Cidala Sisters: Happy birthday, (Captain)!
Bai: Here's your present.
Huang: We both picked it out. Hope you like it!
Bai: Nope. I can already tell one isn't enough to satisfy (Captain).
Huang: Huh? You think so?
Bai: Yeah. Has to be two.
Huang: Two what?
Bai: Two...
Huang: Two what! Gifts?
Bai: I can't say anymore. (Captain)'s too greedy.
Huang: What was that about?
I don't know what's going on inside her head, but just ignore her, okay! Be happy with what you got!

2

Cidala Sisters: Happy birthday, (Captain)!
Huang: Thanks for everything!
Bai: Looking forward to spending more time together!
Huang: Since today's your birthday...
Bai: We'll keep you company all day!
Huang: With us here, we can keep your day's fortune in check with our feng shui!
Bai: We'll make sure your special day's the best day ever!
Huang: So you're stuck with the both of us today!
Bai: Aren't you lucky!

3

Cidala Sisters: Happy birthday!
Huang: We thought of the perfect way for you to spend your birthday!
Bai: If you do what we say, feng shui-wise it'll definitely be the best birthday ever!
Huang: First, you have to go into town and eat at a restaurant where there's a river to the right! Noodles would be even better!
Bai: Then, have some tea with your afternoon snack—a flower tea is best.
Huang: And if you're going for a walk, pick an open area that faces the northeast!
Bai: For dinner, you should have a meat dish. With a ton of seasonal vegetables too.
Huang: With us by your side the whole day, you'll be sure to have perfect luck!
Bai: We have plans for bedtime as well, but... Well...
Huang: W-we can't! It might be (Captain)'s birthday, but we can't go that far!

Huang: Happy...
Bai: New...
Cidala Sisters: Year!
Huang: We went ahead and read your fortune for the year ahead, (Captain)! And guess what we saw?
Bai: Lucky dishes—foods that'll bring you good luck if you eat it.
Huang: I saw a bowl of red bean soup. The really sweet kind.
Bai: And I saw a flavorful miso hotpot packed with meat and vegetables.
Huang: We took what we saw and put them together to make something extra lucky...
Bai: But, uh... It's a little, um...
Choose: Did you need to combine them?
Well...
Huang: I guess not...
Bai: But I'm sure the effects are extra powerful. You can expect a surge in fortune, booming business, and an increase in vitality if you eat it.
Huang: With this super lucky food in your tummy, you'll be unstoppable for the entire year!
Cidala Sisters: Eat up!

Valentine's Day Cutscenes

The sun will be setting soon, and Huang and Bai have each asked (Captain) to meet them in private.

  • Choose: Go see Huang.
    Huang: (Captain)!
((Captain) accepted my invite? I knew it! (Captain)'s crush is real!)
(Wh-what do I do now? Whatever. Just wing it, I guess.)
Thanks for coming, (Captain)! So, you know, it's Valentine's Day... And I got you stuff... You know, chocolate...
(Nyaaah! Why can't I stop stammering like an idiot!)
(This isn't going to work... I'm spoiling the mood... It's like... It's like...)
Hey, I have an idea! Let's go check in on Bai!
She's probably down in the dumps right now. I guess I really do feel better when I'm with her.
    (I bet she misses me.)
Bai: Oh well... (Captain) went to see Huang... I guess that's that.
((Captain), you tease. Like dangling string in front of a cat...)
Huang: Sigh... Never mind, (Captain). She's fine.
  • Choose: Go see Bai.
    Bai: Whoa! (Captain)!
((Captain) came to see me... It must have been too hard to turn down my request.)
(Right now (Captain)'s like a beast on the prowl for chocolate. I should be careful.)
Here, this chocolate is just for you, (Captain). Today being Valentine's Day and all...
(My heart is pounding. What will (Captain) do with that chocolate?)
(Ugh, this is too embarrassing. I need a change of scenery.)
Can we go check on Huang? I'm sure she's lonely, and I don't want to see her sad.
You know, I realize I'd rather do things together with her.
(Huang, it pains me to know you're wallowing in sadness.)
Huang: Nooo! (Captain) picked Bai over me?
(Wait, of course (Captain) did. Otherwise everyone would find out I'm the captain's secret crush!)
Bai: Sigh... I was wrong, (Captain). I should've known she'd be perfectly fine.

(Captain) had been unknowingly involved in a bout of sibling rivalry.
Of course the captain is oblivious to all of this.

2

Huang: Ready, and...
Cidala Sisters: Happy Valentine's Day!
Huang: It's Valentine's Day, so here's some chocolate from me, (Captain)!
Bai: I've got some chocolate for you too, as thanks for all the things you've done for me, (Captain)!
Cidala Sisters: Which are you going to have first?

  • Choose: I'll start with Huang's.
    I'll start with Huang's.
Huang: Huh? You're going to go with mine? I-if that's what you want!
    H-how is it? Good?
(I didn't think (Captain) would actually pick mine first...)
(It's so obvious that (Captain) likes me... Now even Bai knows!)
    Bai: ...!
(Oh... (Captain)'s eating Huang's chocolate while watching for my reaction... The captain's enjoying this.)
(Teasing me like this... That's pretty bold of (Captain)...)
Huang: Y-you're done eating already? Okay, then I guess you can try Bai's now!
Come on, quick! Before Bai and everyone else realizes what's going on!
  • Choose: I'll start with Bai's.
    I'll start with Bai's.
Bai: Huh? You want my chocolate first? O-okay then...
    H-how is it? Good?
((Captain)'s a greedy one... I don't like how the captain's making me all flustered...)
    Huang: ...!
((Captain)'s playing mind games with me!)
(I know it! Pushing and pulling, trying to get my attention... It's all part of the strategy. That's why the captain chose Bai's chocolate!)
Bai: Y-you're done eating already? Okay, then you should try Huang's too.
Devouring it that fast's gotten me all embarrassed... What a Valentine's Day to remember...
3

Cidala Sisters: Happy Valentine's!
Huang: We've got chocolate for you! We made them ourselves, of course!
Which one are you gonna have first?
(Captain) opens the box to find both dark chocolate and white chocolate inside.

  • Choose: Dark chocolate.
    Bai: (That's mine...)
(How did (Captain) know that the dark chocolate was mine?)
(Could it be... from the smell? It must be... (Captain) must have remembered my scent...)
(I didn't realize (Captain) was that sensitive about scents. Now I'm worried...)
(Oh no... I wonder if the captain likes how I smell!)
(Captain) finishes eating the dark chocolate.
Bai: I-I hope you liked it...
  • Choose: White chocolate.
    Huang: (That's mine...)
(How did (Captain) know that the white chocolate was mine?)
(Could it be... fate? Was (Captain) fated to pick my chocolate?)
(I already know that the captain likes me, but I didn't think our fate would be this strong!)
((Captain) and I are connected by our fates after all!)
(Captain) finishes eating the white chocolate.
Huang: I-I hope you liked it...

Huang: Whoa, it's (Captain)! H-hey! Wh-what's up?
Bai: Huh? We have a job to exterminate monsters? Oh... Sure. Let's go...
Huang: Hm? Wh-what is it this time, (Captain)? A-are you sure you aren't forgetting something?
Bai: Huh? You want us to watch our step? Got it, thanks.
Huang: Wh-what now, (Captain)! C-could it be you're about to give us something!
Bai: Huh? The monster's nest is straight ahead? Right... Yeah...
Huang: (What's going on? This doesn't make any sense.)
Bai: (I thought (Captain) was playing coy, but maybe the captain's not planning anything after all?)
Cidala Sisters: Ah, (Captain)!
Huang: This box is for me and Bai? Gee, what could it be, I wonder?
Bai: A return gift for Valentine's Day, you say? O-oh yeah... It's White Day, isn't it...
Cidala Sisters: How could we forget...

2

Huang: (Captain), it's White Day today!
You've got something for us... right? I saw you give a gift to someone else earlier!
Bai: Don't tell me you've got nothing... That's too mean. After how you made me feel for an entire month...
Huang: Well... I guess that's how White Day works...
(Captain) breaks into a grin before holding out a huge box to Huang and Bai.
Huang: ...!
Is this... a present in return for Valentine's?
Bai: Whoa... It's so big. Bigger than anything you gave to the other people... Like two times bigger.
Huang: (I-it's so obvious.... This is nothing but proof that the captain likes me a lot more than everyone else...)
Bai: (This is overkill for something in return... Could it be that the captain wants something more from me?)
Laolao: It's bigger because there's two of you, gawr...

3

(Captain) has prepared gifts for the Cidala sisters in return for Valentine's.

  • Choose: Give it to Huang first.
Huang: A gift in return for Valentine's?
Th-thanks! I didn't think you'd give it to me first!
Meanwhile, someone is watching from the shadows.
Bai: ((Captain)'s gonna give Huang her gift and move on.)
(The captain's planning to spend more time with me and just get Huang over with first.)
(I know I'm cute, but is it really okay to treat us sisters so differently? You can be so cruel sometimes, (Captain)...)
  • Choose: Give it to Bai first.
Bai: A gift in return for Valentine's?
O-oh, thanks... I didn't think you'd give it to me first, and so blatantly...
Meanwhile, someone is watching from the shadows.
Huang: (Whatever the captain's giving to Bai, it's probably just something random.)
(On the other hand, I'm gonna get something extra special, and that's why (Captain)'s getting Bai over with first.)
(I wonder what kind of present it is. I feel sorry for Bai, so I guess I'll share some with her later too!)

1

Cidala Sisters: Gawr!
Bai: Nyahaha... Were you scared?
Huang: Nyahaha! You were totally scared!
We demand candy or meat! Otherwise face our pranks!
Bai: Too bad (Captain) likes to be toyed with.
Huang: Really? What a weirdo. I can't think of a good prank to pull though.
Bai: I can.
Whisper, whisper...
Huang: What! That's not a prank! That's just plain wrong!
Bai: Fine. I'll do it myself.
Huang: No way, uh-uh! Over my dead body!

2

Cidala Sisters: Rawr!
Huang: Nyahaha! Were you surprised, (Captain)?
Bai: It's Halloween today, so here goes...
Cidala Sisters: Trick or treat!
Huang: Give us treats or we'll have to play a prank on you! Or you can give us some meat instead of treats!
Bai: ((Captain)'s definitely going to pick "treat"... The captain wants to be pranked by us—I just know it...)
(Just what kind of prank is (Captain) craving for? I should set some boundaries...)
The captain takes out some treats and hands them to Huang and Bai.
Huang: Oooh, treats! Thank you!
Nyahaha! They're so yummy!
Bai: Huh? Wait... That means we don't get to prank (Captain). No way... Nom, nom...
Huang: Hm? What's wrong, Bai? You don't like the treats?
Bai: Nom, nom... Yum... Nom, nom...
Nom, nom... But then... Nom, nom...
Nom, nom... That's weird... Nom, nom...
Huang: Um, you shouldn't talk with your mouth full...

3

Cidala Sisters: Trick or treat!
Bai: Do you want to play a trick on us, or...
Huang: Give me a treat!
Hm? Wait, that sounded weird. Play a trick... on us?
Bai: It's not weird. (Captain)'s choosing between a trick or a treat, right?
Huang: Yeah, but we're the ones who need to play a trick if we don't get any treats!
Bai: Well, either way, I know (Captain) is dying to play a trick on me.
Huang: How do you know that!

Happy Holidays Cutscenes

Huang: The holidays are here...
Bai: Yep. Holiday time.
Huang: (Many people spend the holidays with their families, but this is also a prime time for couples...)
(A special day for sweethearts to exchange gifts and chow on meat dishes...)
Bai: (Staring into each other's eyes under the pretty lights... How romantic.)
(What a way to warm up a wintery night.)
Suddenly (Captain) walks over and says a cheerful hello.
Bai: Nyaaah! (Captain)! Don't sneak up on me like that.
Huang: You're going for a walk in town?
Bai: And you came to invite us?
Cidala Sisters: O-oh...
Huang: It's not like we have anything better to do, right?
Bai: N-nope...
Cidala Sisters: (I'm so nervous...)

2

Bai: H-happy holidays, (Captain)...
Huang: So... what are your plans for today again? You know, just checking...
Bai: You're gonna go shopping, come back... and decorate for the party tonight?
Huang: Then you're going to finish preparing for the feast, go into town again to walk around... and come back for the celebration?
Cidala Sisters: I see...
Bai: (But (Captain)'s so popular... The captain can't be planning to go out alone. I mean, everyone wants to spend the winter holiday with someone else.)
(I can already tell... I'm sure (Captain) is thinking of going out for some "shopping" and then running away with me...)
(What a holy night...)
Huang: ((Captain) definitely likes me...)
(The captain will probably come talk to me while we're decorating the ship, and then we'll go to a quiet place...)
(Just the two of us... And then (Captain) might try to c-c-confess...)
Cidala Sisters: (Oh my...)

3

Huang: Unlucky us! I can't believe we have to go get some last-minute things when we've got a party to attend.
Oh well, I guess walking around the streets during the winter celebration isn't that bad either. Right, (Captain)?
Bai: You're so shallow, Huang. This shopping trip isn't a last-minute thing at all... Everything was obviously planned.
(Captain) wanted to take us out to town this whole time.
Huang: Why would (Captain) want to do that? Besides, we got picked by drawing straws...
Bai: Don't you get it? That's where it was set up. It must've been some sort of trick... It's too late for us now.
This is a special winter night... Who knows what might happen?
(Captain)'s a dangerous one. We might never be able to return to the ship again...
Huang: Wh-what!
Hey. What were you saying about not being able to come back?
Bai: Th-there's probably something else the captain planned! Maybe (Captain) has a crazy present for us hidden onboard and plans to—
Huang: Yeah right!

Omen for Trouble

As Valentine's Day approaches, Huang and Bai notice their friends working hard at making chocolate. The sisters want to try their hand at chocolate-making as well, but are unable to agree on what kind of confection to make. Finally, they decide to each make something to give to (Captain) and have the captain decide which of their treats is better.

One afternoon, Huang and Bai visit the dining hall, hoping for a snack.
Cidala Sisters: ...
When they enter the room, the twins' eyes widen.
A few of their fellow crew members are gathered there, hard at work making chocolate.
Huang: Everyone's so focused...
Bai: I guess it's almost time for the yearly event of love called Valentine's...
???: Oh, Huang! Bai!
The Cidala sisters turn to see Clarisse and Anthuria approaching them.
Anthuria: Are you here to make some chocolate too?
Huang: No, we just came to get a snack.
Anthuria: Is that right?
Clarisse: Nothing planned for Valentine's? You're not going to make any chocolate?
Huang: Oh, I'll make some.
Huang: (I feel like (Captain)'s been making eye contact with me recently...)
Huang: (Probably trying to see if I'm preparing any chocolate...)
Huang: (It's so obvious... The captain's playing favorites.)
Huang: (But giving chocolate might make (Captain) think I'm serious...)
Huang: (A-and then... and then what if I get confessed to!)
Clarisse: ...?
Bai: Of course I'm making some myself too.
Bai: (Is it really okay for me to give out chocolate though?)
Bai: (I mean, what if (Captain) thinks I'm serious?)
Bai: (What if I'm not ready for what comes after that?)
Bai: (This Valentine's might become too much to handle...)
Clarisse: Hm? What's the matter with you two? You're making weird faces.
Huang: Erm, it's nothing...
Bai: I'm just thinking about what kind of chocolate to make.
Anthuria: Oh? If you're looking for ideas, why don't you try making something with us?
Bai: I want to think on it a bit more, so I'll pass for now.
Clarisse: Okay... I guess Anthuria and I'll get back to our own chocolate making then!
Anthuria: Yes, let's do that. The chocolate should've cooled down by now...
Anthuria: Oh, speaking of which, you came here for a snack, didn't you?
Anthuria: I haven't taste-tested them yet, but would you like to have some of the sweets I made?
Anthuria takes out some chocolates from a bag and hands them to Huang and Bai.
Anthuria: I tried mixing a variety of things with chocolate, so I'd love to hear which ones you like.
Clarisse: Good idea! Here, I'll give you some of mine too. Let me know how they taste!
Huang: Wow, thanks! I'll give them a try!
Bai: I'll tell you how they are later.
Anthuria: That would be lovely.
Clarisse: I'm pretty sure they're good! All the ingredients are perfectly safe and edible!
Clarisse and Anthuria smile at the sisters before returning to their dessert making.
Huang: Guess we'll go back to our room then!
Bai: Yeah, glad we got our munchies.
The two proceed to discuss what kind of chocolate to make for Valentine's as they nibble on their snacks.
Huang: I can't believe it's already Valentine's... I didn't think it'd get here so fast.
Bai: Yeah, sure goes by in a flash. Good that they reminded us.
Huang: So what should we make for this year's Valentine's?
Huang: If we're going to give it to (Captain), maybe we should make something a bit more romantic and mature...
Huang: Being the mature adults that we are, nyahaha!
Bai: Mature and romantic? What kind of chocolate would that be?
Huang: Let's see... Like those fancy ones with alcohol in them... or chocolate that's more bitter than sweet?
Bai: I've got no idea what you're talking about. What about that's mature and romantic?
Bai: Besides, (Captain) can't drink yet. So no can do.
Huang: Hm, true... What ideas do you have then?
Bai: Well, I think you were heading in the right direction. We just need even more of that mature touch.
Huang: Even more?
Bai: As one of my favorite books says...
Bai: Giving yourself for Valentine's is always effective.
Huang: Huh?
Bai: Like tie a ribbon around yourself and be the present you're giving to the other person.
Huang: I don't know if I want to give myself to someone else...
Bai: Not willing to put in the effort just shows how much of a child you still are.
Huang: Wha!
Bai: But you're right—that might be a little much, so maybe I'll just make chocolate shaped like myself.
Huang: Wha? Shaped like you?
Bai: Yep. (Captain) can eat it or do whatever else with it, and I don't actually have to be there the whole time.
Huang: Yeah, but preparing it will take ages...
Bai: We could even add a surprise to get the captain's heart pumping...
Huang: Whoa, hold it!
Bai: How's that for mature?
Huang: Maturity isn't the problem here!
Huang: We don't want to be tampering with (Captain)'s body!
Bai: It'll be fine. It's just a bit of stimulation.
Huang: That sounds like a real bad idea! I'm positive (Captain) won't like it at all.
Bai: Bet it'll still taste better than whatever you come up with.
Huang: Will not!
Bai: Will too!
Cidala Sisters: ...
The two glare at each other for a while. Suddenly, Huang claps her hands together.
Huang: I've got an interesting idea.
Huang: How about we both make chocolate for (Captain)?
Huang: Then the captain can decide which of ours is better.
Huang: Loser has to do what the winner says!
Bai: You got it. I'm definitely going to win this.
Bai: (There's no doubt that I'm (Captain)'s favorite, after all.)
Huang: ((Captain) likes me way too much to choose Bai's over mine.)
Huang & Bai: (My chocolate's going to win for sure.)
Laolao: What are those two troublemakers up to now, gawr?
Huang and Bai smirk in unison, both sure of their victories.
Meanwhile, Laolao sighs as he watches from the corner of the room.

Twofold Treats

Huang takes a look at feng shui and follows it to a store, where she buys all of her ingredients. She changes into a new outfit and begins her chocolate-making; however, the taste of her creations is abysmal. Clarisse and Laolao offer their help and the three of them manage to make a fresh batch of chocolate together.

Whose chocolate will (Captain) choose?
Huang and Bai feel the fire in their hearts burning, both determined to win over the captain with their confections.
But several days later, Huang is still lounging around with nothing ready for Valentine's.
Huang: Oh, crap. Valentine's is the day after tomorrow... I should really get started.
Huang: Yaaawn. We just docked at a town, so it's a good chance to get the ingredients I need...
Huang: I'll take a look at the feng shui. Let's see... This is north, and there should be a lake on the southwest side of town...
Huang: Aha, looks like that way's favorable. That's where I need to get my ingredients!
Huang: The feng shui's also pointing out that I should wear something cute, colorful, and extravagant when I give out my chocolate.
Huang: Which means it'll be even better if I wear something like that while I'm making the treats!
Huang: I don't have money to get new clothes though...
Huang: Oh, but I've got something I bought a while back! Let me see...
Huang: Here it is!
Huang: It's in a lucky color too, so this is perfect! I'll put this on and go buy my ingredients!
After acquiring the ingredients she needed from the shop, Huang gets to work making her dessert.
Huang: All right, done! All that's left is to win this!
Bai: Huang? You finished making yours already?
Huang: Hm?
Bai: Ooh, so that's what yours looks like. Pretty normal.
Huang: I'll let you in on something, Bai. It's not about the outside, but the inside.
Bai: Oh yeah? Can I have a bite?
Huang: Sure. I made a lot, so go for it.
When Huang nods her consent, Bai reaches out to take a piece of chocolate and pops it in her mouth.
Bai: ...!
Huang: What do you think? My specially made meat chocolate's bound to be delicious!
Huang: I made it so that the more you chew, the more juices come out from the meat!
Bai: ...!
Bai covers her mouth with her hand, her entire body trembling. Tears begin to stream from her eyes, and her complexion turns pale.
Huang: What? Is it that tasty?
Bai: ...!
Shaking her head frantically, Bai rushes out of the room and promptly disappears.
Huang: Huh?
Bai: Huff... Huff... That was some crazy chocolate...
Bai: How can you be so confident in something that disgusting? Unbelievable...
Bai: The sweet chocolate mixed with the greasy fat from the meat...
Bai: Rrg... Just thinking back to the taste makes me sick...
Huang: Y-you're kidding! I thought you liked meat and chocolate too, Bai!
Huang: How could it be bad if you love both? My chocolate's got the best of both worlds!
Huang takes a piece of her own chocolate and puts it in her mouth.
Huang: Mrf!
Her face immediately turns green as she scrambles out of the kitchen, struggling to contain the contents in her mouth.
Huang: Ugh... That's weird. According to the feng shui, all of my ingredients should be right...
Bai: You can't depend on feng shui for taste—you gotta use your own taste buds. In any case, I guess victory's mine.
Bai: I'll have to start thinking about what I want to make you do after you lose.
Triumphant, Bai leaves the kitchen without another word.
Huang: Oh, what should I do now...
Clarisse: Meat in chocolate? That's... pretty creative.
Laolao: Sigh... It's so awful, I can't stand to watch anymore, gawr.
Huang: Clarisse... Lao...
Clarisse: I don't know what's going on exactly, but you're still up for making something, right?
Clarisse: If you like, I can try to help.
Huang: Really?
Clarisse: Yeah! I'm pretty much done with my own Valentine's preparations.
Clarisse: Not to mention, as a friend, I can't bring myself to just sit around when I see you struggling like that...
Laolao: Sorry Huang's causing so much trouble. I can't take it anymore—I'll help too, gawr.
Huang: Thank you so much, Clarisse! You too, Lao!
Clarisse: Let's hurry on over to the kitchen then, shall we?
Huang: Yeah!
Huang: So after warming up the chocolate, we put the sugar in...
Murmuring to herself, Huang slowly tilts the bag of sugar and pours its contents into the chocolate.
Clarisse: Whoa, whoa! Stop, Huang! We have to measure the sugar first!
Laolao: That's way too much, gawr! Measuring everything is part of the basics of baking!
Huang: Hm? Why not just put however much we want?
Clarisse: However much we want... I've done that a couple of times with alchemy, and Master almost had my head...
Clarisse: Dessert-making requires care and attention, just like alchemy! We need to put in exactly the right amount for every ingredient.
Huang: Oh... All right.
But fixing Huang's carelessness proves difficult.
Huang: Huh? This bag won't open. Guess I gotta pull it harder...
Laolao: W-wait, gawr! If you pull it like that—
The next moment, the bag bursts open with a huge bang. Flour flies into the air, enveloping the entire kitchen in a powdery white cloud.
Huang: Cough, cough... Cough!
Laolao: I was too late... You know both you and Bai have incredible strength. Be more careful, gawr!
Laolao: So far you've done nothing but break kitchen utensils!
Laolao: Seven whisks, three bowls... And all that chocolate flying around from how much strength you've been mixing it with, gawr!
Clarisse: Ahaha... I didn't even know whisks could bend like that until today...
Huang: Hmph...
Huang: Hmm. The meat turned out to be a failure, but fish might work...
Laolao: Certainly not, gawr!
Huang: Ow!
Clarisse: Huang! If you want to add to the chocolate, how about something sweet like fruits?
Clarisse: Chocolates are a type of dessert, after all. I can't say it works too well with savory things...
Laolao: Clarisse is right, gawr!
Huang: But then it won't be original!
Laolao: Think about originality when you're able to make something that's at least edible!
Huang: Tch...
Huang: Done!
Several hours later.
With Clarisse and Laolao's help, Huang's batch of chocolate is finally complete.
Laolao: Clarisse, thank you for your assistance today, gawr.
Clarisse: No worries! It was pretty fun!
Clarisse: Besides, I got to know Huang a lot better!
Laolao: She's lucky you're so patient, gawr...
Huang: Now all that's left is to wrap this up for (Captain), huh? That was a lot easier than I imagined...
Huang: But I know (Captain) absolutely adores me, so I'm sure this is more than enough!
Clarisse: ...!
Huang: Hehe. Just you watch, Bai! My chocolate's about to take the spotlight!
Huang proudly lifts up the finished chocolate, a smug smile on her face.
Exasperated as always, Laolao gives her a tired look.
Clarisse: Hey, I know we're friends and all, but I'm not going to let you keep (Captain) all to yourself!
Clarisse raises her voice in protest, determined to get her share of the captain's attention as well.

Twofold Treats: Scene 2

After observing Huang for some time, Bai also follows the advice of feng shui and changes into a charming outfit before beginning her chocolate-making. However, all of the unique ingredients she adds to the batter causes her chocolate to taste awful. Noticing Bai's disappointment, Anthuria and Laolao step in to help her make a new batch.

Huang is hard at work making chocolates as Valentine's Day approaches.
Motivated by her sister's efforts, Bai also gets to work the day before Valentine's.
Bai: First, I need to check if it's actually okay feng shui-wise to shape the chocolates like myself...
Bai: I see... Looks like I was right.
Bai: And it's telling me that I should wear something that's cute, colorful, and extravagant when I present my chocolate.
Bai: Come to think of it, Huang changed too, didn't she? She must've checked the feng shui for that too.
Bai: Oh well, whatever. I've got all my ingredients already, so I'll go change and get started.
Bai: It's in the perfect lucky color too. It's already clear who's going to win this.
Bai focuses on her dessert-making for the next few hours.
Bai: Hehe... It's done.
???: Wow...
Bai: Huang?
Turning around, Bai finds Huang standing there with a look of disgust on her face.
Huang: I heard you were making some chocolate so I came to see...
Huang: I can't believe you're actually making all of them to look like yourself.
Bai: It's the perfect idea. I even took a look at the feng shui.
Bai: And just so you know, I'm pretty confident it's going to taste great too. Unlike yours.
Huang: Wow, rude!
Bai: I studied up on how to craft chocolate and made the right selections for a more mature taste from one of my favorite books.
Bai: Oh yeah. Do you want to try one, Huang?
Huang: Nope. Why would I want to eat something that's shaped like you?
Huang: Actually, anything that's shaped like you is basically shaped like me too.
Bai: Whatever. Anyway, it's obvious my chocolate's going to win.
Bai: It's filled with everything that appeals to someone mature.
Bai: Yours won't even hold a candle to mine.
Huang: Oh yeah? Okay, guess I'll give it a try then if you're so confident it's that good.
Huang reaches out for a nearby bowl. Sticking her finger into it, she swipes up some leftover chocolate and gives it a taste.
Huang: ...!
The next minute, Huang's face turns from red to green to being as pale as a sheet.
She runs out of the kitchen as fast as she can, hand over mouth.
Bai: Huh?
Huang: Huff... Huff... I can still taste it in my mouth... Mrf!
Huang: What did you even put in there, Bai?
Huang: This is way worse than my meat chocolate!
Huang: It's bitter, spicy... everything's burning and tingling.
Bai: I didn't put in anything weird.
Bai: I put in a bit of capsicum, pepper, turmeric, and some other fun spices.
Huang: Everything about that is weird! And didn't we talk about not using suspicious ingredients?
Bai: You only think it's suspicious 'cause you're still a child. This is just a more sophisticated taste.
Laolao: I don't believe that for a second, gawr! What are you thinking?
Anthuria: I agree. Only a select few would enjoy those kinds of sweets.
Bai: No way... You haven't even tasted the chocolate. Don't knock it before you try it.
Bai uses a spoon to scoop some chocolate out from the bowl and hands it to Anthuria and Laolao.
Laolao: ...!
Anthuria: ...
Laolao presses a paw to his mouth before he, too, exits the room promptly.
Huang: Lao!
Bai: That's strange. Anthuria's an adult, and see? She's doing just fine...
Anthuria: ...
Bai: Anthuria?
Huang: She's passed out while standing!
Bai: I don't understand...
Huang: You don't need to understand! We need an antidote to fix this!
Anthuria: I've never tasted chocolate this terrible before... Rrg!
Laolao: S-sorry, gawr... Bai's causing so much trouble for you... Rrg!
Huang: Look at what your chocolate's doing to everyone! That's how bad it is!
Bai: It can't be...
Bai falls to the ground, dejected.
Huang: Well, I guess that's that! In comparison to Bai's, my chocolate's definitely...
Huang: Rrg! Just remembering the taste makes me sick...
Huang: I'm... going to go back to our room first...
Her face pale, Huang makes her way out of the kitchen in slow, unsteady steps.
Bai: This is so embarrassing...
Anthuria: So from what I can tell... you want to make something more sophisticated, don't you?
Bai: Yeah.
Anthuria: I can help you with that. I mean... at this rate, the damage is going to be a lot worse if I don't give you some pointers.
Laolao: I couldn't agree more, gawr... Just can't keep my eyes off of you girls for a second, can I?
Bai: Some advice... would be great.
Bai: So first, I break up the chocolate and warm it up...
Bai takes the chocolate and begins to break it apart with her hands.
Laolao: Ah, hang on. Let's not use our hands, gawr.
Bai: Huh? But it's faster this way.
Anthuria: Try using a knife to finely chop up the chocolate. If you do that, the chocolate will melt more evenly and save you trouble later.
Anthuria: It'll definitely make the chocolate a lot smoother too.
Bai: I didn't know that. In that case, I can do this to break it up into really small pieces.
Bai takes up her Supreme Tiger Warhammer and raises it above the chopping board.
Laolao: Are you out of your mind, gawr! You use that and there won't be chocolate or a kitchen left!
Anthuria: Yes, why don't we stick to the knife?
Bai: How about some turmeric... and a love potion...
Laolao: No putting in questionable ingredients!
Bai: They're not questionable! It's just a few drops!
Bai: It'll help warm up the body, so I don't see the problem. Benefits like... good circulation, and stuff!
Laolao: Don't call them benefits if you're just saying them off the top of your head, gawr! Don't tell me you've tried the love potion before?
Bai: I mean, I was curious...
Anthuria: Um, different people's bodies can react to ingredients in different ways, so it's best we don't get overly creative.
Bai: I guess that's true... Good point, Anthuria. I didn't think of that.
Laolao: Well you should've, gawr...
Bai: It's done!
Several hours later.
With Anthuria and Laolao's assistance, Bai finally succeeds in making a fresh batch of chocolate.
Anthuria: Looks like we managed to make a normal and delicious batch.
Laolao: Thank you for taking the time to give her advice, gawr... Truly, thank you.
Laolao and Anthuria look exhausted as they glance over at Bai, who is grinning smugly to herself.
Laolao: She's more knowledgeable than Huang, but the questionable nature of her knowledge makes her more of a handful...
Anthuria: You've certainly got a lot on your plate...
Laolao: I'm rather used to it, gawr...
Anthuria: Oh, by the way, wrapping the chocolate up nicely and thinking about how to give it to the other person are good ideas too. Those kinds of small things make people happy.
Bai: Wrapping... and how to give it out? Hm, I might've read about that somewhere before.
Bai: I remember the book saying something about...
Looking thoughtful, Bai shifts her gaze to Anthuria.
Anthuria: Um, what is it?
Bai: Hmm...
After staring at her for some time, Bai looks down at herself.
Bai: We live in a society where people notice how others look... Maybe I should think more about how I can impress other people...
Laolao: You better not come up with any more crazy ideas, gawr...
Anthuria: I'm not sure what exactly you're thinking about, Bai... but I think you should do what you do best.
Anthuria: Just be yourself, and everything will play out just fine.
Bai: Oh, don't worry. I don't have a problem reinventing myself if it's for the better.
Laolao: Sometimes "reinventing" makes things worse, gawr.
Bai: Ah... But I'm not sure I want to give (Captain) too much attention. I don't want to be too distracting, you know?
Bai: What if the captain starts looking at me and forgets all about the chocolate I worked so hard to make?
Anthuria: I'm sure (Captain) would never forget about something you put so much effort into!
Anthuria: I suppose I should make sure the captain doesn't forget about my chocolate too, just in case...
Laolao: Always the popular one, that (Captain).
Anthuria blushes while Bai continues to rile herself up by thinking of ways to impress the captain.
Laolao smiles resignedly as he watches the two fuss over their Valentine's plans.

Twofold Treats: Scene 3

Valentine's Day arrives. The Cidala sisters give (Captain) their chocolate and ask which of theirs tastes better. When the captain looks to Laolao for help, Laolao apologizes for the trouble the twins have caused and offers up chocolate of his own. Seeing (Captain)'s big smile after eating Laolao's chocolate, Huang and Bai determine Laolao to have broken the rules. The sisters make him eat their failed chocolates as punishment, much to his dismay.

Finally, Valentine's Day arrives.
Huang and Bai call (Captain) over, hiding their gifts behind their backs.
Cidala Sisters: Happy Valentine's, (Captain)!
Laolao: Thanks for coming over, (Captain). I know you're quite busy today, gawr.
The captain smiles and replies that it's not a problem at all.
Huang: I made some chocolate!
Huang: Wait! Before you say anything, I want to let you know that I'm just giving this to you as a friend, okay?
Huang: You've helped me out a lot, so I wanted to give you something as thanks...
Huang: A-anyway, here you go!
Bai: I made some too. Here, take this.
Bai puffs out her chest and approaches the captain, doing her best to appear graceful and confident in her posture.
Bai: (Captain)...
However, she loses her footing and the box flies out of her hand, landing on the ground.
Bai: ...
Bai thinks for a moment before picking up the box and attempting a practiced pose.
But the result is the same, and the gift ends up on the ground once more.
Bai: ...
Huang: Have you gone crazy for real this time?
Bai: ...
Bai: Dear Anthuria, I tried my best to learn from you, but it was to no avail.
Bai: Despite the fact that we are both Erunes, I have a long way to go before I can compare to you.
Bai: Just what makes us so different? This remains a mystery I must consider from here on out. Yours truly, Bai.
Eyes filled with tears, Bai opens the box and takes out one of the chocolates.
Bai: (Captain), say "aah."
Huang: Huh?
Bai: Heh. I read in a book that feeding is an effective way of making someone happy.
Bai: You like this too, don't you, (Captain)?
Huang: No way! You're just being nice, aren't you, (Captain)?
The captain gives a reluctant smile in reply.
Huang: See? (Captain) doesn't know what to say now!
Bai: The captain's a reserved person, so it must be embarrassing to be fed in public.
Bai: But deep inside, I'm sure (Captain) actually loves it!
Confident, Bai flashes Huang a triumphant smile.
Bai: (With this, I've basically won!)
Huang: (Judging from the way she's smiling, she thinks she's won already...)
Huang: (The captain likes me a lot. There's no way I won't win!)
Huang: (But wait. Bai's my twin...)
Huang: (Since I said I'm only interested in being friends, the attention's shifting to Bai instead!)
Huang: (Captain)! Y-you know you're special to me, right?
Huang opens her own box of chocolates to pluck one out.
Huang: H-here, (Captain)! Say "aah"!
Bai: Hey, quit copying me! I was first!
Huang: I was the one who wanted to give out chocolates first!
Bai: Okay, let's have (Captain) decide then.
Huang: Fine!
Huang: Whose chocolate do you want to have, (Captain)?
Cidala Sisters: Mine, right?
  1. Huang's.
  2. Bai's.

Choose: Huang's.
Huang: Hah! I thought you'd want to eat mine!
Huang: (It was obvious... (Captain) likes me too much!)
Bai: Hmph... We still don't know whose is better yet though!
Huang: All right, open wide! Aaah.
Despite being red from embarrassment, Huang leans over to offer her chocolate.
(Captain) opens wide and takes a bite.
Huang: Well? What do you think?
The captain nods with approval.
Bai: Out of the way, Huang.
Huang: Wha! Hey, I still need to know if—
Bai: Next up is me.
Here, (Captain)! Aaah.
Ambushed, (Captain) does as instructed and takes a bite of Bai's chocolate too.
Bai: Hehe. Overwriting complete.
Huang: What! How could you do that to your own sister?
Huang: Okay, let's hear it, (Captain)! Whose chocolate do you like better, mine or Bai's?

Choose: Bai's.
Bai: I mean, the choice was o-obvious.
Huang: We still don't know who's going to win yet! My chocolate definitely tastes better!
Bai: Nuh-uh. Mine's better for sure, and I'm going to prove that right now.
Bai: Here, (Captain). Aaah.
With a confident smile, Bai offers a piece of her chocolate to the captain.
(Captain) opens wide and takes a bite.
Bai: Well? What do you think?
The captain nods with approval.
Bai: Duh. I'm not about to lose to Huang.
Huang: Next! Try mine, (Captain). Aaah!
Ambushed, (Captain) does as instructed and takes a bite of Huang's chocolate too.
Huang: Delicious, right? Overwriting complete!
Bai: You should be ashamed of yourself...
Bai: Okay, let's hear it, (Captain)! Whose chocolate do you like better, mine or Huang's?
Continue 1
The captain hestiates, unsure of how to respond to the sudden question.
Bai: It's okay, (Captain). You can say it. You can say that mine was tastier.
Huang: No, I'm positive mine was! Right, (Captain)?
Cornered by the twins, the captain glances at Laolao.
Laolao: Stop that right now! You're making (Captain) uncomfortable, gawr!
Cidala Sisters: Hmph...
Laolao: I'm sorry these two are causing such a ruckus, (Captain).
Laolao: I'd like you to have this, gawr.
Laolao takes out a beautifully wrapped box of chocolates and hands it to the captain.
Laolao: See this as a form of compensation for the trouble these twins have caused, gawr.
After thanking Laolao, (Captain) unfolds the wrapping paper and tries a chocolate from the box.
Laolao: How is it?
  1. Delicious...

Choose: Delicious...
Laolao: Glad to hear, gawr.
Laolao: I'm sure it tastes all the better after eating the chocolate from those two.
Laolao: Other members of the crew helped me make it, so the credit goes to them. The first batch I made was absolutely horrible, gawr!
Cidala Sisters: Hmph...
Huang: (Captain) looks so much happier eating Laolao's chocolate than ours.
Bai: Yeah. The captain looked more excited receiving it, too.
The twins' icy stares bore into Laolao, who breaks out into cold sweat.
Laolao: Somehow... I've got a baaad feeling, gawr...
Huang: Hey, Bai. Didn't we say whoever loses needs to listen to whatever the other person says?
Bai: Yeah. And Laolao broke the rules... which means he automatically becomes the loser.
Laolao: Huh, me? What are you talking about, gawr?
Bai: Do you still have any of the failed chocolates, Huang?
Huang: Yep, a whole lot of them.
Bai: Looks like we've got someone who could eat them up for us.
Huang: Perfect. After all, it'd be a waste to throw them away.
Huang and Bai turn to Laolao, menacing smiles on both their faces.
Laolao: Ack! H-hold on, gawr! Stop this right now!
Laolao: If you make me eat that stuff, I'm gonna...
Huang & Bai: Hehehe.
Laolao: Help me, (Captain)... You're going to eat some of this too, right?
  1. Hate it to break it to you, but...
  2. Sorry, Laolao.

Choose: Hate it to break it to you, but...
Choose: Sorry, Laolao.
Laolao: (Captain)!
Huang and Bai inch closer and closer to Laolao.
(Captain) takes the opportunity to make an escape, relieved that the twins are distracted for the time being.
