Pride of the Ascendant is a series of challenging special quests with two difficulties, Proud and Proud+. They are unlocked after clearing Chapter 110 Story: Protector of Truth and require rank 151 or above to access. They reward Azure Accolade square.jpg Azure Accolade (Proud) and Cloud Commendation square.jpg Cloud Commendation (Proud+) upon first completion, which can be used to purchase rewards in the Pride of the Ascendant Shop.

Strategy[edit]

The key to defeating Gilbert is compensating for his mechanical gimmicks. His damage and health is not exceptionally difficult to endure otherwise.

As a result, it does not require an exceptional grid, but demands very specific character/summon utilities.

The major gimmicks with suggested counters are as follows:

  • All Phases - Gilbert periodically gains powerful local buffs
    • What you Need - Lots of Dispels (Skill charge attack.png True Big BangMassive Light damage to a foe and remove 1 buff.
