Class Champion Weapons (CCW) are a series of weapons that can only be equipped as a main weapon by their respective class lines. They are forged through via the Shop's Weapon Series's Class Champion Weapons screen. Forging these weapons is required to unlock Row IV and Extra II's classes normally, although some classes have been distributed during certain events.
There are two main types of Class Champion Weapons, weapons crafted from Replica Weapons and weapons crafted from Rusted Weapons. Both can be obtained from the shop, while Replica Weapons can also be obtained from Co-op Extra Stages and Rusted Weapons can be obtained from Angel Halo or the Proto Bahamut raid.
- Forging a Replica-based Class Champion Weapon to its element-changed stage unlocks the pre-requisite quest for the entire Row IV.
- The final 5★ uncap is not necessary to unlock a class.
- The first timePlayers who have already forged a Class Champion Weapon before 2017-09-22 when the discount was implemented will get this discount when forging their next copy. you forge a weapon of a particular class you receive a discount on the Weapon Stones required for each stage.
It is heavily recommended to forge your first Class Champion Weapon from one of the EX II classes to unlock both Row IV and that class at the same time.

Forging from a Replica Weapon
Obtaining a Replica Weapon
Replica Weapons can be obtained from:
- Co-op Extra Stages as rare drops
- Rose Queen (Raid)
- the Shop
- the shop for 500 Renown Pendants each (limit 4 a month per weapon)
In order to upgrade your replica weapon, it needs to be level 75. Spare Steel Bricks can be used to uncap Replicas.
- While SSR Class Champion Weapons drop from EX 6-1 and 6-2, the drops come at 0★, requiring four to make a 3★ one before progressing any further. It will take an exceptional amount of grinding to obtain all all 4 drops - it is easier in almost all cases to just acquire the SR Replicas and build from scratch.

Reforging the Replica
After your replica is level 75, navigate to the Class Champion Weapons Shop to reforge the replica into a

Class Quest
Changing the element of any Class Champion Weapon (including Extra II CCWs) unlocks the quest Search for an Heir, which unlocks Replica-based Row IV classes.
Completing this quest with a class in the same line as the desired Row IV class (for example, Enhancer, Arcana Dueler or Dark Fencer for Chaos Ruler) will award the respective "Superior" trophy required to unlock the class.
The Main Character will duel against an opponent of the element superior to yours (or same element for Light and Dark), whose abilities change based on the abilities of the chosen class. No elixirs can be used in this quest.
Each Extra II class has its own class quest, unlocked by changing the element of their respective Class Champion Weapon.

5★ Uncap
Uncapping the weapon to 5★ is not required to unlock classes. However, this step enhances the weapon further and allows you to customize one of its weapon skills with Emblems. Unlike the previous forms, a 5★ CCW can only be used by its respective Row IV or Extra II class.
In addition to the following items, the weapon must be Level 150 in order to 5★ uncap it. You will also need Player Rank 120+ to unlock the Pandemonium Extra Stages that drop some of the items needed.

Emblems
Emblems are consumable items which unlock the second weapon skill of a 5★ Class Champion Weapon. The second weapon skill can be changed at any time by using another Emblem, but the overwritten weapon skill will not be refunded.

Forging from a Rusted Weapon
Newer Row IV classes do not use Replicas as the base for their Class Champion Weapons, and instead start from Rusted Weapons. Forging these weapons count towards unlocking Search for an Heir, but is not needed to unlock their respective classes. These classes have each unique unlock quests.
These weapons are directly upgraded from Rusted Weapon, to Relic, to 5★ Class Champion Weapon. All abilities are built into the weapon and do not require extra items such as Emblems to unlock new optional effects.
