Happy Birthday Cutscenes
# Link Text
1

Hm? (Captain), let me take your pulse and temperature.
I know this condition... Is today your birthday?
I had a feeling. That's what you call an educated guess from an educated doctor... Your symptoms gave it away.
I'm going to prescribe you this birthday present. It's all yours.
But wait, there's more—here's a patient registration card for a complete physical.
As your primary care physician, I intend on giving you as thorough of a checkup as possible to show my appreciation.
The card is good for more than one use. Stop by my office anytime. Regular checkups are vital for optimal health.
And make sure you come with clothing that's easy to take off. I'm a doctor, so there's nothing for you to be ashamed of.

2

Judging by the complexion of your face and the pulse of your wrist... I see, I see.
My diagnosis? You have a case of birthday-itis.
Haha, just playing. You know, I really have a lot to thank you for.
Meeting you and the crew has made a huge impact on me.
I've started to think that maybe my reason for striking out into the sky was to run into you someday.
So I want you to have this. It's an exclusive examination pass.
Last time, I asked you to come see me and to wear clothes you could take off easily when you do. How come you still haven't visited?
You felt embarrassed? Um, why do you think physician-patient privilege exists? There's nothing to be embarrassed about.
Well, I get it though. I understand how exposed a patient must feel when they're the only ones undressing.
Fine. A doctor must also take into account their patient's state of mind. The next time you stop by, I'll undress too.
Wait. No. I'm not doing that. I will see you in my office, is that clear? Don't be late, or I'll have to violate my oath to do no harm.

3

I'm here for a checkup.
Ah... I thought so. I can see it in your complexion already, (Captain).
It's your birthday today... The symptoms are quite apparent.
You still have half the day left. Here, I'll prescribe you some well wishes for your special day—happy birthday.
And here's your present—as usual, an invitation for a special consultation. I'll give you a checkup from top to bottom.
You don't have the courage for one?
Hehe. I didn't expect that from you, despite being so brave in battle.
But in cases like this, the more you think about it the more scared you'll become, so you should just take the chance and jump into it.
I could do it tonight, if you want.
While I do your checkup, I can keep you company on your special day until the very last moment.

Come on in.
Ah, (Captain), congratulations on being my first patient of the new year.
Hm? You're inviting me for a visit to the shrine? And a party after that? So you're not here for a checkup then.
As charming as your offer is, I'm afraid it would be difficult to resist all the wonderful food that entails..
Binge eating can be rather unhealthy, and I've already had my fair share of New Year's treats...
So I think I'll pass—
Actually, on second thought...
I'll come along. Erunes are too thin to begin with, so technically I should put on a bit of weight if I'm to be considered healthy.
Being a role model for good health helps to support my standing as a doctor, so surely it'll be okay.

2

???: Next patient please.
Tikoh: Ah, (Captain). Happy New Year.
Have a seat. How are we feeling today?
Huh? You're here to invite me to a New Year's party? Hoo boy... So another feast like last year.
I'm just worried I'll overeat long into the night like I did last time.
Though I suppose if I adjust my meal plans afterward, I can balance out the overall intake...
Actually... Would you be willing to exercise with me starting tomorrow?
Cool. Thanks.
Then I guess I'll be joining everyone tonight!
But if I can't recover from the food coma and other side effects, I'm putting you in the hospital.

3

A visit from your doctor for the new year!
Happy New Year, (Captain). Are you heading out to town today?
I'll go with you then.
I ate quite a bit over the New Year's holidays, so I want to get some exercise in.
Huh? You're planning to check out the food stalls and grab some snacks? I didn't know there were food stalls...
Maybe I should... pass...
...
Well, I guess if I walk a little more, I can work off the extra food...
It's all about balance, right? If I make sure to walk more than whatever I eat, I'm sure I can still stay fit.
If you don't mind taking the long way back, let's go together.
It's probably going to be night by the time we come back, so be prepared for that.

Valentine's Day Cutscenes

Time for a house call.
...!
My, you look awful, (Captain). Your eyeballs are a pale blue, your sweat's frozen, your face is green, and you've sprouted extra arms and legs...
My diagnosis tells me you're suffering from a sugar craving.
Yes, of course I'm telling the truth. Don't you know? Doctors never lie. Your suspicion is also a common symptom in such cases.
Oh, poor (Captain). Here's a prescription for some yummy chocolate.
The nutritional value of chocolate is said to be good for your intestines and blood flow. It also helps you relax.
Just make sure you consume it in appropriate serving sizes. I recommend hot coffee to go with it.
Huh? Today's Valentine's?
Wow, I can't believe I forgot about that.

2

The doctor is in.
I've prescribed these chocolates for you. Please read the dosage and instructions carefully before ingesting.
Keep in mind that despite the optics, this has nothing to do with Valentine's Day. Confections have been shown to reduce fatigue.
Huh? You're giving me chocolates too? Th-thanks.
"For reducing fatigue," huh? Some nerve throwing a doctor's words back at her.
I know you're always looking out for me, but I have to wonder: are you interested in becoming a doctor?
Studying medicine while juggling the captain's role isn't exactly the easiest thing in the world.
I think you'll have to settle for playing pretend doctor for the time being.
In that case, I'll be your patient.
Go ahead and practice any procedure you like. I'll teach you the ins and outs of medical checkups.

3

I'm here for a checkup.
Open your mouth wide, (Captain).
Okay, let's listen to your heartbeat.
Next, we'll check your pulse.
Ah... This is undoubtedly the "I ate too many sweet things" syndrome.
You received chocolate from a lot of people and tried to eat as much as you could, didn't you?
Sigh... Can't be helped.
It'd be sad if you couldn't eat anymore after this, so I'll prescribe a different variety of chocolate for you.
Here's a mix of different kinds of dark chocolate that should be no problem for your body.
No need to thank me—I'm a doctor, after all. I know everything about my patients.
I know you're having trouble consuming all the sweets, and I know that you also want some chocolate from me. You can't hide anything from Dr. Tikoh.

Smart and cute—the best way to describe me...
Now who could have been so lucky to get chocolate from me on Valentine's?
You know who you are. If I don't get something in return soon, it'll be too late.
...!
So you were prepared for White Day after all.
Hahaha! Sorry if I seemed a bit pushy.
It'd be rude of me to turn this down now, so I gladly accept!

2

???: Come on in.
Tikoh: Hello, (Captain). What's on your mind today?
You cut your finger handling a new weapon?
O-okay. Got it. One healing coming right up.
There. All better. Well, if there's nothing else bothering you, you're free to go.
Oh! Is this for White Day?
Wow, it completely slipped my mind what day it is. You really didn't have to get me anything, but I know you're too kind to not to.
Consider your bill paid in full!

3

???: Next person, please.
Tikoh: Ah, (Captain). Perfect timing—I have something I wanted to talk to you about, so have a seat.
The duty of a doctor is to heal patients... That being said, I still require consultation fees from those who can afford it.
Medical practices are costly, so I wouldn't be able to continue for long if I did everything for free.
What I want to say is, it would be really great if I could have something of equal value in exchange for my medical services.
So I wanted to ask you... Today is White Day—did you decide to come on this day for any particular reason?
Huh? You came to invite me out for a meal... in return for Valentine's?
Huh? Wait... Huh? A whole meal? I w-wasn't thinking that far... I mean, all I gave you was chocolate...
What? You were just kidding? Oh, so this package is the actual present... I see. Well, thank you, I guess...
...
I don't mind going out for a meal though—just saying.

Trick or Treat Cutscenes

1

Going out to town, (Captain)?
I know it's lively right now with the Halloween festivities going on, but why would you want to put yourself in such a crowded place?
There'll be food stalls? My, as if all the treats going around aren't enough...
I had a big meal just the other day too...
...
You know, with how crowded it is, I wouldn't be surprised if someone sustains injuries. They'll need a doctor.
Okay, let's go. I suppose it'd do us all a bit of good for me to make the rounds.

2

House call incoming!
Whoa, nice costume. You plan on going out dressed in that?
Huh? You want me to come along? And this town sells a famous rare candy? Y-you don't say...
I-I need to consult with my stomach first...
No, I don't mean that it's full... I'm talking about a literal gut feeling...
J-just give me a minute!
...
A little candy should be fine, right? There's only a pinch of flab between my fingers...
You know what? It doesn't matter! I'm coming, (Captain)!

3

Happy Halloween!
What do you think about my bloody nurse costume? I think it looks pretty good on me.
I don't have much experience with dressing up for Halloween, but this is kind of fun.
...?
You're awfully quiet, (Captain).
Ah... What have I done? You've been bewitched by how I look in this costume, haven't you?
I guess that's what happens when someone as cute as me puts on a costume like this.
Looks like I ended up playing a little trick for Halloween, even though that's not what I'd intended... I've failed as a doctor.
In return, you can play a trick on me too, (Captain). Anything is okay.
Come on. Do whatever you like.

???: Next patient, please.
Tikoh: How are you feeling today?
Ah... (Captain), it's you.
Okay, let's have a look-see.
Your body temperature's high, your heart's beating fast, and you seem unsure yet excited...
I see now... My diagnosis tells me that you're in a merry mood for the holidays.
You would do well to calm down and breathe in the fresh outdoor air. Monitor yourself as you go about the day.
I'll come along. Just keep in mind that this isn't just fun and games—it's part of your treatment.
I'll meet up with you on the deck later. Tonight will be the prime time to analyze your symptoms.

2

House call incoming: merry holiday edition!
Heehee, Captain's out like a light. Better make this quick.
Hm... Pulse: normal. Temperature: normal. Blood pressure: normal.
(Captain) suddenly stirs and squints groggily at the intruder.
Oops. Did I wake you? I'm sorry.
For your present, I came to do a stealth checkup and hopefully leave you with a clean bill of health you could read in the morning.
But now that you're up, I might as well perform a more thorough examination.
Remove your top please. I need to listen to your heartbeat.
Come on, off, off.

3

Next person, please.
Oh, (Captain)... Sigh. I thought you'd come.
Here you are. I prepared everything in advance and prescribed you a gift for this winter season.
I didn't think you'd come looking this desperate for something...
Did you want a present from your doctor that badly? I don't believe it...
Well, you're lucky that Dr. Tikoh is so kindhearted.
Huh?
You haven't been feeling well since this morning?
Y-you should have told me that right away! I thought you were just here to get a present from me...
All right, loosen up your clothes. Time to break out the stethoscope and take a listen!

Prescription for Rest

(Captain) and company realize that Tikoh has not rested for a single day since joining their crew. Although Tikoh insists that she is fine, the crew tries to invite her for some recreation again and again. When the young doctor sees how dejected the others are, however, she gives in and agrees to a short vacation by the lake.

One afternoon, (Captain) stands in a corner of the ship's deck, lost in thought.
The captain is pondering over what should be done about a certain matter.
Vyrn: Hey, (Captain). Somethin' wrong?
Lyria: You look really concerned. Do you want to tell us about it?
(Captain) explains the matter at hand to Vyrn and Lyria, who have come to check up on the captain.
Lyria: You were thinking about... Tikoh?
Tikoh is a young, traveling doctor skilled in healing magic who is now journeying with the crew on the Grandcypher.
She uses her own room on the ship as an office to see any crew members who are in need of medical attention.
Lyria: Huh? You haven't seen Tikoh rest at all?
Vyrn: Hmm. Now that you mention it...
The Twelve Divine Generals had held their assembly at the campground on Groz Island not too long ago.
The crew had tagged along to spend some quality time with the generals, enjoying a spontaneous camping trip before continuing on their journey.
After a few days of camping, Tikoh had returned to volunteering at the local medical station beside the lake.
Lyria: Oh! Come to think of it... Tikoh was working the whole time we were camping too!
Vyrn: Yeah... We invited her to hang out with us a few times, but she was too busy. I completely forgot about that.
Vyrn: Wait. Does that mean she hasn't taken a break since then?
(Captain) points out that, in fact, no one has seen her rest—ever.
Lyria: Wh-wha!
Vyrn: You mean... she's been working every single day since she joined our crew?
Lyria: Th-that's true... Her office is open every day.
Lyria: Just yesterday too—I'd accidentally cut my finger in the kitchen, and Tikoh helped me patch it up.
Vyrn: Me too. When I was cleanin' the deck one time, I tripped and got several splinters in my paw. Tikoh carefully took 'em out for me.
Lyria: ...
Vyrn: Good grief... We needa do somethin' about this.
  1. Let's make sure she takes a break.
  2. Come on, let's go!

Choose: Let's make sure she takes a break.
Choose: Come on, let's go!
Vyrn: Yeah!
(Captain) and company rush to Tikoh's office and fling open the door.
Tikoh: ...
Tikoh is sitting on a chair with her legs crossed, her gaze fixed on the pages of a book in front of her.
The crew can't help but notice the title of the book: "Get Slim and Serious! Tips on Starting a New Diet and Lifestyle."
Tikoh: Hm?
Tikoh raises her head, and her eyes meet the crew's.
Lyria: ...
Vyrn: ...
Tikoh: ...
Lyria: ...
Vyrn: ...
Tikoh: Say something, will you!
Tikoh: If you have something to say, just say it! I can't help you if you don't tell me what's wrong!
Vyrn: Okay, um...
Vyrn: Ya know, if you wanna change up your lifestyle... maybe you could try goin' out and doing it instead of just readin' about it?
Tikoh: That's saying too much!
Tikoh: I told you to say something, but that doesn't mean you can say anything! Even too much medication can lead to an overdose!
Vyrn: Whoa, calm down! My bad, okay?
Sheesh, I was just saying...
Tikoh: It's not like they're thick or anything! It's called being healthy!
Vyrn: What're you even talkin' about...
Lyria: Um, is there a reason why you want to "get slim"?
Vyrn: Maybe it's best not to go into the details, Lyria...
Eventually Tikoh's shoulders relax, and she regains her composure.
Tikoh: Anyway, is there something urgent? You didn't even bother to knock.
Vyrn: Sorry... We were worried about ya and forgot to.
Lyria: You see, we were just thinking how we've never seen you take a day off...
When (Captain) apologizes and explains that they were concerned for her well-being, Tikoh smiles and shrugs nonchalantly.
Tikoh: You don't have to worry about me. I'm sleeping, and I'm eating my meals.
Tikoh: It's true that I was working at the campground, but glamping really relaxed me, and spending time with everyone at the camp was fun.
Vyrn: But you were still workin' in the daytime, weren'tcha? You haven't taken a full day off.
Lyria: You must be really tired. You should let yourself rest!
Tikoh: Really, I'm fine...
  1. Let's all take some days off.
  2. Let's all go on a vacation together.

Choose: Let's all take some days off.
Vyrn: Ooh, that's a good idea! If our entire crew takes time off, then Tikoh will have to too!

Choose: Let's all go on a vacation together.
Lyria: That sounds nice! I really want to go on a vacation with Tikoh and spend some time together.
Continue 1
Hearing this, (Captain) suggests they head for a beautiful lake that's known for being a popular vacation destination.
From what the captain has heard, many like to lounge around the lake area in their swimsuits, similar to Groz Island.
Tikoh: I told you, I'm fine. Don't worry about me.
Vyrn: Huh? But...
Tikoh: We can go to the lake, but I'm still going to look for a place where I can serve as a doctor there.
Lyria: Ooh... That didn't turn out the way we expected, did it?
Vyrn: Yeah. At this rate, doesn't seem like we're gonna be able to keep her away from her work for long...
However, (Captain) remains positive, saying that they should still invite Tikoh along for the trip.
Lyria: Yes, let's still try! We need to make sure she gets the rest she needs!
Vyrn: Yeah. We'll keep askin' until she agrees!
Lyria: Tikoh, will you please join us for a trip to the lake? I really, really want to go there with you!
Tikoh: Thank you, Lyria. But I'm okay, really. I want to do my job as a doctor.
Vyrn: Ergh, I feel sick... I've got the chills, a stomachache, nausea, and, uh... my joints hurt...
Tikoh: That doesn't sound good... Let me take a look.
Vyrn: Oh, I already know... I've been workin' too much. I think it'll get better if I just take a break.
Tikoh: ...
Vyrn: So yeah, I think I'll be takin' a few days off... But I'm worried I'm gonna feel sick during, so could you come with me just in case? Ya know, as my doctor?
Tikoh stretches her hand toward Vyrn, as if to medically examine him. She reaches underneath his arms.
Tikoh: Tickle, tickle, tickle...
Vyrn: Bwah! Gyahaha!
Vyrn: Hey, stop that! Gahaha! S-stop ticklin' me!
Tikoh: You can't fool me with fake symptoms.
Tickle, tickle, tickle...
Vyrn: A-ack! Sorry... I'm sorry! Gahaha!
Vyrn: Whew, I thought I was a goner... My arms are still tinglin'...
Vyrn: Who would've thought that she'd be this stubborn... I can't believe how intent she is on not takin' a break. She's gotta be tired.
Lyria: Do you think Tikoh... just doesn't want to spend time with us?
Vyrn: No way! Is that why?
Tikoh: ...
Vyrn: I'd be really sad if that was the real reason...
(Captain), Vyrn, and Lyria look down dejectedly.
They begin to wonder if Tikoh simply prefers working rather than being with them.
Tikoh: Of course not!
Lyria: Tikoh?
Tikoh: Sigh... I told you I was fine! Why are all of you still doing this?
Vyrn: Hey, you can be honest with us... Even if you don't wanna hang out with us, we still want you to take a break by yourself.
Tikoh: That's not the problem!
Lyria: But...
Tikoh: All right, fine! I get it... I'll take a break!
Vyrn: You will?
Tikoh: As a doctor, I can't leave all of you here feeling so depressed—it's not good for your health.
Vyrn: Heheh. You would say that.
Lyria: Hooray, we did it! We're going on vacation with Tikoh!
And with that, the ship's course is altered to head for a new destination.
Vyrn: Whoooa! This is awesome!
A number of people are swimming and walking around the area, enjoying the lake to their hearts' content.
Lyria: It's really lively here, and we're surrounded by so much nature. This is such a nice place!
Lyria: Isn't it, Tikoh?
Tikoh: Huh? Oh, yeah...
Vyrn: You don't sound so sure. Don't tell me you're still thinkin' about slimmin' down and stuff.
Tikoh: No! It's all about personal preference anyway!
Vyrn: Right... But I don't think anyone actually cares as much as you do. Maybe you're thinkin' too much into it.
Lyria: Are you tired, Tikoh? Do you want to sit down for a bit near the shore?
Tikoh: No, it's okay. I'm just not used to being on vacation, that's all.
Vyrn: Well in that case, we'll show ya how holidays work! We could go play in the lake first—the water feels nice on a hot day like this!
Lyria: Yeah! Let's take a float and relax in the water!
Vyrn: Okay, time to go crazy!
The Crew: Woohoo!
(Captain) is relieved to see Tikoh finally smile.
The crew had been worried that Tikoh wouldn't enjoy spending time with them as much as they wanted to relax with her.
However, it is clear from the bright expression on the young doctor's face that she, too, is enjoying her spontaneous vacation with the crew.

Prescription for Support

The crew are excited to start their long-awaited vacation when they spot someone drowning in the lake. (Captain) pulls the woman out of the water, and Tikoh tends to her immediately. Soon after, the lakeside is attacked by a herd of monsters. (Captain) and company immediately exterminate them, and Tikoh is busy with treating the injured once again.

The crew has successfully brought Tikoh to the lake for a long-overdue vacation.
Despite the limited time they have, the crew are determined to make the best of it.
Vyrn: Okay, time to go crazy!
The Crew: Woohoo!
Scream: Aaah! Someone... Someone's drowning!
Vyrn: What!
At the sound of a sudden scream, everyone turns their gaze toward the water.
A small figure far in the distance can be seen disappearing under the waves, leaving only ripples in its stead.
(Captain) immediately runs towards the lake.
Vyrn: I'm going too!
Lyria: Be careful!
Tikoh: ...!
Thanks to (Captain), the woman is immediately pulled out of the water and back to shore. However, she remains unconscious.
Rescuee: ...
Tikoh: Her breathing is quite shallow...
Lyria: Wh-what should we do?
Tikoh: She'll be okay.
Gently tilting the woman's head up, Tikoh takes a deep breath and puts her mouth to the unconscious woman's.
Tikoh: Fooo... Haaa...
Fooo... Haaa...
After a few times, the woman moves.
Rescuee: Urg... Cough, cough...
Vyrn: Ooh!
Tikoh: You've swallowed quite a bit of water. You'll be fine once it's out of your system.
Lyria: Oh, I'm so glad!
The people around them cheer at the successful rescue.
Rescuee: Thank you so much... I was so scared when I was in the water. I thought no one would notice I was drowning...
After receiving medical treatment from Tikoh, the woman appears much more energized.
Rescuee: Thank you, Doctor! You truly saved me. Allow me to repay my debt!
Tikoh: I wasn't the one who pulled you to shore. (Captain) here was.
Tikoh: Besides, I only did what was natural for me as a doctor. There's no need to repay me.
(Captain) nods, agreeing that her safety is payment enough.
The woman continues thanking the two profusely before eventually taking her leave.
Lyria: I'm really glad she's all right! Good work, Tikoh!
Vyrn: I was expectin' ya to cast healing magic on her, so I was pretty surprised.
Tikoh: It was clear from the situation that she had swallowed a large amount of water, so the first thing to do was make sure her respiratory tract was unblocked.
Tikoh: Magic doesn't solve everything. There're a lot of times when it can't cure the problem.
Lyria: Wow... There's no one as amazing as you, Dr. Tikoh!
Tikoh: Hehe. That's a bit of an exaggeration!
Vyrn: Heheh! Boy was that a surprise, but looks like we've still got a lotta energy left.
Vyrn: Now we can go crazy!
The Crew: Woohoo!
Tourist Man: Waaah! Monsters... Monsters are here!
Lyria: Huh?
(Captain) looks past the multitudes of people running and sees a number of monsters just behind them.
Monster: Screeech!
Tourist Man: Aaah!
Several monsters appear to be attacking the people in the area.
Vyrn: This is bad! They're being attacked!
Tikoh: Let's hurry, (Captain)!
The captain and Tikoh run toward the scene. After securing a way out for people, they turn to face the rampaging monsters.
Monster: Screeee!
(Captain): ...!
Tikoh: This calls for an emergency surgery!
Monsters: Grrr...
The two efficiently restrain the monsters in the blink of an eye.
Tourist Man: Ergh... One of 'em scratched me in the back...
Tikoh: Keep still. I'll heal you right now.
Tourist Man: Ah... Thank you...
Tikoh goes around to check up on the people injured from the attack, using her magic to heal their wounds.
Lyria: It looks like no one was severely injured... That's good.
Vyrn: Yeah... Phew. I guess that's one silver lining.
Vyrn: Though, this isn't exactly turnin' out to be a vacation for Tikoh...

Prescription for Support: Scene 2

The crew is about to relax when a crowd of people approach Tikoh to consult her about their problems. Though Vyrn tries to tell them they're on vacation, Tikoh says that even if she can't solve all of the people's problems, she can still provide support for them as a doctor. After Tikoh finishes seeing the last patient, Vyrn brings the crew to a tour ship, on which they encounter another incident.

Tikoh: And... done! Thanks for waiting, everyone.
Lyria: No problem at all! Thanks for your hard work!
Vyrn: Yeah! All right! Now can we relax?
Lyria: We certainly can! Let's relax and enjoy the rest of our day!
Now that Tikoh has finished treating all the injuries, the crew can finally wind down for their vacation.
Or so they thought.
Elderly Lady: Um, excuse me...
Lyria: Hm? Oh, hello!
Elderly Lady: Young lady, are you a doctor by any chance?
Tikoh: Me? Yes, I am.
Elderly Lady: Ah, I had a feeling you were. That's perfect.
Elderly Lady: Actually, my back has been hurting lately, you see... and I was hoping a doctor could take a look at it.
Vyrn: Wait... Is this going where I think it's going?
The crowds of people who have gathered around them answer Vyrn's question.
Lyria: Wh-what's happening? Suddenly there're so many people...
The crew catches bits of conversation from the people around them.
Man's Voice: This doctor's gotta be one of the best. What's more, she's accepting free consultations too.
Woman's Voice: I've had first-hand experience. This person's an amazing doctor! She saved my life.
Vyrn: Wait, wha! Consultations? Where'd that come from?
Vyrn: Um, sorry, everyone... but Tikoh's on vacation right now. So she's not doin' any consultations unless they're urgent—
Tikoh: Wait, Vyrn. I don't mind. You guys go ahead and enjoy the lake first.
Lyria: Huh?
Tikoh: I'm a doctor. If people need me, I should be there for them.
Vyrn: But... none of these look too urgent. It's not like sacrificin' your vacation time for them now is gonna help a whole lot.
Tikoh: I can give them support.
Lyria: Give them... support?
Tikoh: It doesn't matter how severe their illness or injuries are. Anybody who doesn't feel well in some way will feel anxious.
Tikoh: Even if their problem doesn't get solved immediately, having someone else listen and look at them can help them feel a lot better.
Tikoh: That's one of the basics of being a doctor.
Vyrn: Oh, I never thought about it that way...
Tikoh: So all of you go ahead without me.
Vyrn: No way we'd do that! Who do ya think this vacation's for in the first place?
  1. We'll help you, Tikoh.
  2. We can't leave you by yourself.

Choose: We'll help you, Tikoh.
Lyria: I was just about to suggest that! We'll help too!

Choose: We can't leave you by yourself.
Vyrn: That's right! If you're gonna be here, then we'll stay and help too!

Tikoh: Huh? You want to help me?
Lyria: Yep! We really want to spend time with you.
Tikoh: I appreciate that, but...
Tikoh: All right. Then let's do this together.
And with that, Tikoh begins her numerous consultations.
Tikoh: How can I help you today?
Elderly Lady: My back hurts a lot...
Rescuee: I got bitten by a mosquito just now...
Tourist Man: I've really fallen for you. Do you have anyone you're seeing right now?
Tourist Lady: My skin's been really bad as of late...
The people's concerns vary, from chronic illnesses to back pain and skin problems.
Vyrn: Is it just me, or was there something that didn't really need your "support"?
Tikoh: Can you get me some hot water and a clean cloth? And bring me the tools in my bag.
Lyria: G-got it! I'll go get them!
Vyrn: Whew, things are gettin' busy!
With the crew's assistance, Tikoh devotes her attention to each and every patient who visits her.
Finally, the last patient in line takes their leave.
Vyrn: Are we... done?
Lyria: Doctors have a hard job... I'm feeling a little tired just from helping out.
Tikoh: You aren't used to it, so I'm sure that's where the fatigue is coming from. Thank you for helping me today.
Vyrn: Can people just consult any doctor about anything? You're a doctor who specializes in surgery, right?
Tikoh: I'm versed in all fields of medical care. Other than surgery, I have general knowledge in internal medicine and dentistry, as well as mental illnesses.
Tikoh: It's just that most of these take a long time in terms of consultation, treatment, and providing the appropriate medication.
Tikoh: So because I'm a traveling doctor who doesn't stay in one place for long, I decided to introduce myself as a specialist who provides treatment through surgery.
Lyria: I see... Treating patients while traveling must be very difficult.
Vyrn: Yeah. And you ended up getting asked about all sorts of stuff anyway...
Vyrn: Well, but everyone seemed happy after talkin' to ya. I'm glad we were able to make a difference today!
Vyrn: Still...
The crew are packing up the last of Tikoh's medical tools when they hear a voice from the direction of the lake's bridge.
Staff: The sightseeing cruise is just about to set sail! Come enjoy a ride on the lake with us!
Vyrn: A sightseeing cruise? Hey! That's a good idea!
Vyrn: Come on, let's pack it up! Follow me!
Lyria: H-huh?
(Captain), Tikoh, and the others follow Vyrn and jump onto the ship. Not long after, the ship pushes off from the port.
Lyria: Oh, wow... The breeze is so nice!
Tikoh: Yeah. But... why did you suddenly decide to get on this ship? You told me to follow you, so I did...
Vyrn: If we stayed where we were, more people were bound to come talk to you. Then you'd be busy all over again.
Vyrn: I figured you'd have a much better chance of takin' it easy if you were on a ship in the middle of the lake.
Tikoh: Ah, so that's why... I wouldn't have minded, you know.
Tikoh: But thank you for doing this for me. I'll try to relax during the ride.
Lyria: They're selling some drinks over there! I'll go get some for us!
Vyrn: I'm pretty hungry! I wanna go check out the food stalls too.
Tikoh: Thank you for taking me here today, (Captain). It's been a while since I've had one of these days.
(Captain) tells her that it's nothing compared to all the work she puts into looking after the crew every day.
Tikoh: Hehe. I thought you'd say that.
Just as they sit back to enjoy the ride, they hear voices coming from inside the ship.
Vyrn: Huh? Oh no, I have a bad feeling about this...
Staff: Do we have a doctor on the ship?
Vyrn: ...!
Lyria: ...!
At the ship staff's desperate call for help, Tikoh raises her hand high in the air.
Tikoh: I'm a doctor!
Vyrn: I don't believe it... Doctors just can't rest anywhere, can they?

Prescription for Support: Scene 3

When Tikoh rushes to help a woman who has fallen ill on the ship, she is unexpectedly reunited with a couple with whom she was once in the same crew with. After the woman's treatment, the crew talk with her husband, who tells them the Tikoh he knew before always took care of herself. Just then, another cry sounds. (Captain) and company turn to find Tikoh collapsed on the floor.

Tikoh: Lead the way!
Staff: Follow me! It seems they're feeling quite unwell all of a sudden...
Vyrn: Here we go again... But I guess it can't be helped if it's an emergency.
Lyria: Maybe we can help too. We should go with Tikoh!
Woman: Ugh...
Man: Come on, hang in there...
Staff: We've got a doctor!
Tikoh: What's the matter?
Man: Huh? Wha... Dr. Tikoh!
Tikoh: Oh...
Lyria: Huh?
Vyrn: Who woulda thought that Tikoh would bump into someone from her previous crew!
Man: Yeah, I never thought we'd bump into each other like this. And now you're looking after my wife... I'm in your debt again.
Upon a closer examination, Tikoh determines that the woman is not in any immediate danger.
Lyria: "Again"? What do you mean?
Man: I was Dr. Tikoh's patient before, you see. With her help, I was able to undergo a difficult surgery.
Man: I was born with blood vessels around my heart that are structured differently from most people, and my blood flow wasn't good.
Man: But no one had been aware of my condition—including myself—and I'd suffered many symptoms since I was a young boy.
Man: And then, one day, someone who understood my condition appeared.
Vyrn: Tikoh, huh?
Man: That's right. I was very surprised when she told me, but everything clicked into place.
Man: No wonder the symptoms kept coming back, even after healing magic was used on me. The cause was in the way my body's built.
Man: Tikoh performed a surgery on me where she created a bypass, which helped my blood circulate much better.
Vyrn: Bypass?
Man: It means she created a new blood vessel around my heart.
Lyria: Y-you can do that?
Man: Well, I was asleep so I have no memory of it, but my wife tells me it was quite a big surgery.
Man: Dr. Tikoh saved me. I'm sure I wouldn't have had long to live if she hadn't helped me.
Vyrn: Wow, you sure had a tough time... Are you doin' better now?
Man: After the surgery, my world has changed drastically. My wife and I have since left our skyfaring life behind, living our days together in peace.
Tikoh: Brings back memories, doesn't it?
Tikoh keeps her eyes on the woman, focusing on her treatment.
Man: Speaking of which, Dr. Tikoh... Have you found the weapon you were looking for?
Tikoh: ...
Man: The crews you've been a part of can all attest to what an excellent physician you are, having seen you heal so many people along the way.
Man: When you decided to leave our crew, saying that you'd found a lead on the weapon you were looking for, we were all sad to see you go.
(Captain) thinks back to when they first met Tikoh. Back then, the young doctor had still been searching for a particular weapon.
Woman: I'm amazed... To think that we're lucky enough to meet Dr. Tikoh again.
Man: Are you feeling better now?
Woman: Yes, I was only feeling a little unwell on top of being seasick. As expected of Dr. Tikoh—I'm much better already.
Tikoh: I do pride myself in being a skilled physician. Don't worry—now that I've looked at you, you should be fine.
Woman: Hehe. My worries have indeed left me. I'm glad to see that you're still the same, Dr. Tikoh.
Woman: Ah, I apologize for my lack of manners.
It's nice to meet all of you.
Lyria: Hello!
Vyrn: Glad to meetcha!
Tikoh: This is Vyrn and Lyria.
Tikoh: And this is the brave captain of the crew I'm currently traveling with, (Captain). Brave enough to hold me by the thighs the day we met.
Woman: You held Dr. Tikoh's... thighs? Do tell me more! I am absolutely dying to know how that came to happen!
Vyrn: Uh, you mean when (Captain) gave you a piggyback and carried ya outta the cave 'cause you were injured? Why'd you have to say it like that...
Tikoh: It was a doctor's joke.
Lyria: Ahaha...
The situation on the ship settles down, finally giving the hardworking Tikoh some time to relax.
Vyrn: Hey, mister. Has Tikoh always been this reluctant to take breaks? She works way too hard.
Man: Reluctant to take breaks? Hmm. Dr. Tikoh has always been hardworking, but she still had some time to rest.
Vyrn: Really? She hasn't taken a single day off since she joined our crew though...
Man: That's surprising... I had the impression that she was someone who knew how to take care of herself too.
Vyrn: Huh? Then why is she...
Woman: Dr. Tikoh!
Vyrn: Wha?
The crew turns around to find Tikoh collapsed onto the floor.
Tikoh: ...
Lyria: Tikoh? Tikoh! Can you hear me? Tikoh!

Prescription for Support: Scene 4

The crew nurses the unconscious Tikoh by the lakeside. The young doctor wakes, and tells the others that the reason she is working so much is because she is trying to distract herself from thinking about Ferdinand—the man who she has yet to exact revenge on. Hearing this, (Captain) and company tell Tikoh to depend on them more for support. Touched by their words, Tikoh falls into a peaceful sleep. The next day, she invites the others out to the lake to finally have some relaxing time off.

The sun sets on the shore of the lake, now empty of the crowds of people from before.
Tikoh: Nngh...
Lyria: Tikoh!
Tikoh: Huh? Lyria...
Lyria: Are you all right, Tikoh? Are you hurt?
Tikoh: Wha? Um, I don't think so...
Vyrn: Phew... That's a relief. We wouldn't know what to do if anything happened to ya...
Tikoh: I came to the lake... with all of you... and then...
Tikoh: Oh no! Did I fall into the water? Was I drowning? (Captain), did you... perform CPR on me?
When Tikoh raises her head to look at (Captain), the captain quickly denies it.
Tikoh: Oh. Okay then... Well, I suppose it is a procedure that requires first aid knowledge... Not like everybody can do it...
Vyrn: We were on a cruise. You weren't swimming in the lake, and you weren't drowning.
Tikoh: A cruise? Oh yes, now I remember... And I saw someone I knew from before.
Vyrn: The mister and his wife went to call for a local doctor.
Tikoh: Ah... But I'm fine now. I'm just probably...
Taking out a mirror, Tikoh checks her own eyes and the inside of her mouth, then presses two fingers to her wrist.
  1. Fatigue.
  2. Overwork.

Choose: Fatigue.
Choose: Overwork.
Tikoh: You've got some nerve to diagnose a doctor.
Tikoh: But, well... you're not wrong.
Vyrn: See, I told ya! We were really worried about you back there, ya know!
Tikoh: ...
Lyria: V-Vyrn, don't be so tough on her...
Vyrn: O-oh...
Lyria: But Tikoh... Why did you work to the point of collapsing?
Tikoh: That's because...
(Captain) gently asks if she had been so devoted to work because there was something she didn't want to think about.
Tikoh: ...
Vyrn: Wait, are you talkin' about...
The weapon Tikoh is searching for is a special weapon called a Horoscope, of which there are twenty-three in existence.
The Asclepius Rod that Tikoh wields is also one of them.
Wielding the rod, she came across a girl while traveling. But due to a certain incident, Tikoh was forced to fuse the girl's soul to her own in order to save the girl's life.
In other words, the Tikoh that now travels with the crew is not only Tikoh herself.
Shannon—the girl whose soul Tikoh saved from her dying body—is with them as well.
Tikoh: Ferdinand... I thought we'd finally tracked him down.
Ferdinand is the mysterious man who had killed Shannon's body. No one knows of his true identity or motives.
After joining (Captain)'s crew, Tikoh was finally able to locate Ferdinand.
However, when presented with a dire situation, Tikoh found herself unable to abandon her duty as a doctor. As a result, Ferdinand escaped her once more.
Tikoh: This all happened because I saved that thing's life... That's how I ended getting myself... and Mom and Dad... killed.
Lyria: ...?
Tikoh: Before that man escaped, he said to me, "You are a doctor through and through." As if he was mocking me.
Tikoh: I was so frustrated... I hated it so much. I had to keep doing something... in order to stop myself from thinking about it and going crazy.
Vyrn: And that's why you didn't stop working...
Lyria: Tikoh...
Not even (Captain) and the crew can completely understand the whirlpool of hatred and remorse inside Tikoh.
But what they can do is be there and support Tikoh when she needs them. (Captain) tells this to Tikoh loud and clear.
Tikoh: Huh?
Vyrn: Support... Heheh, yeah! You said that's one of the basics of being a doctor!
Lyria: Yes... Even if we aren't doctors, we can still offer support.
Vyrn: You said patients get anxious. You're feeling anxious too, aren'tcha? That's why we're gonna be here to support ya.
Vyrn: That can help you feel better too, right?
Tikoh: ...!
Tikoh looks around at the friends surrounding her.
Tikoh: You all really do have some nerve... to lecture a doctor like this.
Vyrn: Heheh! We just want ya to depend on us more!
Lyria: That's right! We'll always be here to support you, Tikoh!
The young doctor opens her mouth to say something when they hear some people running toward them from a distance.
Vyrn: Ooh, the mister's back. Looks like they're carryin' a buncha stuff with 'em.
Lyria: Let's go help them!
Before Tikoh can say anything else, Vyrn and Lyria run off.
Tikoh: Hehe... They're much too lively.
But...
There is a pause, followed by something trickling down her cheek.
Tikoh: Thank you, (Captain)...
Tikoh: Every night, before I go to sleep, I felt so much regret... resentment... and fear. I couldn't do anything about it...
Tikoh wipes her tears, her soft expression somehow making her look younger.
Tikoh: But right now, I'm able to forget about all that, even without diving headfirst into work. It's because of all of you...
Tikoh: Thank you... All of you helped me feel much better. I won't have to push myself anymore.
Tikoh: With you here... to support me...
Vyrn: Hey, the mister brought us some drinks! Gotta stay hydrated.
Lyria: They weren't able to bring any doctors with them, but it seems there's a hospital nearby.
Vyrn: Hm? Wait.
(Captain) signals for them to stay quiet. Tikoh is fast asleep, her head resting on the captain's shoulder.
Tikoh: ...
Lyria: Tikoh must've been so tired.
Vyrn: Good grief... She sure worried us. But I'm glad it looks like she's gonna be okay now.
The captain prepares to go back to the Grandcypher, carefully lifting the sleeping Tikoh up.
Man: I've never seen Dr. Tikoh entrust herself completely to someone else like this before.
Woman: (Captain). Everyone. Please take good care of Dr. Tikoh.
Vyrn: You got it! Leave it to us!
Saying their goodbyes, the crew turn and head back to the ship.
The next day.
Tikoh: ...
Vyrn: Hm? That's rare. You're wearin' your swimsuit today.
Tikoh: When I woke up last night, it was so late already... and I was disappointed that I didn't end up having time to enjoy myself.
Tikoh: So I decided I'm going to really take the time to relax today. I'm feeling much better too.
Vyrn: Ahaha, so that's why you brought out the swim ring and everything! You're all set to go!
Tikoh: (Captain)... You'll come with me of course, right?
Tikoh: I haven't forgotten what you said yesterday. You know, about... being here to support me...
Vyrn: Heheh!
Lyria: Of course we will, Tikoh! Won't we, (Captain)?
(Captain) smiles warmly before running with Tikoh down to the shore of the lake.
The captain is determined to make sure Tikoh and everyone has a memorable time today.
A time so memorable that any other thoughts will be drowned out by their laughter.
