Super Ultimate Bahamut begins the raid with Fire TenetATK is boosted based on lvl (Can't be removed / Max: 10 / Lvl lowers each time a fire party cancels an Omen)
, Water TenetDebuff resistance is boosted based on lvl (Can't be removed / Max: 10 / Lvl lowers each time a water party cancels an Omen)

  • The potency of each buff is at its maximum at lvl 10 and will lower as omens are cancelled by the respective elements' teams.

Lowering Elemental Tenets is an important aspect of this raid. Listed below is a brief overview of each Tenet, listed in order of priority:

  • Earth TenetDEF is boosted based on lvl (Can't be removed / Max: 10 / Lvl lowers each time an earth party cancels an Omen)
    - Raises Bahamut's DEF. While this bonus can be ignored with a powerful grid, lowering this Tenet will help increase the overall damage output of all raid members.
  • Light TenetAll allies' HP is lowered at end of turn based on lvl (Can't be removed / Max: 10 / Lvl lowers each time a light party cancels an Omen)
    - Deals plain damage to all allies at the end of every turn. The damage taken is based off of maximum HP. At lvl 10, it can deal up to 5000 plain damage at the end of turn.
  • Wind TenetMultiattack rate is boosted based on lvl (Can't be removed / Max: 10 / Lvl lowers each time an wind party cancels an Omen)
    - Raises Bahmut's multiattack rate and most significantly at lvl 10, Bahamut has guaranteed triple attacks which can be deadly once his attacks hit all allies post 50%.
  • Water TenetDebuff resistance is boosted based on lvl (Can't be removed / Max: 10 / Lvl lowers each time a water party cancels an Omen)
    - Raises Bahamut's debuff resistance. At higher levels, many debuffs will miss against Bahamut however certain summons such as Thor and Beelzebub will land their debuffs regardless of Tenet lvl.
  • Fire TenetATK is boosted based on lvl (Can't be removed / Max: 10 / Lvl lowers each time a fire party cancels an Omen)
    - Raises Bahamut's ATK. While this may seem significant, attack down debuffs are multiplicative across different sources. Basically this means that with enough attack down sources, this Tenet can be completely negated without lowering its lvl.
  • Dark TenetNormal attacks have a chance to remove 2 buffs from targeted allies based on lvl (Can't be removed / Max: 10 / Lvl lowers each time a dark party cancels an Omen)
    - Gives Bahamut a chance to remove 2 buffs from allies targetted by attacks. This effect is largely irrelevant as it doesn't significantly impact team setups. Additionally, many important character buffs cannot be dispelled.

Phase 1

Phase 1 Overview

Goal:
  • Cancel as many omens as possible in order to lower Elemental TenetFire TenetATK is boosted based on lvl (Can't be removed / Max: 10 / Lvl lowers each time a fire party cancels an Omen)

  • Cancel as many  Arcadia omens as possible.
 Arcadia Omens

On every turn that is a multiple of 6, Bahamut will ready one of four random Arcadia omens. Each omen can only appear once and they will provide Bahamut with a permanent buff if they are not cancelled.

  • If an Arcadia omen turn lines up with a trigger based on boss HP%, the HP% trigger will take priority.
  • If any Arcadia omen is not displayed, Bahamut will gain the corresponding buff in the next phase.

 Daedalus Drive

At 75%, Bahamut will ready  Daedalus Drive, an uncancelable omen that deals 40,000 plain DMG to all allies. This omen will also inflict Strong ArmedCan't be healed (Can't be removed)
Duration: 6 turns
for 6T however it possesses some unique interactions.

If a character Substitutes (All-Ally) the omen, only that character will receive the debuff unless Bahamut has GodsightAttacks and debuffs don't miss (Regardless of debuffs or buffs like Blind, hit to accuracy, Mirror Image, debuff resistance, and debuff immunity / Can't be removed)
Local status effect
, in which case, the debuff is inflicted on all allies.

Make sure to heal up before tanking this omen. High Light TenetAll allies' HP is lowered at end of turn based on lvl (Can't be removed / Max: 10 / Lvl lowers each time a light party cancels an Omen)

can be quite a deadly combination.


◈◈ Full Diamonds
  • All of Bahamut's full diamond omens have a similar cancel condition, varying slightly between certain HP thresholds.
100% - 75%:  Deal 15,000,000 damage
75% - 51%:  Deal 20,000,000 damage

Phase 2

Phase 2 Overview

51% - 10%
Goal:
  • Deal 20,000,000 damage every turn.
  • Cancel as many  Arcadia omens as possible.
 Omnipotent Cocoon

At 51%, Bahamut will gain Omnipotent CocoonOne of Fire Tenet, Water Tenet, Earth Tenet, Wind Tenet, Light Tenet, or Dark Tenet rises by 1 lvl at end of turn (Can't be removed)
Local status effect
(Deal 50,000,000 DMG) for 5T. During this time, Bahamut will not attack but instead gain 1 lvl of a random Tenet at the end of each turn.

Once the Cocoon is removed, Bahamut will gain Unchallenged (10%)HP won't lower below 10% (Can't be removed)

and any buffs from Arcadia omens not displayed in the first phase. Additionally, Bahamut's normal attacks will hit all allies.

Since there are no significant detrimental effects, leaving the Cocoon phase can be delayed to avoid the turn-based mechanics.


Turn-based Mechanics

On every turn that is a multiple of 6, Bahamut will ready one of three random Arcadia omens. Each omen can only appear once and they will inflict an unremovable debuff on allies if they are not cancelled.

  • If any Arcadia omen is not displayed, allies will be inflicted with the corresponding debuff in the next phase.

    , Bahamut will ready a full diamond omen,  Crisis Crunch (Deal 20,000,000 DMG) every turn, provided an Arcadia omen is not present.
  • This omen deals 100% of an ally's max HP as plain DMG. It will also inflict Death IneluctableCan't be revived (Can't be removed)
    if the ally is knocked out.

Keep up the offensive!
Bahamut will knock us out one by one if we can't deal enough damage. Keep a close eye on the turn count too so we don't get caught off guard!

Phase 3

Phase 3 Overview

Phase 3
10% - 0%
Goal:
  • Debuff before 10%.
  • Survive  Sirius Origin.
  • Deal as much damage as possible!
 Sirius Origin

Once phase 3 begins, debuffs will no longer land against Bahamut. Debuff durations should be refreshed before entering phase 3.

At 10%, the boss will ready  Sirius Origin, an uncancellable omen that deals 99,999 plain DMG to 4 allies. This omen can be Substituted and in that case, the character that is substituting will receive 99,999 plain DMG.

  • After the omen, Bahamut will gain DrainHP is restored based on DMG dealt (Can't be removed)
    Duration: IndefiniteLocal status effect
    and inflict any debuffs from Arcadia omens not displayed in the second phase. Bahamut's charge diamonds will also be increased to a total of 9.
    • Bahamut will heal from attacking your team due to DrainHP is restored based on DMG dealt (Can't be removed)
      Duration: IndefiniteLocal status effect
      . If you are unable to out-dps his sustain, you should wait and allow your teammates to defeat the boss.
    • Quite often in Super Ultimate Bahamut raids, there will be a person dedicated to clearing the last 10% by themselves. Make sure to let them do their thing and not accidentally heal the boss.

 Genesis Nova
  • Once the boss's charge diamonds are full, Bahamut will perform  Genesis Nova which deals 999,999 plain DMG to all allies. It will also inflict Death IneluctableCan't be revived (Can't be removed)
    on any allies who are knocked out.
  • This omen is essentially a party wipe unless your team has a character with Substitute (All-Ally) and UndyingCan withstand lethal DMG (Leaves 1 HP)
    . Certain examples include:
    • Shieldsworn Deploy Shield of ValorCan't normal attack or use charge attack / Receives all attacks in place of allies (Includes all-ally attacks) / DEF is boosted / Caps DMG taken at 5,000 per hit / Counters upon taking DMG / At end of turn: 1100% elemental DMG to all foes / DMG taken is amplified (20 hits)
