Fistful of Love
Our heroes found themselves on a small island in the middle of nowhere. Smack dab in the middle of the miasma sat a priest, fishing without a care in the world. (Captain) joined with the priest, taking their stand against the monsters in hopes of dispelling the miasma once and for all.
Sensing a strange miasma, (Captain)’s party touched down on a tiny island in the middle of nowhere.
The miasma had completely robbed the people of the island of their vim and vigor, day after hopeless day...
Vyrn: Damn...the miasma’s ruining the whole island.
Lyria: Over there!
I can feel the monsters in the stream ahead...
Vyrn: All right! Let’s go!
We’re not gonna stand by when there’s monsters around. Right, (Captain)?!
Hazen: Hrm...they’re just not biting.
Perhaps they don’t like worms?
Vyrn: Whoa! Look, (Captain)! That guy’s fishing! In this!
What the hell d’you think you’re doing?! It’s dangerous out here!
Hazen: Whew, you gave me a fright...never thought I’d see a talking lizard!
How d’you do!
Hazen: Hazen’s the name. I’m but a humble priest.
I’m on a journey to offer comfort to those who need it most.
Vyrn: Hrm...well we’re a Skyfaring Order...our leader here goes by?
Now is NOT the time!
The introductions can wait for later!
Vyrn: Hey, old man!
Fishing in a place like this...what the hell are you up to, exactly?
Quite the miasma we’re having.
Vyrn: Wow... You've got some guts...
Well I don’t know about all that.
I am a priest, after all!
This is really nothing!
Vyrn: Er...I...I didn’t mean it as a compliment!
Hazen: I must say it is causing the people of this island quite a bit of trouble.
Hazen: The monsters in the stream are behind it. I thought I might be able to lure them with a fishing pole...like this...
Vyrn: Forget it!
How the hell do you expect to catch monsters with a fishing pole, dummy?!
Hazen: Do you think so?
Hm...perhaps bigger bait would do the trick?
Vyrn: I can’t even...(Captain). I think this priest might be a little soft in the head.
Lyria: Please, Hazen!
Do you think you could leave the monsters to (Captain) and me?
Hazen: I think not! What kind of man would I be to leave children in the hands of monsters?!
Who the hell are you calling children?!
Just watch! Well send them running back to their monster mommies!
Vyrn: Let’s go! (Captain)! We’re gonna show that stupid priest what’s what!
With a spectacular display of teamwork, (Captain) and company take care of the monsters in the stream.
Fit to be tied, Hazen clenches one of his mighty fists.
Hazen: Yes, I can see now. You’re quite the formidable bunch...but still!
Vyrn: Hey, now...we took care of the monsters. What’re you so mad for?
Hazen: You decided to throw yourselves into danger, heedless of your elder’s advice! Such behavior is not to be encouraged!
Lyria: Sigh...well I can’t say you’re wrong.
Hazen: Pride comes before the fall...I do hope you understand that, at least.
Hazen: What’s more...it seems perhaps that the disappearance of the miasma has made the other monsters more fearless.
Hazen: Very well. I’ll take care of them. Get yourselves to safety.Understood?
Vyrn: Get ‘em, dude! I take back what I said! He’s really kicking some ass!
Vyrn: Over there! Move! But he’s knocking them out. With his fists. Does that seem very, uh, priestly to you?
Hazen: Phew...that takes care of most of them.
Vyrn: This is incredible! Dude! You don’t look like much, but damn...
Ow...what the hell was that for?!
Hazen: Maybe that’ll clear some of the wax out of your ears!
What did I say?
Lyria: You, um...you told us to get to safety...
Vyrn: Still, though...you didn’t have to punch me!
Hazen: It was only an affectionate tap!
Maybe that’ll teach you to mind your elders.
Choose: Are you that worried?
- Are you that worried?
- Can’t make any promises
Hazen:Choose: Can’t make any promises
Worried? Indeed I am.
But I've just had the most marvelous idea!
You did say you were Skyfarers, didn’t you?
I was afraid you would say that.
But I've just had the most marvelous idea!
You did say you were skyfarers, didn’t you?
I should join you on your journey.
Yes, yes. A great idea, if I do say so myself.
That should keep you out of trouble, eh?
Vyrn: Say what?! Pump the brakes, man! Wait, (Captain). What d’you mean, “welcome aboard...?"
Vyrn: Just...just don’t punch me anymore, okay...?
Hazen: Aha! That all depends on how careful you are!
I-I’ll be good, I swear!
Hazen: Good. Thanks to you, this town’s finally got something to wake up to in the morning...shall we be going?
(Captain) and company set off once again with their new companion, Hazen the Wind Priest.
The Mountain God
During their journey, they arrive at a village that was troubled by many monsters. (Captain) and company decide to help the worshipers of the mountain god troubled by monsters.
Together with Hazen, (Captain) and company arrived at a village with many pious people.
Hazen: This brings back memories... How many years has it been...? That dilapidated village is now bustling! How wonderful!
Villager: Oh, this is...! Father Hazen! You’ve come back to our village!
Villager: Oh, my! Father Hazen! Thanks to you, our crops are plentiful! Our children are growing up happily as well.
Vyrn: What’s going on?! The priest is so popular here!
Villager: Of course he is! Father Hazen saved us when our crops would not grow and this village was poor!
Lyria: That’s amazing! Everyone in this village is smiling because of Hazen!
Hazen: That’s not true! The villagers worked hard for what they've got. They earned their smiles.
Vyrn: Hm? What’s with all the noise? Is there something at the entrance of the village?
Villager: What? They’re here again?! Right when Father Hazen is here, too...
Villager: What...? Hurry up and evacuate the children! Father Hazen, please hide here for the time being.
Vyrn: What happened?! What do you mean it’s dangerous? What’s going on?!
Lyria: This is bad... I can tell there are monsters here. (Captain), monsters are coming from over there!
Hazen: Monsters?! What's going on?! I thought this village was supposed to be safe?
Villager: Well... We did enjoy peace for some time thanks to you, but it seems that the mountain god has been enraged...
Hazen: The mountain god?
Villager: We’ve prayed to the mountain god daily, but we are unable to quell his wrath. And now the monsters are here...!
Hazen: You must have suffered greatly...
Vyrn: All right! The monsters are close! This isn’t time to talk! Let’s get going, (Captain)!
The Mountain God: Scene 2
After defeating all of the monsters in the village, (Captain) and company head to the mountain which they think is the source of the problem. There was a dangerous monster that commanded the beasts of the forest.
Villager: Oh! What a surprise! It’s not just Father Hazen. Your companions all look very strong, too...!
Vyrn: Haha! Leave the monster hunting to (Captain)!
Hazen: There there. Overconfidence is a source of unwanted accidents. Still... I’m worried about what is happening in the mountains.
Vyrn: All right! We gotta act now! Let’s go to that mountain. Right, (Captain)?
Vyrn: Hm... So this is the mountain with a god...
Lyria: Hmm... Is there really a god here...? I only sense the presence of monsters.
Hazen: If there really is a god, I’d like to meet him!
Vyrn: Hey, now! That isn’t something a priest should be saying...
Hazen: Hm? Really? Anyone would be interested in the one they serve.
Lyria: Hehe! I’d like to meet a god, too!
Vyrn: Uh-oh... This isn’t the time to be talking about stupid stuff like that!
Vyrn: Look! That thing is huge!
Hazen: Oh! This god looks more like a... beast to me!
Vyrn: No! That’s just a monster!
Vyrn: Sigh... We don’t have time to deal with your airhead antics! Look! The enemy has noticed us!
Vyrn: Everybody ready?! (Captain)! That looks like the boss of the monsters that hide in the mountains! It’s time to launch a preemptive attack!
The Mountain God: Scene 3
Thanks to (Captain) and company, peace has returned to the village. The pious villagers will forever remember the heroic acts of (Captain), Hazen, and the rest of the company.
Vyrn: Hooray! You did it, (Captain)! You beat that boss in no time!
Vyrn: Hahaha! Now the monsters won’t go to the village anymore!
Hazen: T-The boss of the monsters is the mountain god...?
Vyrn: No! That’s not a god! It’s just a monster!
Hazen: W-What?! Damn you, monsters! How dare you trick a priest!
Vyrn: Sigh... You just mistook it on your own! Man, enough of this!
Vyrn: All right then! Let’s all go back to the village and reassure everyone. Right, (Captain)?
Villager: What?! Y-You defeated the monster of the mountain?
Vyrn: Haha! Leave it to (Captain) and those monsters are nothing!
Lyria: You said it! And Hazen’s punch was impressive too!
Hazen: The monsters that attacked the village should be gone now.
Villager: Thank you! We don’t know how to thank you...
Hazen: No need to thank us. I only raised your passionate prayers to god.
Hazen: Our visiting of your village must be divine guidance as well.
Vyrn: Oh, boy... I’m surprised you can say that after mistaking a monster for a god!
Hazen: Hm? Did you say something?
Thanks to (Captain) and company’s heroic actions, peace has returned to the village.
(Captain) and company depart for the skies once more, looking back at the smiles of hope seeing them off.
