Character Attributes

HP

Hit points (HP) represent the health of characters. When a character's hit points drop to 0, the character gets knocked out and ejected from battle.

When all allies have been ejected from battle, the battle is lost.

Full Elixir and other items can revive allies who have been knocked out.

ATK

The greater your ATK, the more damage you'll deal to foes.

ATK is determined by equipped weapons and summons, along with active skills. The combined ATK from equipped weapons and summons (excluding sub aura summon slots) is distributed to all party members.

Element

Main article: Element

A character can have one of the following elements:

The Main Character's element is based on the equipped main weapon.

Certain characters can dynamically change their element to match the MC's current element, such as Lyria (Event) and Young Cat (Event).

Malinda (Event)'s element changes based on the fruits fed to her.

On the wiki, characters with dynamic elements have the label .

Race

"Race" is officially called "Type" in-game. For clarity purposes, the wiki uses the term "Race".

Characters can be of the following races:

Race affects or is used in the following:

The "Other" race is a catch-all label used for characters that do not fall into the other racial categories. "Other" can include vampires, werewolves, Astrals, Moondwellers, demons, dragons, animals, monsters, mechanical beings, golems, etc.

Some characters can have two races, such as Stan and Aliza.

The Main Character's race is "Other". A character's Race cannot be changed by the player.

Style

Not to be confused with Style Swap

Characters have one of the following Styles:

Style affects the following:

Despite the names of these Style labels, it is not necessarily indicative of a character's skills or capabilities. For example, healing is not exclusive to Heal-style characters.

The Main Character's Style is determined by their current Class. The Style of recruitable characters cannot be changed by the player with the exception of Malinda (Event).

Weapon Specialty

Main article: Weapon Specialty

Weapon specialty is an attribute that allows a character to gain 20% more ATK from weapons of that type in a Weapon Grid. Characters can have up to two weapon specialties.

The Main Character's weapon specialties are based on their current Class.

Gender

Gender is a character attribute used for game mechanics. A character's lore, appearance, and other factors do not affect this attribute. Characters can have the following genders:

  • Male
  • Female
  • Male/Female
  • Other

Gender is used in the following:

  • Certain character skills and support skills (such as  I Love You All!Boost to skill effects for male allies.,  Delicate InnocenceIf the Main Character is Gran: 30% boost to Herja's double attack rate.

Outfits and Poses

Changing Outfits

Characters with multiple outfits or multiple versions can have their outfits changed, affecting their appearance on the Home screen, profile screen, party screen, in battles, and when performing charge attacks and chain bursts. If you have an outfit for a character that isn't currently in your party, that character will have that outfit upon joining your party.

Characters with multiple versions retain their original element even when using the outfit of a version with a different element.

Changing Poses

Uncapping a character to a certain point unlocks a new pose, giving the character a fresh look. This new look is also reflected in battle and during charge attacks and chain bursts, and can be changed at your discretion. (The number of times a character needs to be uncapped to unlock a new pose varies by character.)

Poses and outfits can be changed by tapping the Appearance button on the character details screen.
