The next primal created after Ymir. During the War, he fought on the front lines as Gimle's primary source of firepower, wreaking havoc wherever he went. However, as he was assigned to the most treacherous and violent of battlefields, he sustained severe injuries and fell into a dormant state by the War's end. Expecting to slumber for millennia, Ymir's powers instead allowed him to awaken after approximately three centuries. Upon regaining consciousness, Surtr learns that Ymir sacrificed her own recovery capabilities to save her comrades and decides to dedicate himself to her cause. Although he bears no ill will toward the skydwellers or their primal friends, he will strike down all who stand in Ymir's way without hesitation.
