Chapter 73 Story: Orchis and Orchid

The former princess of Erste Kingdom. Orchis is a childhood friend of the Black Knight Apollonia as well as the model for Orchid's new vessel. With the reestablishment of Erste Kingdom, she ascended the throne to rule alongside her advisor, Adam. Although she is the same age as Apollonia, her previous ordeal as a spirit left both her body and mentality in a youthful state.

I mean the whole sky... I want everyone to be happy. I may not be able to live up to my mother's legacy, but this is now my responsibility. Oh... I'm sorry... I didn't mean to burden you with my worries... Um... What if we go eat mochi? The Erste House has their own way of enjoying them. Just this once, I'll teach it to you, (Captain)!
2	✔	Happy New Year! What was this past year like for you, (Captain)? Seeing you steadily working toward your goal of reaching Estalucia fills me with determination. I have my own lofty goal, you know. Sometimes I get discouraged because I'm so far from filling my mother's shoes though. Ahaha... Here I am again, starting off the new year with such serious talk. How about a snack? Are you up for another serving of the Erste royal family's famous sandstone mochi? You must have been surprised last year when I offered you something that looked like a hunk of rock from Mephorash! Well then, how about I serve it to you alongside a piece of actual sandstone, and you see if you can pick out the mochi? Haha, just kidding. You must be hungry though, right? So let's go eat! C'mon!

Every year I tell myself that I'll do whatever I can to secure peace for the people in these skies, but... Sometimes I wonder if I'm truly making progress in the right direction. It made me realize I always think in terms of nations or territories... And never in terms of "me." So my goal for this year is to find a "me-goal!" Yes, perhaps you're right. No matter what I give them, they'll take it if I put my heart into it. Those two might look a little scary, but they aren't going to reject anything I present them. I'd like to introduce the holiday to Mephorash too. I wonder if Adam would let me... Holidays like this encourage spending and stimulate the economy, so it'd be good for the country... Besides, it's important to honor the dead. C'mon, (Captain)! I've gotta soak up all the Halloween festivity I can if I'm gonna bring this holiday to Mephorash!
2	✔	Hehe, trick or treat! I know only kids are supposed to get candy today, but I look young enough to squeak by, don't I? I'm not just playing around though! This is an official investigation! When I talked to Adam about it last year, he said we would need to gather a lot more data before we could formulate a concrete proposal to introduce Halloween to Mephorash. What materials are used in the decorations, what kinds of candy need to be purchased, what flavors are in highest demand... All that stuff. So Adam and I are splitting the investigation. I'm in charge of pranks and candy sampling. What? What do you mean my cheeks are looking chubby? ... I don't have any cavities—look! So what if I gain a couple pounds!
