This article is about the regular raid. For the Impossible Omega III raid, see Tiamat Aura Omega (Raid). For the Malice raid, see Tiamat Malice (Raid). For the recruitable character, see Tiamat. For the Omega summon stone, see Tiamat Omega.
Tiamat is one of the primal bosses of the Phantagrande Skydom islands. She is first encountered on Port Breeze Archipelago. Outside of the Main Quests, she is a Wind-element raid boss.

Strategy
Tiamat Omega has a fairly high Double Attack rate and base Attack, otherwise she is pretty simple, with no HP triggers, and the only thing to watch for is her Overdrive Charge Attack. Tempest can devastate most players if they're not prepared for it, as it deals a large amount of damage to random targets, meaning it can potentially eat past Mirror ImageNext one-to-one attack received will be ineffective
(Effect removed on next all-foe all-ally attack)
and low-powered DMG CutTaking less DMG
Damage Cut reducing damage taken for all elements.
Warning! Does not work for Plain Damage!s if you're unlucky.
Best case scenario is to push her into Overdrive and all the way through to Break before her first Charge Attack. This means you will want to use Dark Fencer with a Fire weapon mainhand in order to ensure that Stall, Miserable Mist, and Gravity hit consistently. As her normal attacks can deal around 3000 damage unmitigated, it's recommended to take Rain of Arrows III as your subskill. Blind can work too, but since you're already lowering her attack with Mist it can be easier to deal with consistent, low damage over spiky, medium damage.
If you aren't strong enough to Break her before her Charge Attack, you will want to bring Dodge AllTakes no DMG or debuffs while in effect
, Mirror ImageNext one-to-one attack received will be ineffective
(Effect removed on next all-foe all-ally attack)
, and/or DMG CutTaking less DMG
Damage Cut reducing damage taken for all elements.
Warning! Does not work for Plain Damage! to attempt to survive Tempest. You should be able to push her to Break if you survive, and by the time she uses her next Charge Attack Peridot Carbuncle should be ready to go. Another option is to sandbag all your skills until after her first Charge Attack and bring Veil (1 time)Debuffs will be nullified (1 time)
"Veil" is an unofficial name used by the wiki for this status effect. Its actual in-game name is "Immune." or cross your fingers that she doesn't use Backdraft. After her Charge Attack, immediately push her through Overdrive to Break.

Strategy
- Unlike other Omega Impossible raids, it's possible to simply focus the main boss down (Ayr) and ignore the adds.
- Depending on the overall damage of the raid, you may spend many turns under Terror Absolute's debuffs. Plan accordingly.
- Zel makes a good GravitySpecial attack max charge turn is extended
and PetrifiedStops enemy's charge diamonds from filling.
target due to having very annoying/deadly charge attacks.
- Keep an eye on Nil and Zel's Overdrive gauges as the fight progresses. While they are rarely targeted directly, Warlocks will often use the Hermit EX skill Choke to rapidly farm Honor by striking every head at once. A combination of this and Chain Bursts can push the auxiliary heads into Overdrive and even activate their 50% diamond fill.
