The Divine Generals Assembly - Opening

Anila tells the crew that the Divine Generals are due to have an important assembly for sharing information and getting to know one another better. As it turns out, Friday has offered the Alohas Super Resort—a leisure facility she opened that is ideal for workations—as the venue for their assembly. The crew drops the Divine Generals off at the resort.

A piercing cold wind blows across the skies as two figures stand on the deck of the Grandcypher.
One of them is (Captain), captain of the crew. The other is a young Draph with large, curled horns that make her hard to miss.
Anila: Eep, it's so cold... On days like these, I just want to sit and relax under a nice, toasty kotatsu...
The sheep guardian Anila, one of the Twelve Divine Generals, rubs her hands together to keep them warm.
After the War, skydwellers decided to build twelve temples in order to continue monitoring the Astral Realm.
Each of these temples is headed by a Divine General, whose sacred duty is passed down from generation to generation.
Through an unexpected encounter after fulfilling her divine duties, Anila now travels the skies with (Captain) and the rest of the crew.
Anila: This next job seems like a rather meddlesome one, though I'm sure you'll be able to handle it nevertheless.
Anila: But I'm sorry. As I mentioned earlier, we—
Vyrn: Hey! Whatcha standin' out here in the cold for?
Lyria: Hello, Anila! What are the two of you talking about?
Anila: Hee-hee! The two of you are as energetic as ever, even on a cold day like this. We weren't talking about anything important.
Anila: I was just telling (Captain) that the Divine Generals have to leave the ship for a while.
Anila: You'll still have Joy though, so I hope you'll take good care of him.
Vyrn: What's the matter? Is there somethin' you guys hafta do?
Anila: Yes, we're off to attend the Divine Generals Assembly!
Lyria: An... assembly?
Anila: That's right. It's a meeting between all of the Generals.
Vyrn: Is it the same as the one we went to when the Joya disappeared? That time everyone got together to talk.
Lyria: Oh, I remember that! We sat around the kotatsu and talked things over together.
The crew was once involved in an incident concerning the Joya, a vessel that collected negative emotions called Kleshas from all across the skies.
At the time, (Captain) and the others gathered with the Divine Generals for a meeting to discuss the missing Joya.
Anila: You really helped us out that time. But that meeting was only for talking about the Joya.
Anila: And only the Divine Generals who've completed their duties recently were present at that meeting. This time, all of the Twelve Divine Generals will be there.
Vyrn: Whoa, everyone? But what exactly would you be doin' at this meeting?
Anila: As you already know, twelve temples were established following the end of the War, with someone at every temple in charge of monitoring the Astral Realm.
Vyrn: Yeah, I remember. Those people at the temples are who we call the Twelve Divine Generals, right?
Anila: Yes. Additionally, the Divine General serving as the year spirit also has the responsibility of driving away Kleshas at the end of the year.
Lyria: Being a Divine General doesn't sound like an easy job at all...
Anila: I suppose it'd be difficult if there was only one person... but luckily, there's twelve of us. We split the work, so it's not so tough.
Anila: That said, the temples stand at different places, and the history behind each one is also different.
Anila: So much so that each one of us twelve has taken on different roles at the temples throughout the ages.
Anila: Still, we communicate and inform each other about the Astral Realm and Kleshas in order to protect the skies, and in times of need, we work together to fight off the danger.
Anila: Thus it's important for us to gather from time to time and get acquainted with one another in preparation for when the time comes.
Vyrn: Gotcha! That's why you guys hold these meetings, huh?
Anila: Yes. As for the location of the assembly this time... Actually, Friday and I have been corresponding through letters, you see.
Vyrn: Wait, what does this have anythin' to do with Miss SHRIMP?
Anila: At first, it was Vajra who kept in touch with her.
Anila: Friday would send letters filled with advice on how to enrich life, or notes on new potential projects she'd come up with. Lots of letters.
Anila: When Vajra happened to mention the Divine Generals Assembly, she received an unexpected reply almost immediately.
Anila: And in it, Friday offered to host the assembly at a hotel she runs.
Lyria: Ooh... Um, is Friday the manager of a hotel now?
Vyrn: There's just no keepin' up with her, huh? Well I guess she did say she was goin' on some journey to try somethin' new...
Anila takes out the letter from Friday and scans it.
Anila: I'm not sure about the details either, but she says it's a relaxation facility to cure one's everyday fatigue.
Anila: The facility is called... the "Alohas Super Resort."
Vyrn: What's super now?
Anila: The Alohas Super Resort. It's a large facility that includes an extravagant hotel, complete with guest rooms and meeting spaces.
The Divine General turns her gaze back to the letter.
Anila: "The finest indoor vacation in these skies, that puts even Auguste to shame"... It certainly sounds impressive.
Lyria: Even... Auguste?
Anila: Mm-hm. She says here that it's the ideal place for a workation.
Vyrn & Lyria: "Workation"?
Anila: Apparently, a workation is when you take a holiday while still continuing to work.
Vyrn: Take a holiday while working... What does that even mean? It's kinda hard to picture.
Vyrn: But I gotta say, a leisure facility sounds pretty sweet to me!
Lyria: Yeah! I'm sure it's a nice place, just like Auguste!
Anila: Now, now. No matter how amazing the facilities may be, the purpose of this trip is the meeting.
Anila: Besides, your next job looks like it's going to be a rather demanding one.
Vyrn: Hm? Yeah, I guess so. We got the request from the Knickknack Shack—it ain't gonna be a piece of cake, that's for sure.
Anila: All of you will be hard at work, so we Divine Generals can't afford to rest either. We need to approach this meeting in a serious manner.
Vyrn: Sheesh, you Divine Generals just never know when to take a break, do ya?
Vyrn: But I guess that's what makes you guys so dependable!
Anila: Oh? Is that how you think of us?
Lyria: Yes! We really respect all of you!
Anila: Hee-hee, I do enjoy the compliments. Leave it to us to keep the skies safe for every generation!
Anila puffs out her chest, proud of her duty as one of the Twelve Divine Generals.
The Grandcypher sails across the sky to escort the Divine Generals to their next destination—the Alohas Super Resort.

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 1: Encounters and Discoveries - Episode 1

Anila, Andira, Mahira, Vajra, Kumbhira, Vikala, and Catura all arrive at the Alohas Super Resort, where they are reunited with Friday. Friday informs them that the other Divine Generals had sent letters stating their absence, leaving only the seven girls to hold the meeting. They are introduced to Tiare, a friendly hotelkeeper who will be in charge of their stay.

After parting with (Captain) and the crew at the port, the Divine Generals head to the location written in Friday's letter.
They soon catch sight of a large establishment looming in the distance. Upon entering the building, they are greeted by a boisterous Friday.
However, their reunion comes with surprising news.
Anila: What! Absent?
Friday hands them a stack of letters from the other Divine Generals, each stating their inability to attend the meeting.
Friday: They sent the letters directly here, but as it wasn't my place to open them, I had no idea they were letters of absence...
Friday: If only I'd known! I should have at least tried holding the letters up to the light to see what was inside. Then I could've notified you...
Vajra: Nah, the meeting has to happen anyway, so it wouldn't have made a big difference.
Kumbhira: Nothing we can do now, Anila. I'm sure the others have their reasons, so let's just do our best with what we have.
Anila: Right... I was hoping we'd have everyone here, but it can't be helped.
Vikala: Anyway, it's been a long time, Friday! How've ya been?
Friday: Good! I'm glad to see that all of you are doing well too! How are (Captain) and the others?
Andira: They're doing great too! They said to give you their regards.
Friday: Oh my! That's wonderful to hear!
Friday: I wanted to show Alohas to (Captain) too...
Friday: I'm sure they were worried for me when I suddenly told them I wanted to go off on my own.
Friday: I would've loved to hear what (Captain) thought about the premium monument that Alohas so proudly houses.
The others follow Friday's gaze to a giant statue of a FRIED SHRIMP standing in the center of the lobby.
Friday: The spirit of Premium Friday will never perish—it lives on, only in a different form. This monument is proof of that!
Mahira: Come to think of it... This is your first time meeting Friday, isn't it, Catura?
Catura: Yes. Nice to meet you... I'm Catura, keeper of... the Ox Temple.
Friday: Nice to meet you. I'm Friday! My mission is to provide the best relaxation in order to enrich everyone's lives!
Friday: It truly is an honor to meet the current year spirit!
Gran is the Main Character

Friday: (Captain) has helped me out countless times in the past. He's someone who understands me very well!
Djeeta is the Main Character

Friday: (Captain) has helped me out countless times in the past. She's someone who understands me very well!
Catura: Prince Charming... helped you?
Friday: Excuse me? Prince Charming?
Mahira: Catura had been looking for her prince for a long time, you see. And that "prince" happened to be (Captain).
Friday: Ah, wouldn't expect any less of (Captain)! A true superstar!
Catura: Um, Friday... What did you mean by (Captain)... understanding you very well?
Catura: Could it be that we're rivals... in love?
Kumbhira: Uh... I'm pretty sure that's not what she meant, so don't worry too much about it, okay?
While Kumbhira tries to calm Catura down, Andira turns her head left and right, goggling at their surroundings.
Andira: This place is huuuge... What's it called again? The super...
Friday: The Alohas Super Resort!
Friday: You can see it as another method of enriching people's lives that's slightly different from Premium Friday!
Vikala: You're amazing, Friday! I can't believe you managed to build a place this big!
Anila: I'm afraid I still don't understand what she's getting at...
Mahira: Well, that's Friday for you.
Mahira: What I'm more impressed by is how she can manage a facility as big as this so smoothly. I want to know more about how she does it.
While Friday and the Divine Generals are deep in conversation, a young woman peers over from the counter.
???: Director! Is that the group scheduled to arrive today?
Friday: Yes, let me introduce you!
Friday turns back to her guests.
Friday: This is Tiare, one of our hotelkeepers. She'll be managing your stay and making sure you're comfortable during your time here.
Tiare: Aloha! Thank you very much for coming! My name is Tiare, and I'm here to ensure you have an enjoyable time at Alohas!
Kumbhira: What do you mean by managing our stay?
Friday: Since all of you are VIPs, I've arranged for Tiare to be your exclusive concierge!
Friday: Please let her know if there's anything you need over the duration of your stay!
Tiare: I'm at your service, wherever and whenever!
The Divine Generals gape at the energetic hotelkeeper, unsure of how to react.
Kumbhira: Having our own concierge is pretty fancy... I'm not sure we need—
Friday: Oh, don't worry about it! After all that you've helped me with in the past, this is the least I could do in return!
Tiare: Have you known each other for a long time, Director?
Friday: Our guests this time are none other than the Divine Generals themselves. How we met is a long story...
Tiare: Th-the Divine Generals! You mean... these girls are...
Friday: That's right! So make sure you show them the best hospitality we can afford, all right?
Friday: They came today under my personal invitation.
Tiare: Oh, wow! I knew you were amazing, Director, but who would've thought that you'd even be acquainted with the Divine Generals...
Anila: Hee-hee. I suppose we should introduce ourselves as well. Let's start with Vikala!
Vikala: Yes, ma'am! The Divine Rat and Guardian of the North, Vikala—at your service!
Catura: I'm the Divine Ox... and Guardian of the North-Northeast... Catura.
Anila: And from way on the other side... It's the Divine Sheep and Guardian of the South-Southwest, Anila!
Andira: The Divine Monkey and Guardian of the West-Southwest, Andira here!
Mahira: I'm the Divine Rooster and Guardian of the West, Mahira. Pleased to make your acquaintance.
Vajra: The Divine Canine and Guardian of the West-Northwest, Vajra!
Kumbhira: And I'm the Divine Boar and Guardian of the North-Northwest, Kumbhira!
Vajra: Together, the seven of us make...
The Six: ...!
The Six: *a&#wj%$e@+!
Surprised by the sudden spotlight thrown on them, the six struggle to find an appropriate response, resulting in an incoherent cacophony.
Vajra: Ahahaha! Sorry I surprised you!
Vajra: I happened to find a picture book on the ship the other day and wanted to try out a line from it!
Vajra: It was a story about... some kind of rangers.
Vajra: But I guess it doesn't go that smoothly in reality, huh?
Mahira: Of course. What did you expect?
Andira: It was way too sudden...
Vikala: You gotta tell us these things in advance!
Catura: Oh, good... I thought I was missing something...
Kumbhira: Plus, we don't even have everyone here.
Vajra: Ahaha! Sorry about that!
The lobby is filled with their bickering and laughter.
Tiare: Pff... Ahahaha! All of you are so great! Ahahahaha!
Tiare: Hehe. I never knew the Divine Generals were so funny! I promise I'll do my very best to make sure you have a good time here.
Anila: Ahem... We appreciate your kind service, but just to be clear—all of us are here to attend an important assembly.
Tiare: An assembly?

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 1: Encounters and Discoveries - Episode 2

Tiare shows the Divine Generals to a meeting room; however, they soon realize that Mahira has disappeared. After searching for some time, the others find Mahira in the resort's control room examining its variety of equipment. Together, they return to the meeting room and settle down to start the assembly when they notice that Vajra is nowhere in sight.

The spacious meeting room Tiare takes them to is the definition of luxury.
Tiare: You're here at a resort. Are you sure you just wanna have a meeting?
Kumbhira: It is what we came here for in the first place.
Tiare: Down to business, are we...
Vikala: By the way, what's Friday up to right now?
Tiare: A lot, I presume. The director always has work that only she can do.
Tiare: Alohas is a place built to help guests relax, but the director is always busy making sure the staff don't overwork themselves to make that happen either.
Tiare: I'm just happy to be able to work here. I wish there was more I could do to lessen the director's burden.
Vajra: Friday never changes, huh?
Tiare: Is there anything you need? Give the word and it will be arranged! How about starting off with some beverages?
Andira: Thank you very much, Tiare. But for now, we'd like to focus on our meeting...
Tiare: Oh, okay...
Tiare's shoulders sag with disappointment. Noticing this, Anila slowly puts up her hand.
Anila: This isn't really a request but... can I ask you something?
Tiare: What's that, a question? Ask me anything!
Anila: What does "aloha" mean? You said it when we met earlier, and it's also in the name of this resort...
Tiare: Ooh, good question! Actually, the resort was built with the concept of a certain island from ancient times in mind.
Catura: A certain island?
Tiare: The island supposedly had a beautiful, blue and sparkling waterfront with vivid flowers in bloom.
Tiare: Not too different from Auguste, I'd imagine.
Kumbhira: Ooh, I didn't know there were other islands like that!
Tiare: Apparently, "aloha" was a word commonly used on that island. It's hard to explain it simply.
Tiare: You can say it as an everyday greeting, but you can also use it to show gratitude, love, compassion, respect...
Tiare: I guess, overall, it's something that expresses amity and goodwill.
Catura: Wow... What a wonderful word!
Kumbhira: But if it has so many meanings, doesn't that make it hard to know when to use it?
Tiare: Not at all! You don't have to think so hard about it!
Tiare: The director took LOHAS—Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability—and put it together with "aloha" to create a relaxing-sounding name for this establishment!
Tiare: Why don't you try using it with the friends around you? I'm sure you'll get used to it!
Tiare: Anyway, I'll take my leave here. Aloha!
Tiare exits the room, leaving the Divine Generals to their meeting.
Anila: Hm... Then let's begin the assembly, shall we?
Catura: Huh...
Kumbhira: What's wrong, Catura?
Catura: Where's... Mahira?
Andira: Wha?
The six of them look around the room, but as Catura pointed out, Mahira is nowhere to be found.
Andira: Wait, Catura's right... Mahira isn't here.
Vikala: Now that I think about it, she's been missing for a while, hasn't she?
Anila: I'm pretty sure she was still with us at the lobby... Where could she have gone?
Kumbhira: Could it be that... she's lost?
Vajra: We gotta go find Mahi! What if she's stuck somewhere, scared and alone?
The Divine Generals rush out of the room to begin their search for Mahira.
Meanwhile, somewhere else in the facility...
Tiare: Er... Having fun there, Mahira?
Mahira: I see... So they monitor the lamps, water drainage, and air conditioning all here centrally.
Mahira: Fascinating... What a lucky opportunity to be able to see the control room of a facility as enormous as this.
Mahira: In the case of a breakdown, you can immediately see where the malfunction is happening within the building.
Tiare: Um, Mahira?
Mahira: Hm... Looking at the meter readings, it seems a significant amount of water is being stored here.
Tiare: Huh? Oh, well, yes... After all, we have—
Kumbhira: Ah! There you are!
Mahira: Oh, Kumbhira.
Kumbhira: Geez... Mahira, remember what we came here for?
Mahira: Oh, I'm sorry. I got too absorbed... I'd only intended to take a quick look.
Tiare: Ahaha... Sorry about that. She told me she wanted to check out the different devices installed within our facility, so I brought her here.
Kumbhira: No, I should be the one to apologize. Mahira just can't stop herself when it comes to machinery...
Mahira: Thank you, Tiare. It was a time well-spent.
Tiare: You're welcome! Though I hope you can enjoy what we have out where everyone is too, not just behind the scenes.
Mahira: All right. I'll make an effort to do so.
Kumbhira: Let's head back then, shall we?
Though reluctant, Mahira follows Kumbhira out as they head back to the meeting room.
Catura: Oh, mooey... Mahira, we were worried. But... I'm glad you're safe.
Mahira: I'm sorry, Catura. I was too caught up. This place is more interesting than I'd expected.
Anila: Now then, let's start the assembly for real this time. We have a lot on our agenda to discuss.
Andira: Wait. Rara's not back yet.
Vikala: Hm? I remember her being there when we went out to look for Mahira...
Mahira: Was she? Then maybe she's still running around the hotel looking for me right now.
Kumbhira: Hrm... With a building as big as this, it's possible that she got lost somewhere.
Mahira: I'm sorry. I'll go find Vajra, since I was the one who caused this in the first place.
Anila: No, we'll all go. If we go off on our own, we might get separated again.
The Divine Generals stand up once again and file out of the room to look for their friend.

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 1: Encounters and Discoveries - Episode 3

The others find Vajra at a pool outside. Vajra explains that she had followed the puppies intending to stop them, but ended up joining them for some fun in the water. The Divine Generals decide to put the meeting off until the next day and spend the rest of the day relaxing at the pool.

Catura: No sign of Vajra anywhere... Do you think she went... outside?
Anila: I don't know if she'd go so far as to look outside...
Anila: By the way, Catura. How's your first time serving as year spirit? Think you can follow in your mother's footsteps?
Catura: Yep... I'm doing my best! And besides... I have (Captain) now.
Catura: Moohoohoo! Now all that's left... is to marry (Captain)... and start a nice family, just like Mama.
Anila: I-I see... I can really feel your determination.
Anila: If you ever find yourself in trouble, just let me know, okay? I'll do what I can to help you.
Catura: Thank you, Anila... That's very kind of you!
Kumbhira: Hehe. It's not just Anila—there's me and everyone else too. All of us are here to lend a hand as fellow Divine Generals.
Anila: Hehe, Kumbhira's right. We're all here to help you!
Kumbhira: You can talk about anything with me, Catura!
Catura: Okay! Then... can I talk about (Captain)... with you next time?
Kumbhira: Huh? (Captain)?
Kumbhira: Um, sure. Of course!
Catura: Yaaay. I have a lot... I want to ask!
Kumbhira: (Oh dear... What did I just sign myself up for?)
Anila: In any case, let's focus on making the Divine Generals Assembly happen first!
Kumbhira: R-right! We'll find Vajra and get the meeting started!
Andira: Hey, I found Rara! This way, everyone!
Anila: Oh, good! Come on, let's go make sure she's okay.
Anila and the others follow Andira to a different location.
Vajra: Ahahaha! You got me!
Vajra: But I'm gonna get you back! Take this!
Puppies: Woof, woof!
Garjana: ...
The others find Vajra in a shallow pool, frolicking around with her puppies.
Vajra: Having fun? Good, good! Ahahaha—
Vajra: Ha?
The Six: ...
Mahira: Vajra...
Vajra: U-um, this isn't what it looks like...
Andira: Oh? What is it then, Rara?
Vajra: S-since the Divine Generals Assembly is really important, I thought it'd be good to bring the three puppies along this time so they could learn...
Vajra: But the moment they saw the pool, they just took off... Gar and I tried to stop them—
Anila: Is that right? It certainly didn't seem that way to me.
Vajra: Eep!
Vajra: (G-Gar! Anila's really scary when she gets mad...)
Garjana: ...
Kumbhira: O-oh well, we did just get here! Why don't we have the meeting tomorrow instead?
Mahira: Tomorrow?
Kumbhira: Yeah! It's already getting late, so it wouldn't make too much of a difference if we pushed the assembly to tomorrow.
Vikala: Kumbhira's right! Besides, who can say no when we have this gorgeous pool right in front of us?
They look around the indoor pool area and see other guests lounging and playing in the water.
Catura: The pool's so big... It looks nice...
Mahira: I knew from looking at the control room that they stored a vast amount of water at the facility, but I had no idea it was for a pool of this size...
Andira: Hey, you know...
Andira hesitates before glancing at the other Divine Generals.
Kumbhira: What's the matter, Andira?
Andira: Actually, I did bring my swimsuit with me...
The Six: ...
Vikala: Haha! Well, that's a coincidence. As a matter of fact, so did I!
Andira: Huh? Really?
Kumbhira: To be honest... I brought mine too.
Vajra: What's that? Swimsuits? I have mine with me too.
Mahira: I packed mine as well, just in case.
Catura: Me too...
Anila: What! Why do all of you have your swimsuits with you?
Kumbhira: Ahaha... I mean, the letter we got did compare this place to Auguste...
Vikala: Right! It was just screaming for us to bring our swimming gear!
Anila: Ergh... I won't deny that it feels like we're on vacation here, but remember that the real objective of this trip is our assembly.
Mahira: You're right of course, Anila. So does that mean you don't have your swimsuit with you?
Anila: ...
Anila: I never said that.
The Six: She totally brought hers too...

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 1: Encounters and Discoveries - Episode 4

While everyone is enjoying their time at the pool, Anila feels guilty for having fun when (Captain) and the crew are hard at work. But Kumbhira reminds her that this is a workation, which means they're supposed to relax. Somewhat relieved, Anila joins the others in trying out the various water attractions.

Laughter rings out from a corner of the resort's colossal pool.
Andira: Take this!
Vajra: Bwah!
Vajra: Ahahaha! It's nice being able to swim around in such a warm place, even though it's so cold outside!
Andira: Heheh. I never imagined that we'd have a chance to play at a pool together like this!
Vajra: Same here! It's all thanks to Friday for inviting us here!
Drifting lazily atop a pool float, Mahira and Catura watch as Andira and Vajra continue splashing water at each other.
Mahira: I wonder how they get the water flowing through this "lazy river"...
Mahira's curious gaze follows the course of the water attraction, noticing how the strip of water extends to the far end of the pool area and back around.
Mahira: They must be using a propeller somewhere to move the current, unless they've invented an entirely new method...
Catura: Up and down, up and down... All this bobbing in the water... is making me sleepy... We've already looped once around...
Mahira: Hehe. It's dangerous to fall asleep in the water, Catura.
Catura: I know, but... it just feels so nice...
Moomoo: Moooo...
Catura: Are you sleepy too, Moomoo?
Mahira: I know what you mean though. It's almost as relaxing as a warm kotatsu in the winter.
Mahira: Ooh, wouldn't it be wonderful if we could drift like this while sitting at a kotatsu?
Catura: A kotatsu... That would be lovely. Warm and fuzzy... while bobbing up and down... with (Captain)...
The Divine General Catura has harbored an undying love for romantic illustrated books ever since she was a young girl.
The day she met (Captain) and the crew, she knew immediately that (Captain) was the fated prince she had been longing for.
Catura: I've been waiting for you... My one and only... prince...
Catura: Please... Please marry me!
Since then, Catura has been traveling with (Captain), in hopes of learning how to become a dependable partner for the captain—and enjoying her self-described honeymoon.
Mahira: Hehe. You really love (Captain), don't you?
Catura: Moohoohoo!
As Mahira and Catura drift into a dreamy state, their floats make another round down the river.
Anila smiles to herself as she watches from the edge of the pool.
Anila: Hee-hee. I didn't think we'd have so much fun here!
Anila: But while we're enjoying ourselves at a resort, (Captain) and the others are out there working hard...
Anila is lost in thought when, all of a sudden, something bursts out from an opening a slight ways behind her.
Vikala: Woohoo!
Kumbhira: Eeeek!
Anila: Blargh!
Vikala and Kumbhira slide into the pool with great momentum, creating a gigantic splash that gets Anila soaked.
Kumbhira: Huh? Oops, did we get you wet, Anila?
Anila: Cough, cough... Nnngh, the water went up my nose...
Anila: What in the skies was that? Where did the two of you come from?
Vikala: We went on this ride called a water slide! See?
Anila: Ahaha... I was wondering why there was a hole here. So it was an attraction!
Anila: By the way, Vikala. You're missing your rat ears.
Vikala: Huh... Huh? Oh no, th-they must've flown off when we charged into the pool...
Vikala: I-I-I gotta find them... I c-can't... go without my ears...
Vikala wades back to the water slide to search for her precious ears.
Kumbhira: What were you doing, Anila?
Anila: Nothing in particular. I was just thinking about (Captain)... The crew's off to see their next client, aren't they?
Anila: I feel kind of bad for having fun while they're hard at work.
Kumbhira: Yeah... I know what you're getting at. But we're going to really get down to work at the assembly tomorrow—that's what we decided earlier, right?
Anila: Yes... Maybe I'm just not used to taking time to refresh myself like this.
Kumbhira: Hm, I guess you do have a stubborn side. But you know—
Vajra: Hey, what was that just now? How'd you rush into the pool so fast?
Andira: Wow, it's a slide! A slide attached to a pool? I wanna give it a try too!
Mahira: Me too, it's very intriguing. I wonder how they went about designing this.
The others gather around the base of the water slide after seeing Vikala and Kumbhira come out of it.
Catura: Wow... A real water slide...
Mahira: You know about this apparatus, Catura?
Catura: Yeah. It's a classic date spot... in the illustrated books...
Catura: Um, you have to be careful... not to hit the water too hard... Otherwise, your swimsuit might get undone...
Mahira: I see... Then we'll need to think of a way to slide so that our swimsuits remain intact.
Vikala: All right, come on, everyone! Let's get sliding!
Kumbhira: Hehe. Everyone seems to be having a good time, so let's cut them some slack.
Kumbhira: What was it again... A workation? Half of our time's supposed to be spent relaxing, right?
Anila: Hee-hee. A workation, huh? So that's what this is.
Anila: I suppose it is a rare chance for all of the Divine Generals to enjoy some time together.
Anila: Okay! Then I guess I'll try out the water slide and other attractions too!
Kumbhira: Yeah, let's go!
With the assembly postponed, the Divine Generals spend the rest of the day unwinding at the resort.
They savor their time off as they prepare themselves for the following day.

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 2: Carefree and Frizz-Free - Episode 1

The morning of the second day, Anila bumps into Tiare in the hotel lobby. After spending the previous day having fun, Anila explains that the Divine Generals Assembly must be held today as it is part of their duty. Despite Anila's determination, however, Tiare insists on showing the Divine Sheep the real way to enjoy Alohas.

At the Alohas Super Resort, the Divine Generals postpone their assembly to the next day and spend their arrival day taking advantage of the resort's facilities.
After a night's sleep, Anila is in the hotel lobby the very next morning, thinking about their previous day.
Anila: Yaaawn...
Anila: Hngh... How I wish I could go back to bed... But we have lots to accomplish today, so that wouldn't do.
Tiare: Gooood morning!
Anila: Oh, hello, Tiare. You're looking lively this morning.
Tiare: Did you and everyone else have a good night's sleep?
Anila: Yes, it was perfect. The sleepwear is so soft and gentle on the skin.
Tiare: Ah, the muumuu! It was originally a kind of formal dress, but we altered it so guests can use it as indoor wear at Alohas.
Anila: So that's what it's called... A muumuu. All of us liked how loose and comfortable it was.
Tiare: I'm glad to hear! Though, you're still looking quite sleepy there, Anila... You're free to lounge around as much as you like, you know?
Anila: Oh, I'll be fine. It's just that things got quite rowdy in our room last night, even after our time at the pool.
Andira makes clones of herself, all of which brandish a fluffy pillow in one hand, ready to throw at a moment's notice.
Andira: Here I go!
Andira: Take this!
Vajra: Ack!
Mahira: Hah!
Vajra takes a pillow to her face, while Mahira manages to dodge another just in time.
Vajra: Ow, that hurt... Using your clones isn't fair, Andie!
Andira: Heh heh! There's no rule against cloning, is there?
Mahira: Vajra, if you look closely, there may be several Andies, but she only threw two pillows.
Andira: Good job noticing, Mahi! But the pillow touched your hair when you dodged it.
Mahira: Hair doesn't count as hitting the target.
Andira: What! You're kidding me!
Anila: They continued until quite late into the night.
Tiare: Ahaha! That's a relief—after all, we want you to have as much fun as you can during your stay! If you like, I can even arrange for more pillows to be sent to your room.
Anila: No, the fun was only for yesterday. We've agreed to have our meeting today.
Tiare: Hmm... Why are you so intent on having your meeting? It doesn't hurt to take a break sometimes.
Anila: It is our obligation as the Twelve Divine Generals. We must keep a close watch on the Astral Realm and purge Kleshas at any given notice.
Anila: One wrong step from us, and the skies would be left vulnerable to immense destruction.
Anila: We were chosen to act as guardians so that this danger does not arise—and even if it were to happen, we would be there to fight it off.
Tiare: Chosen, huh...
Anila: Well, each chosen guardian has other duties particular to their own temples as well, whether it be dancing, holding parades, or delivering fresh milk.
Anila: We've taken turns every year to serve as the year spirit. Such is the history of the Twelve Divine Generals and our quest of protecting the peace in these skies.
Anila: We need to make sure that this history doesn't end with our generation. And holding the assembly is part of that duty.
Tiare: Is that right...
Anila: In any case, I should get back to our room. I'll need to change before heading to the meeting.
Tiare: Hooold up!
Tiare reaches out and grabs Anila's arm.
Anila: W-wha... The meeting, it's—
Tiare: Thank you for telling me about the Twelve Divine Generals!
Tiare: In return, I'll teach you the proper way to enjoy Alohas in full detail! Come with me, Anila!
Anila: H-hey, stop pulling! Let me go!
Tiare keeps a firm grip on Anila's arm as she tugs the indignant sheep guardian down the hall.

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 2: Carefree and Frizz-Free - Episode 2

Anila shows up at the meeting room late, and the others are shocked to see that her fluffy hair is now straight and silky. Curious about the shampooing and head massage Anila tells them about, the others are unable to resist Tiare's invitation and make a visit to the salon themselves.

Vikala: Hmm, Anila sure is late.
Kumbhira: I checked our room, but she wasn't there. Her clothes were still hanging too, so it doesn't seem like she's changed yet either.
Vajra: She was so intent on getting down to the meeting yesterday too. Did something happen?
Mahira: It's not like Anila to back down so suddenly. Let's wait a little longer.
The other Divine Generals sit in the meeting room as they wait for Anila's arrival.
Not long after...
???: Oh dear, sorry about that. A few things came up and took longer than I'd expected...
Andira: Ooh, there you are! Geez, you sure took your time! What were you... doing...
Anila: Well then! Let's get the meeting started, shall we?
The Six: Who are you!
Someone resembling Anila stands in front of them, though this person is missing one of Anila's key distinguishing features.
Anila: What do you mean, who am I... I'm the Divine Sheep and Guardian of the South-Southwest, Ani—
Kumbhira: Anila? Is that really you?
Catura: Wow! Did you... change your style? Your hair's so smooth...
Vikala: Yeah, it's so sleek and straight, I thought you were Cassius for a second.
Anila: Ergh... So you noticed...
Vikala: How could we not! What happened to the Anila we all adore, with the nice, fluffy hair? That was your trademark!
Anila: I'm not sure about it being my trademark necessarily...
The Divine Generals continue to gape at Anila, whose once-wavy hair now cascades, like a waterfall, straight down.
Vajra: Well, but...
Vajra: You look super cute like this too, Anila!
Anila: Y-you think so?
Kumbhira: Yeah. You just surprised us, that's all.
Mahira: Right. This is nice too.
Vikala: But what in the skies did you do to look like that?
Tiare: Allow me to explain!
Tiare flings the door wide open and steps into the room.
Tiare: I took Anila to get a nice scalp massage, you see!
Catura: Scalp... massage?
Tiare: That's right! It's a special service available at Alohas where we shampoo your hair and massage your head at the same time.
Andira: And this special service can make anyone's hair all smooth and shiny like Anila's?
Tiare: Not necessarily—Anila's results are especially amazing. After applying some hair oil, I was surprised to see it so silky!
Kumbhira: So it doesn't work for everyone...
Tiare: Oh, but it feels reeeally good! Right, Anila?
Anila: Y-yeah. It was just... just...
Catura: Just?
Anila: Just sooo satisfying!
The Six: ...!
Anila: It felt like I was in a dream... My head was getting massaged in all the right places, and my hair washed so thoroughly...
Anila: Now it feels so fresh and light. I never knew something so comfortable existed in these skies...
Vajra: Whoa, if it made Anila talk about it like this...
Vajra: Me too! I wanna give it a try too!
Tiare: Hah, I was waiting for you to say that! All right, then let's get everyone changed into muumuus!
Kumbhira: Huh! Um, but, our meeting...
Tiare: It'll be fiiine! Divine Generals have to look their best while doing their jobs too!
Kumbhira: What? I never heard anything about that!
At Tiare's insistence, the rest of the Divine Generals get changed once more and proceed to the spa area.

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 2: Carefree and Frizz-Free - Episode 3

Though hesitant at first, the divine guardians soon discover the delights of the salon. After undergoing a full-course beauty treatment, they make to start the meeting again in the evening, but are advised by Tiare to complete their beauty course with a nice soak in the hot springs instead.

Several women dressed in neat uniforms await the Divine Generals at a place called the salon.
Tiare: Now! Who'd like to go first?
The Generals sweep their gazes around the unfamiliar surroundings, feeling timid.
Anila: Let's see... Kumbhira, how about you?
Kumbhira: Huh! Oh, I'm fine, really...
Tiare: Don't worry! It's not scary at all!
Kumbhira: But...
The nervous Kumbhira is led to a basin to try out the highly acclaimed scalp massage.
Kumbhira: Siiigh... Ahh!
In the warm and steamy room, a sigh escapes Kumbhira as her head is thoroughly massaged with a gentle foam.
Anila: How is it?
Kumbhira: It feels so nice... Aah, I can't take it anymore... This is too good...
Vajra: Is it that good?
Vikala: E-even Kumbhira is enjoying it... I-I-I wonder what this... scalp massage... f-feels like...
Anila: Hee-hee! Then we'll need to have you try too, Vikala!
Vikala: Huh? O-oh, no, I'm... Well... I am a little interested...
Tiare: Then that settles it! Come on, Vikala. You're next!
Tiare: Wait a minute. You look kinda... different than when I last saw you.
Vikala: Oh, yeah... I get that a lot...
Vikala: Aaah!
Vajra: H-how's it going, Vicky? Enjoying yourself?
Vikala: Y-yes, it's... u-um... really, really... Oh, I... Aaah...
Catura: We can't understand... what you're saying, Vikala...
Tiare: Oh yes, it feels so good that it just can't be put into words! Especially when it's your first time experiencing it.
Tiare: But this isn't all! You'll be getting a full-course beauty treatment at the salon!
Anila: Oh my... What does a full course involve?
Tiare: You'll be sparkling from head to toe! People will be swooning for you left and right!
Catura: Is that true? Even... (Captain)?
Tiare: Ooh, you have a particular someone in mind, huh? Yep, I guarantee the new you will be the center of their attention!
Catura: Wow... Then I want to try too!
Vajra: And me! It looks really comfy!
Mahira: Then I'd like to give it a try too, please.
Andira: If everyone's doing it, then I am too!
The Divine Generals relish their time at the salon as Tiare takes them through a relaxing, full-course beauty treatment.
Kumbhira: Mmm... Your hair smells so nice, Vikala!
Vikala: Yours does too, Kumbhira... Y-your hair smells like a field of flowers...
Vajra: Yeah! This really puts you in a good mood, huh?
Mahira: I feel clean and refreshed. What a wonderful invention.
Anila: Oh dear, but it seems to have taken quite a lot of time...
Anila: Although it is partly my fault this time.
Mahira: The sun is about to set, and we still haven't held the assembly yet.
Andira: We just gotta work harder than ever starting now!
Kumbhira: Andira's right. We've had plenty of time to enjoy ourselves, so it's time to really get down to business.
Vajra: Yeah!
Having thoroughly savored their time at the spa, the Divine Generals are more determined than ever to carry out a productive assembly.
Tiare: All of you look absolutely fantastic! Hope everyone enjoyed the beauty treatment!
Catura: It smells nice... when I twirl around...
Catura: Moohoohoo! I hope... I look okay...
Tiare: Of course you do! That person you're thinking of will be head over heels for you!
Tiare: Now all that's left is to have a nice, long soak in the hot springs! The water is infused with a lot of ingredients proven to be beneficial for the skin!
At Tiare's promising wink, the Divine Generals widen their eyes.
Vikala: You mean... th-there are hot springs here?
Tiare: Huh? Don't tell me you didn't have a soak before bed last night...
Anila: We didn't know... We just used the bathtub in our room yesterday.
Tiare: What a waste! Goodness, I'm sorry. I should have told you!
Tiare: But since the massage's gotten your blood circulating, now is the best time to hit the hot springs!
Tiare: You can detox just by sweating from a steamy bath!
Tiare: The hot springs are another one of our selling points. Everything's open air! Completely outdoors!
Anila: Unfortunately, we need to get started with our meeting after this.
Vajra: Yeah. It's too bad, but...
Feeling a piercing gaze on their backs, Vajra and Anila turn to see Kumbhira and Andira staring at them with pleading eyes.
Andira: Hnnngh...
Kumbhira: U-um...
Vajra: What's the matter with the both of you? Do you have a stomachache?
Andira: The...
Vajra: The?
Andira: The hot springs... I wanna go!
Kumbhira: Me too. It shouldn't take too long, and it'd be a waste not to, so... wh-what do you think?
The two glance at the others, itching to go check out the hot spring facilities.
Anila: You were so motivated to get our meeting started just a moment ago... Where did that go?
Kumbhira: B-but it's the hot springs... We almost never have the chance to soak in one.
Andira: Please! I really want all of us to enjoy the hot springs together!
Catura: So it's either... having a meeting together, or... soaking in the bath together...
Mahira: We couldn't have our assembly yesterday, so we do have a lot left to discuss.
Anila: Exactly! Going to the hot springs is out of the question!
Kumbhira: Ooh... I guess you're right...
Andira: No way around it, huh...
Vajra: Anila's right! It's tempting, but we gotta hold back and do what we have to do first!

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 2: Carefree and Frizz-Free - Episode 4

The girls give in to the temptation and savor their time at the hot springs. Unable to bring themselves to start the assembly, they decide to postpone the meeting again to the next day as they drift off into a warm state of bliss.

Kumbhira: Aaah...
Andira: Whew...
The Five: Sigh...
With no other guests using the hot springs, the Divine Generals have the entire facility to themselves.
Kumbhira: Here we are, at the bath...
Anila: Yes, here we are... The bath...
Catura: I'm glad we're here... at the bath...
Andira: I love soaking in a hot bath... It's so calm and relaxing...
Mahira: Yeah. It's really warm in here.
Vajra: And so spacious! I'm gonna check out what's over there!
Vikala: Ack... Bwargh!
Vajra: Oh no, sorry about that, Vicky! You okay?
Vikala: Y-yes, I'm fine...
Mahira: Vajra, just because there aren't any other visitors here doesn't mean you can kick around like that.
Vajra: Okay, I'll doggy paddle quietly then!
Kumbhira: Sigh... This feels so nice... It's the perfect way to unwind.
Anila: Yes. The hot temperature of the water and the cool air make a wonderful balance...
Andira: I never thought we'd get to soak in a large bath like this... I'm so happy.
Catura: You and Kumbhira... sure love the hot springs...
Andira: How are you liking it, Catura?
Catura: Moohoohoo! It feels really nice... I almost wish we could... have a hot spring back at the ranch...
Andira: Huh? A hot spring... at a ranch?
Catura: Ahh... The water's just right...
Anila: A ranch with a hot spring certainly sounds sophisticated. I'm sure Catura's mother would love the idea.
Vikala: C-Catura's ranch is really big... and so peaceful... It's perfect for a hot spring.
Andira: Oh, that's right! You visited the ranch to pass on your year spirit duties, didn't you, Vikala? What did you think?
Vikala: U-um, well... There was a lot of space... and a lot of cows... who took my rat ears...
Andira: O-oh...
Kumbhira: Hehe. You can give us a report about passing on your duties at the meeting.
Mahira: Yeah. I'm very interested to hear what it's like at other temples.
Anila: Hm? The meeting?
Anila: ...!
That's right, the meeting!
Kumbhira: Oops, I completely forgot about it...
Andira: Calm down, Anila. We decided to enjoy the hot springs together, remember?
Anila: R-right. Sorry I got all flustered...
Anila: But we're definitely holding the assembly after we finish soaking, all right?
Kumbhira: Of course. That's why we came to Alohas in the first place.
Andira: Sure thing...
But the longer they enjoy the pleasantly heated bath, the fewer words they exchange.
Andira: Yaaawn...
Anila: Hm... I'm feeling a little...
Vikala: Me too... I'm feeling...
Vajra: Yeah, kinda like...
Catura: Kind of like I'm...
Kumbhira: Me too. Like I'm... sleepy...
Mahira: Yeah... The bath feels so nice that it's making me sleepy...
Andira: Anila...
Andira: Hey, Anila... Are you listening?
Anila: Mm... Did you say something?
Andira: You know, about the meeting... Why don't we have it... tomorrow?
Anila: Hmm... Yes... What do you think, Vajra?
Vajra: Tomorrow sounds good...
Anila: Okay... What about you, Vikala?
Vikala: Yes, I think tomorrow... sounds good...
Settling into a comfortable drowsiness, the Divine Generals agree that it is best to save the assembly for yet another day.
Anila: Alohas comes with many temptations... But tomorrow, for sure...
With the assembly postponed once again, the Divine Generals continue reveling in their relaxing evening at the hot springs.
They sigh in unison as they sink back into a warm and delightful state of bliss.

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 3: Splashes and Dances - Episode 1

On their third day at the resort, the Divine Generals are enjoying their time at the pool again when they suddenly remember that they have some unfinished duties. Despite it being past lunch time already, they decide to get to work and head for the changing room.

The seven Divine Generals are at the Alohas Super Resort to hold their regular Divine Generals Assembly.
However, distracted by the many enticing activities available at the resort, the divine guardians have yet to begin their meeting.
They wake on the third day, determined to follow through with their plans and hold the meeting once and for all.
Vajra: Ahahaha!
Vikala: Wheee!
Andira: Woohoo!
The three fly out from the water slide and plunge into the pool, creating a gigantic splash.
Vajra: Ahahaha! I'm gonna go on the water slide one more time!
Vikala: Good idea! I'll come with you!
Vajra: All right, then it's a race, Vicky!
Andira: I want in too!
Anila: Hey! Don't run near the pool!
Anila: Hee-hee. They're certainly in high spirits.
Catura: Up and down, up and down... The lazy river is now officially... one of my favorite places!
Kumbhira: ...
Anila: Is something wrong, Kumbhira?
Kumbhira: Oh, it's nothing... I just have this feeling we're forgetting something...
Anila: Hm... Didn't we have a similar conversation yesterday? Then we figured it was...
Anila & Kumbhira: The meeting!
Kumbhira: Oh no, we forgot again...
Anila: We made our way to the pool after breakfast without a second thought...
Kumbhira: And now we've finished lunch too...
After trying out the food stalls at the poolside for lunch, the Divine Generals had decided to continue relaxing in the area.
Catura: Up and down, up and down... It'd completely... slipped my mind...
Mahira: Mine too. I've always been absent-minded, but I was having so much fun I forgot...
Vajra: What's the matter, everyone?
Kumbhira: Oh, Vajra. We just realized we forgot all about the assembly...
Vajra: Ah!
Andira: Oh yeah, we still have to hold the meeting...
Vikala: U-um, has... h-has anyone... seen my ears?
Vajra: That was careless of me... The whole idea of having the meeting today just disappeared from my brain.
Anila: This isn't good... All this lounging around has turned us into lazy good-for-nothings.
Kumbhira: Save the groaning for after! Come on, let's get changed and head to the meeting room immediately!
Vajra: Right!
Vikala: Oh, my rat ears! I-I-I'm glad I found them...
Vikala: Hey, wait for me, everyone!
The others follow Kumbhira and hurry to the changing room to get ready.

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 3: Splashes and Dances - Episode 2

On their way to the changing room, the divine guardians meet Lantana, Tiare's childhood friend and one of Alohas's staff members. He tells them about the luau—a festival held for guests with food and music. Seeing Vajra's love for festivals, the girls decide to see what this event is for themselves.

Having remembered their real purpose for coming to the resort, the Divine Generals make a beeline for the changing room when they hear a voice from behind.
Lantana: Aloha!
Anila: Hm?
Lantana: Hello, everyone! Where are you all running off to on this fine day?
Kumbhira: Um... Do you work here?
Lantana: Indeed, I do! You must be the Divine Generals, correct? My name is Lantana. Very pleased to make your acquaintance!
Anila: Hello. Yes, we are the Divine Generals.
Lantana: I heard about you from Tiare—she and I grew up together in the same town, you see. I hope she hasn't been causing any trouble for you.
Vajra: Tiare's been taking very good care of us. You guys share the same hometown and workplace? The two of you must get along really well!
Lantana: Hahaha! We certainly do!
Lantana: Where might all of you be off to? Have you grown tired of the pool already?
Vikala: Never! If I could, I'd stay here at the pool forever! But we've got a bunch of things to do first!
Mahira: That's right. It's time we made our way back to our room.
At Mahira's words, the other Divine Generals take the cue and turn to leave.
Lantana: Goodness, what an incredible waste!
Catura: Hm? What... do you mean?
Lantana: What I'm saying is, you should enjoy Alohas to its fullest extent while you're here!
Anila: We've already taken out enough time to enjoy the pool, the massage, the salon, and the hot springs.
Kumbhira: Now that I think about it, we really kicked back and took it easy...
Vajra: Now I feel bad... That's not what the Divine Generals are supposed to—
Lantana: Hahaha! Is that all you've done? Why, you've seen nothing yet—not until you experience the luau!
Divine Generals: The luau?
Lantana: Yes! It's a staple at Alohas that you simply cannot miss! The massage and the hot springs are almost nothing compared to the luau!
Anila: I-is that true? There's still more?
Andira: What's this... luau thing all about?
Vajra: Andie! We've got a meeting to attend, remember?
Andira: I-I know! I was just curious...
Lantana: To put it simply, the luau is a grand feast.
Lantana: You can indulge in the most scrumptious cuisine while enjoying a variety of song and dance performances. It's a kind of show that's both a party and a festival!
Catura: A party... and a festival... That sounds like a lot of fun...
Anila: It does sound very appealing, but unfortunately, we must be on our way.
Anila: Let's go, Vajra.
Vajra: ...
Kumbhira: Vajra? What's the matter?
Vajra: The festival... I wanna see it...
Kumbhira: ...!
Anila: What are you saying! We have an important assembly to hold! You said that yourself earlier, didn't you?
Vajra: But... I wanna see the festival!
Anila: ...!
Kumbhira: The idea of a festival must've really hit a chord with Vajra...
Vajra: I wanna see the festivaaal!
Unable to contain her excitement, Vajra looks at the others with puppy eyes.
Anila: You were feeling guilty just a moment ago! Whatever happened to that?
Kumbhira: Now, now... Anila, how about this?
Kumbhira: Since they serve food at the luau, why don't we give it a shot and treat it as simply having a meal?
Mahira: That's true. We may have a meeting to attend, but we still need to eat.
Anila: I suppose you're right about that...
Vajra: ...!
You mean... we can attend the festival?
Mahira: Happy, Vajra?
Vajra: Very!
Anila: I believe we've already been through this conversation several times since arriving here...
Kumbhira: Ahaha... You have a point. There's just so much going on at Alohas, it's hard getting everyone to sit down for a meeting.
Kumbhira: But you know, that's something I like about you, Anila. You'll say what needs to be said, but without just shooting things down.
Anila: Hee-hee. It's hardly just me—you could say the same for everybody else.

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 3: Splashes and Dances - Episode 3

At the luau, the seven of them thoroughly enjoy the food and entertainment. After discovering the wonders of the hula dance, they tell Tiare how amazed they were from watching her performance. Tiare is happy to see the Divine Generals having a good time. Just then, Lantana and a group of dancers go up on stage in preparation for another show.

At an indoor theater attached to the Alohas complex, the buzz of conversation fills the air as hotel guests wait for the show to begin.
The guests are seated in groups, with a luxurious selection of dishes at each table. Despite the mouth-watering temptations in front of them, however, the Divine Generals' gazes are fixed on something else.
Catura: Wow... They're so pretty...
Anila: Yes. Absolutely breathtaking...
Kumbhira: Their movements are so fascinating... It's beautiful.
The girls find themselves unable to peel their eyes from the stage.
Tiare: ...
The Divine Generals hold their breaths, entranced by the elegant performance put on by the dancers on stage.
Vajra: Their dance is completely different from mine... They move like water and wind.
Vikala: I'd love to incorporate this dance into the Eccentrical Parade!
Mahira: It's marvelous. I wonder if I'd be able to do it...
Andira: That's what I was thinking too, Mahi. I kinda wanna give it a try.
Vajra: Hmm... Their moves are slow so it looks easy at first glance, but keeping that core strength steady has gotta be tough.
Vikala: You're amazing, Vajra! You can tell just by looking?
Vajra: It's because I danced a lot back home. But the dance Tiare and the others are putting on is totally different from mine.
Anila: Hmm, yes... I've never seen anything like it. It looks like it'd be a lot of fun to dance, though.
Kumbhira: Yeah, the costumes really suit them too. Tiare looks stunning up there.
Tiare: Welcome, welcome! Enjoying the luau?
Catura: Tiare, you looked like a princess... from an illustrated book... when you danced!
Tiare: Thanks!
Andira: I didn't know you could dance! You were so good at it!
Anila: Indeed. I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw you on stage.
Tiare: Hehe, I'm really nothing compared to some of the others. There are dancers here who've been dancing since the day they learned to walk.
Vajra: Really? I still think you did a great job though. Your dance was graceful but powerful at the same time.
Tiare: Aha, I am pretty confident when it comes to strength! And I'm told I learn fast!
Vikala: What was that dance called? It's my first time seeing it!
Tiare: It's called the hula dance! It's both a prayer to nature as well as an expression of gratitude!
Mahira: Hula? What an interesting name.
Andira: Hula... That's so nice. I wish I could dance the hula too.
Tiare: You liked it that much? That makes me so happy!
Tiare: I'm very glad to see that you're having a good time here at the luau.
Vajra: Yeah, it's fantastic! And the food's delicious!
Anila: Yes! This sour yet oddly sweet fruit has a delectable taste!
Tiare: It's a fruit called the pineapple! We grow them at our greenhouse here at Alohas. Is it your first time having it?
Anila: Hmm, come to think of it, I might have come across it before in Auguste...
Tiare: Eat as much as you like! If this isn't enough, just let me know and I'll bring in some more!
Just then, the music coming from the stage shifts into a fast-paced rhythm.
Anila: What's happening?
Tiare: I take it you've already met Lantana? It's his turn to shine now!
Kumbhira: Oho! Does Lantana dance too?
The Divine Generals turn their heads just in time to see several bare-chested, male dancers appear on stage.

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 3: Splashes and Dances - Episode 4

Lantana and the dancers move to the beat of the drum and perform a fire knife dance. When Lantana extends an invitation to the guests to come up on stage for a dance battle, Vajra, Vikala, and drumming expert Mahira gladly oblige.

The bare-chested men quietly position themselves on stage.
Lantana: ...!
Kumbhira: Whoa!
Vajra: What the!
Vikala: W-wow... Are those... knives? Or spears?
Holding short rods resembling spears in their hands, the men light both ends of the rods with fire and begin spinning them at astonishing speeds.
Tiare: This is called fire knife dancing. Like the hula dance, it's one of Alohas's most popular attractions.
Anila: Isn't it... hot?
Tiare: Oh, of course it is! It's not uncommon to see Lantana covered in minor burns!
Andira: Yeah, even just watching them is making me sweat...
Anila: This is incredible. It's different from the hula dance, but just as thrilling.
Kumbhira: It's also my first time hearing this kind of drumming, but my body is naturally swaying to the rhythm.
Catura: Yeah... My body's itching to move too...
Andira: I'd never heard it before, but I'm already addicted...
Vajra: Exactly! It really hits you deep inside and gets you excited!
Vikala: Yeah, I wanna do something like this in my parade too! I'm so glad we came to the luau!
Mahira: ...
Kumbhira: Mahira? What's up?
Mahira: Ah...
Anila: Is something wrong, Kumbhira?
Kumbhira: Anila, Mahira's acting weird.
Anila: What? Are you not feeling well, Mahira?
Mahira: Ooh...
Anila: Ooh?
Mahira: Ahh...
Kumbhira: Ahh?
Mahira: Ooh-ooh...
Anila & Kumbhira: ...!
Mahira: Ahh-ahh...
Anila and the others stare at Mahira as she begins bobbing to the rhythm.
Mahira: Ooh-ooh, ahh-ahh! Ooh-ooh, ahh-ahh!
Kumbhira: Oh no, Mahira's gone ooh-ooh!
Anila: Why? What's happening to her?
Kumbhira's eyes widen in realization as she turns her gaze back to the stage.
Kumbhira: The drums... Could it be?
Kumbhira: The passionate beat of the drums must've reawakened Mahira's wild side!
Anila: You mean... without any Handsome Gorilla this time?
Mahira has before downed a drink called Handsome Gorilla, which awoke her inner gorilla.
The effects eventually subsided, and her speech returned to its usual pattern.
However, it seems the intensity of the drumming has drawn out this side of Mahira once again.
Mahira: Ooh-ooh-ahh!
Kumbhira: Well, she looks like she's having a good time, so I guess... why not?
Anila: That's true... I'm just a little worried she'll eventually rename the Rooster Temple to the Gorilla Temple...
The dancing on stage comes to an end, and Lantana takes a deep bow in front of the audience.
Lantana: Welcome to today's luau!
Lantana: The luau is slightly different from a regular show, in that the audience is free to dance along as they watch.
Lantana: It's a festival, after all!
Lantana: How about it? Would anyone like to come up and dance with us on stage?
Lantana: Come on, don't be shy! Raise your hand if you want to give it a try...
Vajra: Me! Over here! I'd like to try!
Vikala: Me too, me too! I wanna try dancing!
Festival-enthusiast Vajra and parade-loving Vikala call out as their hands shoot up into the air.
Lantana: Well, look at that! Seems we've got some ambitious guests with us tonight!
Lantana: And they're not just any ambitious guests. These lovely ladies are none other than the Divine Generals themselves!
Excited Guest: Did he say Divine Generals?
Awed Guest: Wow... You mean they're staying here too?
The crowd stirs at the mention of the Divine Generals as all eyes turn to the girls.
Andira: You've got drums with you too, right, Mahi? Why don't you go up on stage too?
Mahira: Ooh-ooh?
Mahira: Oh, that's right. I can't dance, but I could do some hand-drumming.
Kumbhira: You're being unusually proactive today!
Anila: The power of music...
Vikala, Vajra, and Mahira step up to the stage where Lantana awaits them.
Andira: You can do it!
Catura: Moohoohoo! Hmm... Maybe I'll go up too...
Kumbhira: Hm? Catura, didn't you say before you weren't the best at moving quickly?
Catura: Oh yeah... I forgot...
Lantana: I see! So all of you are quite familiar with music and dance!
Vajra: Yep! I often dance at the Canine Temple!
Vikala: And I dance at the parade!
Mahira: I'm pretty good with the hand drum.
Lantana: Hahaha! This is splendid! Wouldn't have expected any less from the Divine Generals!
Lantana: And here I was thinking of teaching you how to dance—that would've been most impudent of me.
Lantana: Very well! Why don't we put on a dance battle instead?
Vajra: A dance... battle? Is it gonna be a contest?
Lantana: Yes, we'll show each other what we're capable of, and the audience will be our judge!
Vikala: Haha! That sounds fun! Let's do it!
Lantana: This will definitely be a night to remember!
Lantana: Now, let the dance battle...
The Three: Begin!

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 4: Duty and Family - Episode 1

After a lively time at the luau, the girls go straight to bed and wake up in the morning of their fourth day at the resort. Thinking of (Captain) and the crew again, the divine guardians feel guilty and decide that they must hold the assembly today, once and for all.

The sun rises on the morning of the fourth day since the Divine Generals arrived at Alohas.
The girls stir in their beds as they slowly crack their eyes open.
Andira: Yaaawn...
Andira: Yesterday was another fun day...
Vajra: Hnnngh... It sure was...
Andira: Morning, Rara...
Vajra: Morning, Andie...
The impressive dance battle the previous night had everyone in high spirits at the luau.
But after the celebration, the Divine Generals found themselves thoroughly exhausted from all the excitement and had gone straight to bed, postponing the assembly yet again.
Mahira: Good morning...
Kumbhira: Anila... Anila, wake up... It's morning.
Anila: Nngh... I'm awake... I've been awake for... a while...
Anila: Zzz...
Kumbhira: Come on, wake up. Think about (Captain) and the others and how they're probably working hard at this very moment.
Anila: Oh! Eep, we ended up spending the entire day yesterday enjoying the festivities...
Catura: Sigh... I want to see (Captain)...
Vikala: I wonder what (Captain)'s doing right now?
Mahira: I'm sure the crew's hard at work, as usual.
Anila: At this rate, I won't be able to look (Captain) in the eye again...
Kumbhira: That's right. That's why we have to make sure that, today, we—
Anila: Zzz...
Kumbhira: Wake! Up!
Anila: Wah!
At the thought of the ever-diligent captain, the guardians are overwhelmed with a sense of guilt.
Certain that (Captain) and the crew are putting in their best efforts, the Divine Generals feel their motivation coming back.
Meanwhile...
Vyrn: Hah, we thought it'd be a tough job, but it ended in a jiffy!
Lyria: Yeah, that was so easy!
Joy: Nobody got hurt! Joy is happy!
Lyria: I'm glad too!
Vyrn: Heheh. We didn't run into any monsters, so deliverin' the package was a piece of cake.
Lyria: I wonder why they told us it was going to be a difficult request.
Vyrn: Probably just some miscommunication somewhere down the line. Well, no one ever knows what exactly's gonna happen during a job anyway.
Vyrn: I kinda feel bad for takin' it easy like this when the Divine Generals are away having that important meeting.
Lyria: Me too. I hope they're not having too much trouble with their discussions.
Joy: Trouble? Are they in trouble?
  1. I'm sure they're doing their best.
  2. Maybe they're actually slacking off.

Choose: I'm sure they're doing their best.
Vyrn: No doubt about it. Hope they're takin' some breaks here and there though.
Lyria: Yeah. They're always working so hard to help everyone around them, including us.
Lyria: It'd be great if they could take some time out for themselves too!
Vyrn: Definitely!
Joy: Joy thinks so too!

Choose: Maybe they're actually slacking off.
Vyrn: No way they'd do that. Anila said their only purpose for going was for the meeting.
Lyria: But they're always working so hard to help everyone around them, so it'd be great if they could take some time out for themselves too!
Vyrn: Definitely! Being a Divine General has gotta be one of the toughest jobs out there!
Joy: Joy wants Mahira and everyone to have fun too!
Continue 1
Little does anyone know that the crew and the Divine Generals are, in fact, spending their time doing anything but work.
Anila: All right, we're definitely going to hold the assembly today! Definitely, you hear?
Kumbhira: Roger that!
Anila: We can't just have a good time here while (Captain) and the others are out there exerting themselves!
Vajra: Yeah, let's do this! Today is meeting day!
Catura: Yeah... I'll do my best too...
Mahira: Oh.
Anila: Zzz...
Kumbhira: Hey!
Anila: Eep!

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 4: Duty and Family - Episode 2

The Divine Generals gather in the meeting room and are about to start the assembly when they hear a knock. Steeling themselves for whatever temptation may await this time, they open the door—and find an elderly lady outside.

Vajra: How is it, Kumbhira?
Kumbhira looks up from the Alohas pamphlet in her hands and nods at Vajra.
Kumbhira: Looks like we've already tried almost all the facilities here!
Andira: All right! That means there won't be anything else left to distract us, right?
Mahira: Alohas has so many things we've never seen before. It's hard not to get attracted by new things.
Vikala: But now that we've tried out everything, we can finally focus on our meeting!
Anila: I can't believe it took us so long...
Catura: It's okay, Anila... We can work hard... starting now.
Anila: Right, that we can! Let's begin the Divine Generals Assembly straight away.
Anila: Well then—
Just then, a knock sounds at the door of the meeting room.
Anila: Ooh... And what is it this time!
Andira: Um, let me get it.
Anila: No, wait juuust a second!
Andira is reaching for the doorknob when Anila quickly stops her before turning back to the others.
Anila: Listen, everyone. Beyond this door are countless temptations beyond our imagination...
Kumbhira: We know. We won't fall for them anymore.
Vajra: Kumbhira's right—we'll be fine. Go on and open the door, Andie!
Andira: Okay... I'm gonna open it!
Andira creaks open the door hesitantly.
Elderly Lady: Oh my... Hello there.
Andira: Huh? Oh, um, h-hello...

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 4: Duty and Family - Episode 3

After the night at the luau, the Divine Generals' presence at Alohas is now common knowledge throughout the resort, with a multitude of guests lining up to meet them. The guardians hold an impromptu meet-and-greet outside, and Catura takes the children around for rides on her gearcycle. When the sun begins to set, they wrap up the event and head back into the hotel for their meeting.

Elated Guest: Me too, please! Could I have a handshake?
Vikala: Of course! A handshake to remember, only at Alohas!
Vikala goes about naturally, shaking hands with the multitudes of hotel guests.
Elderly Lady: I would have never imagined that I'd be staying at the same hotel as the Divine Generals themselves... Oh, what an honor...
Kumbhira: We feel honored to be able to share this time with everyone here as well.
The elderly woman continues to thank the Divine Generals in awe.
Meanwhile, in another corner...
Milky: ...!
Catura: And we're back... Can you get down... by yourself?
Cheerful Cathy: Yeah! Thank you, Catura! That was really fun!
Eager Ethan: I'm next!
Spunky Sam: Nuh-uh, next is me!
Eager Ethan: No way! I was here first!
Spunky Sam: No, I was!
Catura: Oh, mooey... No fighting, okay? You'll all... have your turn!
Moomoo: Mooooo!
Spunky Sam: Whoa, what's that?
Cheerful Cathy: It's so cute!
Catura: This is my friend, Moomoo... Play nicely, okay?
Kids' Mother: Thank you so much, Catura, for giving my children a ride. It's truly made their day.
Catura: Moohoohoo! You're very welcome... I had... a lot of fun too!
Elated Guest: U-um, actually, I've been to the Ox Temple before, when I was young! It was a different divine guardian back then...
Catura: Wow! That must have been... my mama...
Elated Guest: Ah, I had the feeling you were related! You look very similar... Ahh, what an honor it is to have met both of you!
A throng of guests surround Catura, eager to get a glimpse of the current year spirit.
Kumbhira: Our meeting got interrupted, but I guess this still counts as doing something as Divine Generals.
Vajra: Yeah! Though the lady at the door caught me completely off guard at first.
After news of the Divine Generals spread, guests who did not attend the previous night's luau decided they wanted to see the Divine Generals for themselves.
As more and more people crowded the meeting room, the Divine Generals moved outdoors and decided to hold an impromptu meet-and-greet event.
Mahira: Catura sure is popular.
Anila: She is the current year spirit. This is part of her duty too.
Vajra: Caty's laid-back personality makes all the children adore her.
Andira: Catura...
Anila: Hm? What's the matter, Andira?
Andira: Oh, never mind! It's nothing!
Catura continues to take the children on rides, winding around the heaps of snow outside with her gearcycle.
Milky: ...!
Vikala: Bwah! Blargh!
Catura: Oh no... Vikala! I'm sorry...
Catura: I was trying to avoid the snow... But it looks like the rear wheel went into a puddle... and splashed you...
Vikala: Wah... Haha! No worries at all!
Catura: But, Vikala... Your ears and clothes are all wet...
Milky: ...!
Catura: Milky says sorry too...
Vikala: No problem! I'll give these a wash, and by the time they're dry, they'll be good as new!
Vajra: Uh oh... Vicky's looking like something the cat dragged in!
Anila: Hm. The sun seems about to set anyway, so why don't we head back inside?
Mahira: Yeah. Vikala should change into something dry, and we still have to hold our meeting.
Spunky Sam: Whaaat! Done already? But I wanna ride longer!
Kids' Mother: Hush! No whining, you hear me?
Catura: Um, that's it for today, but... if you'd like... we can do this again tomorrow.
Spunky Sam: Really? You promise?
Catura: Yup... Promise!
Catura: (If I do my best in my duties... then (Captain)... will be proud of me too!)
Catura can't help but smile to herself as she imagines (Captain) giving her a gentle pat on the back.
The guests thank the Divine Generals before eventually making their way back into the hotel. However, the day's events have yet to conclude.

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 4: Duty and Family - Episode 4

Entering the hotel, the girls bump into Friday, Tiare, and Lantana, who apologize for having disturbed their stay by announcing their presence at the luau. As an apology, Friday and the others urge the Divine Generals to have a soak in the hot springs. At the bath, Vikala tells the others that she's happy they can spend time together like family. The others are touched by Vikala's telling of her past and gather around the Divine Rat as they continue bonding with one another.

Friday: Oh dear, I'm very sorry you were forced to work on your well-earned vacation...
Lantana: Please accept my sincerest apologies for having disrupted your precious holiday...
Anila: What's this all about?
Tiare: This idiot here introduced all of you on stage as the Divine Generals at the luau yesterday, right?
Tiare: Thanks to that, all of our guests have been constantly at your door, hoping to get a chance to meet you...
Kumbhira: Oh, it's not a problem. We don't mind!
Vajra: Nope, not at all! Seeing people so eager to pay their respects is wonderful!
Vajra: And it's an honor that this many people know about us!
Friday: I wouldn't have expected any less from the Divine Generals! Your mentality and conduct are simply superb.
Friday: But I've already decided to make it up to all of you nevertheless. So allow me to offer you a special service!
Tiare: We're really sorry to have caused so much trouble for you! We'll definitely make it up to you!
Lantana: My deepest apologies!
Kumbhira: Please, you don't have to feel so bad about it... We really were glad to meet everyone.
Catura: Yeah... I even promised... to let them ride Milky again tomorrow...
Vikala: Yeah! No harm done at all!
Tiare: Vikala! Are you okay? You're soaking wet!
Tiare: We need to get you in a nice, hot bath ASAP! Leave your wet clothes to me!
Vikala: Oh, but we're about to have our meeting...
Anila: That's right... We still need to hold our assembly.
Friday: But at this rate, Vikala's going to catch a terrible cold. She needs to warm up first!
Kumbhira: Friday does have a point... It wouldn't be good if Vikala got sick during the trip.
Anila: Well... I suppose that's true...
Anila's affirmation is enough for Friday and her subordinates to nudge the Divine Generals toward the hot springs once more.
Tiare: Come on, everyone! Into the hot bath you go!
Tiare: We've also prepared a special present for you as an apology for having disrupted your vacation. Sit tight while I go grab it!
Andira: Whew... This feels even better after being in the cold for so long.
Kumbhira: It sure does...
Anila: We missed our chance to hold the assembly yet again...
Vajra: I really thought today was gonna be the day!
Kumbhira: Well, today's circumstances were out of our control.
Mahira: Hehe. It's been a while since I last acted as a Divine General...
Anila: Now that you mention it, me too.
Vikala: ...
Catura: Oh...
Catura glances at Vikala nervously, noticing the Divine Rat's silence.
Catura: Um, Vikala... I'm really sorry... for splashing water on you...
Vikala: Huh? O-oh, um... I-it's not a big deal, really...
Catura: But...
Vikala: I-I was just thinking how... this is actually k-kinda nice...
Vajra: Hm? What is?
Vikala: Y-you know, soaking in the bath with everyone... It's almost like we're a... f-family...
Anila: Family? Hm, you may be right.
Vikala: A-am I? I mean, i-it's not like I know what having a f-family is like, so I'm just basing this on my imagination...
Kumbhira: You don't... have a family?
Anila: Hrm... Vikala.
Anila: You usually leave right after our meetings, so I've never had a chance to ask you about where you're from.
Anila: If you don't mind, would you like to tell us a little about yourself?
Vikala: Huh? Um, s-sure... It's not th-that interesting, but if you're okay with that...
Vikala: My p-parents died when I was really young, so I don't have any m-memories of them... And I don't have any relatives either.
Vikala: I-I didn't have any place to go, so in the end, I was handed over to an orphanage for Harvins...
Vikala: It was fine at first, but then I grew t-taller and taller...
Vikala: The taller I g-grew, the less I f-fit in with everyone around me. I always got in their way...
Vikala: Th-that's when the d-director of the orphanage asked me to leave and live on my own... So I did.
Vikala: The town association found me a job as a dishwasher, s-so I started working after that...
Vikala: B-but since I grew up at an orphanage built for Harvins, I got used to how the furniture and facilities were there...
Vikala: I-I guess it sounds like an excuse, but I'm really clumsy... I often break dishes and mess things up... I'm really no good at all...
Vikala explains how she couldn't adapt well to the environment around her, since it was so different from the place she grew up in.
In the end, she continued living by herself in a small and dark room while working hard at her job.
Vikala: Th-that's about all I have to say about my past... That's how things were until I met Dorrie.
Vikala: Anyway, coming to Alohas with all of you just made me think that this must be what a family vacation would be like.
Vikala: L-like I said, it's just my imagination, though...
Anila: ...
Vikala: Oh no, I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to rant on like that...
That's when Kumbhira reaches out to pull Vikala into a tight hug. The others crowd around Vikala and do the same.
Vikala: Wha!
Kumbhira: You're right! We're family!
Anila: Yes... It must have been so tough for you, Vikala...
Anila: But now you have us! Forever!
Vikala: U-um...
Vajra: You must've been so lonely! Sorry, Vicky... If only we'd met you sooner!
Mahira: Yeah. But from now on, you can stick with us and we'll do things together.
Catura: Mahira's right... Vikala, from now on... let's drink lots of milk together!
Andira: ...
Anila: Tonight, we'll have a toast in your honor, Vikala! We'll party, enjoy our time together, and get to know each other even better!
Kumbhira: I'm in, but what are we going to toast with?
Tiare: Thanks for waiting! I've brought you some fresh pineapple juice! Try it—it should go perfectly with your hot bath!
Anila: That! We're going to drink some delicious pineapple juice!
Vikala: Huh? B-but... it's still early in the evening, so there's probably enough time to hold the assembly...
Vajra: The assembly won't go anywhere—we can do it tomorrow. Right now, we want to make sure you're having fun, Vicky!
Tiare cocks her head, bewildered, as the Divine Generals gather around Vikala, pineapple juice in hand.
Tiare: Erm... I don't really know what's going on, but...
Tiare: I'm glad they're enjoying themselves!
Moved by Vikala's story, the Divine Generals gather around the Divine Rat and decide to save the meeting for another day.
After their bath, they return to their room together and gather around Vikala, sipping on pineapple juice well into the night.
And when it is finally time for bed, they gather around Vikala and cuddle close to her before falling fast asleep.

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 5: Surprises and Mysteries - Episode 1

On the fifth day, Anila and the others are in the meeting room waiting for Catura, who is out giving rides to the children that didn't get a chance the previous day. Vikala is at the meeting without her ears on, as all of the ears she brought with her had gotten wet. Catura returns to tell the others that there's something wrong with her gearcycle, Milky.

The following morning, the Divine Generals assemble in the meeting room once more.
However, before they can begin the assembly, they realize that Catura is not in attendance.
Vajra: Where could Caty have gone?
Kumbhira: She went with Milky to give rides to the children who didn't get a chance yesterday.
Mahira: Oh, that's right, she promised them yesterday. Should we wait until Catura comes back then?
Anila: She did say she'll be back soon, and it wouldn't do to have the current year spirit absent from the meeting.
Anila: By the way, where are your rat ears today, Vikala?
Vikala: U-um, all the ears I brought with me got wet, so they're d-drying right now...
Kumbhira: You're always so cute, with or without ears!
Vikala: O-oh no, I-I-I don't deserve a compliment like that!
Anila: I suppose we can keep ourselves busy and shower Vikala with love while we wait for Catura. Here, let me ruffle your hair!
Vikala: T-t-take it easy on me, p-please...
Andira: Hey, Kumbhira. Can I talk to you for a second?
Kumbhira: Hm? What's the matter?
Andira: It's about Vikala and Catura...
Andira: Whisper, whisper...
Andira lowers her voice and whispers something into Kumbhira's ear.
Kumbhira: What? You've been worried about that?
Andira: Hngh... I just didn't know when to do it...
Kumbhira: Oh, no problem. Why don't we add it to our agenda for discussion at today's meeting?
Andira: Really? Would that be okay?
Kumbhira: Of course. I'm sure it's fine.
Andira: Heh heh, okay then. Sounds good to me!
Catura: Everyone...
Mahira: Oh, Catura. You're back so fast. Should we get the meeting started then?
Catura: Actually, do you think... you could come with me? There's something wrong... with Milky...
Mahira: ...?
The divine guardians follow Catura outside, where they are greeted by a most bizarre sight.
Anila: What the!
Kumbhira: Wait... You're kidding me!

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 5: Surprises and Mysteries - Episode 2

The others follow Catura outside to find that Milky's rear wheel has been replaced with a slice of pineapple. Puzzled by this turn of events, they all search for Milky's missing wheel, but to no avail. The Divine Generals have no choice but to explain the situation to the disappointed children before heading back to the meeting room.

Anila: What the!
Kumbhira: Wait... You're kidding me!
Milky: ...
Vajra: Milky... What happened to Milky's rear wheel?
Mahira: It's... pineapple.
Milky: ...
The Divine Generals are surprised to find the rear wheel of Catura's gearcycle missing, only to be replaced by a thick slice of pineapple.
Vikala: Erm, how... did this happen?
Catura: I don't know... It was like this... when I came out to get it...
Milky: ...!
Catura: Milky says it was already like this... when it woke up this morning...
Mahira: Oh. I didn't know Milky sleeps.
Andira: Do you think this is some sort of prank?
Catura: It's kind of cute like this... Maybe someone tried to... dress it up?
Anila: Dressing it up with pineapple? I don't know...
Kumbhira: So... what should we do about this?
Catura: Hmm...
Catura takes a moment—a rather long moment—to think.
Catura: I guess it's fine like this...
Kumbhira: Are you sure?
Vajra: Are you really gonna drive with pineapple as a wheel? Think carefully about this, Caty!
Mahira: I don't think it's going to work. It's not the same size as the front wheel.
Catura: Oh, too bad... It does look nice on you, Milky...
Milky: ...!
Milky brightens up a little, comforted by Catura's gentle words.
Anila: But who would go so far as to replace Milky's wheel with pineapple?
Andira: In any case, we should go look for Milky's wheel. It might still be around somewhere.
Vikala: G-good idea...
The Divine Generals work together to search the area, but the missing wheel is nowhere to be found.
Left with no other choice, they explain to the children that the gearcycle ride will have to wait, ushering the disappointed young fans back into the hotel.

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 5: Surprises and Mysteries - Episode 3

Vikala is on her way to the bathroom when she happens to overhear a conversation between Tiare and Lantana. She discovers that Tiare is the culprit behind Milky's missing wheel, and that the hotelkeeper wants to put an end to the Divine Generals. In her panic, Vikala trips and accidentally alerts Tiare and Lantana of her presence. Meanwhile, the others begin to worry about Vikala and go to look for her.

Vajra: Geez, who would do something like this? It's awful!
Kumbhira: You're telling me. On the other hand, Catura doesn't seem like she minds that much...
Catura: Oh! Mahira... I just came up with a good idea...
Catura: Do you think Milky could run... if we replace the front wheel... with pineapple too?
Mahira: It wouldn't be strong enough, not to mention incapable of producing speed. I'd say it'd go about as fast as you usually walk, Catura.
Catura: Oh... Darn...
Anila: Where did Vikala go? I don't see her around...
Kumbhira: Vikala went to the restroom earlier.
Vikala: Brr... It's so cold out there... I hope we find the wheel soon so we can come back inside.
As Vikala makes her way to the hotel lavatory, she hears voices from around the corner.
???: I'm telling you, you went too far.
???: Hmph... As usual, you're no use at all.
???: Come on, I already apologized for that! It was my bad.
???: Of course it was. But I still covered for you, didn't I?
Vikala: Huh? Wh-what's going on...
Overhearing the conversation coming from a nearby room, Vikala realizes that the voices belong to Tiare and Lantana.
Lantana: No more of this. You crossed the line.
Tiare: And I'll cross it as many times as I want. Don't get in my way, got it?
Tiare: I'm going to put an end to the Divine Generals.
Vikala: An end? To the D-D-Divine...
Lantana: What if someone saw you tampering with that gearcycle? You'd be in hot water right now!
Tiare: Well, no one saw me, so it's all good.
Vikala: H-huh?
Vikala: (Tiare... wants to put an end... to the Divine Generals?)
Vikala: (I-I have to tell Anila and the others right away! Oh, but maybe I should go to the bathroom first...)
Vikala: (Bathroom... Oh, but then again...)
As Vikala paces back and forth, she accidentally trips over some cleaning supplies lying near her feet, causing them to fall over with a loud crash.
Vikala: (Noooooo!)
Vikala: (Wh-why am I always so clumsy! Ahh, I kicked over everything...)
Vikala: (I'm sorry, I'm sorry... I'll clean this up right away!)
Tiare: Vikala?
Vikala: Eek!
Tiare: You... heard everything, didn't you?
Vikala: ...
Vikala: I-I-I.... I didn't hear a thing! Nope, not a thing!
Tiare: Oh Vikala, how could you lie to me like that? It makes me so sad.
Vikala: ...!
Tiare: And that's the end of Vikala, the Divine Rat...
Vikala: Uh oh...
Meanwhile, the other Divine Generals wait in the meeting room for Vikala's return.
Kumbhira: She sure is taking her time...
Catura: Oh... Maybe she's taking a—
Kumbhira: Catura! It's okay, we don't need to hear it!
Kumbhira: Whatever it is, she's taking way too long. Maybe something happened...
Worried for their friend, the divine guardians decide to go and search for Vikala.

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 5: Surprises and Mysteries - Episode 4

When asked, both Friday and Tiare tell the others that they haven't seen Vikala. The six divine guardians continue looking for their missing friend, unaware of Tiare's eerie smile.

Kumbhira: Oh, Friday! Have you seen Vikala?
Friday: Vikala? No, I'm afraid I haven't.
Anila: Goodness... Everyone seems to be getting lost at this hotel.
Kumbhira: But we've been here for a couple of days now, so I doubt she'd get lost anymore...
Kumbhira: Dormouse is here with us, so Vikala must be somewhere all alone...
Dormouse: ...!
Friday: Her disappearance certainly is worrying... I'll help as well. Let me ask my staff if anyone has seen her.
Anila: That would be great.
Vajra: Oh, hey, Tiare!
Tiare: Hi, everyone! What're you up to?
Vajra: Have you seen Vicky? She went off to go to the bathroom, but we haven't seen her since...
Tiare: Oh no, is she lost? I haven't seen her either...
Tiare: I'll help look for her! I'll search the area over there!
Vajra: Thanks a lot!
Tiare: Hehe...
A devilish grin spreads across Tiare's face as she watches the Divine Generals.
Frantic with worry, the others continue scouring the building for Vikala, oblivious to Tiare's ominous expression.

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 6: Truth and Realization - Episode 1

Unable to find Vikala, the others return to the meeting room in the meantime. In the midst of their worry over the earless and timid Vikala, another knock sounds. They open the door to find (Captain) and the crew standing in front of them.

The Divine Generals make a thorough search of the area, but Vikala is still nowhere to be found.
The sun begins to set, and they decide to return to the meeting room in the meantime.
Kumbhira: This is so weird... We've looked everywhere, but we still haven't found her.
Anila: Right. We found Mahira and Vajra pretty quickly when they were missing...
Catura: Do you think she's... outside?
Andira: I don't know... I used my clones to look outside too, but I didn't find anything.
Anila: And of all the times for Vikala to get lost, it just had to be today, when she doesn't have her rat ears on...
Just then, they hear a knock at the door.
Vajra: Is it Vicky?
Vyrn: Heyo, it's been a while!
Lyria: Hello!
Joy: Joy missed you! Long time no see!
Kumbhira: (Captain)? Wait, everyone's here!
The Divine Generals widen their eyes in surprise as the captain and the crew show up at the door unexpectedly.

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 6: Truth and Realization - Episode 2

(Captain) and company had come to Alohas after finishing their job early. Eventually, all of them manage to find Vikala, who is sitting by herself at the luau venue. Vikala tells them she had asked Tiare to pass on a message, despite the others never having received it. The crew suggests they all enjoy the resort together after the Divine Generals are finished with their assembly. Guilty about not having started the meeting yet, the divine guardians are determined to get to work.

Catura: (Captain)... I've missed you!
Vyrn: Heheh! We finished our job faster than expected, so we decided to drop by for some fun too!
Lyria: Vyrn, they're not here for fun. They're here to hold an important assembly, remember?
Vyrn: Oh yeah, I almost forgot. So you've been hard at work all this time, huh? Nice!
Joy: Good work, everyone!
Lyria: Hehe, I'm sure you're doing a great job!
Little does the crew know that the Divine Generals have yet to even begin their meeting.
Anila: We have a lot to explain, but we're actually dealing with something more urgent right now...
Joy: Urgent? What's wrong?
Kumbhira: We can't find Vikala anywhere... We've looked everywhere, but she's disappeared.
Lyria: Huh?
Vyrn: Wha! Disappeared?
Vyrn: Then who was that we saw earlier? You can't tell me that wasn't actually Vikala...
Kumbhira: What?
Vikala: ...
Kumbhira: Vikala!
The crew runs to the luau venue, where they spot Vikala sitting by herself in the seating area.
Vikala: I, uh, s-saved us a seat...
Anila: What are you talking about! We looked everywhere for you! Do you know how worried we were?
Vikala: Huh? B-b-but... why?
Vajra: What do you mean why? We were waiting for you to come back, but you just never showed up.
Andira: Where were you this whole time, Vikala?
Vikala: U-um, a b-bunch of things happened, and I ended up in the restricted area... for e-employees...
Andira: I see... It didn't occur to us to check in the employees' area...
Anila: Why are you dressed in a muumuu? Can you tell us what happened exactly?
Vikala: P-please don't ask... I'll die...
Anila: What! You have to give us the details!
Vikala: A-anyway, I passed on a m-message for all of you to Tiare...
Vajra: Hm? We saw Tiare earlier, but she didn't say anything about a message.
Mahira: Maybe we saw her before Vikala did.
Vikala: O-oh no... I-I thought you knew...
Vyrn: I don't really know what's goin' on, but I'm glad we found ya! Though, we did just see each other in the lobby.
The Divine Generals breathe a sigh of relief at having found the Divine Rat.
Lyria: By the way, when do you think you'll be finished with your meeting? Would you like to enjoy the resort together after?
Anila: It's not a matter of... when we'll be finished...
Vyrn: This place looks like it's got a ton of fun stuff, so let's try 'em out together when you're done!
Joy: When you're done, let's play! Joy will wait!
Kumbhira: Actually, it's less when it'll be done...
Andira: And more... when it'll start...
Vyrn: Wha?
Joy: What do you mean?
Lyria: Is that right? It's been a few days since you left the ship... Have you been busy with other things?
Anila: Erk!
The Divine Generals can't help but flinch at Lyria's innocent question.
Kumbhira: We haven't been busy at all... What have we been doing this whole time?
Andira: We gotta get ourselves together, if we wanna keep calling ourselves the Divine Generals.
Mahira: Now I kind of understand how Lunalu feels staring down her deadlines...
Lyria: Huh? Um...
Lyria: (V-Vyrn! Did I say something bad?)
Vyrn: (I don't really know, but it kinda seems like it...)
Anila: T-Tomorrow! We'll definitely have the meeting tomorrow! Won't we?
Catura: Yeah! Let's... do our best!
The divine guardians are determined to hold their meeting the following day once again. (Captain) and the others stare at them in confusion.
Vyrn: What have you been doin' this whole time?
Vikala: U-um... We went to the pool...
Kumbhira: The hot springs...
Anila: The salon... and got a scalp massage...
Vajra: And this thing that's like a festival, called the luau... It was held right here, actually.
Seeing the Divine Generals' guilty expressions, the crew tries to brighten up the atmosphere.
Lyria: W-wow, seems like you've been having a good time! We're really glad to hear that!
Lyria: Right, Vyrn? Joy? (Captain)?
Vyrn: Y-yeah! Besides, our last job ended up being a piece of cake, so we've been takin' our time too!
Joy: You're always working hard! It's okay to relax!
Anila: You're all too kind... But no need to be so easy on us—we deserve some scolding right now.
Vyrn: Er, I dunno if it's really up to us to do that... We weren't kidding that our last job was a breeze.
Despite Vyrn's words, the others' expressions remain dark. Lyria hurriedly tries to change the topic.
Lyria: Um, what kind of festival was this luau you went to?
Vajra: It's a lot of fun! You get to eat a ton of good food while watching different shows on stage.
Kumbhira: Vajra, Vikala, and Mahira went up on stage and had a battle with the dancers. It was all beautiful... but I guess my favorite was the hula.
Lyria: Hu-la?
Anila: It's a kind of dance. It's so graceful and elegant...
Andira: Yeah, it was great... The costumes were super cute too.
Lyria: Wow, that sounds really nice! I'd like to see it too!
Encouraged by the positive reactions, the Divine Generals proceed to tell the crew about their stay at Alohas in detail.

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 6: Truth and Realization - Episode 3

Tiare and Friday appear, and Tiare invites the crew to a hula dance lesson scheduled for the following day. Vikala strongly refuses and reveals to the others that Tiare intends to put an end to the Divine Generals. When the others ask Tiare about her true intentions, Lantana shows up and offers to explain.

Tiare: Welcome, welcome! You must be the captain I've heard so much about!
Lyria: Huh? Hello... I don't think we've met before.
Tiare: I'm Tiare! I work as both a hotelkeeper and dancer here. I'm serving as the main concierge for the Divine Generals!
Friday: (Captain), it's been a while! I knew you'd come!
FRIED SHRIMP: Fry-fryyy!
Lyria: Oh, hello, Friday! I hope you don't mind us visiting!
Joy: FRIED SHRIMP! Long time no see! How are you?
FRIED SHRIMP: Fry, fry, fryyy!
Friday: Have you already taken a tour of our facilities? What do you think of Alohas?
Lyria: Actually, we've only just arrived, but it looks really big! What kind of place is this exactly?
Friday: Aha, you must be dying to know! Let me tell you all about it!
Friday: You see, I realized that in order to implement the practice of Premium Friday, a place to rest the mind and body is also necessary.
Friday: But going to a recreation facility on the way home from work sounds tiring, doesn't it? That's where I thought to build a place where you can stay the night and relax in a luxurious setting!
Friday: A revolutionary idea, don't you think? Once everything here is stable, I'm planning to expand and open another branch or two!
Vyrn: Oh boy. It's been a while, but you haven't changed at all, Miss SHRIMP.
Lyria: Ahaha...
Lyria: But this does seem like a fun place! I was so surprised when we got here!
Friday: Hehe. Well then, I've got a few more things left to do, so you'll have to excuse me. Enjoy your time here!
Tiare: Hey, I overheard you saying earlier that you were interested in hula.
Anila: We certainly are, hehe. Like we were saying, the hula dance stole our hearts.
Anila: See this costume Tiare's wearing, Lyria? That's what the dancers wear for their performance.
Lyria: Oh, I was wondering about that! It looks so cute!
Tiare: Thanks!
Tiare: I wanted to ask you the other day, but how would you all like to join a hula dance lesson tomorrow?
Vajra: Really? If we take the lesson, will we be able to dance like you?
Tiare: Of course! Leave it to big sister Tiare to teach you everything you need to know about hula!
Tiare winks at them. The others' eyes light up at the thought of a dance lesson, until someone speaks up.
Vikala: U-um... P-please don't listen to Tiare!
Mahira: What's wrong, Vikala?
Vikala: R-remember, we decided that we'll hold our meeting tomorrow!
Andira: Oh, that's right... We were just talking about that, and I'd already forgotten.
Tiare: Whaaat! Come on, the lesson's just for a day. Come join us!
Vikala: W-we have a m-m-meeting tomorrow!
Vikala is unusually stubborn, despite being without her rat ears. Anila and the others exchange puzzled looks.
Anila: It's rather strange for you to tell us not to listen to Tiare... Did something happen?
Vikala: Sh-she's going to start tempting you... I was with Tiare for a long time, and I h-h-held back, all by m-myself...
Vikala: Sh-she wouldn't let me go...
Anila: Tempt?
Vikala: T-Tiare...
Vikala: She wants to put an end to the Divine Generals!
Kumbhira: Wha!
Vikala: Tiare's also the one wh-who replaced Milky's wheel with p-pineapple...
Catura: Whoa... Is that true?
Anila: What?
The Divine Generals turn to Tiare with doubt in their eyes, but Tiare looks unaffected, her smile unwavering.
Tiare: ...
Vajra: Wait... But when I asked you if you knew where Vicky was, Tiare, you said you hadn't seen her.
Mahira: If Tiare was with Vikala the whole time prior, then she would have known the message by then. It appears that she was lying.
Anila: Say something, Tiare. What's this about wanting to put an end to the Divine Generals?
Tiare: ...
Tiare remains silent. Just then, someone approaches from behind them.
Lantana: Let me explain instead.
Kumbhira: Lantana?
Lantana: I'll tell you all about what Tiare has been plotting.
Anila: You know about it? Or, could it be that you've been working with her?
Lantana: Yes, I know about it. And my failure to stop her from doing all this may very well be the same as working with her.
Anila: Hm...
Lantana: I'd like to talk a bit about our past, if that's all right with you. About our time before coming to Alohas.
Tiare: ...
Casting a glance at the wordless Tiare, Lantana begins to tell their story.

The Divine Generals Assembly - Chapter 6: Truth and Realization - Episode 4

As it turns out, Tiare and Lantana had grown up fighting in a war as child soldiers. Because she didn't want to see the Divine Generals having their youth stolen from them like hers was, Tiare had been trying to get in the way of their work by coming up with various temptations. However, Catura tells her of the good that being a Divine General has brought her, stirring memories in the others that strengthen their resolve.

Lantana: When we were children, Tiare and I served as soldiers in a country that was caught in a long war with another nation.
Lantana: We grew up in an environment where we were taught to hold a weapon even before we learned to speak.
Lantana: From an early age, all the adults around us told us to devote our lives to protecting the peace of our country.
Anila: What a cruel situation...
Lantana: As the years passed, things de-escalated and the war finally came to an end...
Kumbhira: That's... a good thing, right?
Lantana: But the thing is, we were raised to be soldiers, so when the war ended suddenly we didn't know what to do anymore.
Lantana: Since we both spent our entire childhood fighting in the war, we no longer had a purpose after it.
Lantana: Tiare and I eked out a living, wandering from country to country and sleeping without a roof over our heads.
Lantana: We didn't have any connections, and without having received any proper education, the only jobs left to us were dangerous and grueling.
Lantana: We did whatever brought in money and managed to scrape by—albeit barely—until one day...
Friday: Oh my Bahamut! To think that such a dark and appalling side of society still exists in our world today!
Lantana: A woman appeared in front of us. We had nothing but the clothes on our backs, and it was obvious from one look at us.
Friday: You two! Why are you working under such despicable conditions? This is an atrocity!
Friday: Hm? You don't have a place in society... and no purpose?
Friday: I see... I think I'm starting to see the situation here.
Friday: It seems your work-life balance is so poor that you can't even afford to consider your QOL.
Friday: Come with me! I promise I will show you a healthy and humane way of life!
Friday: Hop on my FRIED SHRIMP!
Lantana: And that's how we ended up here at Alohas.
Vajra: So Friday's been traveling the skies and picking up people who are in trouble...
Vyrn: Huh, whaddya know... Miss SHRIMP is actually a really nice person.
Mahira: Yes. It's wonderful she's providing a place for people society left behind.
Anila: But what is Tiare's reason for tampering with Milky?
Anila: Treating the Divine Generals as enemies and scheming against us... I'm afraid we can't just let that slide.
Lantana: Oh, no, we don't see you as enemies at all. That's not what I meant.
Lantana: Because of the environment we grew up in, the work you do as Divine Generals reminds Tiare of herself.
Anila: Of herself? What do you—
Tiare: It's all wrong!
Tiare suddenly flares up in anger, shakily raising her arm to point at the others.
Tiare: All the adults throwing such a heavy responsibility on these cute, innocent girls and praising them for their work... Don't you think it's wrong?
Vajra: Huh?
Lantana: Sigh... Tiare. Just stop it, will you?
Kumbhira: C-cute? Who, us?
Lantana: Tiare likes all of you a lot, you know.
Lantana: She tampered with the motorcycle because she didn't want you to do any more unnecessary work.
Andira: U-uh...
Lantana: Oh, I took the liberty of fixing the wheel, so it should be fine now. I'm very sorry about what happened.
Catura: Really? Let me... take a look...
Vikala: What Lantana's s-saying is true... Tiare's goal was to i-interfere with the Divine Generals' work...
Kumbhira: Vikala?
Vikala: The children were p-pestering Catura to let them ride on Milky...
Vikala: B-but Tiare didn't want Catura to be bothered like that, so she made sure Milky wouldn't be able to move...
Vikala: And j-just now, she was trying to convince me to e-e-enjoy myself instead of working...
Tiare: Vikala! You should just forget about the silly meeting and have as much fun as you want!
Vikala: I-I-I can't possibly do that... I have my, um, responsibilities as a Divine General...
Tiare: Actually, some new hair oil just came in! We have some different gels too, so how about giving them a try at the salon? I'm sure you'll love it!
Vikala: I-I-I... I have to go back...
Tiare: You really like cheese, don't you, Vikala? I saw you savoring some the other day! And lucky for you, we're going to prepare even more for tonight!
Vikala: O-ooh...
Having gained a thorough comprehension of her guests' preferences since their arrival, Tiare continues to coax Vikala into giving up her duties.
Anila: But why would she go so far?
Lantana: As I said, seeing you reminds Tiare of her own past.
Lantana: The adults gave us weapons and threw us out to the front lines, making us fight to protect the country.
Lantana: You, too, were given duties regardless of your will and made to protect the peace of these skies.
Lantana: That is what Tiare can't bear to see. Isn't that right?
Tiare: Well, yeah.
Kumbhira: So you were actually... worried about us?
Andira: Thanks for caring, but the peace of the skies depends on us, so we have to do our best—
Tiare: Then I have a question for you, Andira!
Andira: Huh?
Tiare: What exactly is this "peace of the skies" that you're protecting?
Andira: H-huh? Um, peace means... that everyone can live happily and—
Tiare: No! That's not what I'm asking!
Andira: I-I'm sorry...
Tiare: I'll tell you what peace is! Peace is when seven girls can enjoy their time together without a care in the world!
Tiare: That's what peace is!
Vajra: Come on. There's gotta be more than that!
Tiare: No, there isn't!
Lantana: Sorry. Once Tiare reaches this point, nothing you say will get through to her.
Tiare: Come on, just forget about your obligations and have fun! Leave keeping the peace of the skies to other people!
Tiare: If peace means that adults get to make children do all the hard work and sacrifice the happiness of innocent girls like you...
Tiare: Then I don't need peace. Peace has no value... All I want is for you girls to spend your time the way you want.
The Divine Generals waver under Tiare's pleading gaze, unsure of how to respond.
Kumbhira: I can see where you're coming from, Tiare. But that doesn't mean we can just abandon our duties as the Divine Generals.
Vajra: Right. Without us, who knows what kinds of dangerous things everyone will be exposed to?
Vikala: Y-yeah. We did have that incident with Kleshas before, after all...
Andira: But I'm glad you didn't mean any harm, Tiare. We really appreciate all the work you've put in for us during our time here.
Tiare: Oh, you girls...
Lantana: Why don't we leave it here, Tiare? Everyone's grateful for what you've been doing for them. That's what counts, right?
Tiare reaches into her pocket and slowly takes out a piece of paper. She shows it to the Divine Generals.
Mahira: What's this?
Tiare: The registration form for the hula lesson. Just sign here, and you'll be included in a special dance class.
Anila: Wow! Really?
Kumbhira: Phew... I'm glad there aren't any hard feelings between us.
Tiare: I won't teach you if you don't sign this form though. The lesson's tomorrow.
Kumbhira: Huh! But... our meeting's tomorrow!
Lantana: Tiare! Why do you have to go and bring this up again? The whole fiasco was just wrapping up nicely.
Tiare: No, it wasn't! Not until I free these girls from their burdens as the Divine Generals!
Tiare: I want them to just be regular girls who can go wild and enjoy their youth!
Tiare: What is peace anyway? Would you call leaving all the responsibilities to these girls "peace"?
Lantana: You can be so stubborn! You may have a point, but you're hammering it beyond all reason!
Tiare: So what's it gonna be? Sign here and all of you will be superstar hula dancers in no time!
Anila: Oh, that is very tempting...
Anila: But that won't be enough to derail us! We are going to have our assembly tomorrow, no matter what!
The Divine Generals appear firm in their resolution when Lyria decides to speak up.
Lyria: Um, is hula the dance Tiare performed that everyone was talking about earlier?
Anila: Lyria!
Tiare: It sure is! It's a dance so beautiful that it mesmerizes the audience every time!
Tiare: What's more, Lyria, is that if you sign up for the lesson now, it comes with a free hula costume—the exact same one as mine!
Lyria: Oh, wow! We get our own costume too?
Andira: Rara, did you hear that? It comes with a free costume...
Vajra: Yeah... That costume is super cute...
Tiare: Plus, we'll include this exquisite flower accessory! This is called a lei—it's made out of flowers and seeds!
Lyria: Wow... It's like a necklace made of flowers and seeds? It's so pretty!
Tiare: And that's not all! We have more for you!
Tiare: For a limited time, we're also throwing in an instrument called the ukulele to everyone who signs up today!
Lyria: What! We get a free instrument?
Tiare: That's right! After all, you need music to dance, don't you?
Tiare: Aaand! As a very special offer, we'll even engrave your name on the ukulele!
Lyria: Oh, wow! That means we won't ever have to worry about losing it!
Tiare: With this amazing set of items, you, too, can be a full-fledged hula dancer! You can hold a luau wherever, whenever!
Kumbhira's curiosity is piqued as she listens to the conversation between Tiare and Lyria.
Kumbhira: But... is it expensive?
Tiare: This just happens to be your lucky day! If you sign up now, you can join our lesson and receive all these goodies... for free!
The Six: For free?
Lyria: No way! Are you sure it's okay for you to give out so many things for free?
Tiare: Of course! It's an offer only available to the valued guests at our hotel.
The divine guardians and Lyria cannot help but be charmed by Tiare's unrelenting sales strategy.
Vyrn: What the heck is goin' on here?
As (Captain) and Vyrn watch from the side, perplexed, Lyria raises her hand enthusiastically.
Lyria: I'd like to join! Sign me up, please! I want to learn how to dance the hula!
The Six: ...!
Tiare: Thank you very much! Then if you could write your name here on this form!
Joy: Joy wants to hula dance too!
Tiare: Wow, what a delightful little friend we have here! You want to dance with us too?
Joy: Yep!
Joy: Joy has hands! Joy has feet! Joy can dance the hula too!
Tiare: Well, we'd love to have you! We'll all dance together!
Joy: Hooray! Joy can write Joy's name! See!
Lyria: Ooh, I signed it! I can't wait for tomorrow! Right, Joy?
Joy: Yeah! Very excited!
Lyria: Oh, but the Divine Generals have their assembly tomorrow...
Lyria: Um, Tiare! Actually, since everyone will be busy tomorrow, maybe it's not such a good idea to have the lesson then.
Reminded of her friends' busy schedule, Lyria wavers for a moment. But Tiare is quick to recover her attention and drops to a whisper.
Tiare: Don't worry. Leave it to me.
Tiare: And that makes only seven more spots left in the class! Spots are filling up fast, so sign up now!
Vajra: Eee! Seven... That's perfect for us!
Vikala: O-oh... Y-you're right...
The Divine Generals look hesitantly at one another.
Andira: Well... What difference would one more day make, right? I mean... this is a really good deal.
Kumbhira: Yeah... There's always the day after tomorrow for the meeting...
Anila: Free... for a limited time... It's not every day we come across such a miraculous deal. And seeing Lyria so excited about it too...
Tiare holds out a form and a pen to Anila.
Tiare: Then you have no choice but to sign, Anila. Wouldn't you say?
Anila: Yes...
Meanwhile...
Milky: ...!
Elated Guest: Whoa!
Kids' Mother: Eek!
Milky: ...!
A mysterious black shadow swerves around unsuspecting guests in the lobby of the hotel, disappearing in the blink of an eye.
Elated Guest: Wh-what was that just now?
Kumbhira: Hey, Anila. We'll definitely, definitely get the meeting done the day after tomorrow, so... what do you say to one more day of fun?
Anila: Mm, I don't know...
Andira: Anila... Don't you think the hula dance looks so fun?
Anila: I do... And it'd be nice if all of us could dance together...
Tiare: Hehe. Well then, here's the pen! Be a sweetheart and sign right here, won't you?
Anila takes the pen from Tiare and shakily lowers her hand over the paper, ready to give her consent.
Milky: ...!
Anila: ...?
Milky: ...!
Kumbhira: Catura!
Everyone turns to see Catura on her trusty ride, despite being indoors.
Catura: Moohoohoo! The tire really is fixed... Milky's happy too...
Catura: I walk really slow, so Milky took me back... Sorry for making so much noise...
Seeing the others' shocked expressions, Catura cocks her head.
Catura: Huh? What's... everyone doing?
Vajra: We're thinking of taking the hula dance class tomorrow. You wanna join too, right, Caty?
Catura: I see... I think I'll pass though...
Tiare: ...!
Tiare: Um, Catura? Did you not like the hula dance?
Catura: No... It was really cute!
Tiare: Th-then you should join us! We're giving out free costumes and ukuleles too! It's a really good deal!
Tiare: You can spend tomorrow learning to dance! You don't have to worry about your meeting!
Tiare: A nice dance lesson sounds a lot more fun than being stuck at a meeting, right? You can just forget about your boring responsibilities and—
Catura: I'm going to hold the meeting... even if I'm by myself. I want to do my very best... in my duties...
Catura: Because my duties... are what brought me to (Captain)... and everyone here!
Anila: ...!
Tiare: Uh... Well, you've already met them now, so that's no reason. You can take some time to relax!
Tiare tries to persuade Catura, but Catura's words were enough to wake the others.
Anila: No... It's all the reason we need.
Tiare: Wha... But Anila...
Kumbhira: Yeah... Catura's right. We can't let ourselves get distracted like this.
Anila returns the pen to Tiare—a firm sign of refusal to sign the form anymore.
Tiare: What's up with all of you... Having fun at a dance lesson is definitely a lot better than being a stifling Divine General!
Vajra: That's not true. It's not all sweat and tears... Being a Divine General's a lot more than that!
Mahira: I often get caught up in tinkering with machinery and forget too, but Catura's reminded me that being a Divine General also has its merits.
Andira: I hafta admit that it's tough being a guardian sometimes, but there's tons of fun involved too, and that's really important!
Vikala: Y-yeah... I have a f-f-family now... and I was able to meet (Captain)...
Anila: That's right. Catura's indeed the year spirit... Hehe, thank you for saving all of us.
Anila: Tiare! I'm afraid we won't be able to attend tomorrow's lesson after all! We have an assembly that we absolutely must hold!
Tiare: I won't let you hold the assembly! You've all been brainwashed by those wicked adults!
Tiare: Young girls like you should be busy enjoying themselves! That's the norm! Don't you wanna live a normal life and have fun?
Kumbhira: A normal life... I agree that it does sound appealing. But we won't let our attention get diverted any longer!
Tiare: I'll wake all of you up! I'll make you forget about your so-called duties and teach you what it really means to have fun!
Vajra: We are awake! That's why we won't idle our time away and ignore our obligations anymore!
Anila: Yes. We've had plenty of time to play! Now we have to resist the temptations and fulfill our roles! We need to make sure this isn't just a vacation, but a workation!
Tiare: No! No, no, no!
Tiare: A workation is just a fantasy! There's no point if it's not all fun! It's not reeeal!
Anila: We'll make it reeeal!

The Divine Generals Assembly - Ending

The Divine Generals successfully resist Tiare's temptations. Seeing their firm resolution, Tiare finally apologizes for her actions and leaves the others to their business. The next day, the divine guardians hold their assembly, which they get through in a short time thanks to their spectacular teamwork. After joining the crew at the pool, they spot Tiare nearby and ask her to be their friend. With their meeting finished and misunderstandings solved, the crew continue enjoying their time together at Alohas.

Despite Tiare's relentless persuasion, the Divine Generals manage to resist her temptations.
Eventually, Tiare realizes that her sweet talk no longer has any power over her audience.
Tiare: How is it that you still don't understand even though I've explained everything to you so clearly?
Tiare: You don't have to be responsible for anything...
Anila: It's true that the role of a Divine General can be difficult at times... but it's not always.
Kumbhira: Nope. By fulfilling my duty, I got to meet everyone here and travel with (Captain).
Tiare: ...
Seeing the divine guardians' unmovable resolution, Tiare's shoulders sag in defeat.
Tiare: Sob... Sooob...
Vajra: Wha!
Catura: Tiare...
Tiare: Waaah... Hiccup... Sob....
Catura: What's wrong?
Tiare: Hngh... C-Catura... I'm sorry I... replaced your gearcycle's tire with... pineapple...
Catura: Don't worry about it...
Tiare: And I'm sorry, everyone... for all the things I did...
Divine Generals: ...
Surprised at Tiare's change of attitude, the Divine Generals hesitate, unable to come up with an appropriate response. Tiare turns and begins to trudge away.
Vikala: T-Tiare!
Lantana: It's fine. Just let her be.
Mahira: But I'm worried about her...
Lantana: Please, there's nothing for you to fret about. She's the one at fault for being overly invested in our guests.
Anila: Overly... invested?
Lantana: She's been so excited since the day all of you arrived at Alohas.
Tiare: Lantana, listen to this! Did you know that the group reservation for today was for the Divine Generals?
Tiare: They're all super cute! And not only that—they're really funny too!
Tiare: Anila said they have some important work to do as Divine Generals and want to concentrate on their meeting...
Tiare: She said they need to do their jobs since they were chosen for it, but that's just like how we were before... Nothing's changed since then...
Tiare: Even though they're here at such a fun place, all they're doing is work... It's terrible...
Tiare: I fiddled a bit with Catura's bike. Now they won't be able to do their Divine General work! Hehehe!
Tiare: Let's see, what should I tell them to do today... I want them to have as much fun as they can.
Lantana: In the end, she became completely obsessed with making sure all of you didn't do any work. Sigh...
Catura: So that's how it was...
Lantana: She didn't want you to have your youth stolen like hers was.
Lantana: Seeing all of you have a good time together fulfilled the fantasies of her own childhood that never came true for her.
Andira: Fantasies?
Lantana: We used to work with a lot of other people... They were our friends, and we were all around the same age. But Tiare and I were the only ones who survived.
Lantana: Tiare must have been living vicariously through you, imagining all of our friends and how it would be if they were still alive.
Vajra: That's why she tried so hard...
Lantana: But of course, all of you have your own circumstances—or rather, your duties as Divine Generals.
Vajra: That's right. We have a role that only we can fulfill.
Lantana: Right. You chose this for yourself, whereas we didn't. It's a fundamental difference.
Lantana: Now that Tiare's finally realized this, she probably feels like she's failed to live out her ideal childhood once again.
Lantana: Her tears are proof of that. She might seem like a capable adult normally, but inside, she's still just a child... And so am I, actually.
Catura: ...
The Divine Generals turn to look in Tiare's direction, but she is already out of sight.
The next day.
Lyria: Take that!
Vyrn: Bwah!
Joy: Oh dear!
Vyrn: Heheh... Haha! Who woulda thought that a pool could actually be this big!
Vyrn: I didn't know you could function in pools, Joy. Nice!
Joy: Yep! If the inside doesn't get wet, it's okay! The pool is fun!
Vyrn: It sure is! It's just like bein' in Auguste!
Vyrn: Hey, Alo-pal! Could I get some yakisoba?
Lantana: You got it! Some fresh, hot yakisoba coming right up!
Anila: They certainly look like they're having a fantastic time.
Vyrn: Anila! And you've got everyone with ya!
Mahira: I'm glad you're having fun too, Joy.
Joy: It's very fun! Alohas is a nice place!
Lyria: How come all of you aren't in your swimwear?
Anila: Hehe. Well, that's because we have something very important we need to get done right now.
Vikala: Haha! We're just here to make sure you're having a good time before we start our meeting!
Lyria: Oh, that's right! I was so caught up in all the fun that I almost forgot... Hehe.
Vajra: I totally understand that feeling! There're so many amazing things at Alohas, we lost track of what we were supposed to do plenty of times too...
Mahira: That won't be happening today. But I hope all of you enjoy your time off.
Andira: See that huge contraption over there? It's called a water slide! It's a lotta fun so make sure you give it a try!
Kumbhira: Yeah, it's great. We went on it quite a few times ourselves.
Catura: (Captain)... I'll do my best... at the meeting.
  1. You got this.
  2. Good girl.

Choose: You got this.
Catura: Thank you! I'll do my best... for you too.

Choose: Good girl.
Catura: Moohoohoo! I'm glad... you're proud of me.

Anila: Right. Off we go then.
Though reluctant, the divine guardians are firm in their resolution to fulfill their duty as they leave to hold their assembly.
Vyrn: Heheh. They sure are dependable! Guess they're not called the Divine Generals for nothin' after all.
Joy: They're working hard! Joy respects them!
Lyria: Huh?
Just then, Lyria notices that they aren't the only ones watching the Divine Generals go.
Tiare: ...
Vyrn: Hey, it's the Hula Lady. What're you up to?
Tiare: I was just thinking how my persuasion didn't work after all... and feeling a little sad, hehe.
Vyrn: Come on, don't sweat it. All of the Divine Generals are tough nuts—you can't crack 'em that easily.
Vyrn: They know how to have a good time, but they also really get down to business when it matters.
Tiare: Yeah... I'm sure you're right. I guess that's just how a workation goes.
The Divine Generals make their way from the pool to the meeting room.
Anila: Very well. Then let us begin the Divine Generals Assembly!
Andira: Okay!
Mahira: We have lots to discuss.
Vajra: Let's do this!
Kumbhira: This time for sure!
Vikala: And have fun doing it!
Catura: I'll do... my best!
And finally, the Divine Generals Assembly begins.
Despite their dallying from time to time, it is clear to anyone that these sacred guardians are sincere in their mission to protect the peace of the skies.
The End?
Vyrn: Whew... What a feast! That was some good stuff!
Lantana: I'm glad to hear that! The yakisoba with pineapple chunks is my personal invention!
Vyrn: For real?
As Vyrn rubs his tummy, satisfied, he looks over to see seven figures approaching from the entrance.
Anila: Taking a break?
Vyrn: I just finished eating... Wait, what're you guys doin' here?
Joy: What happened to the meeting?
Vikala: It's done!
Vyrn: That was fast!
Lyria: Huh! Um, you mean it's over already?
Vajra: Yep! Probably the shortest one yet!
Kumbhira: Who knew we could get it done this fast if we all worked together?
Vyrn: Wait a sec... I mean, it's not really our place to say, but you sure you didn't just speed through stuff so you can slack off some more?
Andira: Hehehe! I don't blame you for suspecting that we did, but we talked everything through very seriously!
Anila: We started off with our reports of recent Klesha activity. There hasn't been any major damage thus far, but we need to prepare for the various possibilities.
Mahira: Then, we decided on several courses of action in order to make our Klesha monitoring system more thorough.
Vajra: We talked about the different festivals at the temples too. We want to give as many blessings as we can to our visitors, after all!
Kumbhira: And we discussed repairing the temples, since a lot of them are getting a bit old.
Vikala: I also gave a report of how the taking over of duties went, and how everyone just has to visit Catura's huge ranch!
Catura: And I... talked about my ideas... for passing on my duties next year...
Vyrn: Wow! I guess you guys really are on top of things!
Joy: You're all amazing!
Andira: Hehe. I brought up a topic for discussion too, you know.
Lyria: What kind of topic was it, Andira? If you don't mind telling us, of course!
Andira: I'd always wanted to call Vikala "Vicky" and Catura "Cat," you see.
Andira: But I never really had the chance to ask if that'd be okay... When I talked to Kumbhi about it, she suggested I bring it up at the meeting.
Andira: And that's where everyone gave their OK. So starting today, I'll be calling them Vicky and Cat!
Vikala: I'm happy to have you call me that! Let's be good friends, okay, Andira?
Catura: And me too... Andira!
Vyrn: (Uh, they could've done that outside of the meeting...)
Lyria: That's great, Andira!
Andira: Yeah!
Vyrn: Anyway, it's crazy that you guys managed to get all that outta the way in such a short time.
Anila: But of course. After all, we want to spend some time with (Captain) too!
Divine Generals: Yeah!
The divine guardians laugh gleefully, innocent smiles on their youthful faces.
Tiare: ...
A sight that does not escape Tiare, watching from afar with her jaw agape.
Anila: Hm? Ah, Tiare.
The Divine Generals turn to meet Tiare's gaze.
Tiare: ...!
Tiare: M-my apologies... I'll be resigning from my duties as your concierge right away, so—
Vajra: Ready, and....
Divine Generals: Aloha!
Tiare: Huh?
Tiare: Why don't you try using it with the friends around you? I'm sure you'll get used to it!
Tiare: Anyway, I'll take my leave here. Aloha!
Vajra: It's thanks to you that we were able to get our meeting done so quickly, Tiare!
Vikala: That's right! You showed us how to make the most of our time here.
Kumbhira: That's why we felt we shouldn't hole up in the meeting room for the rest of our stay.
Mahira: Hehe. But frankly speaking, we just wanted to relax too.
Anila: Hehe, that was supposed to be our little secret, remember? Now then, we have one more thing we decided during the assembly.
Catura: Right... Tiare, will you be... our friend?
Tiare: Huh?
Anila: All of us are incredibly grateful for the hospitality you've shown us.
Andira: We really love you, Tiare!
Andira: At the meeting, we were talking about how we'd really like to be friends with you.
Tiare: ...
Vajra: Will you be our friend, Tiare?
Tiare: Of course... Of course!
Tiare wipes away her tears and smiles at her new friends.
Tiare: I'll hold a special hula dance lesson, just for you!
Anila: T-truly?
Tiare: Yeah! Big sister Tiare here will show all of you how to put on the perfect hula dance show.
Tiare: Oh, of course, Lyria and the rest are welcome to join too!
Lyria: Hooray! I'm looking forward to it!
Joy: Joy is looking forward to it too!
Vyrn: Heheh, sounds awesome!
Vyrn: We're here anyway, so you wanna give hula a shot, (Captain)?
Friday: Oh my, everyone looks like they're having a good time!
Vyrn: Oh hey, it's Friday!
Lantana: Director, your guests have just become Tiare's new friends.
Friday: How lovely! A friendship built upon Alohas. It seems this workation has produced results beyond expectation!
Friday: This can only be a blessing from the esteemed Divine Generals!
Lantana: Indeed. Seeing how happy Tiare is, that's what I think as well.
Tiare: Well then, everyone! Let's get the dance lesson started, shall we?
Divine Generals: Yeah!
The Divine Generals, along with (Captain) and the crew, dive headfirst into Tiare's hula training.

Anila: Hehe... This is harder than I thought.
Vajra: Yeah, but it's fun 'cause everyone's here!
Kumbhira: And now that we got the assembly done, we can finally go all out without having to feel guilty!
Mahira: Yes, exactly. Looks like our workation is a success.
Vikala: This just shows that no problem is too tough for us if we're together!
Andira: You sure you've got time for chitchat? Don't forget that after the lesson, we're gonna have a showdown to see who can dance the best!
Catura: If I learn the hula... then I can dance for (Captain)! Look forward to it... okay?

Though the hula dance proves to be no easy feat, they all finish the lesson with smiles on their faces.
And in the midst of a wonderful workation, the Divine Generals Assembly successfully comes to a close.
The End

The Divine Generals Assembly - DGA - Episode 1

The topic of discussion is temple maintenance. The Divine Generals remind one another that keeping up with temple traditions is a part of building trust with the people in that region. When Kumbhira considers changing the Boar Temple's traditions to something more lively, Vikala suggests that she puts on an Eccentrical Parade. Briefly imagining herself putting on a parade like Vikala, Kumbhira instead decides that doing what she's comfortable with is best after all.

Divine Generals: The D-G-A!
Kumbhira: So I guess almost everyone's thinking about making some repairs to their temples.
Vajra: Yeah, some things around the temple are pretty old, so I'm thinking of getting them mended. It's not super urgent though.
Mahira: Major repairs won't be easy. We'll need to ask professionals to help with those.
Anila: Right. Well, first, we'd need other people to agree to help us with the repairs.
Anila: After all, asking someone for their help is something that's built on trust.
Andira: Trust, huh... What can we do as Divine Generals to build trust?
Anila: Holding various functions at our temples, such as facilitating the shrine visits at the beginning of each year, is part of our duty.
Anila: By keeping these traditions, we are building a relationship of trust with the people in the community. That's what I believe.
Vajra: I perform my dances! That counts too, right?
Catura: I deliver fresh milk... Everyone tells me... that it's delicious!
Anila: Exactly, very good. You're making solid contributions to the community.
Andira: I see... So that's trust.
Kumbhira: I'm kind of jealous... All of you are so much more relaxed.
Mahira: Is there something that's bothering you, Kumbhira?
Kumbhira: We conduct Omencrushing at the Boar Temple, so it's pretty strict. Just your typical traditional practice at a temple.
Vajra: Oh yeah... You guys do something where the divine guardian smashes the boulder in which all the bad luck is sealed, right?
Andira: That's amazing, Kumbhi! What's there to worry about?
Kumbhira: But after hearing about what all of you do... I'm thinking it might be more enjoyable for visitors if we did something more lively and light-hearted.
Vajra: That's true. I guess it's not just about keeping traditions, but doing things that are right for the current generation too.
Vikala: Euuureka! I just came up with a brilliant idea!
Kumbhira: What's this brilliant idea you have, Vikala?
Vikala: Haha! You can hold an Eccentrical Parade at the Boar Temple too, Kumbhira!
Kumbhira: Wha! Me? Hold a parade?
Vajra: Oooh! I'd love to see a parade put on by Kumbhi! I can't imagine what it'd be like!
Andira: Let us know when you do it, okay? We wanna see it too!
Mahira: I'll secure us front row seats.
Kumbhira: H-huh? You mean... doing what Vikala does, and...
Kumbhira: Hiya, I'm Kumbhi! Welcome to Boartopia!
Vikala: All the visitors to the Boar Temple are gonna have a great time for sure! Pretty nice idea, right?
Kumbhira: ...
Kumbhira: Thanks, Vikala. You helped me realize that I should focus on what I can do, and not force myself to do something I can't!
Vikala: Awesome!
Vikala: Wait, what?

The Divine Generals Assembly - DGA - Episode 2

The topic of discussion is passing on duties. After talking briefly about year spirit duties, Vajra mentions a rumored energy drink called Crimson Cow that supposedly allows whoever drinks it to fly. Despite Mahira's piqued interest, Anila shows her disapproval for any energy drink.

Divine Generals: The D-G-A!
Catura: Okay, then I'll pass on my duties... when the time comes...
Divine Generals: Approved!
Anila: Next is the year of the tiger... though there's still plenty of time until then.
Catura: Moohoohoo! I'll have to keep working hard... so I can marry (Captain)... while I'm still the year spirit!
Vajra: Oh, speaking of working hard...
Vajra: From what I hear, there's another new and peculiar energy drink somewhere in the skies.
Mahira: Cluck? Is there really?
Vajra: Yeah. It's apparently called "Crimson Cow."
Catura: Huh? A... cow?
Anila: First it's a gorilla, and now it's a cow?
Mahira: Do you know anything about this, Catura? You know, since it's about cows.
Catura: We didn't have any red cows... at our ranch... but Mama might know something.
Mahira: It's most likely just a name. I'm pretty sure no gorillas were actually involved in Handsome Gorilla either.
Catura: Ohh... okay.
Vikala: So what happens when you drink it?
Vajra: It's crazy... I thought my ears were deceiving me when I first heard about it.
Andira: C-crazy? Like how?
Kumbhira: Hehe. Imagine if it made you go moo.
Anila: Hehehe. You mean it might make you act like a cow?
Catura: Huh? Then maybe... I've been drinking it... this whole time...
Vajra: No, I'm pretty sure you haven't. You see, when you drink it...
Vikala: When you drink it?
Vajra: Apparently you'll be able to fly!
Mahira: ...!
Catura: Whaaa! Fly?
Andira: Come on, you've gotta be joking, Rara!
Vikala: But if it's a cow... why is it flying?
Mahira: Vajra.
Mahira: Are you saying that if I drink it, even I will be able to fly? I have to admit, I'm a little interested.
Kumbhira: From what I can see, Mahira... I don't think you're just a little interested.
Mahira: Vajra... Tell me more about this drink.
Anila: I think I've had enough of energy drinks!
Vajra: If we ever come across this Crimson Cow, let's all give it a try!

The Divine Generals Assembly - DGA - Episode 3

Between their various topics of discussion, their conversation touches on the subject of the kotatsu. Andira says that squishing together at a kotatsu is nice because she can enjoy how soft and fluffy Anila and Kumbhira are. When Kumbhira notes how Andira seems to have grown more independent recently, Andira admits that she has been secretly snuggling up to them at night.

Divine Generals: The D-G-A!
Kumbhira: We're going through the agenda pretty fast! It usually takes us much longer.
Catura: Moohoohoo! I hope I can... spend some time with (Captain) soon...
Anila: Hehe. So do I, but we can't do this half-heartedly, okay?
Catura: Yep! Don't worry... I'm taking my year spirit duties... very seriously!
Vajra: It could also be this room. Don't you think it helped us settle into our meeting quickly?
Anila: True. If there'd been a kotatsu, it would make us so lazy... but I suppose there's too many of us to sit at a single kotatsu anyway.
Vikala: But sitting at a kotatsu together sounds fun too. I'm sure Mahira would be able to make a kotatsu large enough for all of us!
Mahira: Hmm... Just making the table itself bigger wouldn't be too hard, but it'd take up a lot of space in the room.
Mahira: We don't want it to be too cramped. One possible solution would be to alter the shape of the table to something more geometrical.
Andira: Wait a minute! But being squished together is one of the things that makes sitting at a kotatsu so great!
Kumbhira: Whoa, what's gotten into you?
Andira: I want all of us to squish together! Don't you think it'd be nice?
Andira: Don't go and take that away, Mahi!
Mahira: What's your reasoning behind that, Andie?
Andira: If we sat far apart, I wouldn't be able to snuggle up to Kumbhi and Anila and give them hugs! No more soft and fluffy!
Anila: Hehe, so that's your main concern. You certainly love your soft and fluffy things.
Kumbhira: Hm, but we haven't seen that side of you during our stay here.
Kumbhira: Look at you, growing up already... It makes big sister here feel a little sad.
Andira: Oh, you just don't know.
Andira: Ever since we arrived at Alohas, while all of you are sleeping at night, I've been snug—
Anila: Hm?
Andira: Ahem... Cough, cough.
Kumbhira: ...
Andira: Um, never mind! Let's move on to the next topic of discussion!
Anila: Hold on! Just what have you been doing while we're asleep at night?

The Divine Generals Assembly - DGA - Episode 4

The topic of discussion is making up with Tiare. The Divine Generals agree on asking Tiare to be their friend. They reveal that the speed at which they progressed through the meeting is partially out of consideration for Tiare's wish for them to not work too much. Next, Andira asks Vikala and Catura if she can call them "Vicky" and "Cat," to which the two give their approval. With everything on their agenda complete, the divine guardians head to the pool with smiles on their faces.

Divine Generals: The D-G-A!
Anila: Looks like that's it for today's agenda.
Vajra: Then can we go find (Captain) now?
Catura: Wait... There's more... we have to talk about.
Vikala: There is?
Catura: We need to... make up with Tiare...
Kumbhira: Oh, that's right. Not that we're exactly in a fight or anything.
Mahira: Tiare's been so helpful during our time here. We should thank her properly.
Vajra: Hey, how about we go and say "Aloha" to her together?
Andira: Ooh, good idea! She did mention it was something you say to friends, right?
Catura: Aloha... Okay, why don't we go... and ask Tiare to be our friend?
Divine Generals: Approved!
Anila: Hehe. I think one of the reasons why we were able to get through the meeting so fast was because of Tiare. Isn't that right?
Vajra: Ahaha! That's what I was thinking too!
Vikala: Haha! All this time she kept telling us to relax, so how can we not?
Andira: O-oh, um, there's one more thing I want to talk about, if that's okay...
Anila: Hm? It's not like you to act so shy. What's the matter?
Andira: It's about Vikala and Catura...
Vikala & Catura: Hm?
Andira: Um, I was thinking... Vikala, would it be okay if I called you "Vicky"?
Andira: And Catura... do you think I can call you "Cat"?
Kumbhira: Hehe. Actually, it's been on Andira's mind this whole time, ever since we got here.
Andira: Hngh... Well, I've always wanted to give you nicknames, but I just couldn't find the right time to bring it up...
Catura: Of course you can, Andira... Call me Cat... as many times as you want!
Catura: And... you can snuggle up to me... anytime.
Andira: Oh, Cat!
Vikala: That makes me really happy too! Thanks, Andira!
Andira: Oh, Vicky!
Andira: Also... I really like you when you don't have your ears on too. Can I take them off for a second?
Vikala: Huh? Wait, wha...
Vikala: U-um, I-I'm really nothing without my ears... but if th-that's okay with you...
Andira: I think I'll call you Vikala when you don't have your ears on! Okay, Vikala?
Vikala: S-sure...
Vajra: Isn't that great, Andie?
Anila: Wonderful! Strengthening our relationships with one another is an important part of the Divine Generals Assembly too, after all!
Kumbhira: Doesn't look like there're any objections to this topic of discussion. I believe we have unanimous consent!
Andira: Hehe. Hooray!
Mahira: If Andie's happy, then I'm happy too. Is that all for the assembly then?
Anila: I think so! Shall we head to the pool and find (Captain) and the others?
Anila: All changed and ready to go!
Anila: ...
Kumbhira: We didn't actually need to change here, but we all naturally got into our swimwear right away...
Mahira: We may have gotten ahead of ourselves. What should we do?
Vajra: Well, we're already in our swimsuits, so let's head straight for the pool!
Andira: Yay! Let's go!
Vikala: Yeah! Come on, let's hurry to where everyone is!
Catura: (Captain)... I'm coming, so wait for me...
Kumbhira: Hey! No running in the hallway!
Anila: Oh dear, look at us walking about the hotel in our swimwear...
Anila: Hehe. But this, too, will certainly be something for us to remember.
