What Makes the Sky Blue - Chapter 4: Stars - Episode 4

When a horde of lesser archangels renew their attack on Auguste, Farrah rouses an idle imperial garrison into action. Meanwhile the mysterious man appears before Michael and Gabriel.

Virtue Core: ...!
Agent 1: Gwaaah! Damn it! I don't wanna die!
???: Haaa!
Virtue Core: ...
Agent 1: Juri! Thanks for saving me!
Juri: I'll hold them back! Go help the civilians and the injured evacuate!
Agent 1: Yeah, got it. But don't go overboard yourself! There are too many of 'em!
Juri: Phew... Don't get impatient. Keep formation. Stay cool and assess the situation.
Juri: Since Eugen's not here, I have to calmly take command!
Juri: We can win this! I won't give up until we do!
Dominion Core: ...
Juri: ...!
Meanwhile (Captain) and the others chase after Lyria and end up back in town.
It has become a battlefield. Screams of terror mix with the sounds of archangel attacks.
Vyrn: Lyriaaa! Where are you?
Vyrn: Argh, I hate those dumb huge halos! We'll never be able to find her at this rate...
Farrah: What are you saying? Don't be stupid!
Imperial Soldier: B-but!
Vyrn: Huh? Hey, it's Farrah and Siero!
Sierokarte: (Captain)! Vyrn!
Farrah: (Captain)! Listen! The imperial army won't join the defenses!
Imperial Soldier: We've got no choice! Orders from the top haven't been issued yet. We just sent a messenger ship back to HQ.
Farrah: We can't wait that long! Juri's desperately fighting all by himself!
Imperial Soldier: Juri the deserter? He's here? And you're another deserter—
Vyrn: Humph! And we're a wanted crew too! But right now we need to work together!
Imperial Soldier: Yeah, but... We don't have the authority, damn it.
Farrah: Do you really need permission to protect someone?
Imperial Soldier: How could someone like you who quit the military understand such an admirable concept?
Farrah: It's true I left, but I'm sure of one thing. The day I do nothing is the day I stop being a skydweller!
Farrah: Oh, forget this!
Vyrn: Wait, Farrah!
So what's it gonna be, Empire Man?
Imperial Soldier: The permission to protect someone and the essence of a skydweller...
With the town in disarray, Michael and Gabriel rush toward an inescapable omen.
Michael: Tch, we made a mistake. To think he'd be converging here.
Gabriel: No, he's already surpassed our level of detection and eclipsed the primarchs.
Michael: Conceal yourself. Not even the supreme primarch stands a chance if he gets your wings. That would be the end of the world.
Gabriel: Thank you. I wish I could do that, but it looks like we're a little too late.
???: Good day to you. Shall we go for a cup of coffee?
Michael: ...!
Gabriel: Sorry, but I'll pass. You're not my kind of man.
???: And what about the one who hasn't shown himself yet? Has he no honor?
Michael: Wretch... You dare act like a god and ordain judgment?
???: He's not fit to govern the skies nor the Astral world.
Gabriel: Why not show us your true form already? I have a rough idea from when you were confined in the lab—
???: Confined? Personally I'd call it straight-out imprisonment.
???: I'm glad we had this chat. I'll do my best to end it quickly.
Michael: Get down, Gabriel! I'll decide it with one strike!
