Weapons can be equipped either as a main weapon or as sub weapons in what is called the weapon grid. The weapon grid provides the Main Character and all party members increased ATK and HP.
Weapon Grid
Weapons can be equipped as your main weapon or as sub weapons, and both have an effect on your stats.
Sub Weapons
Any weapon can be equipped as a Sub Weapon, regardless of chosen class.
Main Weapon
The Main Character's weapon used when attacking. Whether or not you can equip a weapon as your main is dependent on the Main Character's class. The currently equipped main weapon also determines the Main Character's element and usable charge attack.
Additional Weapons

Additional weapon slots can be utilized to equip over ten weapons. It is unlocked after all Extreme quests are cleared in Arcarum: The World Beyond and can only be used in Replicard Sandbox and certain raids.
Only weapons from the following series can be equipped as additional weapons:
- New World Foundation Weapons
- Militis Weapons
- Sephira Weapons
- World Weapons
- Draconic Weapons Provenance
- Bahamut Weapons (5★ uncaps only)
- Ultima Weapons (5★ uncaps only)
Weapon Skins
The main weapon's appearance can change by selecting a weapon skin. Any previously aquired weapon (i.e. weapons with journal entries) of the same weapon type can be used as a weapon skin.
The skin selected will be visible on the main weapon's thumbnail on the Party screen. In addition, the appearance of the weapon held by the main character's sprite in quests, raid battles, co-op rooms, and on the Crew screen will all be changed.
The main weapon's skin can be changed by tapping the Skin button on the main weapon's thumbnail on the Party screen or by tapping the Equip a Skin button on the main weapon's details screen.
Auxiliary Weapon
Auxiliary weaponsA class specialty weapon of the same element as the main weapon, equipped in the top-left slot of the sub weapon section are a mechanic unique to classes where the top-left slot of the sub weapon section gains a different border than usual and defines how related passive and active skills will behave. An auxiliary weapon must match the weapon specialty of the current class as well as the main weapon's element to qualify as an auxiliary weapon.
Auxiliary weapons are displayed in battle along with the mainhand, but do not qualify as a mainhand for weapon skill requirements.
Since they are not equipped in the main weapon slot, Class Champion Weapons of other classes can be used as an auxiliary weapon.
Auxiliary Weapon Affected Skills

- Decimate5-hit, 100% superior elemental damage to a foe (Damage cap: ~81,000 per hit).
- Chrysaor
- Cross GuardAll allies gain 40% DMG CutTaking 40% less DMG
Duration: 1 turn Damage Cut reducing damage taken for all elements.
