Dark Opus Weapons

Dark Opus Weapons are weapons obtainable by trading materials obtained from Lucilius (Raid) in the Shop. They are divided into two sets, the Renunciation set that have weapon skills boosted by the Omega Series summons, and the Repudiation set that is boosted by the Optimus series summons.

All Dark Opus Weapons are obtained at 3★, and can be uncapped up to 6★.

Dark Opus and Draconic Weapons share a mutual and special exclusivity; you may only equip one weapon from either series in a grid.

Obtaining Dark Opus Weapons

You can obtain Dark Opus Weapons from the Treasure Trade (Weapons > High Difficulty) section of the Shop, in exchange for 500 respective Elemental QuartzElemental Quartz:, 255 respective Weapon StonesWeapon Stone:, and Shadow Substance ×5. Shadow Substances are obtained either as direct drops from Dark Rapture raids, or by trading Dark Residue ×5 through Treasure Trade (Treasure > Dark Rapture).

Uncapping Dark Opus Weapons

To unlock the second and third weapon skills, Dark Opus Weapons need to be upgraded to Level 120 and 200 respectively.

Each target level requires one uncap to reach, with the second uncap requiring Elemental Tidings, obtainable only from Trophies of clearing Dark Rapture (Hard) with the matching party element or, alternatively, trading a Cloud Commendation in the Pride of the Ascendant shop.
  • For example, to obtain Tidings of Heavenly Light, the player must clear Dark Rapture (Hard) with a party consisting of only Light element characters. A second one can be obtained by clearing under the same conditions a fifth time.
  • Characters that change element depending on the Main Character's element do not count towards Dark Rapture trophies (e.g. Lyria, Young Cat).

Note that Dark Opus Weapons uncaps cannot be skipped with Damascus Ingot or Gold Brick.

4★ Uncap Materials

Dark Opus Weapons can also be uncapped from 3★ to 4★ with Apocalyptic Votum ×1 which is obtained by trading Valor Badge ×100 in the Valor Badge Shop of Dread Barrage event. The trade also comes with all types of Pendulums for Level 120 Dark Opus extra skill.

One Ode to Evolution from the event Created by the Stars, Loved by the Skies can also be traded for a Dark Opus Uncap Set (which contains an Apocalyptic Votum).

5★ Uncap Materials

Dark Opus Weapons can also be uncapped from 4★ to 5★ with Apocalyptic Spiritus ×1 which is obtained by trading Valor Badge ×550 in the Valor Badge Shop. The trade also comes with one of each Pendulums to unlock the Dark Opus third skill.

One Ode to Evolution from the event Created by the Stars, Loved by the Skies can also be traded for a Dark Opus Uncap Set (which contains an Apocalyptic Spiritus) or Dark Opus Upgrade Set.

Dark Opus Transcendence

Dark Opus weapons can be transcended and uncapped to 6★. Unlike normal uncaps, transcendence is performed in 5 discrete stages, with each stage increasing maximum level by 10.

Stage 1

In order to begin transcending a Dark Opus weapon to Stage 1, the weapon must have reached lvl 200.

Once those conditions are met, the following materials are required:

to all allies upon using its charge attack, upgrades 2nd skill Guiding Revelation, and allows the use of the following pendulums on its 3rd skill Guiding Gospel: Pendulum of Extremity, Pendulum of Sagacity, and Pendulum of Supremacy.

Stage 2

In order to begin transcending a Dark Opus weapon to Stage 2, the weapon must have reached lvl 210.

Once those conditions are met, the following materials are required:

Transcending a Dark Opus weapon to Stage 2 increases its maximum level to 220 and upgrades its 1st skill.

Stage 3

In order to begin transcending a Dark Opus weapon to Stage 3, the weapon must have reached lvl 220.

Once those conditions are met, the following materials are required:

Transcending a Dark Opus weapon to Stage 3 increases its maximum level to 230 and upgrades its 1st skill from Majesty to Apotheosis.

Stage 4

In order to begin transcending a Dark Opus weapon to Stage 4, the weapon must have reached lvl 230.

Once those conditions are met, the following materials are required:

Transcending a Dark Opus weapon to Stage 4 increases its maximum level to 240 and upgrades its 2nd skill Guiding Revelation.

Stage 5

In order to begin transcending a Dark Opus weapon to Stage 5, the weapon must have reached lvl 240.

Once those conditions are met, the following materials are required:

Transcending a Dark Opus weapon to Stage 5 increases its maximum level to 250, increases its maximum weapon skill level to 25, and upgrades its C.A. multiplier from Massive to Unworldly.

Trade Pendulums and Chains

Pendulums can be found and traded for with materials under Shop > Treasure Trade > Power Ups > Skill Items > Pendulums. Chains be traded for under Shop > Treasure Trade > Power Ups > Skill Items > Chains.

Pendulums and Chains

  • Pendulums modify either second or third skill of a Dark Opus weapon. Chains modify the third. In addition, Pendulums and Chains also add an effect to the Dark Opus weapon's charge attack.
  • There is no default second and third skill. A Pendulum or Chain must first be used to unlock an effect.
  • These skills can be changed at any time by using another Pendulum or Chain. The previous item's effect will be overwritten.

Guiding Revelation

  • This skill is learned at lvl 120.
  • This skill is upgraded at Stage 1 and Stage 4 Transcendence.
  • It is not affected by Skill lvl and summon aura.
  • Its effect does not stack with an Ultima Weapon's Soulless Passage skill or an Astral Weapon's 2nd skill if both of them affect the same cap.
  • Its effect can be changed by the following Pendulums:

Guiding Gospel

  • This skill is learned at lvl 200.
  • It is affected by Skill lvl and summon aura, at least for options that add an applicable skill.
    • Elemental icon skills will be the same category (Omega or Normal) as the weapon's first skill.
  • Skills that do not specify affecting characters of a specific element will affect characters of any element.
  • Its effect can be changed by the following Pendulums and Chains:
