Misc 2016

  • June 23-30, 2016 - first time all 4 beasts were combined into a single event; previously, each element had its own separate event
  • August 8-15, 2016
  • October 7-13, 2016 - pendant overflow past 30,000 implemented
  • November 9-14, 2016 - new weapon Neptune's Trident and a 4th batch of Gold Nuggets added

Changes in the February 2017 rerun

  • Feb 2017 Weapon Draw Ticket added to the Pendant Shop.
  • Extreme+ battles have been updated:
    • The max number of players has been lowered from 60 to 30.
    • The max EP cost has been lowered from 5 to 3.
    • The battle balance has been adjusted.
    • The amount of Four Symbols pendants rewarded has changed.
  • As of a February 10 update, the number of pendants that can be kept when hitting the cap in battle was increased.

Changes in the April 2017 rerun

If you have traded these weapons previously, one more will be available. If you haven't, two of each will be available.
  • Rising Beast Trials were added.
Rising Beast Trials are high-difficulty solo battles against Zhuque, Xuanwu, Baihu and Qinglong.
Starting a trial requires one of the corresponding seals.
  • Skills can be added to Four Beast weapons.
You will now be able to choose from one of three skills to add to the weapons listed below.
Ray of Zhuque, Xuanwu Mace, Baihu Claw, Qinglong Spear
Skills can be added by using ciphers that are available in the shop. Trade for them with treasure you can get from the new Rising Beasts Trials.
These items can be traded for summons and fully uncapped weapons in the shop.

Changes in the May 2017 rerun

  • One Gold Brick will be added to the shop treasure trade's stock.
  • The trade limit will be reset for the Beast Seals below and the number of Four Symbols Pendant required for the first trade will be lowered:
Zhuque Seal, Xuanwu Seal, Baihu Seal, Qinglong Seal
  • Assist Bonus was added.
Get a boost to ATK and max HP based on your rank for event raid battles.
  • Status icon for the entry timing bonus has been changed.
  • You can earn more rising beast crystal's sparkles from the following raid battles.
  • Zhuque Showdown
  • Xuanwu Showdown
  • Baihu Showdown
  • Qinglong Showdown

Changes in the July 2018 rerun

  • One Gold Brick will be added to the stock of the Treasure Trade section in the shop along with the game update on Jul 9 (JST).
  • Maniac-difficulty solo quests were added.
Maniac-difficulty quests are not as tough as the Four Beast Trial quests. If you are having trouble in clearing the trials, you might want to give a shot for this.
Clearing a maniac-difficulty quest will immediately max out the rising beast crystal's shine regardless of its current state. You will be able to start an Extreme+ raid battle by maxing out the crystal's shine.
You can play 2 maniac-difficulty quests in total each day.
The number of Four Symbol pendants you can get from Maniac quests will not be affected by the cardinal bonus schedule.

Changes in the September 2018 rerun

  • Gold Nugget ×15 will be added to the event shop.
  • A dialog box will appear when Extreme+ raid battles are playable.
  • The entry timing bonus's boost to max HP and ATK will no longer be applied when joining an extreme-difficulty raid battle whose EP requirement is reduced to 2.
  • The rank cap for players eligible for the assist bonus will be raised. Assist bonus will now be applied to players of rank 100 and below.

  • The daily mission will be available from the event start.

Changes in the January 2019 rerun

  • Gold nuggets (carried over) will be added to the Four Symbols trade.
They are gold nuggets carried over from uncleared daily missions in the past Rise of the Beast events.
Gold nuggets from this event's uncleared daily missions will be carried over to the next event.
  • The number of Zhuque, Xuanwu, Baihu, and Qinglong seals in Four Symbols trade stock will be changed to 9 each.
Up to 5 of each seals can be traded for with 30,000 Four Symbols pendants.
The number of these seals in stock will be reset after the event.
There are no changes to the number of Four Symbols pendants required to trade for a seal.
  • Bosses in Extreme+ raid battles will have resistance against elements except for the element superior to the bosses' element.

Changes in the April 2019 rerun

  • Higher-difficulty solo quests (Proud, Proud+) were added.
    • These quests can be cleared only once during the event period, and can be retried until cleared. No elixirs can be used.
    • The Proud quest will unlock by clearing the Extreme raid battle solo within 1 turn.
      • The first turn ends when the Attack button appears again after tapping it once.
    • The Proud+ quest will unlock by clearing all four Proud quests.
  • The amount of Four Symbols pendants have been increased for each battle badge loot.

Changes in the June 2019 rerun

  • The maximum limit of Four Symbols pendants that can be held has been increased from 30,000 to 100,000.
  • The loot from the Proud and Proud+ quests has been changed.
    • Lvl 120 Zhuque
      • A Zhuque seal will be added to the completion loot.
      • A Zhuque seal will be removed from the drop loot, and the summon Archangel has been added.
    • Lvl 120 Xuanwu
      • A Xuanwu seal has been added to the completion loot.
      • A Xuanwu seal has been removed from the drop loot, and the summon Archangel has been added.
    • Lvl 120 Baihu
      • A Baihu seal has been added to the completion loot.
      • A Baihu seal has been removed from the drop loot, and the summon Archangel has been added.
    • Lvl 120 Qinglong
      • A Qinglong seal has been added to the completion loot.
      • A Qinglong seal has been removed from the drop loot, and the summon Archangel has been added.
    • Lvl 150 Huanglong & Qilin
      • A Huanglong Omega anima and a Qilin Omega anima have been added to the completion loot.
  • Items obtained in the Four Symbols Pendants Trade will be directly added to the items' totals instead of being sent to the crate.

Changes in the July 2019 rerun

The schedule shows which beast drops more Four Symbols pendants during a certain period.

Changes in the October 2019 rerun

It has been added in the Oct 3 (JST) update.
  • Notification will appear on the Home screen once a day if the Maniac quest can still be played after 5 p.m. (JST).

Changes in the December 2019 rerun

It has been added in the Dec 16 (JST) update.
All Extreme+ quests can be played during strike time. Don't miss it, and get loads of Four Symbols pendants!
Changing your crew's strike time to later time after it has already been activated twice won't let you activate it for the third time that day. The count resets at 5 a.m. (JST) each day.
Cardinal bonuses won't be applied to Maniac, Proud, and Proud+ quests.
  • Extreme+ raid battles are now included in daily missions.

Changes in the March 2020 rerun

  • Gold Nugget ×15 have been added to the Four Symbols Pendant Shop stock.
  • Perpetuity Ring ×1 has been added to the Treasure Trade stock.
  • You can trade 5,000 Four Symbols pendants for one gold nugget, up to a total of 15 gold nuggets.
    • Four Symbols Pendants Trade Reset
    The amount of necessary Four Symbols pendants will reset after each event.
    The trade rate will change to 10,000 Four Symbols pendants for one gold nugget after trading for 15 gold nuggets.
  • A guide has been added to the event screen.
    This guide will help you by suggesting next possible goals for this event.

Changes in the June 2020 rerun

It has been added in the Jun 5 (JST) update.

Changes in the August 2020 rerun

  • New weapons and summons added.
  • New Impossible raid added.
  • Addition of gold nuggets will be suspended from this run. The newly added Four Symbols stones will take their place hereafter.
  • Along with the addition of the new Impossible raid battle, the solo quests Rising Beast Trials will be removed.
    • Jadeites, which were obtainable from the Rising Beast Trials, will now be available from the Impossible raid and Four Symbols pendants trade.
    • Trophies that were obtainable from the Rising Beast Trials are planned to be adjusted in a future update so that they can be obtained by another means.
  • Along with the addition of Shenxian badges, the number of badges required to pick up all the preexisting badge loot will be reduced.
  • Archangel weapons will be added to the Four Symbols trade as an "upgrade material set."
    • 10 types of archangel weapons are included in a set.
    • There is no change to number of Four Symbols pendants required for the Archangel weapons

Changes in the November 2020 rerun

  • Previously uncollected Four Symbols stones will be added to the Four Symbols trade.
    • The number of Four Symbols stones that were not collected during the previous run will be added to the Four Symbols trade.
    • Four Symbols stones that are not collected during this run of Rise of the Beasts will be added to the Four Symbols trade from the next run.
  • Perpetuity ring has been added to the treasure trade, and the gold nuggets required to trade for it have been added to the Four Symbols trade.
    • One gold nugget can be traded for with 10,000 Four Symbols pendants.
    • There are no plans to add more gold nuggets in the future.
  • Item drops in Shenxian (Impossible) have been adjusted.
    • True animas and fragments have been added to normal treasure chests.
    • Damascus grain, urns, and seals have been added to special loot, which is now easier to obtain depending on the number of honors collected.
  • Certain trophies obtainable in Rise of the Beasts have been changed.
    • The following trophies have had their requirements adjusted due to the removal of the solo battle Rising Beast Trials, which was previously necessary to obtain them.

      • Wings of the Fiery Bird
      • Hull of the Watery Shell
      • Paws of the Earthen Beast
      • Breath of the Windy Serpent

  • The amount of badges required to receive all Zhuque, Xuanwu, Baihu, and Qinglong badge loot has been reduced from 150 to 120.
  • Zhuque, Xuanwu, Baihu, and Qinglong badge loot has been adjusted.
  • 130 Shenxian badge loot has been changed from Four Symbols Pendant ×1,000 to Four Symbols Stone ×1.

Five Pure Qing Soulcore will be added with each run of Rise of the Beasts. A total of 30 Pure Qing Soulcore are planned to be added to the Four Symbols trade.
Qing Soulcore ×10 can be traded for Pure Qing Soulcore ×1 in the Treasure Trade.

  • The Normal, Hard, and Very Hard difficulty solo battles have been removed.
  • Attempts can now be stocked for Extreme+ battles.
  • Settings have been added for enabling or disabling the pop-up that displays for Extreme+ battles and Shenxian Showdown.

Changing Settings
Settings can be changed on the Rise of the Beasts event screen by tapping Extra > Misc. Settings > Pop-Up Settings, or in the Misc. Settings in the Extreme+ Pop-Up.
  • The maximum number of Four Symbols pendants that can be held has been increased from 100,000 to 200,000.
  • Pendants obtained from daily missions and clear rewards will now ignore the maximum limit that can be held.
  • Loot for up to 130 battle badges has been added to battle badge loot for defeating Zhuque.
  • Loot for up to 200 battle badges has been added to battle badge loot for clearing Shenxian Showdown.
  • The following items were added to Treasure > Rise of the Beasts in the treasure trade.
  • Archangel weapons will now drop as loot from Maniac battles.
  • The amount of archangel weapons that drop from Impossible battles has been decreased.
  • The amount of Four Symbols pendants that drop as discoverer loot from Impossible battles has been increased.
  • The following items were added as drop loot in the Lvl 90 Agni and Impossible battles.
  • Pure Zhu Soulcore and Pure Qing Soulcore will now drop from Impossible battles.
