This page contains general guidelines and structure of the Advanced Grids page and its sub pages. Discussions for these pages can be done under the respective thread in the User Guides section of the gbf.wiki discord.
Terms like "FLB" and "ULB" should not be used. Instead, 4★ and 5★ should be used so that it is clear which level of uncap the section is referring to.
Grid Setup Guidelines
What Makes a Good Setup
A good grid setup should include all relevant information that is required to run the setup, whether this includes which summons are run, which skills are pressed, or even what character/weapon uncap level is required. If there are alternative characters, weapons, or summons that can be used it should be noted in a way that makes it clear.
Grids should be built in a way that is the most optimal for the respective situation, within reason. Use the Grid Weapons section on each page as a guide to what is reasonable investment. Budget options can be also be listed so long as it also follows the Grid Weapons recommendations of what is good weapon investment. In other words, Advanced Grids should not suggest investment into "Bad" weapons when those upgrade materials can be used elsewhere.
Things To Avoid
These pages are intended to showcase different ways to build a grid or teams for different scenarios. Listing every possible combination of weapons to cater to a players current inventory is not the goal. If a setup can run a slightly different grid or team setup, please utilize the |swap#= or |info#= parameters within the templates or the Template:WpnSub/Header and Template:WpnSub/Row templates. If a grid is different enough from the existing listed setups, then a new setup can be added.
Sources
Setups should include a source whenever possible, video showcases being the most preferred. If a grid or team setup differs from the source, it should be noted when listing the source. Example:
Setups that utilize premium draw weapons are allowed, but a farmable option should be listed whenever possible. Refer to the Special Premium Draw Weapons sections within the Grid Weapons section for a list of acceptable weapons to include. Uncap levels should also be noted in case fully uncapping is not needed.
