy Up! It's hero time!
Pappy: Yeah, that was the best transformation in the history of transformations! For that you deserve the noogiest noogie in all of noogie history!
Young Pengy: Ahaha... That tickles!
Iris's father is the first Pengy to don the suit.
He travels around the sky saving others and garners a following, much like the current Pengy.
The scene changes time and place, the sky above turning a dark gray.
Young Pengy: Please! Pappy, please be okay!
Pengy: This memory is... from ten years ago.
Even as Iris turns her importunate eyes skyward, an airship billowing smoke plummets through the clouds.
At the front of the airship is Pengy—her father inside the suit.
Pengy: Pappy shifted the airship so it wouldn't crash into the town...
Pengy: All I could do was watch it happen.
The airship eventually crashes into a nearby forest.
Later on, the passengers of the ship reveal that Pengy fired a huge blast to slow their descent and dampen the impact of the crash.
Thanks to that valiant effort, the airship was spared major damage, and not a single passenger nor townsman was harmed.
Pengy: But... Pappy was...
He died protecting everyone.
Iris doesn't take the news well. She locks herself into her room and cries until her voice goes hoarse.
Young Pengy: I... I couldn't do anything to save him!
Ten years have passed since then.
In that time, Iris builds Pengy Number Two and follows in her father's footsteps.

Courage Comes from Within: Scene 2

Pengy awakens inside a cell. The man who kidnapped her reveals a deep hatred for Pengy, and commands the machina soldier he stole to begin destroying the town, causing Pengy to doubt her role as a hero. However, the crew and the girl Pengy encouraged the day before manage to find Pengy and free her. With their encouragement, the hero finds the courage to stand back on her feet and fight.

Pengy: Ngh... Where...
Pengy wakes to find herself imprisoned, though not bound.
Beyond the cell bars, the man who had kidnapped her stands calm and collected.
Man: So you're finally awake. Just in time to catch the rest of the show.
He smirks and points to the window.
Machina Soldier: ...!
Pengy: You're making Biggy destroy the town?
Pengy: You... Why are you doing this?
Man: I said this was a show, didn't I? All you need to worry about is enjoying the spectacle from your custom-made front-row seat.
Man: It's a once-in-a-lifetime special showing—Pengy's own creation destroying the town she's meant to protect! A magnificent display if I do say so myself.
Man: I took the liberty of removing the soldier's safety mechanisms as well.
Pengy: You didn't answer my question! Why are you doing this?
Man: Isn't it obvious? To watch you crumple in despair.
Man: Destroying a town or two is nothing if I'm to reach my goal.
Pengy: ...!
Pengy: (Is he serious? All this just to get to me?)
Outside the window, the machina soldier continues to wreak havoc on the town. Every strike echoes like a thunderclap, reducing buildings to rubble.
Man: That's right: take a good, long look. This is the type of scene you've always turned a blind eye to.
Man: The destruction of towns you didn't care to know. The despair of every person you couldn't be bothered to save.
Man: And yet... You still have the gall to strut about so proud—so satisifed—that you've saved only the people that have graced your presence...
Man: How unbelievably conceited!
Pengy: What? Me and Pappy were never—
Man: So are you capable of saving everyone in the skies then?
While the man sneers, businesses and homes collapse left and right, and people's livelihoods are demolished.
Pengy: ...!
Young Pengy: Please! Pappy, please be okay!
Young Pengy: I... I couldn't do anything to save him!
Man: Hmm? Have I dredged something up?
Man: Perhaps... have you been going around saving people because you wish to absolve yourself of guilt?
Pengy: N-no, I...
Machina Soldier: ...!
The machine halts its devastation and returns to the window. Its head opens to reveal the pilot seat, which the man then climbs into.
Man: The finale is at hand.
Man: There is a limit to autopilot, unfortunately. I'll have to manually crush the rest of the garbage until nothing remains.
Man: You just stay there and watch from the sidelines like you always have...
Pengy: Don't think you can get away with this!
Pengy fires a surprise shot at the cell bars, but an invisible barrier stops her attack.
Pengy: No way...
Man: I said it was a custom-made front-row seat, didn't I? It's equipped to nullify your entire arsenal.
Man: However, struggle if you wish. Such a sad sight is also quite enjoyable!
Cackling, he sets off in the machina soldier.
Pengy: What do I do? If I don't do something, the town'll be...
Man: The destruction of towns you didn't care to know. The despair of every person you couldn't be bothered to save.
Man: Perhaps... have you been going around saving people because you wish to absolve yourself of guilt?
Pengy: He's wrong... I just wanted to save others like Pappy did.
Pengy slumps down to the floor, drained of spirit.
Pengy: ...
Pengy: Was everything I did all for nothing?
Pengy: I... I just...
The man's words loop in her head as she grapples with the despair in her heart.
But not for long. The dark silence is suddenly shattered by the door slamming open.
Young Girl: Pengy! We came to save you!
Pengy: You're... the girl from yesterday?
Lyria: Are you okay? We'll get you out of there right now!
Pengy: You guys too? How'd you find me?
Vyrn: This little squirt came to us, saying she probably knew where you were.
Young Girl: I sometimes feel pretty down and hide by myself in a lot of places... so I know all the best spots to hide out in.
Young Girl: So I... I did my best to be brave and asked them to let me help!
Young Girl: I guess you really are Pengy! I kinda hoped you were when we met yesterday.
Pengy: ...
Pengy remains unmoving despite the open cell door.
Pengy: I'm sorry, everyone.
Lyria: Huh? Why are you apologizing?
Pengy: Because... The bad guy was after me this whole time!
Pengy: And now everyone's in danger, and it's all my fault...
Pengy: I can't protect anyone... I'm a failure of a hero...
Vyrn: Pengy...
Pengy, unable to bring herself to look her friends in the eye, bites her lip and stares at the ground.
Silence hangs heavy over the room, but only for a moment.
Young Girl: R-raawwr!
Young Girl: I'm a big bad monster! Super scary and mean!
Pengy: Wh-what?
Young Girl: Come on, we're playing make-believe! You're going to be Pengy!
Young Girl: Remember? You helped me be braver before.
Young Girl: So this time it's my turn to help you be braver too!
Pengy: Me... be more brave?
Vyrn: Y'know, Pengy, all the people from town are searching for you right now.
Vyrn: We told 'em to evacuate, but they insisted on "fighting alongside Pengy" and wouldn't listen to another word.
Vyrn: So don't say you're a failure of a hero, because we sure as heck don't think so!
Pengy: But... I lost last time in front of everyone...
Lyria: This time will be different since we'll be fighting with you!
Young Girl: Yeah! If we all work together, we won't lose!
Young Girl: We'll win, just like we always do during the show!
  1. Every one of us will cheer you on!

Choose: Every one of us will cheer you on!

Pengy: ...!
(Captain) flashes a grin and two thumbs up.
A fire begins to burn within Pengy's heart as she recognizes the courage that's been passed from Pengy to the townspeople, then back to herself.
Pengy: That's right... How could I forget?
Pengy: Everything I've done wasn't all for nothing!
She leaps to her feet with a spark in her eyes.
Taking a familiar pose, she calls upon the aid of her trusty partner.
Pengy: Power Up!
Pengy: Pengy Up! It's hero time!
Young Girl: Pengy!
Pengy: I've got all of Biggy's moves memorized!
Pengy: So I'm the only one who can take him down! It's just... I don't know if I can handle it in this condition...
Vyrn: That's why we're here! We'll back you up!
The group quickly throws together a strategy to combat the machina soldier.
Once the plan is finalized, they split up to fulfill their separate duties.

Courage Comes from Within: Scene 3

Challenging the man to another fight, Pengy arrives with the newly completed Pengnormous Pengy suit which uses parts from the original Pengy. She tells the man that anybody can be a hero, so long as they have a little courage, and that Pengy's role is to give others that courage. With her friends and the town's help, she takes down the machina soldier and puts a stop to the man's destruction.

Man: Heh, this is too easy.
The machina soldier he controls shows no mercy as it smashes up building after building in the empty town.
Eventually he arrives at the town square.
Pengy Statue: ...
Man: A statue made in Pengy's image... I should've brought her along to watch its destruction.
Man: I'll just have to make do with erasing it from existence entirely.
He brings the soldier's fist over the statue.
Pengy: No you don't!
But just as his strike is about to connect, a hero arrives in time to intercept the attack.
Man: So you came. Convenient timing, I do say.
Pengy: Acting all tough, calm, and cool... Just admit you're surprised to see me!
Man: You must be joking. I expected you to be found at some point, given there are only so many hiding places around here.
Man: But to nonchalantly strut about the destruction you've caused? This town will perish because of you, you know.
Pengy: As if I'd let it! This is as far as you'll get!
Pengy: Colorful Barrage, ba, ba, ba-boom!
The barrage precisely targets various exposed points across the machine's body.
Machina Soldier: ...
Pengy: Biggy's joints are oiled up and nice, but if you take those out and leave a big ouchie, the mechanisms will stop working!
Pengy: Now put your hands up and come quiet—
Man: Unbelievable.
Machina Soldier: ...!
Pengy: Pegupegu?
Man: Did you already forget that I've completely studied all your technology? An attack like that won't do anything now.
Pengy: Seriously? If aiming at the weak points won't work...
Pengy: Pegu! I have to break through somehow!
The hero weaves between buildings as she shoots at the machina soldier and buys time to formulate a plan.
She manages to avoid attack after attack through sheer effort, but the tactic is short-lived.
Man: Hmph... You can only run for so long! Do you truly hope to distract me and scheme a counterattack?
Man: Unbelievable!
Pengy: Pegu?
The machina's attack blasts buildings apart, and debris rains down onto Pengy, sending her crashing into the town square.
Man: I've had enough of this farce. Let's finish this.
Pengy: P-pegu! My motor functions are damaged!
Man: Farewell, hypocrite of a hero!
The machina soldier's fist hovers over Pengy's head.
Just as the fist comes down, however, a new arrival interrupts.
Young Girl: You can do it, Pengy!
Man: ...!
The sudden shouting startles the man.
Pengy takes advantage of the distraction to dash away, and a moment later the machine's fist sails through empty space.
Citizen 1: We know you can win this, Pengy! Take that punk down!
Citizen 2: You've got this! Come on, Pengy!
The previously abandoned town square is filled with the cheers of its people.
Man: Fools, the lot of you. You had time to run away, and you squandered it.
Man: Besides, this isn't one of your idiotic performances. Your cheers will amount to nothing here.
Citizen 1: Says you! Heroes need our support!
Citizen 2: Yeah, we're gonna power Pengy right up!
Man: Unbelievable! The powerless exist to be oppressed... What do you possibly think you could contribute?
Man: Your lives belong to the whims of the strong, so why bother with this folly—
He cuts his soliloquy short as he notices something amiss.
Man: Wait... Where did that pesky hero go?
Young Girl: Hehe! I wonder?
Man: Tch, so you weaklings were a distraction, leaving your true goal to be...
Man: What... Is something falling from the sky?
Man: D-don't tell me...
Pengy: Super Startup! Pengnormous Pengy!
Pengy: Pengyaaa! Where are you going?
Man: Is this the machine she failed to use before?
The small airship bearing Pengy's logo barrels down from the sky.
The muzzle of a cannon extends from the hull. It fires, launching a machine which tears groundward like a speeding bullet.
Pengy: Super Unity!
Pengy hops into the air, and the machine expands to enfold her. The two of them fuse into a massive new form.
Pengy: Pen, pen-peeeng! Pengnormous Pengy, ready for action!
Man: Absurd! Absolutely absurd! How...
Vyrn: Ya blind or something? Or do you really not notice what's gone missing 'round here?
(Captain) and crew wave from the empty pedestal where the Pengy statue once stood.
Man: How... Where did the statue go?
Pengy: The answer is... It's inside this armor now!
Pengy: Had to use it as a controller to get the Stupengdous Airship to function properly and come back!
Pengy: Turns out the statue was the final part I needed to finish up the Pengnormous Pengy!
Man: Outrageous! Do you honestly expect me to believe a statue was used as a machine part?
Lyria: No, that's not what she meant. We actually discovered that parts from the first Pengy were put into the statue!
Lyria: Everyone wanted to pass down the legacy of the hero who saved the town...
Pengy: Parts from the first Pengy are inside the statue?
Vyrn: Yeah. The townspeople were telling us about how Pengy protected everyone...
Pengy: Oh... Sorry, I wasn't trying to keep it a secret or anything, but...
Vyrn: Nah, don't worry about it! Anyway...
Vyrn: They told us they were originally plannin' on taking the parts they found and melting them with the metal going into the statue.
Vyrn: But the metalworkers couldn't get the parts to melt at all, so they gave up, put the parts into a box, and put the box into the statue instead.
Pengy: What? Those parts have gotta be made of crazy tough stuff...
Lyria: We're not sure, but we were thinking they might come in handy somehow.
Pengy: Could they be the parts I've been looking for this whole time? No way...
Pengy: Wait, no, maybe... The parts I used for Pengy Number Two were totally different, so...
Pengy: That means the key component to controlling the Pengnormous Pengy has gotta be...
Lyria: It's worth a try! We'll work together and get the parts from the statue!
Pengy: Okay, I'll buy you guys some time! We'll only get one shot at this though...
Pengy: The parts Pappy used are made of ultra special stuff!
Pengy: One look and I knew: they're the super gadgets I need to get the Pengnormous Pengy working!
Man: Mixing parts together without calibration and having them actually work... Inconceivable!
Pengy: Calibrations woulda been nice, but I didn't need them to see that I had a perfect match on my hands!
Pappy: But we still gotta have a big Pengy, Iris. It'll be everyone's courage given form!
Pappy: I'll complete her no matter what!
Pengy: Because... I've got the courage Pappy gave me to finish what he started!
Man: Stop screwing around with me! Illogical fools! Idiotic imbeciles!
Enraged, he uses the machina soldier to unleash a flurry of devastating blows on the Pengnormous Pengy.
Pengy: Pegi, pegi!
But the Pengnormous Pengy takes every blow without flinching.
Man: She's tanking every hit... Are you joking?
Man: Damn you! If only... If only you never existed...
Pengy: I'm not the only hero in the world, you know?
Man: Do you see anyone else strutting about in a stupid costume? You and you alone are the source of my torment!
Pengy: You just don't get it... So lemme tell it to you straight: everyone in this town is a hero!
Pengnormous Pengy's arms spread open, motioning to the townspeople and the crew.
Man: Are you daft? Weaklings are made only to be prey!
Pengy: That's where you're wrong. They're true heroes because they mustered the courage to fight alongside me! It's all in the strength of the heart, you see.
Man: Courage? Heart? What are you going on about?
Pengy: Remember how you told me it's impossible to save everyone by myself?
Pengy: That's probably true. I can't be everywhere at once.
Pengy: But what I can do is give everyone a kick of courage!
Pengy: A bit of bravery is all anybody needs to fight their own fights and become a hero!
Pengy: That's what Pengy's here for: to spread that message!
Man: Ridiculous! Anybody can become a hero, you say?
Man: Then where was mine when I needed one most?
Pengy: Full Throttle Courage to the Ultra Max!
Pengy: Full Throttle Courage to the Ultra Max!
The Pengnormous Pengy raises a fist at the machina soldier and prepares to strike.
Man: Damn it! Dodge! Move!
The machina soldier leaps back, managing to put enough distance between itself and the incoming attack.
However, the Pengnormous Pengy's pilot seat opens and launches Pengy in the next moment.
Man: Unbelievable...
Pengy: Ultimate Colorful Special!
Man: Aaaahhh!
Pengy's special surprise lands true and puts an end to the man's ruinous scheme.

Courage Comes from Within: Scene 4

The man speaks of how he once wished to become like Pengy, but grew to hate the hero when his idol never came to save him after he was builled for trying to help others. The current Pengy deduces that he was bullied after her father died, but before she built and became Pengy Number Two. The man watches Pengy be moved to tears over his suffering and begins to reflect on his actions, eventually coming to see the truth in her words: perhaps a little bit of courage can make all the difference in the world.

In a miracle born from courage and heart, the hero takes down the villain and saves the day.
As the smoke clears, the man stands before a heap of what was once the machina soldier.
Man: So I've lost...
Pengy: Hey.
Pengy draws alongside the man. He continues to stare at the wreck without moving.
Pengy: Maybe we should move away? What's left of Biggy probably isn't safe...
Man: Acting out of pity? You are truly a hypocrite to the nth degree.
Pengy: You've got the wrong idea! Geez, you're such a sourpuss!
Pengy's cheery attitude remains unaffected by the man's cold demeanor.
Pengy: I get that you've got a grudge against me.
Pengy: But there's a reason for it, right?
Man: Must there be one? Your hypocrisy is truly astounding.
Man: ...
He finally pulls his gaze away from the scrap pile and turns it toward Pengy.
Man: If you must know, it was ten years ago.
Man: I was but a child. An unbelievably stupid one who dreamed of being like Pengy.
Pengy: ...!
Man: Pengy, in typical dashing fashion, once saved my father's caravan from an avalanche.
Man: Thanks to that experience, I took up studying machinery.
Man: I hoped to someday become a hero too.
Man: And then I learned what a fool I had been.
Young Man: No more bullying those who can't defend themselves! Face me instead!
Man: I wished to protect my friends, so I stood up to their bullies, just as I believed Pengy would do.
Man: The result was predictable... I was thoroughly thrashed and became the bullies' new target.
Man: When I watched from the sidelines I thought I could stand such treatment, but experiencing it firsthand was another story entirely.
He explains that he resisted at first, but eventually resigned himself to his fate.
Man: I was so convinced that Pengy would swoop in one day and save me.
Man: But that day never came.
Man: And then it dawned on me: a hero doesn't save everyone. A hero picks and chooses based on their own convenience.
Pengy: And... that's when you began to hate Pengy...
Man: The more I heard people sing Pengy's praises, the more a dark pit of resentment grew inside me.
Man: I decided I would never... ever... forgive a hero who wouldn't come for me!
Pengy: ...
Pengy: I'm sorry no one came for you.
Man: Mocking me now, are we? What do you expect me to do with an apology—
Pengy: No, no, I didn't mean it like that.
Pengy: It's just... if all that happened ten years ago, then that was before I became Pengy.
Pengy: Because I know if Pengy had been there, things would've been different.
Pengy's eyes drift over to the concerned townspeople watching the scene.
Man: What, are you hypothesizing that the people from my hometown would've received a bit of "Pengy courage" and helped me?
Despite dismissing Pengy's words, the man hesitates.
Man: And yet... Why didn't all these powerless people run when they had the chance?
Man: It's not like they could become Pengy themselves.
Man: I've had that lesson beat into me, but still...
Pengy: ...
Young Pengy: I can't... I can't do it. I can't be like Pappy.
Young Pengy: I can't be Pengy...
Pengy: I had the same thoughts before too. Me, becoming Pengy? Not in a million years.
Man: What?
Pengy: When my Pappy died, I never thought I could take up his mantle. I just cried and cried.
Pengy: But one day I found the blueprint for Pengy when I was cleaning up the house.
Pengy: Guess what was written on the edge of the paper?
Pengy: "A strong suit for those weak of heart."
Man: Are you telling me Pengy was built for... the weak?
Pengy: That's when it hit me. Pappy was always a huge scaredy-cat and nervous about everything!
Pengy: He'd hear a raccoon scurrying around outside and be so startled he'd knock all of his tools to the floor and hurt himself.
Pengy: He'd even accidentally lock himself inside Pengy and start crying.
Pengy: But that's why he worked so hard to help other people. He knew what it was like to be weak and scared and hurt...
Young Girl: Remember? You helped me be braver before.
Young Girl: So this time it's my turn to help you be braver too!
Pengy: And you know what? It's not all about fighting either! Just being by someone's side is enough to make a difference!
Pengy: Because a new hero is born every time someone gives another person a boost of courage and helps them back onto their feet!
Man: Keeping a single person company is all it takes? Don't be ridiculous.
Man: A hero is only recognized as a hero if they're out saving towns and making a name for themself.
Pengy: It's not about how many people you save or the types of deeds you do!
Pengy: It's what you do for the sake of another person that counts... Just like how you stood up for your friends. You were a real hero in my opinion.
Man: ...!
Pengy: But... nobody was there to be a hero for you... I'm so, so sorry.
Pengy begins to sniffle, her voice trembling.
Man: Why are you crying? It's not like you were the one who went through the experience.
Pengy: I... I dunno. But thinking about what you went through makes me super sad.
Man: I'm amazed that you would bother being sympathetic to someone like me...
Man: ...
Man: I wonder if a difference can be made from the inside of a cell?
Man: Albeit a small one. But even something small can save someone else...
Pain flashes in his eyes, but then the torment seems to ease, and a sense of peace falls over him.
Some time passes after the assault on the town.
Pengy and the crew stay to help with restoration efforts.
Hand in hand with the townspeople, steady progress is made and life returns almost to normal.
Eventually the rebuilding is complete, and Pengy holds a show to celebrate.
Vyrn: Pengy, you sure this is a good idea?
Pengy: Everything'll be fine! We gotta add some spice to life every now and then, right?
Vyrn: Okay, wait just a minute! I'm not sayin' I mind being the villain, what with the machina soldier destroyed and all.
Vyrn: But do you really have to show up in your Pengnormous Pengy suit? Like... that's overkill for fighting me, don'tcha think?
Pengy: Guess that means what you don't got in size, you gotta make up for with some super crazy acting!
Vyrn: That's not the point here! C'mon, tell her, (Captain). You don't wanna go onstage with that thing either, right?
  1. I beg of you... Please reconsider...
  2. But the explosion part will be great!

Choose: I beg of you... Please reconsider...

Vyrn: Uh... Okay, that might be overkill.
Go to "Continue 1"

Choose: But the explosion part will be great!

Vyrn: The heck? Don't tell me you're into this!
Pengy: See, (Captain)'s got the right idea!

Continue 1

Vyrn: Why are you obsessing so much over the big suit anyway?
Pengy: Because... I finally get why my pappy wanted to finish the Pengnormous Pengy!
Lyria: Um... You said he called it "everyone's courage given form," right?
Vyrn: So what? The suit's strong as heck, is that what you're gettin' at?
Pengy: No! I mean, it is, but that's not what I'm talking about.
Pengy: Y'see, if Pengy's a hundred times bigger, that means there's a hundred times more courage to go around!
Vyrn: Huh?
Pengy: Plus the bigger you are, the easier it is for everyone in the audience to see you! It's a win and a win!
Lyria: I see. It's all one big win!
Vyrn: Am I the only one not gettin' the picture here?
Vyrn: Well, whatever. If you're not gonna give up on it, at least save the transformation part for the end.
Everyone in town arrives to watch the show.
Pengy nearly bursts through the curtains in excitement, but manages to hold herself back until they are raised and the show begins.
Pengy: Pegi! Pegi, pegi!
Citizen 1: We were waiting for this, Pengyyyy!
Citizen 2: Pengy, you're so coooool!
Young Girl: You can do it! Pengy!
The crowd's enthusiastic cheers stir a well of emotions deep inside the hero.
Pengy: (I honestly thought everyone in this town only came because they missed my pappy—that he was the one they were seeing up here...)
Pengy: (But now I know they're here for Pengy, no matter who's inside!)
Pengy: (Because... anybody can be Pengy, right, Pappy?)
Pengy: Pegi! Pegi, pegi! (Pengy Up! It's hero time!)
As the hero brings joy to the audience, their joy in turn brings a smile to her face.
The show that day is bright and long, Pengy's happiness overflowing into every move.
