1

Mimlemel: Happy b-day. This song goes out to you.
Turtleton: Just hearing the little lady play her horn fills me with energy.
Turtleton: Maybe it'll even make you feel young again, (Captain). Ohohoho...

2

Mimlemel: Congrats on getting older.
To celebrate, this turtle's going to sing to my tune.
Tweedle-deedle-doo!
Turtleton: You're in for a good show, (Captain). I may not look it, but I'm pretty confident in my dance moves.
With the little lady's music as accompaniment, my jitterbug is going to hit like a tidal wave.

3

Mimlemel: Congrats. Turtleton told me to bring you some cake, so... here.
Riding on his shell made for a stable journey, so the decorations are still perfect. You should thank him.
Turtleton: Who knew I would still be learning new tricks at my age?
This old turtle's life has been filled with new wonder ever since I met the little lady and joined your crew.
I'm very grateful for all the happiness you and Mimlemel have brought to my life. Here's to many happy years ahead.

4

Mimlemel: Toot-toot!
Looks like you got older again. Here's you present.
It's a ticket for a tour of the seas of Auguste. I'll show you all they have to offer. Well, Turtleton will.
Turtleton: Hoho, we'll make sure to go on a warm, sunny day. It'll be delightful.
The seas of Auguste are different every year.
I'm sure that we'll find something new and exciting.

Mimlemel: Zzz... Bring it on...
Turtleton: Well, if it isn't (Captain). Happy New Year. I'm such an old-timer, I always end up stirring at the crack of dawn.
I wanted to see the first sunrise, but the little lady wouldn't let go of my shell. So I covered her in a blanket and headed out.
But thanks to that, I'll have the good fortune of watching the sunrise with her... and you too of course, (Captain).

2

Mimlemel: Time to watch the New Year's sunrise. You're coming along, (Captain).
Thankfully, Turtleton's already found a fantastic spot for us.
Turtleton: Ohoho, I keep track of the places with nice sunlight. It's how I'm able to dry my shell so fast.
What a nice feeling it is to know that my hobby comes in handy for you two.

3

Mimlemel: Mmm. (Captain), you smell good. Do you have delicious snacks with you?
Oh, mochi, huh? Let's bake some.
Turtleton: Ohoho, now that's a mouthwatering scent if I ever smelled one!
Eat your fill, you two. You'll need your strength for the year ahead!
Hm? Me? Oh, I'm afraid I'll pass for now.
When you get to be my age, it's nicer to watch the young folks enjoying themselves.

4

Mimlemel: Kotatsu... Nice...
Turtleton: Little lady, wake up. You'll catch cold if you sleep in the kotatsu.
If I let you catch a cold, I'll be too ashamed to ever show my face in front of the others again.
Ah, (Captain), perfect timing! Please pull the little lady out of this thing.
If you put her on my back, I'll take her right to bed.
Mimlemel: Cold... Make a kotatsu grow from Turtleton's back.

1

Mimlemel: Here. I expect triple in return.
Turtleton: Oho... So Valentine's Day is a time for people to express how much they care. What a delightful custom.
In that case, I'll give each of you a lovely shell that I picked up in the waters of Auguste.
Don't be shy. Please accept it as an expression of this old coot's thanks.

2

Mimlemel: Here, it's shellfish-shaped chocolate.
Turtleton kept staring at them in front of the shop, so I bought a bunch.
Turtleton: Ohoho... That shape reminds me of the lovely summer we all spent together.
Why don't we reminisce about that summer while you savor the chocolate, (Captain)?

3

Mimlemel: Here. It's this year's chocolates.
Turtleton helped me make them. I expect you to put just as much effort into your thank you gift on White Day.
Turtleton: Ohoho, oh little lady, (Captain) always pulls out all the stops for us.
She wanted us to make the chocolate together - just to show you that little extra appreciation.
That little lady knows I love it when she includes me... What a sweet child.
Oh, almost forgot to mention. I put special gloves over my flippers while we were in the kitchen, so you can partake without worry!

4

Mimlemel: It's Valentine's Day. Here's your chocolate.
Turtleton helped me again this year. Honestly, he did eighty percent of the work.
Turtleton: Hoho... There's no need to be so humble, little lady.
I know that you were doing your best too.
(Captain). Thanks to the little lady, we managed to make another delicious chocolate this year.
Please enjoy it, and then make sure to praise her for her efforts.

Mimlemel: Nice. Bring on the thank-you gifts.
Turtleton: Good for you, little lady. Make sure to show your appreciation to (Captain), now.
Oh, you forgot to bring me a present? There's no need to worry about me.
After all, just seeing her smile is the greatest gift of all.

2

Mimlemel: This is thanks for Valentine's? How nice of you.
Wait, is this kelp? I can't eat this.
Turtleton: Oh my... Did you mean to give that to me, (Captain)?
What a sweet child you are... I gladly accept.

3

Mimlemel: Tweedle-deedle-doo!
Nice. You brought the goods. Thank you.
Turtleton: We're very grateful to have a thoughtful captain such as yourself, (Captain).
Sweets for the little lady, artisanal seaweed for myself—you really outdid yourself. Well, bon appetit!
Mimlemel: Hmm...
That seaweed must be delicious if you're already digging in. Let me have a bite.

4

Mimlemel: That's a lot of sweets and seaweed. Thanks for the return gift.
I'll include Turtleton's share and be doubly grateful.
Turtleton: Little lady... What a kind child.
To think that you would feel grateful in my stead... I truly am proud to be your ride.
I need to show (Captain) my gratitude too!
Watch my seaweed-boosted turtle spin!
Haaaaah!

Trick or Treat Cutscenes

1

Mimlemel: A swimsuit's basically a costume this time of year. So let's go get those treats.
Turtleton: I see. So this event is all about surprising people into giving you sweets.
I'll run as fast as these flippers can carry me so the little lady can collect a mountain of delicious treats.

2

Mimlemel: Speed is everything on Halloween. It's time to race down the streets and forage all the candy.
Turtleton: You got it, little lady! Boy am I glad I practice my turtle spin on a regular basis!
Hold on tight!
Kyaaah!

3

Mimlemel: C'mon, (Captain). Hop on Turtleton's shell.
Today you're going to be my seat belt. Hold onto me tight, okay?
Turtleton: I see what you're getting at. If (Captain) has your back, then we can swim at higher speeds, is it?
You think maybe we should even try a mega fast shell spin?
Your wish is my command, little lady! I'll try my hardest to make this a memorable Halloween for you!
Well, are you ready, (Captain)? Those waves won't surf themselves! On your mark...
Haaaaah!

4

Mimlemel: You want to ride on Turtleton's back again, (Captain)?
He's pretty booked, this year, but I can squeeze you in.
Turtleton: Hoho... Remember how last year the three of us made quite the scene spinning around town?
Apparently we attracted the attention of the local children.
This year, the little lady gave them permission to ride on my back and try out the turtle spin for themselves.
I'm thrilled that this old turtle is getting a chance to bring the little tots some joy.

5

Mimlemel: Happy... Halloween...
Turtleton: Ohoho. Your act's so convincing, one might think you truly are a zombie!
Mimlemel: Scarier zombie, bigger candy haul.
Let me bite you, (Captain). Then we'll hop on Turtleton's back and terrorize the town. It'll be candy for days.
Turtleton: Look at you, little lady, all fired up. This old coot'd be honored to serve as your zomb-mobile.
Fret not about the journey back—there's enough space for a mountain of candy on my shell.
Mimlemel: Let's get this party started.
Tootle-tootle-too!
Turtleton: Ohoho! What a wonderful tune! I dare say it'd even get the undead on their feet and dancing!

Happy Holidays Cutscenes

1

Mimlemel: I really want to see Santa. But this outfit's cold.
Turtleton: I'm with you, little lady. I don't think you'd be able to pry me away from this hearth.
It might be nice to spend this special night in a warm, toasty room. Don't you agree, (Captain)?

2

Mimlemel: It's too bad there's not more holiday food for Turtleton.
Turtleton: Ohoho... The sentiment alone is enough to make my holidays, little lady.
Besides, seeing you and (Captain) satisfy your palates fills me up more than any food possibly could.

3

Mimlemel: Ah, (Captain). I won't give up my spot in front of the fireplace, so don't even ask.
Turtleton's comfortable here, and this way my fried chicken won't get cold. Great real estate.
Turtleton: Hoho, now look here, little lady. I'm glad you care for me, but it's not very nice to turn away a friend.
(Captain), why don't you hop on my shell, and we'll all nestle closer to the fire?
We'll make this holy night the coziest one yet.

4

Mimlemel: I grabbed the spot in front of the fireplace for us. What did you bring?
Chicken, cake, and... Oh, this is seaweed for Turtleton.
Nice. You can sit on his shell with me.
Turtleton: Hoho, what good fortune to be able to spend the holy night with you and the little lady again this year, (Captain).
I had heard that someone named "Santa Claus" is supposed to be giving out presents tonight, but...
What need do I have for him when I have you two?

Mimlemel Sets Sail

Clad in her brand-new swimsuit, Mimlemel arrives in Auguste only to realize that she can't bring Stumpeye, Hornby, and Pun-Kin into the water. Stumpeye and company save the day by recruiting an old life guard's bugle named Bugleena, as well as an elder turtle named Turtleton, to accompany her in their place.

With summer on the horizon, (Captain) and Lyria cheerfully plan for the crew's upcoming vacation in Auguste.
???: Guys. Can we talk?
Suddenly a young lady with mint-colored hair pokes her head into the room, strolling up to them as they make their preparations.
Her name is Mimlemel. A mysterious girl of few words, she instead uses the horn she carries to express herself.
After encountering (Captain) and company in a faraway forest, she now sails the skies as a member of their crew.

Although Mimlemel seems to be capable of breathing life into inanimate objects, the mystery behind her power has yet to be solved.
Lyria: Sure, Mimlemel! We're all ears!
Mimlemel: Toot-toot!
Mimlemel: I want to see the ocean. I'm coming to Auguste.
Lyria: Really? Yay! This will be our first beach trip together!
Mimlemel: Nice. But I need the right clothes. Help me pick something out.
Lyria: Of course! Let's go shopping right now!
Djeeta is the Main Character

Lyria: You should come along too, (Captain). We could use your input!
Mimlemel: Smart and stylish is best. Hope we find something.
And so (Captain) and company set out in search of the perfect swimsuit, in order to prepare Mimlemel for some fun in the sun.
Gran is the Main Character

Lyria: Hehe. I hope we find the perfect swimsuit.
Mimlemel: Tootle-too!
(Captain) smiles as he watches Lyria and Mimlemel bounce with excitement on their way into town.
Stumpeye: Well, I'll be. Never thought I'd see the day she'd invite herself along. I can feel my dried up sap runnin' again!
Hornby: It certainly is a pleasant surprise. All the fun she's had with (Captain) and the others must have inspired her to take the initiative.
Pun-Kin: Ehehe. The ocean, huh? Must be totally different from lakes and fields and whatnot. I can't wait for our vacation with the princess!
Stumpeye: Listen up, tenderfoot. We need to flesh out a plan so we don't end up bein' a bunch of stumps in the mud. Got it?
Pun-Kin: You bet! Oh boy, I'm so excited!
Hornby: I've heard the ocean is enormous. That means I can sing to my heart's content! My melody will carry all the way to the horizon!
Mimlemel: Tootle-tootle-too!
Stumpeye: And naturally, Mim'll be ridin' yers truly. These wheels'll carry her anywhere, be it land or sea.
Stumpeye: That's right—even across the waves!
Mimlemel: Tweedle-deedle-doo!
Pun-Kin: Hey, no fair! In that case, I'll, um... I'll...
Pun-Kin: I know! I'll store up lots of juice so she can have a nice, cool drink whenever she gets thirsty!
Mimlemel: Pumpkin juice...
Mimlemel: Nice.
Mimlemel: Tweedle-deedle-doo!
As they daydream about their trip to the beach with Mimlemel, their expectations grow higher and higher.
But upon arriving in Auguste, things don't pan out quite like they had imagined.
Mimlemel: Meh. Forget the ocean. I'll just laze around here.
All Three: ...!
Rather than leaping into the sparkling blue, Mimlemel instead lounges around the beach house.
Lyria: Aww... But you wore your new swimsuit and everything! Are you really not going to swim?
Vyrn: What's the deal? You're already here, so you might as well go for a dip.
Mimlemel: I realized something.
Mimlemel gestures over to Stumpeye, Hornby, and Pun-Kin in the corner of the room.
Mimlemel: The ocean's bad news—they're not made for the beach. The salt water would hurt them.
Mimlemel: I'd die walking in this heat. And I'd die without my horn too. The sea's scarier than I thought.
Vyrn: Come to think of it, you were really down that time you lost your horn.
Mimlemel: Almost died then too.
All Three: What have we done!
Stumpeye: She was really lookin' forward to this, and we had to go and knot it all up!
Pun-Kin: This can't be happening! I wanted the princess to have tons of ocean fun!
Hornby: What should we do? Actually, is there anything we can do?
Stumpeye: Well, we sure as sap can't let ourselves be stumped. We gotta use everythin' in our bark to make sure she enjoys herself!
Filled with determination, Stumpeye and the others sneak away and set to work.
Pun-Kin: Um, so what're we looking for?
Stumpeye: There's gotta be somethin' we can do! And anyhow, it's better than sittin' back there sproutin' roots!
Hornby: Something we can do... Hmm...
Hornby: ...!
Stumpeye: What is it?
Hornby: I think something's... calling me...
Intrigued by Hornby's words, they begin searching the area.
Pun-Kin: Whoops!
Stumpeye: What're ya doin', tenderfoot? Slammin' into cabinets ain't helpin'!
Hornby: Wait! I know what was calling out to me. It was... that!
Among the fallen items strewn on the floor is an old wooden box with its lid hanging open, revealing its contents.
Vyrn: What's all the racket?
Oh, looks like a shelf broke.
Inkeeper: Goodness, I'm so sorry! That's what I get for hoarding so many odds and ends.
Mimlemel: ...!
That what I think it is?
Inkeeper: The thing in this box, you mean? Why, it's just an old life guard's bugle. These days they just use flares for emergencies instead.
Mimlemel: Can I play it?
The elderly woman nods, and Mimlemel picks up the bugle and raises it to her lips.
Mimlemel: Toot... Toot...
Mimlemel: Tootle-too!
Mimlemel: Nice.
Inkeeper: Hehe. If you like it all that much, it's yours. No one's played that bugle in ages, so I bet it would be glad to get some use.
Mimlemel: Thanks. Bugleena here can go in the ocean. One less reason to die now.
Lyria: Oh! Then why don't we all go for a swim together?
Mimlemel: But if I walk in this heat, I'll die. Carry me, (Captain).
Bugle in hand, Mimlemel joins (Captain) and company on their way to the beach.
Hornby: That bugle really saved the day.
Stumpeye: You said it. Seems we stumbled on somethin' real special.
Pun-Kin: A life guard's bugle, huh? That's so cool...
Mimlemel: Toot-toot...
Mimlemel floats along the waves, playing a cheerful melody on her new bugle.
Vyrn: Hey, are you gonna swim or what? You've just been driftin' around this whole time...
Mimlemel: Toot-tootie-toot...
Lyria: Hehe. It looks like she's a fan of floating.
Mimlemel: Toot-toot.
As (Captain) and the crew enjoy playing in the water, Mimlemel continues drifting along, fully content.
Mimlemel: Toot. Bloop-bloop.
Vyrn: Huh? Did that old bugle break? It's makin' some really weird sounds...
Mimlemel: Bloop-bloop...
Vyrn: Whoa, hang on! I think she's sinkin'!
All Three: ...!
In a panic, (Captain) and company scramble over to rescue Mimlemel.
Mimlemel: Thanks. I'm always riding Stumpeye, so sometimes I forget how to move.
Lyria: Ahaha... I guess that makes sense. In that case, swimming might be a little dangerous for you.
Vyrn: I'll say. Let's figure out somethin' to do on the beach instead!
Stumpeye: Th-thank goodness (Captain) made it in time.
Hornby: Say, do you think maybe a horn isn't enough? Doesn't she need something to ride on?
Pun-Kin: Yeah, let's look around! I mean, we found that bugle, so I bet we can find a comfy ride out there too!
Stumpeye: Good thinkin'! We oughta start by askin' the critters on the beach!
Meanwhile (Captain) suggests building sand castles on the beach, and Mimlemel perks up with interest.
Mimlemel: Sand castles? You can make buildings out of sand?
Lyria: Yeah! Even big, huge castles! They have a contest here in Auguste every year, and it's always really popular!
Mimlemel: Whoa...
Mimlemel: Tootle-too!
Vyrn: Haha, sounds like she's on board! C'mon—let's get buildin'!
Mimlemel happily throws herself into constructing sand castles with the crew.
Mimlemel: Okay, next.
Lyria: Oh my! You're really fast at this, Mimlemel!
Vyrn: And look at that detail work! We can't let her show us up, (Captain)!
Mimlemel: Heh. You're on.
Mimlemel: Taran-tara!
The sound of Mimlemel's bugle becomes significantly louder, as though expressing her own delight.
Suddenly she notices they have an unexpected guest.
Mimlemel: Huh? Who're you?
The crew turns to see an enormous turtle slowly approaching Mimlemel.
Lyria: Wow! What an incredible turtle! It looks so old and wise...
Vyrn: Looks like it's tappin' its feet to the rhythm. Think it came to hear the music?
Having searched the beach for a new means of transportation for Mimlemel, Stumpeye and company eye the turtle with interest.
Stumpeye: Do ya think that old-timer might be the turtle elder? The one known to oversee these waters?
Hornby: I bet you're right. He does carry himself with a certain dignity.
Pun-Kin: C'mon, let's go talk to him!
Pun-Kin: Hiya, Mr. Turtle! What'd you think of the princess's performance?
Stumpeye: Hold it, tenderfoot! At least introduce yerself first! Yer bein' rude!
Turtleton: Ohoho... Not to worry, young ones. You may call me Turtleton. I was captivated by this little lady's performance and came to hear more.
Turtleton: Ahh, this sound truly takes me back. I used to carry children who drifted too far back to shore on my shell, you see.
Stumpeye: So it is you. Yer that heroic turtle who used to appear out of nowhere whenever the bugle sounded an emergency.
Turtleton: Ohoho. That was a long time ago.
Stumpeye: ...
Stumpeye: I've got a big favor to ask ya.
Stumpeye approaches the turtle and leans forward as though bowing his head.
Stumpeye: We could really use yer help. The three of us don't have what it takes to make sure Mim can enjoy the beach safely.
With desperation in his voice, Stumpeye proceeds to explain the situation.
Turtleton: Hmm... I see. If you were to enter the ocean yourselves, there's no doubt it would take a toll on your life spans.
Turtleton: But I'm afraid supporting her weight would be too much for these old bones of mine, as much as I hate to admit it.
Stumpeye: Wait, she's not heavy at all. In fact, she's as light as a feather. And we really need somebody to carry her!
Stumpeye: You look like you've still got plenty of spunk left in ya. Please, I'm beggin' ya!
Turtleton: She must be very important to you. All the more reason for me to decline.
Turtleton: This old body of mine could stop listening to me at any moment. And I can't let myself be the reason that little lady gets hurt.
Turtleton: Way back when, I was able to lift these flippers clear over my shell, but they've been aching something awful recently...
Turtleton: Hm?
Just then, Turtleton stands for the first time and immediately realizes something has changed.
Turtleton: I can raise my flippers! It's like all my aches and pains have suddenly disappeared...
Turtleton: Could it be?
Eyes widened with surprise, the turtle looks over at Mimlemel.
Mimlemel: Taran-tara!
Turtleton: Is it because of that bugle? But why?
Stumpeye: Heh, it all makes sense now. Her power's affected ya too.
Hornby: You see, she has a mysterious ability. It's been a blessing to us, true... but it also has the potential to invite danger.
Pun-Kin: That's why we're protecting our princess so she doesn't get hurt!
Turtleton: I see. To think a girl so small could possess such an immense power...
Turtleton stares at Mimlemel, his eyes shining with admiration.
Setting his jaw with resolve, the turtle then turns back to the others and nods.
Turtleton: It must have been fate that I encountered that little lady. So she could tell this ancient shell it's too early to give up.
Turtleton: I take back what I said before—I'll do whatever I can to help. A kindess received deserves a kindness returned, after all!
Mimlemel: Huh? What's going on?
Vyrn: It's that turtle from earlier. Looks like it's squattin' down on the ground. Think it's hurt or somethin'?
The crew watches the turtle with confusion as it stares at Mimlemel silenty.
Lyria: Do you think... it wants you to ride it, Mimlemel?
Mimlemel: What?
(Captain) makes eye contact with the turtle and gets the sense it's trying to say something.
Turtleton: ...
  1. Seems tame enough—why not?
  2. It's telling you to hop on.

Choose: Seems tame enough—why not?
Vyrn: Yeah, doesn't look like it's gonna freak when you climb on its shell or anythin'. How 'bout givin' it a try?
Mimlemel: Hmm... In that case, maybe I will.

Choose: It's telling you to hop on.
Mimlemel: Wait. You can understand it?
Mimlemel: Well... Sure, why not.
Continue 1
At (Captain)'s recommendation, Mimlemel carefully climbs onto the turtle's back.
Turtleton: Hold on tight, little lady. I'll give you a grand tour of my home—the wide open sea!
Mimlemel: Whoa...
Mimlemel: Taran-tara!
Lyria: Wow! The turtle's speeding across the water with Mimlemel on its back!
Vyrn: Wonder if she's okay...
Actually, scratch that. Looks like she's havin' the time of her life!
Pun-Kin: Ahaha! I can tell she's having fun from way over here. I'm so glad!
Hornby: Yes. It seems she'll be in good hands this summer.
Stumpeye: We really owe ya, Mr. Elder. Take care of our Mim out there, ya hear?
Stumpeye and company listen to the sound of Mimlemel's bugle in the distance with a sense of accomplishment.
Perhaps aware of their feelings somehow, Mimlemel continues to play, the bright, vibrant tone echoing across the waves.

In Deep Water

Turtleton invites the crew to visit his homewaters, where Mimlemel puts on an impromptu bugle concert for his brethren. Distracted by the sight of the sea creatures dancing joyfully to the music, the crew fails to notice two suspicious men watching from afar.

Some time into their stay in Auguste, Mimlemel has acclimated to the ocean, and Turtleton has grown into his own as her chariot of sorts.
The day once again finds Mimlemel merrily playing her bugle, floating across the waves atop her new ride.
Mimlemel: Tweedle-deedle-doo!
Bugleena: Ahh... Nothing better than singing out on the open water!
Turtleton: Despite going unplayed for some time, your tone is still as magnificent as ever. I admire your youthful spirit.
Bugleena: Ehehe. Well, Ms. Hornby asked me to take good care of Mim, so that's what I'm going to do!
Bugleena: I have to do my best to sing in a nice voice so Mim enjoys it!
Turtleton: Ohoho, I see.
Oh, what's this? It seems even the fish below have recognized your efforts.
School of Fish 1: ...
School of Fish 2: ...
Lyria: Hehe. Looks like Mimlemel's music is popular with the fishies too!
Mimlemel: Huh? Wait. The fish can hear this?
Vyrn: Haha, look at her blush!
Mimlemel: Can it, lizard. I'm not blushing.
Mimlemel: Toot-toot!
School of Fish: ...
The fish bask in the midday sun, their scales glistening as they enjoy the sound of the bugle.
Turtleton: (Ahh... I can feel the melody from the top of my head to the tippers of my flippers.)
Turtleton listens attentively to the music as he swims along with Mimlemel securely on his back.
Turtleton: (Reminds me of the past, back when my brethren and I used to dance the night away to the sway of the waves.)
Turtleton: (Ever since our run-in with those human hooligans, we've done our best to lay low...)
Turtleton: (But I bet if they could hear this little lady's song, they'd be able to have a jolly old time, just like before.)
Turtleton: Hmm... I wonder if she'd be willing to come put on a performance for my brethren.
Bugleena: Ooh, you mean in your homewaters? I'd love to visit there too!
Bugleena: I bet if you asked Mim and the others, they'd be happy to come along! Let's try inviting them!
Turtleton: Ohoho. You think so? Then I suppose it wouldn't hurt to ask.
Encouraged by Bugleena's words, Turtleton signals with his flippers for (Captain) and company to climb aboard.
Lyria: Huh? The turtle looks like it's waving its flippers.
Mimlemel: Think it wants you to climb on. It's waving four times—for me, you, (Captain), and the lizard.
Vyrn: So it wants us to hop on its back too, huh? Whaddya think, (Captain)?
  1. Sounds fun! Let's go!
  2. It must have something in mind...

Choose: Sounds fun! Let's go!
The turtle bobs its head happily at (Captain)'s enthusiastic agreement.

Choose: It must have something in mind...
Despite not knowing the turtle's goal, (Captain) realizes it must have a reason for inviting them along.

Turtleton: Thank you, (Captain). Now then—time to set sail for my homewaters!
Turtleton: Greetings, my brethren. I'd like to introduce you all to the little lady I've decided to serve, as well as her friends.
Turtleton's Pal 1: ...!
Turtleton's Pal 2: ...?
Vyrn: Huh? There's a bunch of 'em comin' this way...
Lyria: It looks like they're all saying hello to Mr. Turtle here!
Mimlemel: You the bossman or something?
Mimlemel: Toot-toot!
Turtleton's Pal 1: ...!
The moment Mimlemel begins to play her bugle, every living creature in the area turns to face her in unison.
Turtleton: Ohoho, they must be amazed by the beauty of the melody.
Turtleton: It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say this little lady's music is the finest in all the skies. I brought her here because I wanted you all to hear it.
Turtleton: Now then, little lady. Would you mind playing your song for them?
Although she can't understand Turtleton's words, Mimlemel begins to play as though hearing his request.
Mimlemel: Taran-tara!
Turtleton's Pal 1: ...
Turtleton's Pal 2: ...
Lyria: Wow, that's amazing! They're all dancing to Mimlemel's song!
Lyria: Looks like a lot of fun. It kind of makes you want to join in and dance your cares away, doesn't it, (Captain)?
Turtleton: I never thought I'd see this sight again... I'd better make the most of it!
Bugleena: Ahaha! Make sure to dance carefully so Mim and the others don't fall overboard!
The sea creatures dance and swirl in time to Mimlemel's tune.
(Captain) and company delight in the performance as they watch the wondrous scene unfold before them.
???: Hey, is that the kid with the crazy power you were talkin' about?
???: Yep, that's the one. I thought she was just controllin' the turtle, but get a load of all those fish!
???: If we could get our hands on that power, we'd be the rulers of these seas!
Captivated by the impromptu concert, (Captain) and company fail to notice a solitary boat drifting nearby.
A pair of shady men stand on the deck, peering at Mimlemel with appraising eyes.

In Deep Water: Scene 2

A pair of poachers interrupt the performance and abduct Mimlemel, believing she has the power to control sea creatures with her bugle. Turtleton alone manages to board the ship as it speeds away, but the poachers spot him and lock him in a room with Mimlemel and Bugleena.

Mimlemel: Taran-tara!
Upon arriving in Turtleton's homewaters, Mimlemel wastes no time in engaging the resident turtles with her bugle-playing.
Drawn by the music, fish begin to gather in the area one by one, until they form a massive swarm.
Turtleton: Ahh, the little lady's music is truly in a league of its own...
Turtleton murmurs to himself as he surrenders to the melody echoing across the waves.
But all of a sudden, the peace is shattered.
Turtleton: I sense trouble!
Turtleton's Pal 1: ...!
Turtleton's Pal 2: ...!
Poacher 1: Gyahaha! Look out, comin' through!
Poacher 2: Hah! Never seen so many fish in one place! I'd love to drop some nets, but now ain't the time...
Poacher 2: After all, we didn't come here for a bunch of measly fish. We're after her!
Mimlemel's eyes widen with shock as the poachers grab her arm and begin pulling her onto the ship.
Mimlemel: What!
Lyria: Mimlemel!
(Captain) instinctively reaches out to save her but is a split second too late.
Turtleton: Oh no... It seems I'll have to take matters into my own flippers!
Turtleton: Everyone, look after the crew for me!
Turtleton kicks off the water, launching himself onto the ship and hurling (Captain) and company into the sea in the process.
Lyria & Vyrn: Whoa!
Turtleton's Pal 1: ...!
Seeing the skylubbers fall into the sea, the other sea creatures immediately swim to the rescue.
Vyrn: Did that turtle seriously just go after her?
Lyria: Oh no! It's too dangerous to go alone!
Turtleton's Pal 2: ...!
Turtleton's brethren nod in agreement and take off after the boat, with (Captain) and company seated securely on their backs.
Meanwhile Mimlemel finds herself in a cabin of the ship, cornered by the two poachers.
Mimlemel: Bring it on. I dare you.
Poacher 2: We ain't gonna hurt ya. We just want ya to tell us the secret to that power of yours.
Mimlemel: Power? What're you talking about?
Poacher 1: Don't play dumb. We saw you controllin' that turtle. And the fish too.
Mimlemel: Uhh, no. I wasn't controlling them.
Poacher 2: You don't know when to give up, do ya? We'd make a killin' if we could round up a bunch of fish and snatch 'em in one go. So spit it out.
Poacher 1: We used to make bank around here, but lately there haven't been any fish. Plus, there are all these new rules... Needless to say, business has been slow.
Poacher 2: And then, lo and behold, we came across you. A gal with the power to control animals and bend 'em to your will.
Mimlemel: Like I said, I can't do that. Have some common sense. That's the stuff of fairy tales.
Poacher 1: Give it a rest, kid. We've seen it with our own eyes. Just look.
Turtleton: F-forgive me, little lady...
Mimlemel: Huh? Showcasing your animal cruelty?
Poacher 1: Hey, this turtle climbed aboard all on its own. You made it come save you, ain't that right?
Poacher 1: If you teamed up with us, we'd have all of Auguste dancing in the palms of our hands! So whaddya say? Not a bad deal, right?
Mimlemel: Toot...
Poacher 1: Yo, what's with the lukewarm answer?
Mimlemel: Huh. So you can hear me.
Mimlemel: You weren't listening, so I thought maybe your ears were full of seawater.
Poacher 2: Dumb brat! You don't seem to grasp the situation you're in right now!
Poacher 2: You don't have the luxury of sayin' no. We'll give you a nice, long while to think over your answer!
Mimlemel: I said I don't have a power like that.
The poachers' footsteps fade as they walk away from the door.
A very puzzled Mimlemel finds herself locked in the room, with only her bugle and a turtle for company.

In Deep Water: Scene 3

Just as Turtleton is about to give up hope, he and Bugleena hear the sounds of (Captain) and company coming to their rescue. Heartened by this, Turtleton succeeds in breaking down the door, allowing Mimlemel to escape and join the crew in confronting the poachers.

Mimlemel sits in a locked room aboard a poachers' ship.
Mimlemel: Toot!
Turtleton: What to do, what to do...
As Mimlemel plays her bugle absentmindedly, Turtleton frets enough for the both of them.
Turtleton: Here I came to save the little lady, and I ended up getting myself caught along with her.
Turtleton: Stumpeye and the others put their faith in me to take care of her, and I let them down. At this rate I'll never be able to face them.
Bugleena: Come now, there's no reason to talk like that!
Bugleena: You can't throw in the towel yet! We're the only ones who can save Mim!
Turtleton: Hmm... I suppose you're right.
Turtleton: But what could an old barnacle like me possibly do to help?
Bugleena: There has to be something! So don't give up! Let's brainstorm together, okay?
In search of a way to escape, Bugleena and Turtleton glance around the room.
Bugleena: Hmm. Maybe you could... break down the door or something! Would that work?
Turtleton: Well, I might've been able to in my prime, but I'm not sure about now.
Turtleton: These flippers and shell used to be my pride and joy. Way back when, I would've already used them to defeat those hooligans and escape.
Bugleena: Huh... In other words, it'll be all over if we get caught. This is a toughie...
Bugleena: My song carries far and wide out on the water, but that probably wouldn't work in this room.
Turtleton: Yes, I'd imagine not. If only there was another fishing boat or something nearby...
Turtleton: But as boorish as those fellows are, they don't seem foolish enough to approach another ship.
Bugleena: Yeah. All I can hear outside is the sound of the waves...
Bugleena: Wait, what's that? Do you hear a strange noise?
The pair fall silent, straining to hear what's happening outside the room.
Turtleton's Pal 1: ...!
Turtleton's Pal 2: ...!
Vyrn: There it is! Get 'em!
Lyria: M-make sure to stay safe, everyone!
Poacher 1: Gyaaah! What the heck's goin' on? Is there a storm comin'?
Poacher 2: No—it's a huge school of fish! The ship's under attack by fish!
Poacher 2: And they're not alone. That brat's friends are with 'em too!
Bugleena: Did you hear that? (Captain)'s crew and your sea creature friends came to save us!
Bugleena: This is our chance to take Mim and escape!
Turtleton: I don't believe it. They all joined together to save the little lady without any concern for their own safety.
Turtleton: Well then! I can't very well fall victim to fear and let this opportunity go to waste!
Turtleton: Don't you worry, little lady—I'm going to knock down that door and get you to safety!
Turtleton: Augustean seas... Breathe your life into this old shell of mine!
Turtleton: Hyah!
Turtleton slams his body into the door with all his strength, bursting it open in an instant.
Mimlemel: Don't hurt yourself, old man.
Actually, isn't it kinda noisy? Wonder what's happening.
Mimlemel: Toot-toot!
Bugleena: That's right—keep playing me, Mim! I'll do my best to let everyone know where we are!
Turtleton: We need to regroup with (Captain) and the others. Hold on tight, little lady!
Mimlemel: Tweedle-deedle-doo!
Lyria: Listen! That's the sound of Mimlemel's bugle!
Vyrn: Got it! Head toward the sound!
Poacher 1: Argh! Hurry up and catch those intruders!
Poacher 2: Urgh... All this rockin' back and forth is gonna make me puke...
Poacher 1: Could you have picked a worse time to be seasick? We need to grab that girl and have her calm 'em down right—
Mimlemel: You rang?
Lyria: Mimlemel! I'm so glad you're okay!
  1. Are you hurt?
  2. Let's get out of here.

Choose: Are you hurt?
Mimlemel: I'm fine. Not a scratch on me.

Choose: Let's get out of here.
Mimlemel: Sounds good. This boat's a real drag. And all that swaying's making me sick.

Turtleton: Little lady, (Captain). It's time to disembark. But first—
Poacher 1: Hold it right there! Don't think we're lettin' you off this boat without a fight!
Poacher 2: You're gonna pay for messin' up our boat!
Turtleton: I won't let you lay a hand on the little lady! It's time for me to show what these old flippers can do!
Bugleena: Bad boys like you deserve a good spanking!
Get 'em, Mimlemel! (Captain)!
Mimlemel: Fine. Somebody needs to take care of these losers.
As though sensing the turtle and bugle's will to fight, Mimlemel decides to join the fray.
With (Captain) by her side, she stands to face the poachers in battle.

In Deep Water: Scene 4

The crew defeats the poachers and hands them over to the Fisherman's Guild. As they prepare to depart from Auguste, Mimlemel realizes she must leave her sea turtle friend behind. But when she plays her bugle, Turtleton's skin is mysteriously hydrated, allowing him to join (Captain) and the crew on their journey.

Poacher 1: Urgh... Cursed brats...
Mimlemel: Hmph. Had it comin'.
Lyria: W-we did it...
Vyrn: Wait, there were more of 'em?
What do we do now, (Captain)?
Turtleton: I'll handle this! Hurry and hop on my back!
Vyrn: Huh? That turtle's flappin' its flippers again.
Mimlemel: Nice. I get it. It wants us to climb on so we can jump overboard.
The turtle bobs its head up and down, as though agreeing with Mimlemel's words.
Bugleena: Okie-dokie! Let's go, go, gooo!
Turtleton: Hold on tight! We're abandoning ship!
Turtleton: Haaaaah!
Lyria: Wh-whoa! Is everyone okay?
Mimlemel: All good.
Turtleton: Okay, the ship's all clear. Do it now!
Turtleton's Pals: ...!
At Turtleton's command, a countless number of fish leap at the boat in unison, breaking its mast in half.
Having lost their sail and, consequently, their means of movement, the remaining poachers scramble around the deck in confusion.
Mimlemel: That seafood's got a real kick.
Vyrn: I'm thinkin' we oughta let the Fisherman's Guild figure out what to do with 'em.
Mimlemel: Nice.
Turtleton: In that case, we'll propel their boat to shore.
Listen up, my brethren! It's time to push like you've never pushed before!
Mimlemel: Tweedle-deedle-doo!
Turtleton's Pals: ...
Turtleton and his brethren push the ship along the surface of the water in time to Mimlemel's bugle melody.
When they finally arrive back at shore, (Captain) and the crew hand the poachers over to the Fisherman's Guild.
Some time later, the day comes for the crew to depart from Auguste.
Mimlemel: Heave-ho... Heave-ho...
Phew. All set.
Lyria: Umm... Do you really plan to take the turtle along with us, Mimlemel?
Mimlemel: Sure do. Never had a ride like this before.
Mimlemel: I can get his food at the Knickknack Shack. And I've got a bucket full of ocean water. All good to go.
Vyrn: Can the turtle even fit in that tiny thing?
Whaddya think, (Captain)?
  1. Might be pretty cramped.
  2. We're going to need a bigger tank.

Choose: Might be pretty cramped.
Lyria: Yeah... That turtle's lived its whole life in the great, big sea of Auguste.
Vyrn: Don'tcha think it might be best to leave it behind? For the turtle's sake.

Choose: We're going to need a bigger tank.
Lyria: D-do you think Siero would have a tank big enough for him to swim around in?
Vyrn: Even if she did, there's no way we could fit it on the ship!
Continue 1
Mimlemel: Well...
Stumpeye: She looks crestfallen. Mim must've really taken a likin' to ya, Mr. Elder.
Pun-Kin: Is there really no way you can come along? If you need a place for your tank, you're welcome to share my storage room!
Hornby: Please consider joining us. I know you were only supposed to be with us for the summer, but we hate to see you go so soon.
Turtleton: Ohoho... It warms this old codger's heart to know you enjoyed our time together.
Turtleton: But alas, I wouldn't be able to survive for long outside the ocean.
Turtleton: Take a gander. After being on shore for so long, the tips of my flippers are drying up, and my movement is becoming more hindered.
Turtleton: The little lady's power was able to help me move freely in the water, but I'm afraid it won't be enough on land.
Bugleena: Is this really goodbye, then?
Turtleton: I'm afraid so. Though we were only together for a short time, it was a true joy. I hope you'll keep looking after the little lady from here on out.
Reluctant to leave, Turtleton takes one step toward the shore and looks up at Mimlemel.
Turtleton: Take care of yourself, little lady. I'll never forget these summer days we spent together.
Turtleton: Should our paths cross again, I'll be happy to give you another ride out to sea.
Mimlemel: You...
Mimlemel locks eyes with the turtle and nods, seeming to understand what he's trying to say.
Mimlemel: All right. I get it. I won't stop you.
Mimlemel: Taran-tara!
Turtleton: (Ahh, her tone is more refined and beautiful than ever before.)
Turtleton: (It's like the dryness has left my flippers—as though they're back on their maiden voyage, gliding through the ocean blue.)
Turtleton: Wait, I'm not just imagining it... My skin has hydrated itself somehow!
Bugleena: Wooow, you're right! It must be the power of Mim's song!
Turtleton: To think her song would be capable of such a thing... This way, I should have no trouble living on land.
Stumpeye: Heh. Guess that means she solved your worries once again.
Stumpeye: Now there's nothin' left to keep ya from yer journey. So I'll ask ya once more...
Stumpeye: Will you come along and help us protect her?
Turtleton: Of course I will. Both times I've given up, it was the little lady who opened up a new path for me.
Turtleton: My pride insists that I return the favor. I'll try to do what I can to support her from now on.
Saying this, the turtle approaches Mimlemel and leans over, prompting her to climb on his back.
Lyria: Oh? I think Mr. Turtle's going to come with us!
Vyrn: Hang on—is he gonna be okay? He looks healthy enough, but still...
Mimlemel: Think he'll be fine. Right?
Turtleton nods excitedly in response to Mimlemel's question.
Vyrn: Hmm. Well, I guess if he says it's okay, then it's okay!
Lyria: I'm not sure I understand, but you both look really happy! Don't they, (Captain)?
Mimlemel: Anchors aweigh.
Mimlemel: Tweedle-deedle-doo!
Mimlemel climbs nimbly onto the turtle's back and happily begins to play her bugle.
The melody is bright and cheerful, as if in celebration of the brand-new member added to her family.
