Transitioning to Titan

Main article: Advanced Grids#Transitioning to an Optimus "Primal" Grid

Optimus grids are expensive and partial investment will often result in lower output than their fully-built Omega counterparts. Listed below are some important grid pieces and examples of grids to give you an idea of what may be required.

Premium Omega Earth weapons. Uncapping is not required yet. Strongly recommended to have these weapons before transitioning to Titan. These weapons open up the grid to more setup possibilities.

Grid Weapons

Core Grid Weapons

Necessary weapons to run certain setups. You may be able to run with fewer copies, but these are strongly recommended.

Weapon Copies Notes

Bloodwrought Coral
2 - 3
  • A unique weapon that boosts Earth Optimus weapon skills while also providing a strong aura-boosted Normal Attack Amplify. Because of this, it is strongly recommended to run Titan as a main or support summon.
  • Particularly potent for manual burst rotations or normal attack focused Full Auto setups.
  • 3 copies opens up the potential to reduce the amount of Landslide Scepters run in older setups, though generally running 2 with other raw damage modifiers will perform similarly or better depending on the content it's used in.
  • See #Exalto & Aura Boost for more information on how utilize these weapons.

Pillardriver
2
  • This weapon is core in Earth for both Omega and Optimus grids due to its unconditional 50,000 damage supplemental per copy on top of its 7% damage cap.
  • 1 copy can be used in any grids still running Caim "Highlander" grids, but 2 is preferred.

Ichigo Hitofuri
1 - 2
  • A strong general raw attack weapon with a sizeable Weapon Awakening multiattack boost.

Landslide Scepter
2 - 3
  • A unique weapon that provides 40% EX ATK, 25% DEF, and 7% Special DMG Cap per copy when at least 3 of the same weapon are in a grid.
    • 2 or less copies can be run when stacking Bloodwrought Coral or other potent grid weapons.

Harp of Repudiation
1*Only one is obtainable.

Harp of Renunciation
1*Only one is obtainable.
  • Used to introduce a unique Omega ATK modifier in the grid.
  • Typically used in any short fights and burst setups.
  • Common Keys:

Fang of the Dragonslayer Mk II

  • A very strong raw damage weapon that brings a large Omega ATK modifier along with Weapon Awakening.
  • Should not be used in any longer fights where it is difficult to mitigate the 5% turn damage.
  • An important weapon slot for enabling Hrunting's passive.

Weapons that provide a lot to a grid if you have them, but aren't as widely used or as high of a priority than others.

  • Earth's boostable Skill DMG Supplemental weapon. This weapon is used in any setups that have multi-hit damage skills.
  • Up to 2 copies can be used to reach the 200,000 supplemental skill DMG grid cap.
  • Its Fandango weapon skill makes it a decent slot when trying to reach triple attack rate thresholds.

  • A fully Attack awakened copy can be used as a strong raw damage slot with 5% general cap up.

  • Hrunting is one of the stronger Illustrious Weapons in how it transforms MC into your main damage dealer with its double strike effect and strong self-buffs.
  • Shines well in offensive Sabre classes like Berserker and Glorybringer

  • Andromeda is a decent all-rounder Harp mainhand but has yet to find any real use outside of hard content solo fights.
  • Its lack of negative side effects is balanced out by its lack of strong buffs.
  • Investment in this weapon can be seen as questionable when other transformative options like Hrunting exist.

These are some noteworthy summons that are used specifically in Earth setups outside of the standard Beelzebub, Belial, and Arcarum Summons.

Grid Templates


It's important to remember to adjust your grid depending on the content you wish to tackle. The grids in this section are only to serve as a general baseline for how grids are built.

Bloodwrought Coral allows for grids to drop Landslide Scepters and its strict grid requirements and still perform well in various content. If Landslide's weapon skill boosts are still desired, 3× Coral can be equipped instead. These grids greatly favor classes and characters that have high normal attack damage, most notably classes that can utilize Hrunting.

Landslide Scepter-based grids require 3× copies of a weapon which can be satisfied by stacking itself or 3× of another similarly strong weapon. See the Exalto tab for other examples. Due to how most setups are heavily focused on auto-attack damage, Chain of Falsehood is often run, though other keys can be equipped when needed.

Caim grids are not nearly as common as the used to be, though they can still be used when a setup wants specific weapon utility that standard Landslide grids can't provide due to how much grid space it takes up.
It is not recommended to invest into a Titan grid if this is the only grid type possible.

A grid filled with a huge amount of raw ATK and cap up but is not meant to last long. Due to Fang of the Dragonslayer's mixed modifiers, either Titan or Yggdrasil Omega can be used as support summon for similar results.

Burst Setups


These setups aim to deal large amount of damage in as few turns as possible or in a short amount of time. These setups are typically used for farming raids with a minimum Blue Chest honors requirement or competing in Unite and Fight events.

Normal Attack Burst

These setups will typically employ the use of Chain of Falsehood which provides 20% Bonus Damage. Some setups may also use the Dark Opus Weapon as a main weapon to utilize the Double StrikeAttacks twice each turn
granted on C.A. Characters that provide Bonus Damage or deal high normal attack damage through modifiers such as Assassin (Buff) is preferred.
