Alchemist Astray is a story event.

This event is part of the Alchemist series. Listed in order of premiere:

It is every alchemist's lifelong
dream to uncover the truth of the world
and take it for themselves.

One alchemist sets in motion a plan to make
that dream a reality.

He unveils the key to the
founder of alchemy's doomーa weapon
forged of philosopher's stone.

For new players

  • Complete each chapter, quest, and raid boss; each awards Crystal ×50 on first-time completion.
  • Fill the event character's loyalty bar to keep her permanently.
  • Earn trophies for additional Crystals.
  • Complete the daily mission every day when it's available.

Notable Rewards

  • Damascus Crystals are a good long-term investment given their scarcity outside of events. Obtaining all three (and the Damascus Grain) is recommended if AP/Elixir consumption is not a concern.
  • Nigredo Lance is a Light Spear that gains a Large EX ATK Up skill at level 100. This is an excellent pickup as a mainhand to enable Double Trouble III and much easier obtain than farmable alternatives (eg. Gungnir or Huanglong Spear). The damage reduction via PutrefiedHP is lowered on every turn
     is a nice bonus.
  • Albedo Blaster is a Light Gun with a Medium EX ATK Up skill (at any level). It is a good filler for developing Light grids due to the rarity of Light SRs with ATK Up and the relative difficulty of farming the basic light grid.
  • Albedo Blade is a Light Katana, which are very rare outside of Premium Draw. Despite its undesirable HP Up skill, consider keeping one for Ninja and Samurai until more advanced alternatives (eg. Huanglong Katana) can be acquired.
  • Super Cute Genius Alchemist has a weak aura but a powerful Call for new players. It is a decent filler summon until better ones are obtained.

  • Has both party heal and debuff removal which is great for new Dark players.
  • Very long skill cooldowns limit her usefulness beyond early-game.
