Fistful of Love
On a small remote island, the crew finds a priest in the middle of some miasma, fishing without a care in the world. They join forces to take on the monsters causing the miasma.
Sensing a strange miasma, (Captain)'s crew touches down on a tiny island in the middle of nowhere.
The miasma has drained the island inhabitants of their vigor and hope.
Vyrn: Yikes... The miasma's ruining the whole island.
Lyria: Over there! I sense monsters near the spring up ahead.
Vyrn: All right! Let's go! We can't just stand here when there are monsters on the loose. Right, (Captain)?
Hazen: Hmmm... They're just not biting. Could my bait be to blame?
Vyrn: Whoa! Look, (Captain)! That guy's fishing right in the middle of the miasma!
Vyrn: Hey! What are you thinking? It's dangerous out here!
Hazen: How about that! Never thought I'd meet a talking lizard! How d'you do?
Hazen: Hazen's the name. I'm but a humble priest on a journey to offer comfort to those who need it most.
Vyrn: Hmm... Well, we're a crew of skyfarers. And this is our captain, who you can call—
Vyrn: Ah, no, no, this isn't the time for hellos! We're both bein' way too casual!
Vyrn: Whaddaya think you're doing, fishing in a place like this?
Hazen: Oh, you mean all of this? This is indeed quite a nasty miasma.
Vyrn: Nothing fazes you, huh?
Hazen: Well I don't know about all that. I am a priest, after all! This is really nothing!
Vyrn: Um... I didn't mean that as a compliment!
Hazen: I must say, this miasma is causing the people of this island quite a bit of trouble.
Hazen: The monsters in the spring are behind it. I thought I might be able to lure them out with a fishing pole... like this...
Vyrn: Forget it! You'll never be able to catch monsters with a little fishing pole!
Hazen: You think so? Maybe I need to try some bigger bait...
Vyrn: Geez... (Captain), Preacher Man here is pretty spacey.
Lyria: Please, Hazen! Do you think you could leave the monsters to (Captain) and me?
Hazen: I think not! How could I let children like you march into the clutches of beasts!
Vyrn: Who're ya calling kids? Just watch! We'll send them running back to their monster mommies!
Vyrn: Let's go, (Captain)! We're gonna show Preacher Man what's what!
With a spectacular display of teamwork, (Captain) and company take care of the monsters in the spring.
Hazen is shocked by their actions and clenches his meaty fists in anger.
Hazen: Yes, I can see now. You're quite the formidable bunch... but still!
Vyrn: Hey now... We took care of the monsters, so what are you so steamed about, Preacher Man?
Hazen: You threw yourselves into danger's way, ignoring the commands of an adult! I certainly can't praise you for that.
Lyria: Sigh... You might have a point.
Hazen: Pride comes before the fall... As long as you understand that, we're fine.
Hazen: And we have bigger problems anyway. It seems that the disappearance of the miasma has made the other monsters more fearless.
Hazen: But I want you to leave this to me. You get yourselves to safety. Understood?
Vyrn: Wow! Preacher Man seemed really spacey, but now he's kicking serious butt!
Vyrn: There's one over there! Get 'em...
Hm... it feels weird to see a priest swinging his fists at monsters.
Hazen: Phew... That takes care of most of them.
Vyrn: That was incredible! You're a lot tougher than you look...
Vyrn: Ouch! Hey! What was that for?
Hazen: Maybe that'll clear some of the wax out of your ears! What did I say?
Lyria: Um... You told us to get to safety.
Vyrn: But you didn't have to thump me!
Hazen: That was just a love tap. Maybe it'll teach you to mind your elders.
- Are you that worried?
- Can't make any promises.
Choose: Are you that worried?Hazen: Worried? Indeed I am. But I've just had the most marvelous idea! You did say you were skyfarers, didn't you?
Choose: Can't make any promises.Hazen: I was afraid you would say that. But I've just had the most marvelous idea! You did say you were skyfarers, didn't you?
Continue 1Hazen: I should join you on your journey. Yes, yes. A great idea, if I do say so myself. That should keep you out of trouble, eh?
Vyrn: Say what? Hold it right there! Wait, (Captain). What d'you mean, "welcome aboard?"
Vyrn: Just... Just keep your fists to yourself!
Hazen: That depends on you, my friend!
Lyria: I-I'll be good! I swear!
Hazen: Good. Thanks to you, this town's finally got something to wake up to in the morning... Shall we be going?
(Captain) and company set off once again with their new companion, Hazen the wind priest.
The Mountain God
(Captain) and company arrive in a village troubled by monsters and decide to save the mountain-god worshipping villagers there.
Hazen, (Captain), and the rest of the crew arrive at a village inhabited by pious people.
Hazen: This brings back memories... How many years has it been? This village used to be dilapidated, but now it's bustling! How wonderful!
Villager: Oh, I can hardly believe my eyes! Father Hazen! You've come back to our village!
Villager: Father Hazen! Thanks to you, our crops are plentiful, and our children are growing like weeds!
Vyrn: What's going on? Preacher Man's so popular here!
Villager: Of course he is! Father Hazen saved us when our crops wouldn't grow and this village was poor!
Lyria: That's amazing! So everyone in this village is smiling because of you, Hazen?
Hazen: Of course not! The villagers worked hard for what they've got. They earned their smiles.
Vyrn: Hm? What's with all the noise? Is there something at the entrance of the village?
Villager: What? They're back? And just when Father Hazen showed up, too...
Villager: Oh dear! Hurry up and get the children to safety! Father Hazen, please hide here for the time being.
Vyrn: Hey! What's going on here!
Lyria: Uh-oh... I can tell there are monsters here. They're coming from over there, (Captain)!
Hazen: Monsters? What are you talking about? I thought this village was supposed to be safe.
Villager: Well... We did enjoy peace for some time thanks to you, but it seems that the mountain god has been enraged...
Hazen: The mountain god?
Villager: We've prayed to the mountain god daily, but we are unable to quell his wrath. And now the monsters are here!
Hazen: You must have suffered greatly...
Vyrn: All right! The monsters are close! We can talk later! C'mon, (Captain)!
The Mountain God: Scene 2
After defeating the monsters in the village, (Captain) and company head to the mountain thought to be the source of the problem. A brutal monster that commands forest beasts lies in wait for them there.
Villager: Oh! What a surprise! It's not just Father Hazen. The rest of you seem really strong, too!
Vyrn: When it comes to monster hunting, there's no better captain than (Captain)!
Hazen: Pride comes before the fall. You know that. Still, I'm worried about what's happening up on the mountain.
Vyrn: Then let's go investigate! Right, (Captain)?
Vyrn: Hmm... So this is the god's mountain...
Lyria: Really? All I sense here is a powerful monster.
Hazen: But if there really is a god, I'd sure like to meet him!
Vyrn: Hey! Are you sure a priest should be saying things like that?
Hazen: Why not? Shouldn't I be interested in the one I serve?
Lyria: Hee-hee! I'd like to meet a god, too!
Vyrn: Um... Guys? This is really no time for silly chitchat.
Vyrn: Look at that thing! It's huge!
Hazen: Oh! You know, this god looks an awful lot like a beast to me!
Vyrn: That's no god. It's obviously a monster!
Vyrn: This is no time to be spacey! Look! The enemy noticed us!
Vyrn: You ready, (Captain)? That's the leader of the monsters in the mountains. Let's take the fight to it!
The Mountain God: Scene 3
Thanks to (Captain) and company, peace has returned to the village. The pious villagers will forever remember the heroic acts of (Captain), Hazen, and the rest of the company.
Vyrn: You did it, (Captain)! You wasted that beast in no time!
Vyrn: Ha-ha! The villagers shouldn't have to worry about monsters now!
Hazen: So the boss of the monsters was the mountain god?
Vyrn: Don't be so thick! That was just one more monster, not a god!
Hazen: What? Accursed monster! How dare you deceive a priest!
Vyrn: Sigh... I'd say you fooled yourself, Preacher Man. Do you need me to explain everything?
Vyrn: All right then! Let's all go back to the village and let everyone know their problem is solved. Okay, (Captain)?
Villager: You defeated the monster of the mountain? Unbelievable!
Vyrn: With (Captain) on the job, what chance did that beast have?
Lyria: You said it! And Hazen's punch was impressive, too!
Hazen: No more monsters should trouble your village any time soon.
Villager: That's wonderful! How could we ever thank you?
Hazen: No need for that. Let's just say your prayers finally reached their destination.
Hazen: And us coming here was probably just a bit of divine will.
Vyrn: You've got a lot of nerve saying that after mistaking a monster for a god.
Hazen: Hm? What was that?
Thanks to (Captain) and company's heroic actions, peace has returned to the village.
They depart for the skies once more, looking back at the smiles of hope seeing them off.
