That night, Tristette, Lavirita, Morilynn, and Lodi launch an attack on (Captain) and company as the crew is sleeping together in one room. Lodi reveals himself to be Auditor Quarto of Navis, and that his weapon Parashu has the ability to make any person feel content through his singing. Under the effect of his power, the crew is unable to move. The Auditors kidnap (Captain), Lyria, and Vyrn and make their exit.

That same night, the crew all sleep side by side in the large room to discourage any suspicious behavior.

The hour is growing late when the distant sound of someone singing drifts into (Captain)'s ears, as soothing as waves on a shore.

Singing Voice: Even if our feelings are different
And the sky turns cloudy

Choose: This voice...

The music slowly pulls the captain out of the depths of slumber.

Lavirita: Have you awoken?

1. ...!

Choose: ...!

Morilynn: Good evening this evening. Excuse us for the inexcusable.

The captain looks up to find four figures hovering from above.

(Captain) immediately tries to reach out for a weapon, but is strangely unable to move.

Instead, a curious feeling of satisfaction fills (Captain) as all strength is drained from the captain's body.

Lodi: Let us go
To the end of the skies

Lodi: Chemistry! This is Parashu's power.

Lodi: Any princess in a crabby mood will find themselves feeling perfectly content after listening to the sound of my singing through Parashu.

An image of the concert the other day comes to (Captain)'s mind.

Thousands of spectators fill the venue, every single person cheering with a smile on their face.

Lodi: It seems your enmity has turned to contentment as well.

The captain looks around to see that the others have also awoken to find themselves unable to move.

Lodi: I told you I'm a professional singer of bedtime stories, remember?

Manamel: ...!

Lodi: Ah, yes. I used my power to turn your suspicion into something more amicable back then as well.

At Tristette's call, the monsters sling (Captain), Vyrn, and Lyria over their backs.

They jump out the window of the room and proceed to run deep into the darkness.

Feather & Randall: ...!

Lavirita: I'm very sorry, but we'll be taking those three with us. Works toward profit, you see.

Lavirita: ...

Fiorito: ...!

The Auditors make their exit, calmly walking away until they disappear into the night.

The remaining members of the crew succumb to the sweet, lingering notes of Lodi's singing and fall back into slumber.
