Yay, a present! Ahaha, thanks!
Now what could it be? A legendary bow? The ultimate armor? Or maybe even a pot of gold?
Ahaha, I'm just ribbing ya! Anything I get from you makes me happy, (Captain).

2

Yahoo! You shouldn't have, (Captain)!
You bet I'm happy! How could I not be when I get a present from you?
Can I open it now? What am I saying; of course I can't. I'll do it when no one else is around.
Hehehe! Can't wait to do this again next year!

3

What's up, (Captain)? Why'ja call me out here?
A present? Oh, for White Day!
I'm humbled and a little blushy!
I was wondering why you'd ask me to come to this place.
Ahaha! Awkward! But I really appreciate the thought you put in for me.
Well, how's about we get outta here? I'll take you on a date!

4

(Captain), what did you suddenly call me out here for?
Wh-White Day? Ah, right, it's today.
I tend to forget about White Day since I don't have to prepare anything.
Anyhoo, thanks for the chocolate! I'm sure I'll love it!
What's that? You wanna have a date with me this year too? Sure! How 'bout we go around town checking out all the yummy eats?

5

Whoops, I overslept. And here I was planning to buy some island specialty snacks from the market this morning...
Sigh... That makes me a super sad Feena. Oh well, guess I'll go back to sleep...
Oh? What's up, (Captain)?
Oh yeah, today's White Day! Thanks for bringing me a gift!
Huh? Sniff, sniff... That uniquely bitter odor...
Wait, that's the special snack I was going to buy! Is that for me too? Seriously?
Yaaay! You're the best, (Captain)! I love you!
Come on, let's eat them together! I bet you're curious how they taste too, right?

The Blackbow Mercs

One day after the business with the goblins has concluded, Feena heads out on a request to cull monsters. She saves a young mercenary beset by the Blackbow Mercs, a group that assails other mercenaries to claim their share of the rewards. Shortly thereafter, their leader Geralt arrives with the Greatbow Rondor—he says he claimed the impressive weapon after killing Lydia, Feena's master. Feena attacks but, weakened after defending the young mercenary earlier, is overwhelmed. Geralt espouses his profit-driven philosophy once more before abandoning the scene.

Feena: Isn't this the same forest... as back then?
Monster: Groar...
Young Feena: Here, you can have the mushroom! It's kinda too gross for my taste buds anyway!
Monster: Groooar!
Young Feena: Eep!
Young Feena: Huh?
???: That was a close one, bud!
???: You're fine now though! The invincibly cool Lydia has your back!
Young Feena: Wow!
Feena: She looked so cool with that confident smile and black bow in her hands.
Feena: That was the moment I knew, I wanted to be just like her...
Goblin Mage: Fee! Hang in there, Fee!
Feena: Goblin... Mage?
Goblin Mage: Oh, it's so good to see you awake!
???: I feel the same way. Would've kept me up at night if you'd kicked the bucket here.
Feena: Uh... Remind me who you are?
???: Damn... I'd normally take that personally, but I guess a lot's happened. Give it a minute and you might remember.
Feena purses her lips in thought, trying to focus past the dull pain coursing through her body.
Some time has passed since all the business with the goblins was brought to a close.
Feena ventures out alone for the day, having accepted a request to cull the local monster population.
???: Ngh!
Feena: Whoa, are you okay?
Coming upon a man clutching an injured leg, Feena rushes to his aid.
Feena: You're a mercenary just like me, aren't you? Did the monsters get you?
Young Merc: No, not them... The Blackbow Mercs took a shot at me.
Feena: The Blackbow Mercs?
Young Merc: It's a group run by some guy with a black bow, hence the name. Not what they're officially called of course, but that's what the rest of us settled on.
Young Merc: Me and them were exterminating the same monsters, when they took advantage of the chaos and turned on me.
Feena: That's horrible! Why would they do that? Weren't you guys supposed to be working together?
Young Merc: Why else? Less competition means more monsters to turn in for themselves.
Young Merc: You be careful if you see them around. They're not above playing dirty for money.
Feena: ...
Feena: (A black bow? It couldn't be.)
Feena: You're not gonna go far with your leg in that shape. I'll carry you to the nearest guild outpost!
Young Merc: It's fine, I can just prop myself up with a stick and limp my way out...
Feena: And what if you run into a pack of monsters? Come on, hop on my back!
Young Merc: Huh... You're so nice, it's kinda hard to believe you're a merc.
Feena: Now that's just rude! I'll have you know, I'm the invincibly cute Feena—
Monsters: Groooar!
Feena: Does no one around here have any manners? I was in the middle of introducing myself!
Feena: And you brought way too many friends!
Monsters: Groar!
Feena: Yeowch! Okay, now you've done it!
Despite the size of the horde, Feena stands her ground to protect the injured man, even as the monsters threaten to overwhelm her.
Young Merc: We're both gonna bite it at this rate! Just leave me!
Feena: Nuh-uh, not happening!
Feena: Hey, good timing! We could use a hand here!
???: ...
Feena's request for help falls on deaf ears, as the armed men simply smile and watch the unfolding struggle.
Feena: What's the big idea? You could at least call for backup or something—
Young Merc: Don't bother reasoning with 'em... They're the ones who tried to do me in!
Feena: Say what?
Monsters: Grooar!
Feena: Urk!
Feena: Is that all you got? I'll teach you to mess with me!
Monsters: Grrr...
Feena: Pant... Pant...
Blackbow Merc 1: Tch, you were supposed to soften them up before kicking the bucket—not win.
Blackbow Merc 2: How about we just kill them both and take credit for the little lady's hard work?
Feena: S-seriously? That's messed up...
Exhausted from the monsters, Feena can only watch as the two bloodthirsty men approach with weapons drawn.
Man's Voice: That's enough.
Blackbow Merc 1: C-Captain Geralt! But these two—
Geralt: The woman's name is Feena. She's got close connections with a famous crew and the Mercenary's Guild.
Geralt: You'd better think carefully about the risks before killing someone like her. But if you insist on acting like a brainless beast...
The man named Geralt menacingly grips his black bow, which is enough to send his mercenaries scrambling away.
Feena: I don't think we've met before. How do you know who I am?
Geralt: Huh... What an interesting question.
Feena: ...?
Geralt: I suppose these things do happen. We'll be leaving now.
Feena: Hold it!
Feena: I have to know... Where'd you get that bow from?
Geralt: ...
Feena: I'd recognize it anywhere. That's the same one that my master... That Lydia used!
Geralt: Is that right? That's too bad then.
Geralt: I killed its previous owner.
Feena: ...!
Feena: Y-you... did what to Lydia?
Geralt: Since she was your master, I suppose I can offer a more detailed explanation.
Geralt: It happened while she was running around the battlefield helping others, even though she was a mercenary herself.
Geralt: Exactly like you were doing. Except her luck ran out.
Geralt: I happened to be in the neighborhood and recognized the value of the black bow she carried... I'm sure you can figure the rest out.
Blackbow Merc 1: The legendary greatbow Rondor—a relic worth more than you and me combined.
Blackbow Merc 2: Waste your time with charity, and you lose both your treasure and your life! Your master was an idiot!
Feena: Shut up... Don't you dare insult her!
Blackbow Merc 2: Whoa!
Feena: Gah!
Blackbow Merc 1: Haha, careful now or you might hurt yourself! Hell, you might even bite it like your ol' master if you keep that up!
Feena: Pant... Wheeze...
Collapsed on the ground, Feena glares up at Geralt as he slowly walks closer.
Geralt: Honestly, Feena. We should learn from your master's mistake.
Geralt: Mercenaries need only prioritize what makes a profit.
Geralt: Kindness is just a weakness that gets you taken advantage of in our world.
Too weak to react, Feena simply listens to the footsteps of the man and his mercenaries as they march away.
Eventually, the sounds fade alongside Feena's slipping consciousness.
Feena: Lydia...
With her last bit of strength, she calls for someone that can no longer answer.

The Invincible Feena

The young mercenary carries an unconscious Feena to the nearest guild outpost, meeting Goblin Mage on the way. Once Feena wakes, she answers Goblin Mage's questions about Lydia and explains that her master took her in and raised her to adulthood. Feena doesn't hate Geralt for killing Lydia, as her master fully understood the risks of being a mercenary, but she grieves her passing nonetheless.

Leaving the ship for a solo foray, Feena has accepted a job exterminating a large group of monsters in the forest.
However, an unfortunate run-in with the Blackbow Mercs, a group not above attacking fellow mercenaries to increase their own profits, left Feena in dire straits.
When she next wakes, she finds herself being nursed back to health at a guild outpost.
Feena: Ah! Now I remember! But... what happened after I conked out in the forest?
Young Merc: Obviously, I had to carry you all the way here. I even did you a favor and reported the job's success to the requester.
Feena: Whoa, I owe you my life! No wonder you were upset I forgot who you were! My bad!
Young Merc: You saved my hide, I saved yours. Now we're even.
Feena: There's just one thing I don't get. Why are you here, Goblin Mage? Last I checked, you were on the ship.
Goblin Mage: I had a bad feeling, so I went into town to wait for you and ran into this man...
Young Merc: She said she knew you, so I let her tag along.
Feena: Is that right... Sorry to worry you.
Goblin Mage: He told me about how the mean mercenaries came after you...
Feena: Oh yeah! That guy had Lydia's bow!
Feena: Ow!
Young Merc: Would you calm down? The doctors might've treated you, but your body still needs to heal.
Feena: Dang it...
The injured woman settles back down onto the bed, which gives Goblin Mage enough time to pluck up the courage to speak.
Goblin Mage: Can I ask about this Lydia person? Did she help you, like how you helped me?
Feena: Of course you can ask, but haven't I already told you about her? She's the invincibly dangerous mercenary that took me in when I was young!
Goblin Mage: Um... This is my first time hearing about it.
Feena: W-wait, have I really never mentioned her until now?
Young Merc: Eh, it's not often the chance to blab about your past comes around.
Goblin Mage: I'm really curious. What was she like?
Feena: Hmm... Maybe I should start at the beginning.
Feena: This must've been, oh, ten years or so ago? I was out in the forest collecting mushrooms when a bunch of monsters showed up outta nowhere...
Young Feena: Eep!
Young Feena: Huh?
???: That was a close one, bud!
Lydia: You're fine now though! The invincibly cool Lydia has your back!
Lydia: Good thing I passed by. Are you lost? I can help you look for your parents.
Young Feena: I don't got any! I'm traveling around all by myself. Pretty cool, right?
Lydia: Oh, wow. That is impressive!
Young Feena: Thanks, lady! I gotta keep collecting mushrooms for a request, so see ya!
Lydia: Wait! You're headed towards more—
Young Feena: Eek!
Young Feena: Thanks again! I can't believe you saved me twice!
Lydia: Neither can I. How in the skies did you make it this far in life with instincts like that?
Lydia: Listen, me and mine are set up around here for the time being. You could stay with us if you want.
Young Merc: You joined up with her, just like that?
Feena: It's not like I had anywhere else to be.
Feena: Anyway, Lydia was a super skilled merc, and she made sure I was welcome in her group of pals.
Feena: Lydia taught me a lot in the time we spent together, like how to use a bow and ways to hunt monsters...
Lydia: All right, your next task is to shoot this apple off the top of my head!
Young Feena: Huh? That's way too dangerous!
Lydia: Nah, any pupil of mine can manage this much! Now focus up!
Young Feena: Whaaat?
Young Feena: Gosh, that's a lotta mushrooms! They're all different colors too!
Lydia: For today's experiment—I mean training... We're going to test out which of these 'shrooms are poisonous!
Young Feena: Uh...
Lydia: This is the kinda stuff you only figure out through experience! Plus, we can probably tell which ones are super bad based on the smell! I think so, at least...
Lydia: Phew! Nothing beats a cold drink at the end of a work day.
Young Feena: What're you eating?
Lydia: It's bottarga, a specialty from Auguste. The taste might be a little mature for you, but you're welcome to try some.
Young Feena: Nom... It's... good, I think?
Lydia: Huh, well I'll be. Maybe you'll like some of the other odd foods I've got around.
Feena: I built up my invincibility and cuteness through all our training together.
Feena: At some point, we went our separate ways... But now that I think about it, that was after she made sure I could survive on my own.
Goblin Mage: Did you become a mercenary because of Lydia?
Feena: Hm, I wonder. She definitely played a part, but I also did a bunch of jobs that pushed me in that direction.
Feena: I always did admire how cool and unbeatable she looked with that bow in her hands...
Feena: A part of me believed she'd show up again one day, just like that...
Geralt: I killed its previous owner.
Feena: ...
Goblin Mage: Fee, you know... Revenge is never worth it.
Feena: Oh! No, I'm not thinking about that. Not at all.
Young Merc: Really? You're more cold-hearted than I expected.
Feena: Mm, you think? It's just... Lydia loved being a mercenary, and she accepted all aspects of the job.
Feena: I do feel really torn up about her being gone, but I don't hate Geralt for it. Does that make sense?
Young Merc: Huh... I take it back. You're just tougher than I gave you credit for.
With an awkward smile, Feena shakes her head in disagreement. Her mind wanders back to what Geralt said.
Feena: (It's finally hitting me now...)
Feena: (She's gone... Even though it felt like nothing would ever stop her...)

The Invincible Feena: Scene 2

The young mercenary points out how strange it is for mercenaries to save others in the first place, which causes Feena to question why Lydia saved her. Goblin Mage then points out that Feena saved her just as Lydia saved Feena, and that she is forever grateful for it. Moved by the earnest words, Feena remembers who she is and the person she wants to become.

The next day, Feena is well enough to join the young mercenary on a foraging trip through the woods.
Feena: Mushrooms, mushrooms, mushrooms and more! Veggies, veggies, veggies galore!
Young Merc: Can you really down all that by yourself?
Feena: No, silly! I figured we could share with all the others at the outpost and have a meal together!
Young Merc: You wanna share... for free? What, are you throwing poisonous mushrooms into the mix too?
Feena: You're being rude again! I promise my unbeatable powers of deduction helped me pick out the most delicious and edible of the bunch!
Young Merc: If you know how to identify which ones are safe, then that means you know exactly which types are deadly.
Feena: Just what is your problem? If it's a fight you want, then I'm ready to throw hands!
Young Merc: All I'm saying is, most mercs are usually wary of others.
Feena: Wha...
Young Merc: You can be nice. Just don't let your kindness bite you in the ass.
Feena: Hm... That's the kind of stuff I'd expect the Blackbow Mercs to be saying.
Young Merc: They take things to the extreme, but they have a point. We're all scrapping for the same rewards on the battlefield, which makes us rivals.
Young Merc: Let your guard down, and someone you thought a friend could stab you in the back. It's a common enough occurrence in our field of work.
Feena: ...
Young Merc: Listen, it's not that I'm not grateful you saved my life, but I just can't fully trust you if you're a merc too.
Feena: I'm back...
Goblin Mage: Fee! Welcome back!
Goblin Mage: Wow, you really found a lot of food! That's my Fee!
Feena: ...
Without uttering a word, Feena plops down her large basket and throws herself onto the bed.
Goblin Mage: Fee...
Goblin Mage takes a seat by Feena's side and pats her comfortingly on the head.
Feena: Wha... Wait! My hair's all gross from being outside!
Goblin Mage: Doesn't matter to me!
Goblin Mage: You always pat my head and listen to me whenever I can't sleep. Now it's my turn.
Feena: Goblin Mage...
Goblin Mage: I'm grown up now, so you can tell me anything that's on your mind.
Feena: ...
The warmth of Goblin Mage's hand is enough to melt away the last bit of Feena's reluctance.
Feena: Is it weird for mercenaries to offer a hand to those in need?
Feena: I get that everyone's had to fight for themselves to make it through life.
Feena: But if that's all there is for us... Why did Lydia save me?
Goblin Mage: ...
Feena: Ahaha, I don't know why I'm asking. It's not like she's around to answer.
Goblin Mage: I can't tell you what Lydia would say, but there is one thing I do know.
Grinning brightly, Goblin Mage reaches into her pocket and pulls out a bright, sparkling object.
Feena: Is that a piece of jewelry? It's on the tiny side, but it's pretty.
Goblin Mage: It's the shiny piece you gave me on the day we met, Fee.
Feena: It's from me?
Goblin Mage: It was right after you saved me from being kidnapped...
Feena: You okay? That was pretty scary, huh.
Goblin Mage: Ah...
Feena: I guess I must seem pretty scary to you too. There's gotta be something I can do to help you relax...
Goblin Mage: Shiny!
Feena: Urk... You like this gem?
Feena: You got quite the eye for treasure! A rich requester gave it to me just yesterday!
Feena: Haha... Oh well. The stars must've aligned so that I'd hand it over to you now!
Feena: Here you go! If you like shiny things, maybe you should stick with me from now on. How's that sound?
Goblin Mage: ...!
Goblin Mage: I saw you look at your wallet later and give it a big sigh. It must have cost you a lot to gift it to me.
Feena: You saw that? Oh nooo! I must've looked so lame!
Goblin Mage: That's not true! It was super cool of you!
Goblin Mage: I feel like what you did for me back then was like what Lydia did for you.
The jewel in Goblin Mage's hand catches the light, sparkling even more brightly than before.
Goblin Mage: I don't really understand a lot of things, like what mercenaries should and shouldn't do...
Goblin Mage: All I know is... I really love you the way you are, Fee!
Feena: ...!
Goblin Mage: Thank you for saving me! I'll always be grateful to you for that!
Feena: Goblin Mage!
Unable to contain the swell of emotion in her heart, Feena shoots upright and scoops Goblin Mage into a tight hug.
Feena: I should be thanking you! I don't know where I'd be without you by my side!
Goblin Mage: Ehehe...
Feena: (The reason Lydia... No, the reason I saved Goblin Mage...)
Lydia: You're fine now though! The invincibly cool Lydia has your back!
Feena: (The reason why I also call myself invincible...)
Making up her mind, Feena begins to put together a plan.

The Invincible Feena: Scene 3

A while later, Feena finds Geralt again. She finally remembers that he was also Lydia's disciple and asks to talk. He admits that he lied about killing Lydia, explaining that she was actually forced to retire due to the injuries she received from protecting him. His regrets led him to create a profit-driven mercenary band—that way, no one would sacrifice themselves for someone else. His words are tested when he instinctively protects one of his men from an attack. As he falls unconscious, he realizes he's more like Lydia than he thought.

Some time has passed since Feena's encounter with the Blackbow Mercs.
Today is just another day for the leader of the cutthroat mercenary band, who brandishes his black bow in a menacing display.
Geralt: Not a bad deal, right? Just leave this job to us.
Cowardly Merc: F-for a measly hundred rupies? You're out of your mind!
Blackbow Merc 1: Keep whining about it, and you'll be getting a lot more than you bargained for.
Feena: Yoohoo! 'Scuse me!
Blackbow Merc 2: Huh?
Feena: The invincibly cute Feena is here, completely uninvited but ready to run some interference!
Feena: I'll always rescue anyone in need of a hand!
Cowardly Merc: Eek!
Blackbow Merc 1: Damn it, there goes our prey!
Geralt: Feena... You do realize there are consequences for costing us money.
Feena: Didn't you hear me? I rescue anyone and everyone who needs help.
Feena: That includes you, Geralt.
Geralt: Is that a roundabout way of saying you're here for revenge?
Feena: I spent some time looking into you. Seems like you used to be a helper for the guild.
Feena: Your record was squeaky clean, at least up until you picked up that bow.
Geralt: ...
I see there's no point speaking with you.
Geralt: New job, everyone. Whoever shuts the woman up gets a prize.
Blackbow Mercs: Yes, sir!
The moment the Blackbow Mercs descend upon Feena, the nimble woman leaps swiftly away.
As Feena comes to a stop, Goblin Mage emerges from where she'd been hiding in the trees.
Feena: Sorry to drag you into this! Can you back me up?
Goblin Mage: Of course! You want to talk with them, right? So no making them go nighty-night?
Feena: Yeah, that's right! Let's show these meanies what real teamwork looks like!
Blackbow Merc 1: Tch, trying to use distance to your advantage?
Between Goblin Mage's fiery spells and Feena's barrage of arrows, the mercenaries are unable to draw close.
Geralt: As impressive as that was, they didn't hit any of us. Wait for them to exhaust their resources before advancing.
Feena: We're not trying to hit you, dummy! I just wanna talk!
Geralt: ...
Feena: I get where you've been coming from. I probably don't have the right to stop you, despite your despicable behavior.
Geralt: So you realized it. Mercenary work is all about securing as much profit as possible.
Feena: Maybe for some! But I wonder if that's the case for you, Geralt... You're not even a mercenary!
Geralt: ...!
Feena: I'm not here to debate details though! I just wanna talk with you, person to person—
Geralt: There's a gap in their barrage. Fire back!
The mercenary leader raises his black bow and shoots an arrow directly at Feena.
The projectile flies true through smoke and bullets from the other mercenaries' guns.
Feena: Urk...
Goblin Mage: Fee!
Geralt: Feena! Why didn't you dodge that?
Feena: Just like I thought... You aren't shooting to kill at all!
Blackbow Merc 1: She's messing with us! Fire back while we have the chance!
Young Merc: I can't believe she took an arrow on purpose. It's like she's got zero self-preservation instincts, I swear.
Blackbow Merc 1: It's you! Why the hell're you taking her side!
Young Merc: A good question... I guess it's just 'cause I feel like it.
Young Merc: Hah!
Blackbow Merc 1: Gah!
Blackbow Merc 2: You gotta be kidding me... Screw this crap, and screw you!
Geralt: Hey! Get back here!
Blackbow Merc 2: Sorry, but I don't see how any of this is gonna be worth it to me!
Soon enough, other Blackbow mercenaries abandon ship as well, until only Geralt is left standing.
Clutching her injury, Feena slowly approaches the lone man.
Geralt: Back off! Stay away from me!
Feena: If there's not a single part of you that cares about helping others, then fine. I'm not here to discuss that.
Feena: Goblin Mage reminded me about something way more important.
Feena: Before I'm a mercenary... I'm the invincibly cute Feena!
Geralt: Before you're a mercenary...
Feena: I think that's what mattered most to my master too.
Feena: Or should I say... our master.
Geralt: ...!
Feena: You're Mr. Geralt, back from my days with Lydia, aren't you? That'd explain why you recognized me from the get-go.
Feena: Sorry I forgot about you! My memory's not the greatest, and I was super young then.
Feena: But the more I saw you wielding that bow, the clearer everything became to me.
Feena: Whenever me and Lydia got sick from eating poisonous mushrooms, you'd make us medicine... You also always bought us bottarga too!
Geralt: So what if you know who I am now? This changes nothing.
Feena: Are you kidding? This changes everything!
Feena: I know what you're like, Mr. Geralt. You totally lied about killing Lydia.
Feena: So tell me. What really happened?
Geralt: I... wasn't lying.
Geralt: Lydia stupidly protected someone else on the battlefield...
Geralt: And that someone was me.
Feena: ...!
Geralt: Her injuries forced her to retire, so she's living out the rest of her days in some remote country village.
Geralt: So she's not dead, but her career is. All because of me.
Feena: That means that... she's alive...
Feena: Which also means that you didn't take that bow. She gave it to you.
Geralt: I was tired of seeing kind people getting hurt on someone else's behalf.
Geralt: So I made my own mercenary band. Fat lot of good that did...
Feena: Would you look at that. You also wanted to be invincibly strong too.
Geralt: What... do you mean?
Feena: All that stuff you did to scare people away? Deep down, you just didn't want anyone to bite off more than they could chew.
Feena: If you ask me, that's kindness in its own right. You're just as nice as Lydia!
Geralt: ...!
Geralt: Me... The same as Lydia?
Cowardly Merc: Heheh... Th-thanks for the distraction, lady!
A single mercenary returns to the battlefield and points the tip of his gun at a Blackbow merc on the ground.
Cowardly Merc: I bet the bounty on these folks'll be huge... Dead or alive!
Blackbow Merc 1: Ah...
Cowardly Merc: I prefer dead!
Geralt: ...!
Geralt: Argh...
Feena: Mr. Geralt!
Cowardly Merc: Haha... Hahaha! I did it, hahaha!
Goblin Mage: O-oh no... That's a lot of blood...
Young Merc: Why'd you go and throw yourself in the damn line of fire?
Geralt: Dunno... Body... moved on its own...
Feena: Sheesh... All that stuff about watching out for only yourself, and you go and do that!
Geralt: Sorry, Feena... Always was a stubborn one, ever since I was a kid...
Geralt: I really did... just want to be like Lydia...
The man trails off before he can finish, as the blood loss proves to be too much.
Feena: No... Hey, come on, get up!
Feena: Mr. Geralt!
Feena shakes the unconscious man to no avail.

The Invincible Feena: Scene 4

Days turn into months. Now fully healed, Geralt has left behind his life as a mercenary to start up a dried food business, hoping to support others in his own way. He hands the Greatbow Rondor to Feena, saying that when he met with Lydia, she also wished for Feena to inherit it. Accepting the bow, Feena swears to follow her own path and one day become even better than Lydia.

A while has gone by since Feena's encounter with Geralt.
In the middle of a busy shopping street, Feena and Goblin Mage meet someone in front of a store.
Geralt: I'm really sorry about everything.
Feena: It's fine, totally fine! You had us worried for a minute, but it all worked out!
Goblin Mage: Thanks to you, Fee! You carried him on your back and ran straight for town!
Young Merc: Maybe like halfway though. 'Cause of course you forgot about your own injury and fainted along the way.
Young Merc: Then I had to drag both of you back to town by myself.
Feena: Yeah, yeah! You're invincibly strong, and I am too!
Geralt: Do... you know what the word invincible even means?
Feena: So Mr. Geralt, how're you liking your new life? No regrets quitting the merc biz and starting up your own shop?
Geralt: Not so far. The dried food business is going pretty good... I've imported bottarga and other goodies from Auguste too.
Geralt: Took me a while to come up with the idea, but now I can live a life I'm proud of and help others in my own way.
Feena: That's the spirit! Love seeing that all my scolding paid off and got a brand new business off the ground!
Geralt: Hah... You're just like Lydia when you let the confidence get to your head.
Young Merc: By the way, I also quit the merc life and started working at the shop. My stuff's not perfect yet, but it's still pretty tasty.
Goblin Mage: Everything here looks old... Don't you have anything new and shiny?
Geralt: Haha... Guess you're still too young to get the appeal.
Geralt: Honestly, this doesn't feel real. Never thought there'd be a day I'd be giving my dried goods as an apology to you...
Feena: Life's full of surprises! Speaking of which, you definitely brought bottarga, right?
Geralt: Of course I did. That, and this.
Geralt holds up a familiar black bow and presents it to Feena.
Feena: Whoa! I appreciate the gesture, but Lydia gave it to you!
Geralt: A bit ago, I actually grabbed some dried goods and went to see her.
Geralt: I hadn't spoken with her since the day I originally left... but I finally sorted myself out and plucked up the courage.
Geralt: Both of us decided that the bow should go to you. We want you to have it.
Feena: Seriously? Lydia thought so too...
Grappling with a host of emotions, Feena slowly reaches out to the bow and picks it up.
Feena: It looks exactly like it did the first time I saw it. You took good care of it, huh?
Geralt: Wasn't much of a choice. Lydia would've eaten me alive if I hadn't.
Feena: She sure would've, even though she never takes care of her stuff herself.
Geralt: Right? She was always terrible at organizing her arrows in particular...
The discussion turns to tales of their master as the two share memories.
Once Feena returns to her room aboard the ship, she poses in front of the mirror with her new bow in hand.
Feena: Wow, I look almost too good with this thing!
Feena: Inheriting it is serious business... but I'll also carve my own way forward and become better than even Lydia someday!
Feena: Hope you're ready, world—the invincibly cute Feena is coming at you!
Despite feeling the weight of her master's black bow, Feena stands tall and fearless.
Whatever the future holds, her tale is just getting started.
