Rein is a non-playable character in Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising.

Story

Gran and Djeeta met this strange girl on Zinkenstill, where she pleaded her way onto the Grandcypher. She was hoping to reunite with Beelzebub, who had taken something important of hers.

Eventually her true identity is revealed to be the mother of Gran and Djeeta. Shrine-maiden to a dragon deity, Rein was sent by her god through time and space to Gran's dimension, where she is to uproot the chaos consuming the skies. The Versus Core originally belonged to her, and when Lucilius threatens the lives of her children, she sacrifices her mind to it, transforming into the god-weapon Versusia.

Trivia

• In GBVSR's story, Rein's current body is a younger version of herself physically manifested by Bahamut. She normally has a lighter hair color closer to Gran's and Djeeta's, but was given a dark hair color for her mission.
• It is implied that Rein disappeared shortly after giving birth to the Main Character. However, the exact cause for her disappearance has not been revealed.
• Rein was a member of the MC's father's crew along with Rosetta. Rosetta recognizes Rein during GBVSR's story, but does not reveal Rein's identity to the Captains.
