Healing recovers allies' HP based on a percentage of their maximum HP.
Most healing abilities have a cap on the maximum amount of HP that can be recovered at a time.

About Healing
In-game, green-bordered skills are broadly defined as healing skills. However, not all green-border skills provide healing (they may grant another supportive effect like Clear), while healing may come from other sources such as red/yellow-border skills or charge attacks.
Types of Healing
- Direct healingUnofficial term: Heals a flat amount of HP upon activation. Most sources of direct healing base their healing caps on the caster's specs. Their descriptions typically state "restore HP".
RefreshHP is restored on every turn
: A heal-over-time buff that activates at the end of the turn. Heals a certain percentage of max HP up to the cap, for a certain duration. Both healing cap and duration vary by source, and healing is based on each character's specs. Refresh buffs do not stack, regardless of source; however, they do stack with different healing buffs.RevitalizeRecover HP each turn. Boost to charge bar if HP is full.
: Practically identical to Refresh; the only difference is that if the character is already at full HP, they will gain a charge boost at the end of the turn. Amount of charge bar gained at the end of the turn depends on the source.DrainDamage dealt is partially absorbed to HP
: A heal-over-time buff that immediately activates after the character's attack. Typically, it recovers HP based on damage dealt. Some Drain effects only activate on normal (one-foe) attacks, while others activate even on charge attacks.DMG AbsorptionPartially absorbs DMG to recover HP
: Heals back some HP based on damage taken by enemy attacks.Death's GraceConverting turn-based DMG to HP recovery (Poison, burn, wither etc.)
: Converts damage from damage-over-time debuffs (such asBurnedHP is lowered on every turn
) into HP recovery. Amount healed depends on how much damage the debuff would have dealt.- Potions: Unlike most of the above healing types, potions have no healing cap.

Potions
Potions are special battle-exclusive items. They have no healing cap, making them powerful sources of healing.
Green and Blue Potions are only present for a single battle; once the battle ends, any additional potions obtained during battle are lost. Some events and game modes have their own versions of potions that can be used alongside the typical ones.
