Gameplay Notes

Manaturas

The Manadiver class conjures a manatura in battle. Manaturas have two main effects, a skill effect that activates after every normal attack and charge attack with a charge bar cost, and a passive, support effect.

  • You can conjure a manatura by tapping on the Manatura button on the Party screen while in the Manadiver class.
  • Only one type of manatura can be conjured at a time.
  • Manaturas can either be obtained as loot from specific quests and raids, or formed a pact with in exchange of materials.
    • If more than one of the same type of manatura is obtained as loot, the excess manatura will be automatically sold for rupies.
    • Manaturas can still be obtained as loot even if Manadiver has not yet been unlocked.

Manadiver builds upon the strengths of the Warlock while gaining the Chaos Ruler's Delay ability, making it a viable blend of the two.

Manaturas add an additional factor, similar to the Mechanic companion. However, they are less customizable and don't rely on any special interactions with the MC. As such, the selected Manatura is always present to provide both effects as long as other conditions are met.

As some of these require Crests, the class synergizes with Characters and Summons that generate and/or benefit from Crests as well. Other synergy considerations vary depending on choice of Manatura, but charge bar generation and skill damage buffs are generally helpful in any setup.

    • Note that the skill damage cap raise for Manadiver is worse than Class 130301 wa square.jpg Warlock's similar skill Metaphysics, but is applied to all the team at once. If using Manadiver mainly to wield a dagger or staff that deals skill damage, and the rest of your team does not do significant skill damage, you may in some cases be better off using Class 130301 wa square.jpg Warlock.
  • Certain manatura work well with certain main weapon effects
