Although highly praised by mechanics for its incredible precision, this wrench is actually a product of tragedy. A gold brick had somehow ended up in the blast furnace of a steel factory; by the time workers had come up with a way to salvage it, the brick had already melted away. Not willing to let it go to waste entirely, the factory workers used the resulting alloy to manufacture the wrench in mass quantities and put them on the market. To prevent future reoccurrences, it became the "golden" rule to never again approach the blast furnace with a gold brick in hand. To the dismay of many a skyfarer, there appears to be no way to melt this wrench down and revert it to its original brick form.
