Overview

Despite his low maximum ATK, Owen is considered one of the best SRs in the game and even on par with some SSR characters. His biggest boon is his guaranteed multiattack thanks to his Support Skill, which makes filling his Charge Bar easier; and the more Charge Attacks he fires off, the longer the buffs from his skills last.

  • Charge Attacks extend the duration of his skills' buffs by 2 turns, allowing him to potentially sustain his buffs indefinitely if he can fill his Charge Bar fast enough.

Weaknesses

  • Low base ATK means he needs as many ATK buffs as he can get.
  • His self-buffs have a rather short base duration (3 turns), which means they may wear off before he can extend them with a Charge Attack. Doom Slash's 8-turn cooldown means he will not be able to reapply his most powerful buff quickly should that happen.
  • Healing cap on Saving Slash's Drain is 300, which is not a lot; he may need assistance in replenishing his HP for Doom Slash's effect if he gets targeted by enemy attacks.
  • A "selfish" character; his skills only affect himself and do nothing to support the rest of the team.

How to Play

Though Owen's greatest boon are his skills' buffs, his skills shouldn't be used until he's ready to Charge Attack. That way, he will immediately extend his buffs' duration from 3 turns to 5 turns, which should be plenty of time for him to fill up his Charge Bar to extend their duration again.
