Within the continuing dream, a young (Captain) returns home to Orologia after playing outside with Xing and Vyrn. During their conversation, Orologia makes a promise to find out what (Captain)'s mother's feelings were toward her child.

Outside, Orologia has already started scrubbing (Captain)'s muddy clothes on a washboard.
