The highest-ranking researcher at the former empire's mask experiment test facility. After losing her position in the army, Zaryda fled to Agastia's dark alleys together with her closest aide, an elderly-looking Erune who had studied under her father (and an individual to whom she had given some Valentine's chocolate in the pre-imperial days), and Cherine, her strongest masked warrior. There, she established a masked organization filled with the city's poor and unwanted residents, as well as the rowdier of the empire's ex-soldiers. Her subordinates refer to her as "Boss," and although they look up to her, she returns their feelings with overbearing harshness and inhumane cruelty. Zaryda's end goal is to create a world without violence—even if it comes at the cost of killing her own followers.
