Created by the Stars, Loved by the Skies - The Astral Artifacts - Chapter 3: Heart of Sorrow - Episode 3

As days and days pass, Cosmos begins to question the rightness of her arbitration. Meanwhile, primal beast hunts are on the rise, due to skyfarers desiring materials for stronger weapons. Primal beasts will continue to suffer, since they're hard for skydwellers to actually kill. When asked by Lucifer if this situation warrants arbitration, Cosmos is unable to answer him.

Cosmos: Was that for the best, I wonder?
Lucifer: In regards to Luminiera and Albion, you mean? What troubles you?
Cosmos: I believe altering the pact arrangement was the correct move.
Cosmos: The new pact encompasses skydwellers, primals, as well as the land.
Cosmos: But that one citizen of Albion spoke of Luminiera's heart.
Cosmos: If Luminiera truly possesses a heart in the figurative sense, then is the current pact what she truly wishes for?
Cosmos: Perhaps she would have preferred direct contact with each pactbearer, how ever short their time together may be.
Cosmos appears distracted, staring off into the distance.
Cosmos: No, there is no point in discussing this further.
Lucifer: I wouldn't say that.
Cosmos: Why not?
Lucifer: Ordinarily, primal beasts are immutable, except that doesn't seem to be the case within the Sky Realm.
Lucifer: Cosmos, you've already seen that for yourself.
Lucifer: You witnessed it with Tiamat, when her power increased after forming a pact with Port Breeze.
Lucifer: (Not to mention a number of primal beasts switched to the sky's side toward the end of the War.)
Lucifer: In time, a change may take place in Luminiera as well.
Lucifer: It's possible her power may adapt into something more compatible with skydwellers and the Sky Realm.
Lucifer: Yet change is not a one-sided affair; the skydwellers are changing too.
Lucifer: There will come a day...
Lucifer: When a suitable person capable of merging with Luminiera's power is born.
Cocytus: Grooooar!
Skyfarer 3: That's it! Keep up the assault, but try not to hit its core!
Skyfarer 4: I know, I know! Our goal is to harvest its materials without damaging the core!
Skyfarer 3: We've spent a ton of time and money on this dangerous job.
Skyfarer 3: Gonna need a big haul to recoup our expenses.
Cocytus: Gyaar!
Skyfarer 3: Now! Pin it down!
Cocytus: Gyaaaah!
Skyfarer 3: Yee-haw! Come to papa!
Lucifer: ...
Cosmos: I cannot stand to watch this...
Lucifer: These primal beast hunts are becoming more frequent by the day.
Cosmos: All because weapon makers are using pieces from the primals in the manufacture of their arms...
Lucifer: Many dangers threaten skyfarers as they fly through the sky in their airships.
Lucifer: It's not surprising they are enamored with weapons harboring the power of primals.
Cosmos: One could argue this is survival of the fittest, or simply the law of nature.
Ifrit: Grooooar!
Diablo: Burn this in your mind... No one can escape their demise...
Vohu Manah: Aaaah!
Cosmos: Skydwellers cannot easily destroy the cores that make primals immortal.
Cosmos: The primals' suffering will not end.
Cosmos: Their screams will not quiet.
Lucifer: Do you think this situation calls for arbitration?
Cosmos: I... do not know...
