Search for an Heir

Search for an Heir is a free quest in Zinkenstill, unlocked by changing the element of any Class Champion Weapon and clearing Chapter 44 Story: On One's Honor.

It awards trophies for the following Row IV Classes: Berserker, Spartan, Sage, Warlock, Bandit Tycoon, Chaos Ruler, Luchador, Nighthound, Elysian, Apsaras, and Chrysaor.

Battles

All versions of Search for an Heir are solo battles with the Main Character as your only party member. The class line you choose determines which version of the battle you face, as well as the trophy unlocked by clearing it.

The Old Woman will always have elemental advantage over you if you use a Fire, Water, Earth, or Wind grid; with Light or Dark, she will match your element.

The Old Woman gains two powerful buffs over the course of the battle: 70% DMG CutTaking 70% less DMG Duration: 180 secondsDamage Cut reducing damage taken for all elements. Warning! Does not work for Plain Damage! at 50%, and RepelTaking less DMG and reflects attacks Damage Cut reducing damage taken and reflecting attacks. Warning! Does not work for Plain Damage! at 25%. Both can be dispelled, but if you only have one source of Dispel, then reserve it for Repel and wait 3 minutes for the DMG Cut to disappear on its own. Stage strategy
The Old Woman has no triggers and uses a random Special Attack every time, so it's best to be prepared for ShieldNext ATK received will be ineffective for a fixed amount and Holy SpikeHP is lowered on every turn . Recommended setup: Dark Cleric with  DispelRemoves 1 buff from a foe. as a sub skill. Because the Old Woman will always match a Light or Dark MC's element,  Blessing200%-300% Light damage to all foes. will then have elemental advantage over her.  Advocatus Diabolic Drive Massive Dark damage to a foe. All allies gain Supplemental DMGDMG dealt is supplemented Strength: 5% of foe's max HP (Damage cap: 30,000)Duration: 3.5 turnsApplied during the attack phase. The Old Woman is vulnerable to all of Dark Fencer's debuffs. The sub skill pick is relatively free;  Rain of Arrows III300% elemental damage to all foes. At 15%, Spirit of Training effect will K.O. just about any player. Try to defeat her in one shot, or reserve Counter until you hit that trigger. If you're confident in your grid, you can try bursting her down with Ogre. Otherwise, run Kung Fu Artist so you can heal yourself with  Chi ChannelerRestore caster's HP (Healing cap: 1500). Use Sidewinder and bring a damaging subskill. Because the Old Woman is immune to most debuffs but doesn't inflict too much damage, defeating her quickly is the most effective route. Her Dodge AllTakes no DMG or debuffs while in effect Duration: 15 seconds at 50% lasts a mere 15 seconds; just wait it out.

Stage strategy
This is one of the trickiest versions of Search for an Heir. The typical strategy is running a Light Bard with a support 4-5★ Lucifer summon, and getting lucky with CharmedAttacks are slightly limited to skip the Old Woman's turns and charge attacks. Damage taken can be healed back with  Bard SongHarp: All allies gain RefreshHP is restored on every turn Strength: 5% maximum HP (Healing cap: 300 HP). Others: All allies gain RefreshHP is restored on every turn Strength: 3% maximum HP (Healing cap: 150 HP).,  Chi ChannelerRestore caster's HP (Healing cap: 1500).
