Handsome Gorilla - Chapter 5: Thank You All - Episode 2

The opening chime sounds and a clamor fills the event hall. But because romantic storybooks are still a niche genre, few visitors come by Lunalu's corner. She mans the booth while the others have a look around the fair. An old man with a strong distaste for illustrated storybooks is also making the rounds.

The chime signaling the opening of the Sphiria Book Fair sounds loud and clear.
Some make a mad dash to the most popular artists, some are more easygoing and prefer to take in the whole atmosphere, and then there are those already lugging around piles of storybooks.
A lively clamor soon fills the event hall.
Melissabelle: Wow. The area in front might as well be a festival.
Mahira: Look at all those lines forming. Judging from the pamphlet, they're here for works by the more popular artists.
Milleore: Hm, doesn't seem very fair. We're too far in the corner for anyone to notice us.
Sahli Lao: Genre might play a role too. Romantic storybooks are still kind of niche.
Lunalu: True, you can't find them in the average bookstore. And it's only recently that they've been given a place in book fairs.
Lunalu: I guess we can't expect much business today. Then again, our goal was securing a spot at the fair... I'd be so happy if we could sell even one copy.
Sierokarte: Only one? Wouldn't that be a bit of a shame?
Sierokarte: Hm, what do you think of putting up your monster drawings and using your fame in that industry to garner interest in your romance work?
Lunalu: I... did think of that...
Lunalu: But it almost seems like cheating. Besides, if my fans start to expect the same quality they see in my monster drawings, it'll become that much harder for me.
Lunalu: Ah, feel free to take a look around the fair, guys. I can handle any potential customers myself.
Melissabelle: You sure? Okay, I'll leave it to you then. Guess I'll check out what the commotion over there is.
Mahira: I'm interested too. I want to see how other groups manage their lines and decorate their tables.
Milleore: Why don't we take a break first? There were some food stalls out in the main hall. I'll go get us some drinks.
Sahli Lao: And I'll come along to get us food!
Sierokarte: There are some fellow merchants here I'd like to say hello to.
Lunalu: Have fun. Let me know if you find any cool Popol merchandise.
Elder: Humph... Gosh is it noisy in here. These fairgoers have no manners.
Elder: Judging from the look of things, storybooks are nothing more than a travesty.
Elder: Ugh, how deplorable!
