While Rosetta and Yggdrasil investigate a mysterious voice coming from Astral ruins on Lumacie, Lyria hardens her resolve as she senses the approach of a terrifying primal beast.

As the invasion continues on Auguste, something stirs deep within the sacred grounds of Lumacie.

Rosetta: I knew there was a trick to it.

Yggdrasil: ...?

Rosetta: This disc is an Astral relic just as I thought.

Rosetta: No one else would've noticed it. This used to be some sort of recording device.

Rosetta: Perhaps it's being affected by the abnormality in the elements. If it weren't for this strange glow, even an Astral would step on it and break it.

Rosetta's investigation uncovers a relic that has gone unnoticed for many centuries.

Rosetta deciphers it and explains its significance to Yggdrasil as she thinks aloud.

Rosetta: The contents are fragmented, but it concerns the very first primal beasts.

Rosetta: None of their descendants had a clue. It was probably a conscious decision to create a buried history.

Rosetta: The Astrals were humiliated when their own creations rebelled against them.

Yggdrasil: ...?

Rosetta: Hehe, origin beasts? I like the sound of that. Now back to the rebellion...

Rosetta: The origin beasts came to the conclusion that they were the superior beings and tried to change the hierarchy.

Rosetta: But in the end the rebellion failed, and the origin beasts were imprisoned in a cage.

Rosetta: It seems some of them who hadn't taken part in the rebellion still exist somewhere, governing the skies...

Yggdrasil: ...

Rosetta: How does it connect to the cataclysms? Well, some of them were called archangels, and they had a deep relationship with the elements that keep the islands afloat.

Rosetta: I'd love to explain in greater detail, but I'll have to read more of the disc.

Meanwhile in Auguste Lyria calmly calls out to panicking townspeople amid the turmoil.

Lyria: Please, everyone, let's all just calm down! Town officials are guiding the evacuation—

Fleeing Man: Did you hear the news? The evac point over there just got hammered!

Fleeing Woman: This ship is full! Where should we go now?

Child: Waaah! Mama! Mamaaa!

Lyria: It's going to be fine, everyone! Calm down and form... a group...

Lyria: ...
