Scenario:Big Bad Shadow - April Fooled Ya

Caught in a Big Bad Shadow

Doppelvyrn regains the upper hand until the female crew members stir up dimensional Jin's spirit of justice, giving him the strength to weaken Doppelvyrn. With victory at hand, the characters from the other world gather up Doppelvyrn and head home, leaving the crew flabbergasted at the day's events.

Vyrn?: Ngh... Grrr... Uwaaagh!

Vyrn?: Not yet...

Vyrn?: I won't let it end here. Not! Like! This!

Vyrn howls into the sky, sending out a vicious shockwave.

It rocks the Grandcypher with tremendous force, smashing the crew violently into the deck.

Ferry?: Ngh... Is everyone okay?

(Captain) says no.

Jin?: Sorry. I'm afraid I can't move either...

Katalina?: ...

Vyrn?: Vyrn: 1. Everyone else... 0.

Ferry?: I guess this really is the end...

Jin?: Curses...

Vania: Oh no! My stew!

Yaia: My fried rice!

Two teary-eyed girls sit among scattered pots and pans.

Vania: Sob... And I worked so hard to make it tasty for Bloodkin...

Yaia: I wanted everyone to be happy...

Jin?: Hrrngggh!

Jin?: That. Is. Enough!

Vyrn?: Oho... You can still stand.

Jin?: Vyrn! You've crossed a line that must never be crossed!

Vyrn?: Is that all you wanted to say, you country bumpkin?

Jin: Or rather, the entire crew is cheering you on!

Yaia: I'll have a big bowl of fried rice waiting for you!

Goblin Mage: Go, go, go!

Yuisis: Just endure it a little longer.

Camieux: Try super, super hard!

The ladies of the crew nod and disperse with various expressions lingering on their faces.

Jin?: Over here!

Vyrn?: Urrrgh! This is unbelievable! I'm actually being pushed back!

Jin?: Heh.

Vyrn?: Gwah!

Jin?: This is it, Vyrn! One slash is all it will take! Blades of the Unseen!

Vyrn?: Aaaugh!

Jin?: Victory... is mine!

Vyrn?: No! N-not yet! I haven't lost! I—

Ferry?: Gasp! I've got it!
Katalina! Vyrn says he wants you to hug the life out of him!

Katalina?: Vyrrrn!

Vyrn?: Gulp! Siccing Katalina on me like that is just plain dirty—

Vyrn?: Gyaaah!

After being revived by Ferry's words, Katalina comes flying in, grabbing Vyrn and squeezing him with abandon.

Katalina?: If you wanted a hug that badly, then why didn't you just say so? I'll give you all the hugs you could ever want.

Vyrn?: Aaagh! Let me gooo!

Katalina?: Mmm... This is the Vyrn I know and love!

Vyrn?: I'm gonna get crushed! Darn it, I guess I've got no choice!

Vyrn?: With this form I'll surely be able to esc—

Vyrn?: Nooo!

Katalina?: Oh, yes. Now this form suits you the best, Vyrn. It's simply the cutest.

Vyrn: Hey, uh, can somebody fill me in?

Katalina: Th-there's another me? How is that possible?

Lyria: Katalina! Vyrn! You're finally awake!

Vyrn?: Help me! (Captain)! Anybody!

Vyrn?: If this keeps up, then Katalina will—

Katalina?: Vyrn! My dear, Vyrn!

Lyria: ...

Katalina: ...

Lyria and Katalina are at a loss for words. All they can do is watch the other Katalina, now lost in satisfaction, smother Vyrn.

Jin?: Good. Looks like things are back to normal.

Ferry?: Yep.

Katalina: This is... normal for you?

Ferry?: Mm-hm. Just another daily occurrence.

Vyrn: I actually feel a little sorry for that other me...

Vyrn?: It's no use... There's no escaping from her... is there?

Lyria: Oh my goodness! He's completely exhausted!

Katalina?: What's wrong? Feeling sleepy? Let's go back to my room and tuck you in.

Katalina?: That was exciting, but let's head back, shall we?

And with Vyrn pinned tightly to her body, Katalina steps into the hole.

Ferry?: We should go too.

Jin?: Mm. Although I must admit coming here was extremely gratifying.

Lyria: Wh-what was that all about?

Katalina: I have no idea...

Jin: So that was me...

Jin: If I do not reevaluate my discipline, I may end up like that.

Vyrn: What am I?

Vyrn: Can I do stuff like that if I train hard enough?

But his words are soon lost like flower petals scattering into the wind.

Whether Vyrn is able to evolve into something more is a difficult question.

A question that no one, not even Vyrn himself, knows the answer to.
