Auld Lang Syne: The Bonitomurai Strikes Back is the special New Year's event for the end of 2025.

This event is part of the 12 Divine Generals series. Listed in order of premiere:

For new players

  • Umami, Soba, and Udon points displayed on the event screen will be retallied every 60 minutes. The time and date of the next tally is displayed under the point totals. Results will be updated after the tally is completed.
  • Loot can be picked up until 09:59 UTC, January 5, 202618:59 JST, January 5, 2026. You will not be able to pick up any loot after the pickup time has ended.

Notable Rewards

About Auld Lang Syne: The Bonitomurai Strikes Back

In this event, Bonitomurai will appear in the battles as boss.

Defeating them will earn you umami points.

There is a chance that the special foes Bonito and Hellfire Bonito may appear in a raid battle. Defeat them to earn exclusive trophies and a huge score of umami points.

The chances of appearing are greater on the Impossible difficulty.

Defeat as many Bonitomurai and Bonito as you can to obtain awesome loot!

When a raid battle is cleared, there is a chance the quest A Hunt for the Finest Ingredients will appear, in which attempts can be accumulated.

Clearing the quest allows you obtain ingredients required for Operation Fresh New Year Dish.

One type of foe will appear the first time the quest is played. When the quest is cleared, a new type of foe will appear.

Different types of foes drop different types of ingredients.

The raid can be played with no AP required.

If a new type of foe appears and the number of attempts is insufficient, raid battles must be cleared to accumulate them again.

Operation Fresh New Year Dish

Use the ingredients above along with bonito flakes obtained from Bonitomurai to create various New Year's soba and udon dishes.

The dishes you create can be obtained as items. Make plenty of your favorites and enjoy the year's end!

Skipping the Event Quests

By satisfying all of the following requirements three times in event quests, you can skip the next quest and thereafter.

  • Don't get knocked out
  • Don't use an elixir
  • Clear within 10 turns

Up to 99,999 attempts can be accumulated in the quest A Hunt for the Finest Ingredients, and it can be skipped up to 10 times at once.

The following effects won't be applied to EXP and RP obtained and loot drop rates if you skip.

  • Wonders
  • Characters' support skills
  • Weapon skills
  • Summon aura

The quest A Hunt for the Finest Ingredients can no longer be played or skipped after the event has ended.

About Year-End Harvest: Bonito Gala!

The Year-End Harvest: Bonito Gala is a solo battle where you defeat as many foes as you can within 10 turns.

Earn umami points based on how many Bonitomurais you defeat.

The Year-End Harvest: Bonito Gala can be challenged multiple times, but umami points can only be obtained once per day. The limit for earning umami points resets each day at 5 a.m. (JST) during the event period.

You can earn FP from playing event battles in this event.

If after sending backup to "Everyone" in a raid battle and there are 5 or less participants after 1 minute

If after sending backup to "Everyone" in a 3 EP raid battle and there are 5 or less participants after 6 minutes, an additional 1 EP discount will be applied.
