Strategy

The key to defeating Gilbert is compensating for his mechanical gimmicks. His damage and health is not exceptionally difficult to endure otherwise.

As a result, it does not require an exceptional grid, but demands very specific character/summon utilities.

The major gimmicks with suggested counters are as follows:

  • All Phases - Gilbert periodically gains powerful local buffs
    • What you Need - Lots of Dispels ( True Big Bang500%Massive Light damage to a foe (Damage cap: ~2,020,000) and remove 1 buff.

Still, it is wise not to over-invest in Healing skills, and to bring immediate debuff sources such as  ThorMjolnir Massive Light damage to all foes.
