Happy birthday to you, (Captain)!
We started our adventure on Zinkenstill, but we've been to so many other places since then, haven't we?
There could be all kinds of islands still waiting for us! Not just fun ones, but scary ones and dangerous ones too.
But as long as we're there together, I won't be afraid! Let's continue enjoying our travels together!

Hehe. The crew is really having a blast today.
That's what happens when we celebrate your birthday...
It's strange... Celebrating a day meant for you brings me happiness.
A day that is special for you is even more special for me...
I feel like our hearts are connected...
(Captain), I wish you a really happy birthday.
Let's see even more of the skies together!

It's been a whole year since your last birthday...
Happy birthday, (Captain)!
A lot has happened this past year.
And with you by my side, it's been so much fun!
I guess that's why it feels like it went by so quickly.
I can't wait to see what the next year of our journey will bring!

Happy birthday, (Captain)! This is the fifth time we've celebrated your birthday together, isn't it?
A lot of time has passed since we first met, but it feels like just yesterday.
Has it really been five years already? I find myself wondering sometimes, but that's what my journal says.
Do you think when we reach the Island of the Astrals, it'll feel like our journey went by in the blink of an eye too?
Aw... In that case, I'd rather our journey never end!
(Captain), let's keep traveling like this for ten... no, a hundred more years!
A hundred years is impossible? That's not true! You're amazing enough to pull it off somehow!

(Captain)! Happy birthday!
I woke up early to prepare a special surprise for you.
Some of the talented bakers in the crew taught me how to make a cake, so I baked one for your birthday!
But before we go to where everyone's waiting...
I wrote you a letter.
I really wanted to give you this today more than anything else...
P-please don't read it now!
Maybe save it for later when you're alone?
It would be too embarrassing to watch you read it since my feelings are written inside...
I just wanted to let you know that I'm really glad I was able to meet you. You make me and so many others happy.
I hope we can all celebrate your birthday next year too, and the year after that, and the year after that one...
Maybe we can even spend a little time alone together like this again. I'd really like that.

Now if I just stick this here... and then put this here...
Choose: What're you up to?
Eek! (Captain)!
O-oh no! Sorry, would you mind facing that way real quick? Just for a sec!
Phew. Okay, you can turn back around now! Sorry for springing that on you all of a sudden...
Um... So anyway!
Happy birthday, (Captain)!
This is my present to you! I guess you probably caught a glimpse of it already though...
It's an album full of memories from our journey so far!
I put postcards, stamps, pressed flowers, and whatnot from all the islands we've visited into a book.
Oh! Save the last page for when you're alone, okay?
Because, well... it'd be a little embarrassing having you read it in front of me...
Say, do you remember the place on the first page?
Hehe, that's right! It's the forest of Zinkenstill, where we first met!
That's where our long journey began. Since then, our travels have taken us far and wide.
I wonder how long our adventure will go on? We have no way of knowing what the future has in store for us...
But as long as I'm with you, I feel like I can travel forever, no matter what may happen!
(Captain)... Thank you for setting out on this journey with me.
As long as our adventure continues... Actually, even if it comes to an end...
I hope we can make lots more memories together.

The sky's so pretty and blue. It's the perfect weather for a picnic!
Thanks for being willing to indulge me today.
I wanted to spend some quality time with just the two of us on your special day.
I'm a bit late in saying this, but happy birthday!
And this is probably a little strange for a birthday present, but... here.
It's a homemade picnic lunch! I arranged the ingredients to make a portrait of you!
This dish looks familiar, doesn't it? And this one over here?
That's because they're all foods we've eaten or cooked together on our journey so far!
In other words, this lunch is packed full of eight years' worth of memories! I hope you enjoy it!
Returning Lyria's beaming smile, (Captain) takes out another lunch box.
Oh! You brought me a lunch too!
I wonder what's inside? Ooh, I can't wait to see...
Is this... me?
Thank you! Ehehe, this is kind of embarrassing.
Great minds think alike, huh? It's really nice how we both had the other in mind!
Um, actually... is it okay if I put the lunches next to each other before we dig in?
There we go! Now we're smiling side by side!
Let's keep smiling and laughing just like this for the whole rest of our journey!

(Captain)! What do you think? Isn't this flower field beautiful?
It's so big, and there are so many different flowers blooming here!
Lyria has invited the captain to slip away from the ship with her.
They find themselves at a large flower field in the corner of the island they're stopping at.
Oh, look! Isn't this tiny flower so cute?
And the shape of the petals on those light pink ones over there is so pretty... I can't stop looking at them.
Lyria's expression is full of happiness, without a shred of darkness that would hint at the unfortunate fate she suffers from.
Now, she is only a young and innocent girl with a genuine smile.
Seeing this, in turn, brings a smile to (Captain)'s face.
Hm? What's the matter, (Captain)?
(Captain) assures the puzzled Lyria that it's nothing.
Lyria's lips curl up once more before she shifts her gaze to the flowers blooming at her feet.
Oh, these flowers!
I'm trying to remember what these flowers mean... Hehe, I actually read about this before!
Each type of flower has their own special meaning and sentiments.
So I started thinking about which flower would suit you the most, (Captain).
From the day I met you, you've been the most dependable and kindest person.
You've overcome so much together with everyone in the crew.
Through the painful and difficult times, you never gave up even once...
And even when you were hurt, somehow you found the courage to stand up.
You always gave it your best in order to save and protect the people around you...
And you've always protected me too.
That's how I've come to know your strengths, your kindness, and your courage, (Captain).
Seeing all of that makes me so happy. Hehe... It's even bringing tears to my eyes. I'm really happy. And most of all...
I want to tell you, thank you.
And as a token of all the gratitude I have for you, I'd like you to take this!
Happy birthday, (Captain)!
Lyria hands over a pendant with a flower embedded into it.
It's a talisman I made by pressing a flower that blooms in the season you were born in.
I thought about the meaning of the flower as well, and decided on this one. I did my best making it! Hehe.
What... do you think?
Choose: Thanks, I love it!
Hehe... I'm happy you like it.
In that moment, Lyria is nothing more than an ordinary girl with a kind smile on her face.
Still, the fate of the skies and the destinies of the stars are merciless, bound to continue closing in on this innocent girl.
Knowing this, (Captain) swears to always protect Lyria no matter what happens.
Strength fills (Captain)'s heart as the captain vows to keep the skies a safe place, where the flowers in front of them can continue to bloom forever and ever.

Oh, look, (Captain)! There it is! Zinkenstill!
Lyria points toward the island of Zinkenstill—(Captain)'s home.
Though they have stopped there many times on their long journey, the peace and familiarity that washes over them with each visit remains unchanged.
That's where our journey began. Where we had our first of many encounters...
It's where I met you, where we met the Grandcypher... where we met plenty of new friends.
We've had our fair share of hiccups along the way, but thanks to these encounters, we found a way to work together and made our own way through the skies...
No matter where we go next, I know we have what it takes to move forward!
I want nothing more than to see where our travels take us next, (Captain)—right here beside you, just as we are now.
Will you stay on this journey with me?
Thank you so much!
You don't know how happy that makes me! I'll do my best out there, I promise!
We'll always be together... Forever and ever!
- Choose: We'll always be together!
...!
That makes me so happy!
Hearing you say that makes me feel like I can do anything!
Maybe not just feel... I know I can do anything, especially if I'm with you, (Captain).
Your words really put my mind at ease!
Now I know for sure I picked out the right present. Here, this is for you!
Happy birthday, (Captain)!
Lyria produces a brand new notebook similar to the one she carries and presents it to (Captain).
I got you your own... Your own, uh... What should we call your notebook...
(Captain) comes up with a fitting name on the spot.
Choose: How about Cerulean Notebook?
Cerulean Notebook! Yes, that's a fantastic name!
You can write whatever you want in it, just like how I do with mine.
If you get too busy, you don't have to write in it at all.
Oh, I was thinking we could exchange notebooks from time to time too! Doesn't that sound fun?
And if we've written about the same things...
It'll be like we're sharing the same memories. Maybe it could bring a smile to both of our faces...
The Cerulean Notebook, with its blank pages, brims with Lyria's thoughts and feelings.
It hints at a journey to come filled with endless possibilities.
Memories don't just fade away. They build upon each other, wouldn't you agree?
I'm confident the Cerulean Notebook will prove that to us.
There's so much ahead of us... New adventures, new encounters...
I'm certain ours is a journey that will go on into forever...
So let's make the best of it and create even more memories together!
(Captain) accepts Lyria's heartfelt birthday wishes and thoughtful present with a warm smile.
Having a friend in Lyria gives (Captain) the strength and confidence to face any obstacle in the grand adventure ahead.

(Captain)! Happy birthday!
We've been through a lot again this year, so to thank you for all you've done...
I made a perfume with a scent based on my image of you as a present, (Captain)!
I wanted to try a gift I've never given you before, so I tried my hand at making perfume.
It's really hard, and I messed up so many times, but I'm glad I made it in time.
- Choose: Thanks for the gifts every year!
You don't need to thank me... I just wanted to celebrate your birthday, (Captain).
When I learned you can make perfume, I knew that was it! I did lots of research about it.
- Choose: You can make perfume?
Yeah! I was surprised to learn you can do it, too!
There's a method called perfume blending where you mix fragrances. I looked up how to do it and did it myself.
I'm... I'm always around you, so I know.
You're always doing so much to help others and protect them.
You even risked your life to save me from the empire...
I just don't want you to be too reckless, (Captain)...
After all, I want to keep on celebrating your birthday in the future, (Captain).
As Lyria opens the perfume bottle, the area is filled with a pleasant aroma that envelops (Captain).
Whenever you're feeling tired, I hope this perfume helps to lift your spirits.
I tried lots of fragrances to find something that will comfort you.
Once it brings you back, we can keep going and make lots of new memories.
(Captain) enjoys the rest of a peaceful birthday with Lyria, relaxing with the soothing scent of the perfume.
All the weariness of past travels melt away in order to make room for the brand new encounters ahead.
