Overview
Rei is one of the best utility characters in Dark; she can greatly augment the abilities of the element's best attackers, or inhibit foes' actions.
How to Play
- Alaya-VijnanaTake control of another Dark ally, granting them Double StrikeAttacks twice each turn (Can't be removed)
Duration: Indefinite.
(Ends on recast.): Grants a Dark ally permanent, undispellable Double StrikeAttacks twice each turn
until recast. Rei cannot attack or use charge attacks while using this skill. It is most effective on an ally with powerful normal attacks and/or a high multiattack rate.
- MokshaSwitch positions with a sub ally.

is an incredible buff that grants the affected ally (your first sub ally) guaranteed triple attacks, a Perpetuity-modifier ATK boost, a boost to damage cap, and a boost to dodge rate. In exchange, however, it lowers the ally's DEF by 50%.

Synergy
Celestial VisionBoost to DMG taken (Can't be removed)
Local status effect is especially potent in CA-focused party setups. After her first CA to apply the effect, lets her swap places with another powerful attacker, especially ones that rely on external MA buffs or dodge buffs such as:
- Vaseraga: High Defense modifiers make the penalty easy to handle
- Narmaya: Bit riskier with her own DEF penalty, but her own CA will remove that penalty pretty quickly.
- Seox: Dodge rate helps preserve his own buff stacks and the guaranteed TA's always keep his momentum going
- Anthuria (Yukata): Already dodges a lot, while relying on frequent CA attacks to keep that buff going. Excellent choice to double down on the support role, especially in longer battles.
Ama no SakateProgress battle turn by 5 at end of turn.
(Activates only when caster is a main ally. Can't recast.): is somewhat limited in synergy with other characters due to the 10 turns initial cooldown, as many significant turn-dependent bonus effects and other skills with initial cooldown will already be in effect at that point. But it can still be useful for characters with generally long cooldowns. Unfortunately, relying on this skill also effectively prevents her from using MokshaATK, triple attack rate, DMG cap, and dodge rate are boosted / DEF is lowered (Can't be removed)
until the skill is ready.
- Clarisse (Valentine) notably still grants more party-wide attack passively up to turn 30, and doesn't speed up turns that much by herself.
- Similarly, Forte's support skill takes 17 turns to ramp up fully with no turn speed up from her.
- Fediel: Cursed Funeral has one of the longest skill cooldowns in the game, which can make Rei's skill quite impactful.
- Zooey (Grand): Likewise has a pretty long cooldown for her signature ability, though she's typically not used in longer fights to begin with.
- Jeanne d'Arc (Dark): More or less ensures Eternal Chaos can be reused on turn 11, which in turn also resets cooldowns for her other skills.
