Class Champion Weapons are one of the Fabled Weapons Series. The process to obtain them begins with Replica Weapons found in the Extra Stages of the Co-op Quests, or tradable from the Shop. The upgrading process requires a large amount of materials and completing the Element Change step grants access to Search for an Heir, the class quests required to unlock the Row IV classes.

NOTE: Changing the Element of any Class Champion weapon grants access to all Row IV class quests. You do not need to craft the weapon that corresponds to the Row IV class you want to unlock.

Changing the Element of the Class Champion weapon of an Extra Class also grants access to the corresponding class quest, required to unlock the Extra II Classes.

NOTE: Unlike Row IV Classes, Extra II Classes each have a specific class quest that requires changing the Element of the matching Class Champion weapon. That means you do need to craft the weapon that corresponds to the Extra II class you want to unlock.

First-time weapon stone discount[edit]

Weapon Stone requirements are discounted the first time you forge each Class Champion Weapon.

For example, this means that after forging a Nirvana Nyx square.jpg Nirvana Nyx, an Oliver Incendo square.jpg Oliver Incendo can still be forged at a discount. However, any other Nirvana weapon cannot be forged at a discount.

Players who have already forged a Class Champion Weapon before September 22, 2017 can still get this discount when forging the next Class Champion Weapon.

Obtain a Replica Weapon[edit]

First, you need a replica weapon. These are Rarity SR.png rare drops from Extra coop quests - each quest can drop different replica weapons. They can also be purchased from the Fabled Weapons shop under Class Champion Weapons > Redeem Replica Items. Refer to the Class Champion Weapon list for class associations and special effects.

The weapon you choose to craft does not dictate which class you must use to complete the class quest for the first time.

In order to upgrade your replica weapon, it needs to be level 75. The most common strategy is to obtain one weapon via drops or the shop, then buy Steel Bricks from the casino to fully uncap it. It should be fairly painless to obtain the bricks, so there is no reason to spend supplies to buy additional replicas from the shop.

Note that, while the SSR weapons that drop from the stages 6-1 and 6-2 mean you can theoretically skip the first step, they come at 0★. As such, a total of 4 copies of the same weapon are required in order to make a 3★ uncapped one before progressing any further. The low drop rate and the large variety of weapons available makes farming for one in particular is tedious, and likely longer than starting from the Replica step. Using Damascus Ingot or Gold Brick for that purpose is highly inadvisable.

Forge the Class Champion Weapon[edit]

After your replica is level 75, navigate to the Fabled Weapons shop, Class Champion Weapons section. The first step is to reforge the replica into a [Skybound] Rarity SSR.png class champion weapon. This requires the following materials, based on the replica weapon's element:

Rebuild the Class Champion Weapon[edit]

After forging the class champion weapon, you first must level it to 100. Then, you need the following items to rebuild it, corresponding to the current weapon's type and element:

Change the Class Champion Weapon's Element[edit]

Changing the element is the last step needed to unlock the class quest. You will need the following materials in the desired element to change the element:

Class Quest[edit]

Changing the Element of any Class Champion weapon unlocks the Search for an Heir quest.
Completing this quest with a class in the same line as the desired Row IV class (for example, Enhancer, Arcana Dueler or Dark Fencer if you want to unlock Chaos Ruler) will award the appropriate "Superior" trophy required to unlock the class.

You will face an enemy with your main character alone which is of the element superior to yours (or same element for light and dark) using different charge attacks based on the abilities of the chosen class.
No elixirs can be used.

Total Materials Needed to Unlock Row IV Classes[edit]

Here are the total numbers of items you need to unlock Row IV classes. It does not include the materials needed to forge the Class Champion weapon to 5★.

This Google Spreadsheet can be used to track your total materials and overall completion percentage. It is protected, so make a copy of it (File > Make a copy...) on your own Google account to maintain your own updates.

NOTE: Stop here if you only want to unlock Row IV classes or an Extra II class. Progressing further requires Player Rank 120 and makes the weapon usable as main weapon exclusively by the matching Row IV or Extra II class.

Uncap the Class Champion Weapon to 5★[edit]

Uncapping the weapon to 5★ is not required to unlock Row IV classes. This step enhances the weapon further and allows you to customize one of its weapon skills with Emblems.

Row IV classes and Extra II classes have 5★ weapons. Unlike the previous forms, they can only be used by Row IV or Extra II classes. 5★ upgrades for other Extra class weapons will be added in the future.

In addition to the following items, the weapon must be level 150 in order to 5★ uncap it.

Emblems are consumable items which unlock the 2nd weapon skill of a 5★ Class Champion weapon. The 2nd weapon skill can be changed at any time by using another Emblem, but the overwritten weapon skill is not refunded.
