Background

Seofon is the leader of the Eternals, the strongest crew in the skies. He co-founded the crew with Anre and personally recruited several of the crew's members. His own past is shrouded in mystery, and the carefree, flighty front he puts up loses him respect with his own crew.

Nevertheless, he is more attentive and well-meaning than he is sometimes willing to admit. He has a vested interest in helping Seox overcome his past,[4] and personally assists Feower and Tien in protecting Stardust Town from the mafia. When asked to provide Ayer some guidance, he quickly sees that the younger fighter is afraid to show his true self,[5] and later helps Ayer accept himself.[6]

1 ✔

Happy New Year! Got any resolutions lined up, (Captain)?
Mine is to collect a spirit sword every day... Hahaha! Kidding, kidding!

2 ✔

Happy New Year!
It's already been a year, has it? How time flies... Care to go watch some fireworks? Or just continue lazing about?
We fought a lot of strong foes this past year. And you never once gave up. No matter what happened, your blade remained true.
Honestly I'm not sure what to say. You've exceeded my every expectation.
Which is why I want you to keep exercising your power for the sake of the world as you always have.
I'll be always by your side. Heheh... As the greatest swordsman in the skies of course. How could you ask for more?
Hm? Do I detect a hint of embarrassment? It's fine! Just for today... let me be Serious Seofon.

3 ✔

Happy New Year! Are you ready to start a new chapter in life?
Last year we really fought tooth and nail against some tough opponents.
The way you cared for hurt comrades and cheered everyone on... You shined like the tip of a brand new blade.
You really excel at leading everyone. You have my word which means a lot since I'm the leader of the Eternals.
I want you to hold onto those qualities. Your compassion and swift decisions are what make you so great.
I'm just trying to say that I'm depending on you, (Captain). Let's give it our all this year too.
Hahaha... This year I went all out for the cool-guy vibe. Sometimes a change is nice, right?

4 ✔

New Year's fortunes, eh? Drawing your own fortune itself is a real thrill.
I don't need to draw one though. Having you by my side is all the good fortune I need, am I right?
But yeah, I really feel lucky to be able to spend another with you. From the bottom of my heart.
I mean, all kinds of crazy stuff's happened this last year. It's like, man, how bad is my luck?
The path ahead may be rough and abounding in obstacles...
But I know that together, we can overcome them all again this year!
Huh? Just draw already? Oh, (Captain)... read the mood, won'tcha?
Anyways, here goes!
Oof! B-bad luck...
It looks like having you next to me didn't work, so I'm gonna pull again!
Don't make childish excuses? Ahahaha! If it's come down to this, I'm gonna keep drawing 'til I get great luck!

5 ✔

Happy New Year!
Seems like you accomplished a lot this past year too! It's just as the rumors say about you!
I'm the captain of a crew myself so I can relate to a certain extent, but being famous can be pretty tough, wouldn't you say?
People try and take advantage of the crew, and the more power you possess, the more influence you have on others. Everything you do, you need to do with a sense of responsibility.
But I hope you'll always be humble and never forget what you had originally set out to do.
You'll be fine. If you ever need anything, just say the word and I'll come running, no matter where in the skies you are.
Ooh, I sounded pretty smooth there, didn't I?
Behold the true power of Seofon, Star Sword Sovereign and leader of the Eternals!
Heh... Don't go falling for me there.
Just kidding... Huh? Wait, what's with that face, (Captain)?

Valentine's Day Cutscenes

1 ✔

Today's Valentine's Day, yes?
Get any chocolates, (Captain)? Me? I've already received about three thousand...
Huh? No, that's not a joke. Hahaha!

2 ✔

That joke I made last year about receiving three thousand chocolates didn't seem to go over very well with you. How to fix this, I wonder...
What's that? How many chocolates did I get this year? Well. About that...
Ten thousand! (Well? There's no way that joke's getting misinterpreted!)
As you might expect, I hardly need any more.
But my dearest (Captain) deserves something special. So... here!
I already gave those chocolates away to those who helped in my search for swords, so consider this a token of my everyday thanks!
Here you go. Hahaha! You're just trying to see how I react today, aren't you, (Captain)?

3 ✔

How much chocolate did I get today? Oh, soooo much! I've got an endless supply.
That's what happens when you're popular. I'm packing so much chocolate the ship might start sinking. Hahaha!
Hm? (Captain)? Are you crying? What's wrong?
Oh... I see... You're just really into me. Being handsome is both a gift and a talent. Hahaha.
Sooo... are you going to stop crying any time soon, (Captain)? Pick your head up, come on.
Wait... It's not an act?
Hey! You know what! About all that chocolate... The thing is, Threo and Fif ate most of it anyways, so I'm starving.
Of course I'll take your chocolate. Hahaha... (So it was a trick! (Captain)'s crocodile tears are amazing!)
Thank you, (Captain). Next time you can save the water works, okay? (Sheesh... Gave me a heart attack!)

4 ✔

How many chocolates did I get this year? Let's see... I guess I should give you a serious answer this time.
Zero, zilch, nada! Shocked? ('Cause I've been going out of my way not to run into anyone!)
What—don't believe me? No, it's true! Really!
You see... I thought if you were giving out chocolate today, I'd want yours to be my first, you know?
Not to say that yours wouldn't be less special if it wasn't my first, though!
Wait, this actually makes it harder for you to give me some? Damn! Looks like my plan totally backfired, huh?
Oh? But you're giving me some anyways! Ahaha... You're really kind, (Captain).
Thanks again, (Captain). I'll be sure to savor this.
(Hold on... (Captain) didn't believe me at first. Could it be... that people think I'm a popular guy who gets loads of chocolates?)

5 ✔

How much chocolate did I receive from everyone this year, you ask? Well, let's see...
So much that it's as countless as the stars in the sky! More than the population of all the skies, even! Ahaha!
You're getting tired of this and want to hear something else? I know you didn't exactly ask for it, but I'm not here for your entertainment either, you know!
Oh! You really want to know how I feel about you that much?
Guess you leave me no choice. Well, you see... To be honest... I...
Hey, wait! I'm sorry! Don't go! Come on, why don't you stop teasing me like that and just give it to me? Please!
Since I'm so desparate you'll give it to me? Ahaha... How very kind of you...
Thank you, (Captain). I'm happy I can receive something from you again this year!

Trick or Treat Cutscenes

1 ✔

Trick or treat!
I gave Fif some candy earlier, and she still played a prank on me...

2 ✔

Us Eternals want to have a costume party too, but I wonder if everyone would come...
Ah! That's right. I should just get Siero to help!
Hm? Why the long face? Oh, you want some candy too, eh, (Captain)?
No problem! Come on over!
Huh? You don't want any? You tell me not to treat you like a kid, (Captain), but aren't you one?
And now you wanna play a trick... Did I ever have a choice in the first place? And playing tricks is a little childish, no?
Ha ha ha... You're not taking no for an answer today. Well I don't mind. So come at me with your best trick!
Uh... Why do I need to close my eyes? I dunno... This sounds a little scary. Just promise me it won't hurt!

3 ✔

It's finally Halloween. (Captain), you're going to pull another prank on me, aren't you?
Huh? Pranks are for kids? That's not what you said last year. What's changed since then?
You want candy instead? Hmm... Okay, hold on a second. (Wait... Didn't I have something on me...)
Oh! Look at that! I've got something good in my pocket. Here you go.
Hmm? It's already been opened? That's because I was eati—I mean, I just played a trick on you! Hahaha!
What! You're so mad that you're going to play a trick of your own? Hey, wait a minute. Isn't getting a treat and pulling a trick the most childish thing you can do?
All right... If you say so. Do your worst on this Halloween.
Sigh... I thought this was going to be fun, but (Captain) is as bossy as ever.

4 ✔

Sigh... Say, (Captain). How'd you become so close with everyone on the crew?
You know, I was actually thinkin' of throwing a costume party for the other Eternals, but it looks like everyone's already got their own plans.
That's just how the cookie crumbles, huh? I guess so, but it still kinda sucks...
Whoa, sorry! I didn't mean to be such a downer on Halloween!
So, uh... What're you up to, (Captain)? Lining up all those candies on your desk like that... Are you planning on handing these out to the crew?
Since my costume party isn't happening, we should have our own party, you say?
Sniff... (Captain)! I really should take a leaf out of your book of positivity!
Let's live it up on behalf of the other Eternals—just the two of us, (Captain)! It'll be a blast!

5 ✔

Hey, (Captain)! Knocking at my door like that... What can I do for you?
(Is this a trick? Or is it a treat?)
You want me to hide you? Getting targeted by kids dying to play their tricks on you, huh... Must be tough being so popular!
Well, this is unexpected, but I don't mind. I'll even take a peek outside for you...
(I was hoping to have a bit of fun with (Captain) myself, but I guess I gotta show off my mature side sometimes too.)
Whoa! T-that's cold!
Ahaha... A water gun, huh... A clean hit right in the back of the neck.
Hey, don't tell me this was all a part of your trick? Were you bluffing when you said you were getting targeted?
Ah, so I'm right... A fine performance, I must say. You had me completely fooled.
(Getting up from behind me like that... (Captain) really went all out, huh?)

Happy Holidays Cutscenes

1 ✔

Happy holidays!
This is finally going to be the year we get the Eternals together for a party. I can feel it!
Wonder if they'll show up, though...

2 ✔

Oh, hello, (Captain)! Perfect timing. You wouldn't happen to be... free this evening?
You are, are you? Gotcha, gotcha. Care to spend this most splendid evening with me then, my dearest (Captain)?
Oh, don't ask why. You want it spelled out for you?
It's a secret, I'm afraid! Let's just say that sometimes a leader like myself wants an excuse to show off.
Heheh... So I'll see you later! I trust you'll be ready?

3 ✔

Even I have fond memories of this holy night. For example, I used to ride with Santa in his red sleigh and we would travel the world.
What? You don't believe me? My memories are not lies. I even remember how fluffy the reindeer were.
Proof? Why would you ask for something like that? These are my childhood memories!
A-all right. If you must have proof, I guess I could show you some. Oh! But wait! All the proof's at home.
What? We could write a letter to Santa? Haha. You're a clever one.
All right. You write the letter and then give it to me. Then I'll go get a reply.
Why? Because Santa is my friend. We meet every single year.
Enough with the details. Go to it. I'll be sure to get a response from him. (Hmm... Now what should I write in the response letter to (Captain).)

4 ✔

(Captain)! Feast your eyes on this tree! I cut it down in the woods and decorated it all myself!
Well? Pretty gorgeous, right? Man... Brings me back to the days when I was known as the timber wunderkind!
With my unparalleled sword accuracy and technique, I mastered the art of carving trees. Did you know?
Something about your face tells me that you don't believe me now, do you?
(Aww... I actually did though.)
Huh? You don't believe me, but it's fine since the tree looks nice?
Hahaha! I see, I see! Welp, it's fine if you've taken a liking to it, I guess!

5 ✔

Why hello, (Captain)! Welcome to the Eternals' winter party!
I'm impressed how on time you are—that's what I like about you. You should be proud of yourself.
Huh? Are there any other guests? O-of course there are! It's an Eternals' party, after all!
Well... They all seemed to have other plans and are going to be a little late though.
Oh, look! It's already time! Why don't the two of us get started first? Yeah, let's do that!
I went out and found a whole bunch of rare delicacies! See!
This is a dish made by broiling the meat of a legendary 24-karat fowl born from a golden egg... And here's some fruit I picked on a certain long-forgotten island...
Hey, you aren't listening at all, are you! You're standing there looking like you're ready to dig in!
(That's strange... I really did do my best to find all sorts of rare cuisine... Could it be that (Captain) doesn't believe me?)

Please, Captain!

Vyrn and Lyria witness Seofon crying to (Captain). Because the other Eternals are preoccupied, he wishes to enlist the crew's aid in stall setup for an upcoming festival. They reluctantly agree and later join him at the festival site.

It is a customary afternoon, awash in the radiance of warm sunlight.
Seofon's Voice: Please, (Captain)! You've gotta do this for me!
Lyria: Huh? Was that Seofon's voice?
Vyrn: Sounded like it came from (Captain)'s room. Let's go take a look!
Seofon: You're the only one I can count on, (Captain)... Won't you do me this one solid?
(Captain) notices Lyria and Vyrn peeking out from behind the crying Seofon.
Lyria: Um... Is everything okay here?
Vyrn: We could hear ya from outside. What's this favor you're askin' for?
Seofon: Lyria! Vyrn! You two couldn't have shown up at a better time! Help me convince your captain!
Seofon: (Captain) just won't agree no matter what I say!
Seofon: I can't do this on my own—wait, I bet you're enjoying watching me squirm, aren't you, (Captain)?
Vyrn: Maybe you can start by tellin' us what exactly this is about.
Seofon: Right, where was I... Let me try to sum this up.
Seofon: I'm here as the leader of the Eternals to make an official request.
Vyrn: Yeah? Sounds like a big deal.
Lyria: S-so what does it involve?
Seofon: I need help running a festival stall!
Lyria: Running a...
Vyrn: Festival stall?
Gaze briefly shifting to the mildly exasperated duo, (Captain) casts a wry smile at Seofon as if to say, "I told you so."
Seofon: Hold on a second! Aren't your reactions a bit flat? This is where you're supposed to go, "Ooh!"
Seofon: Haven't you ever dreamed of handing out game prizes at a festival stall?
Seofon: Or cooking up yakisoba in a large griddle with dramatic flair?
Seofon: Because I sure have!
Lyria: I, er... can't say I haven't...
Seofon: See? I knew you'd understand, Lyria. It just so happens that the Eternals received such a request.
Seofon: As a festival lover, there's no way I could pass up a sweet deal like this, right?
Vyrn: You said somethin' like that during the Festival of Falling Flames too. Didn't know you were serious...
Seofon: When am I not serious? I'll have you know, I've been putting my heart and soul into livening up this coming festival!
Seofon: But as luck would have it, turns out we're short on manpower.
Seofon: Feower and Tien are busy in Stardust Town, while Fif and Eahta are out with Narmaya and Azusa...
Seofon: Seox is overseeing Jamil's training. Tweyen's gone shopping with Silva and her sisters.
Vyrn: Sounds like you've still got Anre, Threo, and Niyon.
Seofon: I do, but their hands will be full with the management side of the festival.
Seofon: Specifically, Anre's in charge of logistics and material procurement. Threo is aiding with setup and security, and Niyon will be holding a performance.
Seofon: Which leaves only me to man a stall!
Vyrn: Maybe you should've checked everyone's schedules before takin' on the request.
Seofon: The island's representative, who's an old friend of Anre's, asked directly. I couldn't say no—and besides—
Seofon: As much as I love just kicking back and enjoying festivals, I've always wanted to try running my own stall. So I jumped at the chance.
Seofon: And here I was daydreaming about how much fun it'd be running the stall with my fellow Eternals...
Seofon: But reality isn't always so kind. Honestly, we're in a tight spot.
Seofon: The island representative and the locals are all looking forward to a grand festival. The Eternals' reputation is on the line!
Seofon: Please, I beg of you! For the smiles of the island's people... Help this poor festival lover!
  1. Should've explained all that earlier.
  2. Hm, I dunno...

Choose: Should've explained all that earlier.
Seofon: Wha? Come to think of it, this was my first time giving you the full story...
Vyrn: You gotta be kiddin' me!
Lyria: W-well, I can see how being suddenly asked to help with a festival stall might feel overwhelming...
Seofon: So now that you know what's at stake, you'll help... right?

Choose: Hm, I dunno...
Seofon: Stop being such a tease, (Captain)!
Vyrn: The situation's mostly Seofon's fault, but hey, we wouldn't wanna disappoint the islanders, right?
Lyria: Let's stop teasing him and just accept, (Captain).
Seofon: Ah, Lyria, Vyrn, rarely have I heard more honeyed words! I'll be sure to buy you two candy apples at the festival!
Continue 1
(Captain) takes a moment before nodding in agreement.
Seofon: (Captain)! I knew you'd come around!
Seofon: Lyria, Vyrn, thanks for putting in a good word for me too!
Lyria: I think (Captain) was already planning to agree even if we didn't say anything...
Vyrn: Hey, who knows. Helpin' out with a stall could be fun. I'm lookin' forward to it already!
Seofon: I promise not to disappoint the customers—or any of you either!
Seofon: I'll let Rackam know the destination. See you guys later!
Seofon takes his leave, his elation apparent even from behind.
Days later, the crew makes landfall at the appointed island.
Seofon: Boy am I glad to see you guys! Prep work's literally just begun!
Seofon: Would you believe there's even stalls for cotton candy and balloon fishing? Of course, there's the good ol' yakisoba too!
Seofon: Most of the food stalls are ready to serve. Want me to treat you to anything?
Vyrn: 'Preciate it, but don't we have prep work to do?
Seofon: Oh... Yeah, good point.
Seofon: Let's finish up quick so we can get a chance to tour the festival grounds ourselves!
Seofon: Okay, off to our space! Follow me!
Vyrn: Weird how they're servin' food already when today's only for setup.
Lyria: Ahaha... It just goes to show how much everyone is looking forward to the main event.
(Captain) and company find themselves feeling inundated by Seofon's unusually high energy from the get-go.

When the World Finds Peace

Seofon has prepared various attractions, such as an archery game using replicas of the Two-Crown Bow, die-cutting based on his sword spirits, and whack-a-mole with monsters. With the assistance of (Captain), Lyria, and Vyrn, the Eternal is determined to entertain the next day's festivalgoers.

The crew arrives at a house Seofon says he's borrowing for the duration of the festival.
Seofon: So this is our base of operations! Make yourselves at home! Who's up for some tea?
Vyrn: I'm gettin' deja vu here... We just talked about needing to start prep work, remember?
Seofon: Oh, right... My mistake. I got carried away.
Seofon: Everyone coming together to prep for the festival just has me so pumped.
Seofon: Hanging out at a friend's house, sipping tea, munching on snacks, all while working towards a singular goal...
Seofon: It's just... nice! No?
Lyria: I know what you mean! Coming together like this gets me excited too!
Seofon: That's the spirit, Lyria! You get it!
Vyrn: Stop spoilin' him! We've got work to do!
Seofon: Oh, Vyrn, the surprisingly responsible adult...
Seofon: Well then, let me explain what exactly we'll be doing.
Seofon: Today's job is to set up the stall. That includes inspecting the prizes and getting them all in order. Then we'll need to make sure the mechanisms for the games are working as intended.
Seofon: I'll transport the prizes and doodads to the venue later this evening.
Seofon: As for the main event tomorrow, I'll need help running the stall.
Lyria: So the stall has to be up and ready to go by tonight... We'll have to work quick.
Vyrn: That's what I've been tryin' to say all along. Let's get to it!
Seofon: Love the enthusiasm, Vyrn! Here, come with me!
Seofon: Behold, the Eternals-Approved Unmissable Archery Challenge!
Seofon: The prizes are special sweets from Stardust Town, sent by Feower and Tien!
Lyria: Ooh... They look delicious!
Vyrn: An archery challenge... So we're usin' bows instead of guns for the attraction?
Seofon: That's right! Using the traditional rubber bullet guns would've worked too...
Seofon: But this kind of opportunity doesn't come every day, so I went the extra mile with bows!
Vyrn: So these are the bows we're—
Vyrn: Wait a sec!
Lyria: Wow! The box is full of Two-Crown Bows!
Seofon: They look just like the real thing, huh. I asked a craftsman skilled in detailed handiwork to make them.
Seofon: They should be light enough for even Lyria to hold.
Lyria: You're right! If it were a real bow, I definitely wouldn't be able to lift it.
Lyria: But this still feels a bit heavy for me... Shooting it might not be so easy.
Seofon: No worries there either. We have both adult and child versions. This smaller one's the latter.
Vyrn: Whoa, even I can hold this! Hehe, how do I look? Pretty cool, yeah?
(Captain) applauds Vyrn, who poses confidently with the bow.
Seofon: You're free to take one for yourselves. Consider it a souvenir.
Vyrn: Hmm, even if they do look like Two-Crown Bows, we'll be shootin' rubber suction cup arrows... Kinda lacks impact.
Lyria: Then again, making them too close to the real thing could be dangerous. I'd say this is just right!
Vyrn: Fair enough. So whaddya need help with here? I mean, the bows and arrows seem ready to go...
Seofon: Truth is, I got so distracted with the bows that I completely forgot about the targets.
Vyrn: Wha? How do ya expect people to hit a target that doesn't exist?
Seofon: Exactly... Which is why I need your help making the targets.
Seofon: Just stick the numbered papers on the small items in that box.
Vyrn: Sounds like something me or Lyria could handle.
Seofon: Could I ask you to take care of that, Vyrn? I have other tasks in mind for (Captain) and Lyria.
Vyrn: So there's more stuff to do... Wait, are we gonna have more than one stall?
Leaving Vyrn to his task, (Captain) and Lyria follow Seofon.
Seofon: Next up... Die-cutting blocks, based on the finer samples from my collection of sword spirits!
Seofon: Take a look at the Seven-Star Sword one. The blend of gravitas and brilliance in the colors... Is it amazing or what?
Lyria: It looks like the real thing... Even the details on the sword's hilt are accurate!
Lyria: Did you also find an artisan for these, like with the Two-Crown Bows earlier?
Seofon: Exactly! It was a real struggle just to locate a suitable manufacturer.
Seofon: And when I finally found someone, they said it was impossible to meet the deadline without a pricey rush order fee...
Seofon: In the end, I'm just really hyped that I was able to get these made!
Lyria: Considering how much it must've cost, I can imagine.
Seofon: Yeah, because even though they rushed it, these only arrived this morning.
Seofon: I haven't had a chance to open the packages yet. They should be fine, but I could really use help inspecting them.
Seofon: I wouldn't want our visitors to end up with anything that looks or feels off.
Lyria: Leave this to me! I'm good at spotting tiny details!
Seofon: Now we're talking! All right, Lyria, I'm counting on you!
Seofon: And as for you, (Captain), I've got a more physical task in mind. Come along.
Following Seofon to the back entrance, (Captain) sees a completed stall.
Seofon: This is the Eternals Whack-a-Mole station that I built during late nights atop Terra.
Seofon: It's a fun little whack-a-mole game. Nothing too fancy here.
Seofon moves to the opposite side to operate the controls.
Small monster figures pop out of the corresponding holes in the machine.
Seofon: The twist is that I control the popping monsters, making it more challenging.
Flashing a sly smile, Seofon intensifies his focus.
The monster faces begin bursting forth at such alarming speed that even (Captain) has difficulty tracking their movements.
Seofon: I need your help adjusting the difficulty level of this game.
Seofon: When I was testing it on Terra, Seox lent a hand, but, well... You know how he is, right?
  1. I might even surpass Seox.
  2. Don't expect me to hold back.

Choose: I might even surpass Seox.
Seofon: Ooh! Bold statement! If you're gonna talk big, you'd better have the chops to match!

Choose: Don't expect me to hold back.
Seofon: I was hoping you'd say that—
Seofon: Uh, (Captain)? Maybe you don't need to grip the hammer so tightly...
Seofon: These things took a lot of effort to create... So try to go easier on them...
Continue 1
A quiet yet fierce clash between the captain and the Eternal commences.
Seofon: Huff... Huff... I didn't expect you take it this far, (Captain)...
  1. I-I can't raise my arms...

Choose: I-I can't raise my arms...
Lyria: (Captain), Seofon! We finished our tasks, but...
Vyrn: Why are you two so exhausted?
Seofon: Haha... We might've gotten a bit carried away...
Seofon: I learned a lot from the session though. Now I've got a better grasp of how it should work.
Seofon: Thanks, you guys. I think we're all set for the main event!
Lyria: You're welcome! Besides, the real fun starts tomorrow!
Vyrn: Yeah, all this prep work's got me psyched for the big day!
Seofon: Nice to see you're getting into the festive spirit too, Vyrn! I'll be counting on you to keep up the good work!
Vyrn: You got it!
Vyrn: Anyhoo, what stall were you two workin' on all this time?
Lyria: Oh, it's a whack-a-mole game! See, press this and they pop up!
Vyrn: So you guys were whackin' moles for hours? No wonder you're so tired...
Lyria: Haha, I can see how it might be addictive. It's so fun to just to see them bounce up and down!
Lyria: Vyrn, why don't we try it too? It'll be good practice for tomorrow!
Vyrn: Sure, but... isn't this a bit unfair for me— whether I'm whackin' or controllin' the monsters?
Lyria: Don't worry, Vyrn; you can do it!
Vyrn: Well... Okay, I guess I can give it a shot.
Lyria and Vyrn become fully engrossed in a game of whack-a-mole.
(Captain) watches the two with a warm smile.
Seofon: (I'm glad they're enjoying it. I think we really made something good here. Now, it's up to me to shine tomorrow!)
The sight of their revelry fills Seofon with further resolve.

When the World Finds Peace: Scene 2

Seofon's stalls prove very popular. One family expresses gratitude, noting that this may be the island's first and last such festival, given monster attacks. Though Seofon assures them he will return, he takes their words to heart—and notices how (Captain)'s gaze lingers on the family as they depart.

The following night, the festival venue is buzzing with excitement, undiminished by the quaintness of the small island.
Lyria: Get your die-cutting blocks here! There's no waiting time right now!
Vyrn: Hey, (Captain)! Help me hand out the prizes over here!
Seofon: All right, sixty points! Now head over to that little red dragon for your prize!
  1. It's getting busy fast!

Choose: It's getting busy fast!
Seofon's stalls are a resounding success, entertaining a constant stream of visitors right from the beginning of the festival.
Boy's Voice: Dad! Look, it's the die-cutting game! Can I try it? Please?
Father's Voice: You think you can do it? It's not as easy as it looks, you know.
Lyria: Not to worry—we have simple ones available too!
Mother: Really? Are there designs that even younger children can manage?
Girl: I'm not a little kid! I can do it better than my brother! He's just clumsy!
Boy: Hey! Take that back!
Father: Now, now, no fighting in front of the nice lady... Sorry for the trouble.
Lyria: Oh, no, no... It's really no problem at all!
Lyria: What kind of designs would you two like?
Boy: Something cool!
Girl: Something pretty!
Lyria: Okay! Let's go pick out some designs together over there!
Lyria: If you need any help, just ask me, okay?
Boy & Girl: Okay!
Boy: I... I did it!
Lyria: Wow, great job!
Girl: You kept messing up though.
Boy: Sh-shut up! Mine looks cooler than yours anyway!
Girl: At least mine looks prettier than yours!
Lyria: Haha... If you'd like, why not check out some of our other attractions too?
Girl: Really?
Boy: Awesome! I wanna try that archery game!
Girl: Do you even know how to use a bow?
Boy: How hard could it be? Just watch me!
Boy: Rgh!
Vyrn: Hey, maybe the big bow is still a bit too much for ya?
Lyria: We have smaller, easier-to-use bows for children too. You can even move a bit closer...
Boy: No, I can do this! I'll hit it next time!
Seofon: Ah, that's the spirit! Kids should be full of energy!
Vyrn: Seofon! What about the whack-a-mole game?
Seofon: Oh, seeing (Captain)'s interest earlier, I left that in the captain's very capable hands. Now then...
Seofon notices the boy struggling and flashes a wide grin.
Seofon: Hey there, young man! Having a tough time, huh?
Boy: Uh, who are you, old man?
Seofon: O-old?
Seofon: I'm the sprightly young guy running this stall—just a festival enthusiast!
Girl: You sound fishy...
Seofon: Ouch...
Seofon: Well, listen up. Shooting a bow isn't about using sheer force.
Seofon: You need to relax, then pour all your energy into the shot at the final moment. Try loosening your shoulders first.
Boy: Like this?
Woah!
The boy does as Seofon instructed, only to lose his balance from the bow's weight.
Fortunately the Eternal is there to catch him.
Seofon: Careful there. See, it's important to use equipment that matches your size and strength.
Boy: Okay...
Seofon: Now try using this smaller bow and move a bit closer.
Boy: I-I'm gonna do it from this spot!
Seofon: Sure... True, it's no good to give up on something before trying.
Lyria: Here's your bow. Good luck!
Boy: Thank you, miss!
Seofon: Why does Lyria get so much more of a warm reception...
With a deep breath, the boy carefully draws back the bowstring and releases the arrow.
Lyria: Great job! That's five points!
Boy: I-I did it!
Seofon: Well done! You've got skill!
Boy: I'm gonna try the other targets too!
Feeling energized, the boy hits another five-point target and exchanges his ten points for a prize.
Boy: See? I'm awesome!
Girl: I want a prize too!
Seofon: Well then, why don't you try the whack-a-mole game? Right now, (Captain) is running it, so this might be your chance!
Boy: Chance? What do you mean?
Seofon: Between me and that stallkeeper, who looks stronger?
Girl: That's a tough question...
Boy: Never mind the old man; let's just do it!
Seofon: Hey, wait a sec! Call me the festival enthusiast, okay!
Vyrn: Normally I'd be rootin' for (Captain), but let's cheer the kids on this time around!
Lyria: Haha! Yes, let's!
Seofon watches them head to the whack-a-mole game, slightly deflated.
Seofon: Good luck, guys...
The parents approach Seofon, looking apologetic.
Father: Sorry about earlier. The kids are just really excited since it's their first festival.
Mother: And thank you so much for your kindness. We really appreciate it.
Seofon: No worries at all. We're having lots of fun too.
Father: Glad to hear it. By the way, would you happen to be a friend of the village chief?
Seofon: Well, sort of... More like a friend of a friend.
Father: I see... We heard that this festival was made possible through an old friend of the village chief's.
Mother: We've been wanting to thank him as well.
Father: This is such a wonderful event for our small island. It's likely the last of its kind we'll ever see.
Seofon: Hey, never say never. I, at least, do plan on coming back someday.
Father: Haha, we appreciate that. Times are tough, but we can always hope.
Mother: We had quite a scare with monsters recently.
Mother: That's probably why our son is so eager to use a bow.
Seofon: I see...
Father: But it's no use dwelling on the negative. This is a celebration after all.
Mother: Thank you for listening and making this a special night.
Seofon: Not at all—it's important to let off some steam every now and then. Otherwise you'd be gloomy all the time, right?
Girl: Mom! Dad! I got a prize!
Boy: We got so many treats!
Mother: How wonderful! Why don't we enjoy them while watching the fireworks?
Father: Let's find a spot to enjoy the view first. We shouldn't bother the nice people here any longer.
Boy: Thanks, ol—mister!
Seofon: You're welcome. Glad you kids enjoyed yourselves!
Girl: It was super fun! Let's do it again sometime!
Lyria: Yes! Definitely!
Vyrn: See ya!
The family waves goodbye and disappears into the crowd.
(Captain) continues waving until they are out of sight.
Seofon: ...

When the World Finds Peace: Scene 3

As the festival nears its end, Seofon expresses his wish for a world where peaceful times could be the everyday norm. While (Captain) and Seofon share each other's dreams of peace in the skies, they quickly get to talking about stall plans for the following year's festival.

As the festival draws to a close, the crowds begin to thin.
People head toward the concert stage for the night's finale.
Lyria: Niyon's performance against a backdrop of fireworks... I can't wait!
Vyrn: Let's finish cleaning up so we can go check it out too!
Seofon: No need for that. Feel free to take off and enjoy the festival.
Seofon: You guys have already done so much; leave the cleanup to me.
Vyrn: Aw, don't be a stranger! We're helpin' out till the end!
Lyria: Exactly! It'll go much faster if we all pitch in anyway!
Seofon: That may be true, but still...
  1. Can you two go get us refreshments?

Choose: Can you two go get us refreshments?
Vyrn: So while Lyria and I are shoppin', you and Seofon are gonna clean up?
Seofon: No, no! Really, I've got this, (Captain)—
Vyrn: I think (Captain)'s mind is already made up on this, Seofon. You might as well accept it.
Lyria: Ahaha... Then let's hurry and get some snacks!
Vyrn: Right! Candy apples, yakisoba—we'll grab everything we see!
(Captain) nods with an encouraging smile as the two leave.
Seofon: Really appreciate you going the extra mile to help me out, (Captain).
Seofon: Well then, let's get to work so we can enjoy Niyon's performance and the fireworks later.
The two begin packing up.
While (Captain) carefully puts away the targets and replica bows used for the archery game...
Seofon disassembles the stalls.
Seofon: ...
  1. What's wrong?

Choose: What's wrong?
Seofon: Oh... Sorry! I got a bit sentimental.
Seofon: Today's been an absolute blast, and now that it's ending... I'm feeling kinda lonely.
Seofon: Festivals aren't an everyday thing.
Seofon: But imagine living in a world where this festive atmosphere is a regular thing.
Seofon stops to look up at the sky.
Seofon: In such a world, the Eternals wouldn't be needed.
Seofon: You wouldn't be called the singularity either.
Seofon: You'd have your parents by your side, maybe siblings too.
  1. Seofon?

Choose: Seofon?
Seofon: The other Eternals have changed so much since I first met them...
Seofon: Of course it's a shame that everyone's schedules didn't align, but I was actually glad in a way.
Seofon: It feels like we've all been able to enjoy more peaceful times lately... Things really have changed for the better.
Seofon: But when I saw the look on your face as you bid that family farewell earlier...
(Captain) recalls the scene.
The captain had sent them off with a smile. However, in that instant...
(Captain), too, might have felt a twinge of longing for such cherished family moments.
  1. Every day is fun for me.
  2. I like the world as it is now.

Choose: Every day is fun for me.
Seofon: (Captain)... You're really strong of heart, you know.

Choose: I like the world as it is now.
Seofon: Yeah. You always were the kind of person to say such a thing with conviction.

Seofon: Even so, as your elder, I hope you get to enjoy those heartfelt moments too.
Seofon: Once you've reached Estalucia, reunited with your father, resolved everything...
Seofon: Maybe I can be the quirky stallkeeper for when your family visits the festival.
Seofon: Big Brother Seofon's always here for you, (Captain). Let me know if you ever need anything.
Seofon: Both as an individual and as the leader of the Eternals, I want to do what I can to solve your issues.
Seofon: It'd be for the benefit of the skies as well.
  1. Thank you, Seofon.

Choose: Thank you, Seofon.
Seofon: Whoa, it sure is embarrassing being thanked so frankly like that!
Seofon: Aw, we haven't made much progress with the cleanup... Let's speed things up!
The two quickly get back to packing.
Suddenly, a question crosses the captain's mind.
  1. What do you want to do, Seofon?

Choose: What do you want to do, Seofon?
Seofon: Huh?
  1. If the world becomes peaceful...

Choose: If the world becomes peaceful...
Seofon: ...
Seofon: Good question...
Seofon: I think I'd like to run this kind of festival stall—ideally with you by my side.
  1. Next year, let's make yakisoba.

Choose: Next year, let's make yakisoba.
Seofon: Next year?
Seofon: Sounds good. I'll let Anre know too.
Seofon: If I can get at least one of the Eternals to help, that'll be perfect! I'd better double-check their schedules early!
Seofon: Oh, and let's decide on the type of yakisoba too.
Seofon: I think we can give it a unique touch with the ingredients we use.
Seofon: We could even have the noodles overseen by an expert... This is getting exciting!
Seofon and (Captain) discuss the following year's festival plans with great enthusiasm.
For it to come true, the Eternal is determined to keep striving forward.
