Bahamut Weapons are fabled weapons that boost stats based on a character's race instead of element. Creating Bahamut weapons requires a lot of materials, but they provide a massive boost to damage and survivability.

Bahamut Weapon Skills
Bahamut weapons initially come in three styles: 20% Attack up to one race, 20% HP up to one race, or 10% Attack and HP up to two races. Here are the races and the weapons that benefit them:
- Human: Dagger (Attack), Melee (HP)
- Draph: Axe (Attack), Katana (HP)
- Erune: Spear (Attack), Bow (HP)
- Harvin: Gun (Attack), Harp (HP)
- Human/Draph: Sabre (Mixed)
- Erune/Harvin: Staff (Mixed)
Other characters (including the main character) and Primal characters count as any race for Bahamut weapon bonuses.
Multiple Bahamut weapons cannot be equipped in the same grid. At 5★, Bahamut weapons can be placed in the additional weapon slots of Party Set Extra.
For the purposes of multipliers, Bahamut weapons count as "Normal" weapons, the same as event and Draw weapons.
When you perform the Coda upgrade, your weapon gains an additional race (dagger, axe, spear and gun) and either an additional stat to boost (single stat) or a huge boost to an existing stat (double stat), so a fully-upgraded Bahamut weapon will boost 2 races and 2 stats (except for melee, katana, bow and harp, which only boost one race but three stats)
Obtain a Rusted Weapon
The first step to creating a Bahamut weapon is obtaining a level 75 Rusted Weapon. There are three ways of getting these: commonly from the Proto Bahamut raid, uncommonly from the Angel Halo dungeon, and by trading Renown Pendants for them at the Shop. If you run Angel Halo, it's recommended to run it on Very Hard.
A rusted weapon can be uncapped by combining 4 copies, but you can also buy Steel Bricks from the Casino to fully uncap it.
Create a Bahamut Weapon
Once you have a level 75 Rusted Weapon, creating a Bahamut weapon is simple: go to the Shop > Fabled Weapons > Bahamut Weapons > Cores of the Dawning Universe: Bahamut Weapons Genesis, then look for the weapon type you wish to craft. You only need one item aside from the Rusted Weapon, 1 Horn of Bahamut. These are obtained from Proto Bahamut raids. Hosting a Proto Bahamut rewards 1
Horn of Bahamut everytime you host, in addition of first-time reward. Outside of the quest reward, they are rare drops from flip chests or a potential red box item. The crafted Bahamut weapon will remain at level 75.
Nova Upgrade
The Nova upgrade does not require anything HL, so it can be done as soon as you meet the item requirements. There is no change to the Bahamut weapon's skill with this upgrade, only an increase in base stats: You gain roughly 700-800 base Attack and 55-100 base HP depending on the weapon type after upgrading to Nova and adding the extra 25 weapon levels.
To perform the Nova upgrade, your Bahamut weapon needs to have a weapon skill of 10. Bahamut weapons require the most fodder in the game to level weapon skills, so this step is frequently left until after you have completed skilling up your first Omega weapon grid. In simple terms, a Bahamut weapon requires weapons as fodder. The sum of their skill level has to be the same as the current level of the Bahamut weapon's skill. You should thus upgrade your
fodders' skill level before upgrading the Bahamut weapon. See Raising Weapon Skills for more details.
After reaching skill level 10, single race Bahamut weapon bonuses will now be 30%, while dual race Bahamut weapon bonuses will now be 15%.
In addition to skill level 10, you will need the following materials to upgrade your Bahamut weapon to Nova form:
* Base weapon must be Lvl 75 and SLvl 10.
Coda Upgrade
The Coda upgrade requires 5 Primeval Horns from the Proto Bahamut (Impossible) raid and 3
Legendary Merits (from the Shop). For Attack weapons, this adds 15% HP and a second race. For HP weapons, Double/Triple Attack (DA/TA) rate is added. For mixed weapons, the Attack bonus is upgraded to 30%. For all weapons, the weapon gains an uncap to level 150 and skill level 15.
* Base weapon must be Lvl 100 and SLvl 10.
5★ Uncap
To uncap the weapon to level 200 and skill level 20 requires a further 30 Primeval Horns, 5
Ultima Units from the Ultimate Bahamut Impossible raid, and 10
Legendary Merits.
Upon its final uncap the Bahamut Weapon can be equipped to the Additional Weapon slots of Party Set Extra.
Leveling the weapon to LV200 unlocks its final skill, which gives additional effects to all allies based on the number of matching type allies in the party, including sub allies.

Trivia
As of 2021-12-03 only one Bahamut Weapon can be equipped in a grid. This change arrived with Rage of Super Ultimate Bahamut and the 5★ uncap. Previously Bahamut Weapons were unrestricted and multiple of them could be equipped. If multiples of the same weapon existed their skills did not stack, only the highest level skill would take effect.
