| With the death of his father and the government's ban on swords, this son of a swordsmanship dojo family has struggled with its upkeep. After Gintoki saved his sister from a loan shark Amanto, he resolved to temper his soul by observing Gintoki and working at Yorozuya. He is sucked through the back cover of Jump with Gintoki after failing to pull him out. As the one with most of their collective common sense, he often plays the straight man of the group. There also exists a rumor that his glasses are in fact his main body. |
